Amongst other things.
“Softer, Mama. Yes, soft… swirl your tongue. Like I showed you. Fuck yes… just like that.”
Angie moaned against the golf-ball sized globe between her lips, the one that had been eliciting sounds from the man before her she hadn’t even known him capable of.
“Stroke it at the same time,” he gasped, taking her hand and covering the shaft of his dick. She began a slow stroke all on her own, using just her thumb and forefinger—the way she’d learned he liked it. She swirled her tongue around his balls in time, wetting one patiently before lapping a trail to the other and taking it in her mouth, as well.
She waited until his head was thrown back on the couch. Until his screams had descended into short pants. Until anyone without a view of what she was doing to him would assume he was having an damn asthma attack. She waited until then to sit tall, and take the tip of his cock in her mouth.
She kept the weighty globes cupped in her hand as she swallowed as much of his cock as she could. She surprised even herself when she nearly got to the base of his dick, low enough to run the tip of her tongue along the balls she was still working in her hand.
Deep in her throat, cradled in her hand, and lapped at by the tip of her tongue—all at once.
It shocked Roman in a way he’d never experienced. He almost thrust into her mouth, deeper, harder. He took two huge clumps of her hair before he did, pulling his dick from her mouth with a violent gasp. He’d damn near cum in her mouth, down her throat, but that wasn’t how he wanted this to end. He brought her face to his. A string of his juices held onto her bottom lip until he took it between his own, breaking the bridge and tasting himself.
“Was that okay?” she asked between rampant kisses, getting answer enough when he took her waist and flipped her onto her stomach. She noticed, with each day that passed, he gave her less direction in the bedroom. Less guidance. With each new day, he didn’t answer her curious questions with words, but instead, with action.
Their lovemaking had grown more natural because of it. They had more fun, just enjoyed themselves, and each other.
She laughed as she took the arm of the couch in both hands, sat tall on all fours, and arched her back. She looked over her shoulder and caught his eyes, just as he placed his fisted hands on either side of her body and pressed the tip of his pounding member into her folds from behind.
“I almost finished in your mouth,” he gasped into her ear.
“I wouldn’t have minded it.” She reached up and took the back of his head in her hand, holding his eyes as he sank inside her. Her knees immediately bent, an unconscious response to the sensation of him entering her, spreading her, bringing alive new trickles of pleasure that she hadn’t known existed. Finding little pockets of her pussy that had stayed hidden, it seemed, was his forte, and there was always a new pocket waiting just for him every time he had her.
He moaned with every inch that her body took, hardly able to keep himself held upright. It felt too good, too right, like home. It was a feeling he’d forgotten he could feel. He wanted to fall asleep to it. He wanted to stay with it for life.
With her.
His hips moved instantly, instinctively, searching for more of that feeling, for her deepest parts.
Angie’s knees bent more with every well-timed stroke of his dick, until her toes came into his view.
He placed one hand on her arched back, never breaking his slow pace, bent down, and took her big toe between his lips, sucking thoroughly. His thrusts increased, meeting her eyes as he suckled.
Angie’s mouth dropped at the sight. It was intense and foreign, the feeling of her pink toes disappearing into his mouth. Somehow, the nerves in her toes only intensified the ones that had been put ablaze in her pussy, and when she came it was sudden, hard, stealing the adoring smile on her face and replacing it with an ecstasy fueled frown, one that sent her eyes flying shut as she rode the beautiful peak only he could take her to.
“Look at me.”
Her eyes opened. As soon as they reconnected with his over her shoulder, she came again, pressing her toes deeper into his mouth as she rolled with every spasm until she was sure she had nothing left to give.
She hadn’t even realized he’d come with her until she felt him collapse onto her back, pushing her deeper into the couch with his weight as their panting breaths slowly became one.
“Best birthday ever,” she gasped, frantically, her words barely discernable from where her lips were smashed into the leather couch.
But he understood her.
His soft laughter lapped at her ears, curled into her skin, and took her, lulling her to sleep.

A few weeks later, Angie answered her cell phone from where she was planted outside of the Governor’s house. She’d parked her new Bentley a comfortable distance away, and had spent the better part of the hour with binoculars glued to her face. It seemed Governor King was hosting a large brunch, and all of Manhattan’s elite were in attendance. Politicians, journalists, tycoons, heiresses, and even a few movie stars piled into his home, at least two hundred over the course of an hour.
Angie answered the phone absently, without even looking at the screen, too preoccupied at the sight of George Clooney making his way up the busy driveway. She nearly gouged her eyes out with the binoculars in her hand as she climbed all over the steering wheel trying to get a closer look.
As if that wasn’t enough, Anderson Cooper came into her line of sight, and Angie almost lost her mind. It took every inch of willpower she had not to jump out of that Bentley, run across that street, and tackle Anderson—who she’d deemed her ‘gay husband’ many moons ago—into the perfectly manicured lawn.
“This is Angie Colt,” she mumbled, realizing she’d answered her phone but, in her awe, had yet to actually say anything.
“I need a real drink tonight,” Roman’s voice wafted through the phone, completely unaware that Angie was only halfway listening.
Is that Hilary Clinton?
It was occurring to her that this wasn’t just any old fundraising brunch. This was a private event where an obscene amount of money would be getting thrown around.
“Good,” she said, absently. “I need one too.”
“You always need a drink.”
“You’re one to talk.”
“Are you enjoying your new car?”
“Very much. I’m sitting inside of it right now, actually. Did you know this thing has a USB port in it?” she beamed.
His laughter was warm like cocoa. “Most cars do.”
“I can’t keep up with you crazy kids these days.”
“You just turned 25. I don’t think you’re old enough to have earned the right to use that catchphrase.”
“Uh huh.” Cradling the phone on her shoulder, she switched out her binoculars for her camera phone and began snapping away.
“You sound distracted.”
She hesitated, sensing he was going to try to get off the phone. “Why don’t you come with me to Zoey’s baby shower tonight? If a drink is what you’re after, I can promise you she’s going to make sure they’re present, pregnant host be damned.”
“My brothers are all going, so yes, that pretty much confirms that liquor will not be in short supply. In fact, I don’t even think this is a real baby shower. I think it’s a party in the Hamptons, disguised as a baby shower.”
“You figured that one out, huh?”
“I lived in the same house with her for four years.”
Angie laughed.
“Pretty sure Zoey is going to be that mom who gives her child their first drink, their first hit of weed, and sneaks them into the nightclub at age sixteen.”
Angie frowned. He’d actually just described her mother, to the letter, word for word.
“Why don’t we go together?” she asked.
“You know I’m not going to that party.”
“Avoiding your brothers is not going to solve anything, Roman. You h
ave to face the things you fear the most, head on, if you ever want to overcome them. No problem was ever solved by ignoring it. The real healing has to come from within, and how can you heal if you don’t have the courage to face up to what scares you the most?”
“Don’t psychoanalyze me.”
“Maybe you and I could have a private after party… after Zoey’s party? One that involves your balls in my mouth.”
“You do know your audience, don’t you?”
“Let’s just show up for a minute. And if you decide you want to leave, then we’ll leave.”
He took a deep breath. “Okay, but only if you wear something extremely slutty.”
She made a salute. “Already there, Captain. Zoey has already demanded I borrow something of hers. I’m sure she’s ruffling through her closet for the sluttiest dress she owns right as we speak.”
“She won’t have to ruffle for long.”
Angie giggled softly. “I gotta go. I’m on a stakeout.”
“Jesus.”
“Don’t worry about me.”
“Not possible.”
Her smile softened. “I’ll see you at the party.”
“We’re not driving up together?”
“By the time I’m done with work I’ll barely have time to get back to my apartment, shower and reassure my roommates that I’m still alive. They haven’t seen me in a few weeks. You’ve been keeping me pretty busy.”
“Is that a problem?”
She blushed. “Not at all.”
“Can I at least pick you up?” He paused. “Or… you could shower here. After I eat that pussy, of course.”
Angie’s stomach moved inside out.
“And then I could take you on a quick shopping trip for a slutty outfit of your own.”
Angie squinted. “I can see how that would be appealing to a normal woman, but shopping is, literally, my worst nightmare.”
“And me eating your box?”
Her blush deepened. “Far from my worst nightmare. A dream, actually. One that could easily spiral, and we can’t be late for the shower. You know what an emotional wreck Zoey is lately. If we’re late, we might not come out of it alive. Look, I really have to go. I’ll see you soon.” She hung up before he could protest any further, or give her any more sexual invitations that she simply wasn’t a strong enough woman to fight.
She sat outside of the Governor’s house for another thirty minutes. At this point, she was ready to throw in the towel and call it a day. She hadn’t known what she’d been looking for when she parked her car there that day. Though she’d been entertained by all of the sightings and celebrity faces, it felt like a day wasted.
The moment the thought hit her mind, a car pulled up. The event had already begun, and the arrivals had slowed down, so the Audi convertible that pulled up stuck out.
Angie watched it come to a stop next to the valet, and a young, handsome man climbed out.
She frowned, wondering why that handsome man looked so familiar.
Then, it hit her. She knew that handsome man. In just a few hours, she’d be attending a house party, disguised as a baby shower, in his unborn child’s honor.
As she watched Val Romanovsky make his way up the driveway and to the Governor’s door, she didn’t know why.
But she felt sick.
***
Later that night, Angie learned that, when Roman Romanovsky had his mind made up about something, he was nothing if not determined.
He’d picked her up for Zoey’s party early, and proceeded to break every traffic law in existence to get them to Val’s apartment, where everyone was meeting for the ride up to the Hamptons.
Roman made sure they had time to spare.
Plenty of time.
For that, Angie would be forever grateful. Her mind had been on Val all day. He’d come and gone from the Governor’s house within thirty minutes that morning, but what she didn’t understand was why. She didn’t even know that Val knew the Governor, let alone knew him well enough to stop in during an important event, walking up the driveway like he owned the place.
On the other hand, it had been a fundraising brunch, and political officials weren’t exactly picky with who they accepted money from. Val had become something of a mini-celebrity in Manhattan. Everyone knew he was the youngest millionaire in Tribeca, and flirting with the billionaire’s club. Everyone knew his face. His presence in any establishment, even a house in New Jersey, immediately raised its stock. Perhaps it wasn’t so crazy that he would be at the Governor’s home.
He’d been deemed the one to watch, after all, and he had money to burn.
Still, it had bothered Angie all day, and she still didn’t have any answers to her questions. It was becoming a familiar feeling in her life. The questions continued to pile up, one after the other, so quickly it was almost becoming comical to her. There were so many questions, and not a single answer.
It was enough to drive any woman crazy.
Thankfully, for Angie, she had a man in her life that had the power to make her forget everything, regardless of circumstance.
Her heaving pants grew intense as she took hold of the handle bar on the car’s ceiling with one hand, and clawed at his blonde head with the other. A blonde head that was currently in its new favorite place, square between her thighs.
“You’re gonna make me cum,” she cried as he pushed her knees open farther, forcing the t-shirt dress she’d thrown on higher up her naked hips and pushing her back harder against the door of her new Bentley in the process.
His entire body was curled over the gearshift in what looked to be a terribly uncomfortable position. She could actually see the stick jamming straight into his gut. But it wasn’t enough to stop him, or even slow him down, as he swirled his tongue in circles around her clit.
Angie couldn’t see his face from where it had disappeared under her dress, but the sound of him feasting had filled the vehicle, a sound so unbelievably sexy, it was enough to finish her, quickly.
Her frantic gasps fogged the tinted windows as she came just minutes after he’d parked the car, looked at her with hungry eyes and spread her legs.
“Roman, I’m gonna…”
He hummed his approval against her clit, only amplifying the pleasure that his mouth and tongue had started, and Angie took the safety handle above her head in a numbing grip as he licked her to completion.
He held her hips in a tight grip when she came, ensuring his tongue remained sealed to her wetness, tasting every last drop.
The Bentley rocked in time with her spasms, leaving no question to anyone walking past outside what was going on behind the tinted windows of the car on that cold winter night.

“It’s my baby shower!”
Angie and Roman both smirked as Zoey made her unnecessary declaration, crossed the threshold of the apartment she now shared with Val, and wrapped her arms around Angie’s shoulders. The modern apartment was slowly losing its fight against the rapidly approaching baby. It was still all angles and hard steel, but little dabs of pinks and blues now dotted the surroundings. In the farthest corner, a white crib sat halfway assembled, with a mobile spinning quietly above it.
“It most certainly is your baby shower,” Angie confirmed.
Zoey embraced Roman next, holding him tighter than usual. “I’m so happy you’re here.”
Roman waited for her to pull back, blue eyes softening in hers. “Me too.”
Angie could tell he meant it.
“Proud of you,” Zoey said, cupping his cheeks.
“You too, Sis.”
“What are you proud of me for? Any idiot can spread her legs and get knocked up.”
Roman pressed his lips together and didn’t respond.
Angie nodded. Silence was the only correct answer with the unhinged pregnant woman standing before them.
“Wait, I almost forgot.” Angie bent down and picked up the tower of diapers from where she’d sat it down in the hallway. She
presented it to Zoey with a grin. “Happy baby shower. It’s from both of us.”
“Angie,” Zoey purred, taking the tower with pouty lips. “You didn’t have to do that.”
Angie did have to. Word had quickly spread amongst everyone Zoey knew that the woman was a ticking time bomb. One false move, and she would go off. Angie wouldn’t dream of showing up to her house party, slash baby shower, without a proper gift, not just because Zoey was her best friend, but because she really wanted to keep all of her teeth firmly planted in her mouth.
“So this is from both of you, huh?” Zoey asked. “So now we’re consolidating gifts out of wedlock?”
Roman’s lips remained sealed shut.
Angie took her cues from him.
“Two gifts in one,” Zoey chirped. “This must be what kids who were born on Christmas feel like.”
Roman and Angie both stepped into the apartment, deciding not to poke the beast that was constantly lingering right on the edge of Zoey’s sanity.
Zoey set the gift on the table next to the door, where dozens of other unopened gifts were piled up, before taking Angie’s hand in hers. “Come on, I’ve found the perfect outfit for you.”
“Where’s Val?” Roman asked.
Zoey turned to him. “He ate the last of the butter pecan ice cream and I cried. Hard. Almost threw up. So he’s out getting more.”
Roman hissed with a shake of his head.
“You got something to say?” Zoey cocked her head back.
“Nope.” Roman didn’t even make eye contact.
“Yeah, I thought so. Now keep an eye on the door. I didn’t tell the guys you were coming. Wanted it to be a surprise, so be ready. Angie and I have to get ourselves beautiful.”
Roman had a wise-ass remark, but managed to bite his tongue.
Angie chortled at the sight, allowing herself to get dragged behind her friend into the guest bedroom, where Zoey had various dresses and accessories laid out all over the bed.

Roman sat on the edge of the sofa with ESPN playing on Val’s plasma. Unable to focus on anything, he stared up at the sunken lights that littered Val’s vaulted ceilings, thinking about how useless they were in an apartment that already had the natural illumination of lower Manhattan’s lights gleaming in through every window.
