Yeah, you skeletons, time to look elsewhere. Us bigger women get the attention because we give the guys more of what they want.

As Jewel finishes her second can, she starts to feel a little aggressive toward all the irritating groupies. Ash’s eyes are dark brown, but feel like red-hot lasers as he keeps his gaze fixed on Jewel. His matching dark hair is a little messy after the show. She notices the famous wolf tattoo on his neck in addition to the one on his upper chest. Jewel can feel a familiar warmness rising up in her. If she doesn’t sleep with Ash tonight, she is going to regret it forever.

  CHAPTER SIX

Jewel watches as Ash makes his way through the crowd of girls. With each step he takes towards her, her hope is replaced with a slightly nervous feeling. While she knows he is disinterested in the rest of the women, it’s still like a dream, something she had wanted to happen since she saw him on American Voice.

She tries to swallow her emotions as he arrives. Ash cracks open a new beer and takes a massive sip as he sits down next to her. Ash still hasn’t put a shirt on and she can feel his body heat, but he has already wiped most of the sweat off from the show. Ash offers her a fresh beer. Jewel notices how fast she’s been drinking.

“Thanks. You don’t know how long I was dying for a beer,” she says, “I was so glad there was some in here.”

She pauses, “Your show was really good.”

“Thanks, and I’d never be one to deny a woman her beer.” He responds as he finishes his off. One of the other band members notices and tosses him another.

“Do you write your songs?” she inquires.

“I do. Sometimes the rest of the guys help… I lead them along.”

“I thought you were great on American Voice. I can’t believe you didn’t win.”

Ash chuckles and then drinks more of his new beer. “Yeah. Where you from? Around here?” he asks.

“At least for the last five years. I feel much more at home here in Cali.”

Jewel catches a glimpse of Ash’s fresh ink. It is a tattoo of a howling wolf.

  “Nice tat. Is that new?”

Ash nods, but his attention is broken when Wolfe enters the room.

“Get all the girls out!” Wolfe says. He looks directly at Ash.

“Everyone, up and out!” Ash demands. Slowly, the disappointed females start to get up.

“Except you two.” Ash says as he motions towards Jewel and Alyssa.

Ash and Wolfe share a glance. Wolfe nods and helps the rest of the band members get their ladies out of the room.

As Ash gets more comfortable where he is sitting he puts one arm around Jewel. His hand slightly caresses her breast before resting on her arm. When she turns to look at him, he simply winks at her and returns his attention to Wolfe.

Jewel instantly melts. She can feel herself becoming a puddle on the floor, ready for Ash. Her desires for him only grow, and it becomes difficult to make herself focus on the actions at hand. She’d rather let Ash continue to grope her and just let her desire take her where it may.

After the last girl makes her way from the room, Jewel and Alyssa look at each other as the two club managers from earlier come into the room. They’re practically trembling, they are so afraid. Despite their attempts to appear normal, they can’t quite mask the fear on their faces.

“It appears that these men are short,” Wolfe explains as he pushes them forward into the middle of the room. Dan trips and lands on the coffee table, and Greg falls into Dan. The coffee table cracks but doesn’t fully give way.

The other members of Seven Ravens start to join in. They push the managers around, punching and kicking them while they are on the ground. The two managers let out groans and whimpers of pain. The men are holding back, just enough not to break any bones but enough to leave some bruises for the next week. As the managers try to get to their feet the other band members push them back down.

“We don’t accept short payments!” one of them taunts.

Another calls them dead meat and punches Greg in the stomach. He lets out a cry of pain.

Greg coughs but manages to choke out, “We’ll have it next month… when you play your next show here.”

Greg pauses to cough some more, and winces as another band member threatens to hit him again.

Dan adds, “Plus interest... plus interest! Just stop. Please. Stop.” Blood trickles down Dan’s lip.

Jewel becomes a bit timid, her body subconsciously distancing herself from the violence. I didn’t sign up for all this!

Ash must have noticed her withdrawing, because he stands up and motions for her to get up. When she does, he takes her over to the corner.

He positions her against the wall, leans in, and kisses her deeply. She can taste desire on his lips and the warmth of his body as he comes in closer. His hand reaches into her hair and pulls her in while the rest of his body pushes her against the wall. She can feel his muscles as her hands grasp his bare back to draw him even closer. This isn’t close enough.

All too soon the kiss ends, leaving Jewel disappointed and wanting more. She watches as he reaches into his pocket and hands her a plastic card.

  “What’s this?” she asks.

“It’s my hotel key. Wait for me there. You can take our limo. It’s out front. I’ve got to ride my chopper back with my boys.”

He lets his eyes wander the rest of her figure. When he looks back up at her, he winks and backs out of the corner so she can leave.

Without even thinking, her hand reaches up and snatches the key from Ash. She gives him a knowing look as she heads out. Once she’s out of sight, it hits her like a ton of bricks.

“Holy shit!” she declares in the hallway.

As she exits the club, she begins to have second thoughts. But she admits to herself that while Ash is intimidating, he is also pretty sexy, and she can’t turn back now. No right-minded female would turn down a rock singer like Ash, at least not if they cared about their own sexual pleasures in the slightest. Jewel reminds herself that turning Ash down now would mean completely wasting the opportunity she’s been dying for all night. She grips the key tighter as she steps outside the club, adrenaline pumping through her veins.

  CHAPTER SEVEN

Already waiting by the limo is Alyssa, leaning against it with wide eyes and a huge smile on her face.

“We got the hotel keeeys!” she sings, dangling her key in front of Jewel. “Mine’s from Vincent. How’s Ash? What’s he like?”

Jewel bites her lip, but doesn’t give Alyssa any other response. As the driver approaches to let them in, Jewel pulls Alyssa away from the limo so the darkly dressed man with a cap can open the door. When they get in, the interior is elegant and spacious, just as Jewel had always imagined a limo to be. The limo starts up and they begin to navigate the city traffic to the hotel.

“I can’t believe you were going to drop musicians cold turkey like that. You would’ve regretted it. Now you’ll have a fun night with a serious hottie! If only Johnny were here to see this!” Alyssa says as she reaches over to poke Jewel playfully.

Alyssa is definitely buzzed, but her intent to sleep with one of the band members has been clear all night long, so Jewel doesn’t say anything.

“What kind of bikes do you think they ride? Harleys?” Alyssa wonders aloud.

  “Are there even other kinds?”

  The girls laugh.

It doesn’t take long for the limo to come to a stop in front of a massive hotel. The limo driver exits the vehicle to come around and open the door for Alyssa and Jewel. They thank him politely. Like two excited teenagers, they high five each other before walking into the lobby.

At the 15th floor they get out of the elevator. Alyssa goes her own way to get to Vincent’s room, and Jewel scans the hall to find Ash’s. When she opens the door, a huge, luxurious suite is revealed. At first, Jewel is impressed as she takes a step into the shiny, well lit room. The floors are tiled, and the room is well-decorated. There is a bar set up on t
he left side of the room, and a giant bed overflowing with pillows on the right. The other side of the room has glass sliding doors that lead to the balcony. Moonlight shines gracefully through the glass and bright stars twinkle in the sky. It’s a beautifully perfect night.

For a moment, sitting on the soft pillow top mattress, Jewel wonders how the band can afford a room like this. While Seven Ravens are becoming more popular, the show wasn’t nearly crowded enough to fund a hotel like this, especially if all the other band members are in similarly nice rooms.

She runs her hand across the mattress as she imagines Ash coming into the room for her. She has so many questions, but there’s no way she was going to let them sabotage her night tonight. She breathes in slowly and exhales with a content sigh.

“You got this, girl,” she whispers to herself with a smirk.

Before Jewel can finish her fantasy, she hears the rumbling of several motorcycles as they pull into the parking lot.

“Mmm.” Just the sound of the motorcycles approaching flusters her. She shivers with excitement and bites her lip in anticipation, knowing it must be them and that it won’t be much longer before her lover for the night returns to her. Quickly, she walks over to the closest mirror and starts to look herself over. Again she adjusts her breasts in her bra and fixes her hair. She winks at her reflection and gives herself a playful tap on the rear.

“Give him the night of his life,” she says aloud, encouraging herself.

The door opens and Jewel turns to greet him. Ash wastes no time dropping his bag on the floor and undoing some of the chains on his jeans, dropping them on the floor along the way. When he reaches Jewel he grabs her in his arms. He wastes no time in pressing the warmth of his body to hers and motioning her to kiss him.

Just tonight, Jewel thinks to herself as she abandons all reservations in the heat of desire. No bank teller or optometrist would be able to make me feel like this. She lets her mind fade and embraces the rushing sensation that has taken over her body.

Jewel finds herself once again pressed up against the wall beside the bar. She can’t pull him close enough to her. He puts his hand back in her hair, starting up right where they had left off at the club. He pushes her chin up with a single finger, bringing her mouth to his as their tongues begin to dance.

His pelvis is pressed firmly against hers and she can feel his hard erection. It turns her on. She grows impatient, and wanting to undress him right now and let him into her. She doesn’t though, instead choosing to let the sexual energy continue to build. As it does she just can’t help but to grind up against his body. Slowly, his pelvis moves against hers. She takes the opportunity to pull his new shirt off. Jewel grabs Ash’s cock over his jeans, running her hand slowly up and down to feel every inch.

It isn’t much longer before her dress is tossed to the ground. Everything but his boxers are off, and he’s pushed her onto the bar, knocking several glass bottles of alcohol onto the soft white carpet. He pulls her toward him and begins teasing her with half kisses, pulling slightly back each time she goes in for more. She can feel his cock rubbing against her, making her wetter, driving her desire past the point of no return.

She begins to nibble on his ear, and on his neck. She bites it and her hands wander down his body. She wants to entice him, too. He lets out a slight shiver as she slips her hand into his boxers, and she lets out a soft moan as his fingers slip into her wet opening. As he travels along the seam of her clit she shivers, trying to put her focus on him. She can feel how wet she is from his fingers; it drives her crazy.

Right before she’s about to say something, he takes the last article of her clothing off and slips his cock out of its sheath. She moans as she feels it slide into her. It’s long and wide, and fills her so that she can’t resist digging her nails into his back. She wants him deeper, she wants more. He continues to stay in charge, teasing her on occasion, making her move the way he wants. “More. Pleeeassee. Oh. Ash.. Ash!”

She wants more of him, but he takes his time. Ash moves at his own pace, the thrusts of his hips, and the way he moves inside her. He reads her body like a pro and makes sure to give her just enough. He’s the one pulling the strings, even if it means making her beg for more. It’s just the way she likes it.

As they move from the bar to the bed, she loves the way he feels inside of her and enjoys the expressions on his face as the sweat from their bodies mingle. Ash cranks up the pace, no longer in playful teasing mode. He splits Jewel’s legs open as far as they’ll go and drills into her, sending her over the edge. Jewel cums hard, letting out a scream. Ash gives her a moment to recover before flipping her over and putting her in charge. Jewel grinds her hips up and down and puts serious pressure on his deeply positioned cock. Jewel can feel him harden even before he begins to moan in orgasm. He pushes in harder. Jewel fucks back a few more times before Ash is satisfied.

He lays down beside her, breathing hard. Jewel caresses his chest and takes her time feeling his muscular arms. Ash reciprocates, running his hands through her hair and holding her gently. Jewel lets her mind go blank, refusing to think too much. She soaks up the moment. Without speaking, they each drift off to sleep.

  CHAPTER EIGHT

The morning sun settles on Jewel’s face, just enough to gently wake her from sleep. On the other side of the bed lies Ash, still sleeping. Lying here with him, she feels no regret, like she originally intended. Instead, she is glad that she was able to satisfy her own needs.

While lying here looking at Ash, she knows that she can walk away and be okay. She isn’t making things complicated. To prove it to herself, she starts to get out of bed. She locates her clothes and starts to get dressed. As she is about to walk away, she feels Ash’s hand grab her wrist. The next second he lets her go. She turns away.

“You should come to our show tonight, just one town over,” Ash says, leaning up in the bed. Jewel doesn’t respond, so he lays back down and closes his eyes, leaving Jewel to her own devices. Jewel heads to the bathroom to check herself over and then leaves the sunny hotel room.

Making her way down the hall, she begins to wonder where Alyssa is.

“Oh, Vince!” The words are moaned. It sounds like Alyssa coming from another room just down the hall.

“I guess I don’t have to worry about her,” Jewel whispers to herself as she finishes her walk down the hallway to the elevator. Jewel takes out her cell phone and pulls up the Uber app.

  Five minutes. Perfect.

Jewel waits patiently in the lobby until her car shows up. They head across town toward the club to pick up her car. Jewel stares out the window and takes time to reflect. She can’t help but to think about everything that happened last night. Her date with the optometrist, the concert, meeting the managers, sleeping with the lead singer of Seven Ravens. Somehow, that’s how it always happens, minus the boring date, of course. There’s always some reason that Jewel manages to get backstage, sometimes alone, sometimes with friends. And she always seems to get with the band members. It’s as if she’s meant to be with a musician, whether she likes it or not.

Her thoughts turn to the negative side of this lifestyle. She remembers opening the van doors on her ex-boyfriend, and how all rockers seem to have so many girls swooning over them. There are thousands every day dying to sleep with them. Thinking about it makes Jewel huff. There is no happy medium. It’s take it or leave it, and she realizes her decision to leave it hasn’t exactly worked out yet.

Once back home Jewel makes a quick bite to eat and plops down on the sofa, thankful to find some solitude. She’s still exhausted from her adventure, and after a few minutes she gets up to make her way to her bedroom to get in a nap before facing the rest of her day.

When she gets up again she feels relieved, mostly because she isn’t lying next to a rockstar this time. That means that she can lay in bed as long as she wants without fear of getting attached. She reflects on how she’s gone about things differently this time. She wished she’d done it t
his way the first time she hooked up with her ex, but then decides it’s all in the past.

No use crying over spilt milk. You’ve moved on. You got what you wanted with no extra baggage. Actually, it turned out much better than you wanted! She while quietly replays last night’s events in her mind.

Jewel feels happy, but something is wrong. She can’t stop thinking about Ash. She had hoped to get up and run some errands, but keeps lying in bed with only one thing on her mind.

“Ash is definitely more of a giver than a taker,” she whispers to herself. She bites her lip, remembering how excited she felt last night. She takes a deep breath and tries to calm her mind.

Lying in her bed, trying not to think of Ash Steele, only makes her think of him even more. In an attempt to distract herself she starts to think about him and his band, and what happened over the years to get him where he is today. She lets herself ponder all the questions she had before, like how he could afford a room like that and why the band was roughing up the club’s managers over money.

She knows there has to be more to the story than she can see. She reaches onto her nightstand and grabs her phone, making herself comfortable while she Googles Ash Steele’s name.

The headlines for many of the articles allude to him partying out of control and trashing hotel rooms. Some of the seedier tabloid sites have articles with pictures of various models and actresses with Ash, some snapped while they were leaving hotels. It was obvious that they were taking the walk of shame the morning after. Jewel lets out a disgusted sigh as she continues scrolling. There are more images and headlines for many more pages. A picture of a grim reaper patch stands out, but before she clicks on the article, Jewel’s phone vibrates with a text.
