In the Middle Page 16

  “Oh no,” she told him.

“Oh yes,” Rob said, spreading cool lube inside her. “Finish you off, hmm? Maybe I’ll simply take my pleasure and leave you wanting.”

“And I was going to tell you I loved you. You’re not going to—”

“Look at Daniel, love, and put your hands on your ass and hold yourself open for me.”

She felt like her whole body must be blushing, but she let go of Daniel’s hair and did as he asked. She found herself leaning over in the process, brushing her breasts against Daniel’s chest. Daniel kept watching her, the muscles of his neck taut with the strain.

Rob positioned the head of his rubber-covered cock at her anus and pushed forward. “Relax, baby. I’ll take good care of you.” He stretched her, moving in short thrusts, each one taking him further until he got past the tight muscles of her sphincter. Then he slid in, taking his time but making steady progress. His cock pressed against her from the other side, making her feel Daniel even more than she had before, almost as if both cocks were competing for the same space.

Rob pushed more, lifting her a few inches off Daniel’s cock, and then pulling her back to make it fill her again. She’d never imagined anything quite like it. All her nerves were screaming pleasure at once, and when Rob reached around and pinched her hard peaks, she screamed. Fireworks seemed to go off all over her body, her pussy and ass quivering around her men, her whole torso shaking. “Oh my God.”

Daniel grinned, and she knew why. Yes, I came, and now you can. His hips came to life, lifting her with each thrust, moving in counterpoint to Rob’s pistoning in her ass. In a few seconds, she felt Daniel’s hot seed coating her inside. Mmm.

She relaxed for a moment and then realized she wasn’t done. Rob had just gotten started. He fucked her, harder and harder. Daniel kept moving too, his cock still hard enough to give her pleasure. Rob’s hands roamed over her body, pinching her tits, scraping her thighs. When he touched her clit, she went off again, her eyes slamming shut as the sensations racked her body.

“Ahh,” cried Rob as he came a second after.

She collapsed on Daniel, Rob’s weight still pressed against her bum. Rob drew back, though, sliding out of her with an audible and vaguely embarrassing noise. But how much more embarrassed could she get? She was already half-naked and had fucked two incredibly good-looking men at the same time. She reached behind her, suddenly afraid that Rob was walking away from her, walking out of her life again.

It’s impossible to pay both men as much attention as they deserve. If I reach out for Rob, I ignore Daniel. She kissed Daniel’s stubbly chin. He always shaved in the morning, and by evening he was already rough and bristly. She liked that, even if she didn’t always appreciate the feel of it against her skin.

Rob was still wearing his leather pants. Maybe he’d pulled them up again. She hadn’t felt the leather against her ass. He was walking around them, looking thoughtful. She looked up with pleading eyes, not sure what to say to make him stay.

“I think I better go,” he said at last. “Thank you, both of you.” He walked across the room to where his shirt was tossed over his briefcase and picked them both up. He didn’t bother to put the shirt on but slung it over his shoulder as he walked toward the door. She prayed he’d stop, turn around, say something, but he didn’t.

“Colorado!” she shouted as he opened the door. She rolled off Daniel onto the opposite side from where Rob was, and she regretted the direction she’d moved immediately.

He looked back over his shoulder, looking bemused. “Darling, I’m leaving. You don’t need to safe word anything.”

“Your leaving is what I’m safe wording.” She knew it didn’t make any sense, but she had to do something, say something. She babbled the first words that popped into her head. “I submitted, and we did a scene. I’m entitled to some aftercare.”

“I think you have Daniel for that, love.”

“But I’m entitled to it from you. And he’s entitled to it from me. Get back here.”

Rob frowned, but he put his briefcase back down inside the door and walked over. “What do you need, Louise?”

“You. Him. Both of you.” She decided she was on the right side after all as Daniel straightened and sat on the bench. She could face them both. It scared the hell out of her to do anything with the safe arrangement she and Daniel had, but she knew it couldn’t last that way forever. In front of her was a chance, maybe a long shot, to have everything she wanted, and she would do anything to have it. Even put her heart on the line. “I love you. Both of you. I love each of you in a way I could never love the other or any other man. No other dom. No other sub. No other boyfriend.”

“I love you too,” both men said at once, but then Rob barreled on. “But that’s just it, Louise. I want you so much it hurts.”

“Then you can have me. Bothered by me cuddling Daniel? Don’t be. I’m going to. But you can order me to my knees in front of you. You can make me do almost anything you want.” She turned to Daniel. “Abracadabra,” she said.

  “Huh? But you’re the top.”

  “Tops need safe words too.”

Rob chuckled. “She’s right, you know. Even tops sometimes need to say they can’t go on. Not very often. But you know, there are less drastic ways than using your safe word to transition your sub out of scene. I think what she’s saying, buddy, is that she wants you to be in this discussion as an equal.”

“That’s right,” said Louise. She looked sheepishly at Daniel. “Please?”

“Of course, Louise,” said Daniel. His face took on a different expression, one she didn’t see much but had observed when she’d come by his office a few times. That’s why he needs me to be his mistress. It wasn’t that he was weak; he was strong all day, in charge, trying to get the best for his clients, and when he got home, he needed to let all that go and not compete anymore.

Both men were looking at her. I need to think it through. What I want breaks all the rules. And both of them might be mad at me. I need time.

I guess I should have thought of that before I convened this little meeting and tossed all the safe words around.

“This is your show, Louise,” Rob said. “Unless you want to cancel that safe word. Otherwise I’ll listen, but I can’t promise to agree.”

It was so tempting to just let Rob take control, but then she’d be abandoning Daniel. “Yes. I’ll find the words.” She took a deep breath. “Thank you for this. Thank you for arranging this, both of you.”

  Rob smiled.

  “You’re welcome,” Daniel said.

“It’s going to do my head in sometimes, trying to be both a top and a bottom. I’m going to need a lot of time being just one or the other. But sometimes I want you both at the same time. Because I love both of you, all the time.

“Pretty greedy, huh? All I can say is that I’ll try my hardest to give you both what you need, what you both want.” She walked around to where Rob was standing. “Rob, I’ll wear your collar. Well, not to work. Accountants are stuffy. But I need you to accept something in return, which is that I’ll need time with Daniel, and—well, you can listen in and figure out the rest, because the rest I have to say to him.”

She turned to Daniel, not waiting for a response from Rob. Rob could be so hard to read when he wanted to be. Daniel had already turned to face her. She wasn’t holding back now. She pushed his legs apart so she could move between them and get even closer. “Daniel, I’ll wear your ring. And I will marry you and be your mistress, but you must understand that I will submit to Rob. He’s my master. And no matter how much I love you, it’s something I need to do.”

Daniel didn’t speak, just stared at her, but she could see the gears grinding in his head. He was figuring it out, weighing the benefits, trying to decide if he could do it, something. She backed away until she was in the doorway and had both men in front of her again.

“That’s it. That’s all I have to say. It’s what I want, and what I need. You two
let me taste paradise tonight, and I’m not going to willingly surrender it.” She nodded to Rob and then Daniel. “I think I’m the one that’s leaving, actually. I’ll be…I don’t know. I’ll be gawking at everyone in the ballroom, I guess.” She took a step back, her heart pounding, and then turned toward the hall. A step turned into a run, although she didn’t know what she was running from. Two strong men. What if one accepts, and the other doesn’t? I guess I’ll be with that one. There are worse fates. But if they both turn me down, I am so screwed. Or not screwed. Maybe I’ll become a nun. She slowed down, because she was going to fall if she kept running in heels, and her ankles would never forgive her.

My clothes are back in the room with Daniel and Rob. Fuck. Oh well, I’ll wait an hour. At least one of them will come speak to me. I hope. She opened the door to the ballroom, ignored the orgy going on to her left and the orgasmic cries of a woman on the St. Andrew’s cross, and headed to the bar.

“One scotch, neat,” she said to Spike. “Make that a double.”

“You keeping a tab, or you paying up front?” asked Spike, amused.

“It’ll have to be a tab, because I don’t have my purse on me.” Because it’s in the damned box.

Spike chuckled. “Well, you can guess what I do to girls who don’t pay their tabs.”

“I’ll pay,” she promised. She couldn’t guess, but she didn’t think she liked the sound of it.

Don’t make me wait too long, please?

  * * * *

The seconds turned to minutes, and the minutes crept up on an hour. Louise had lost track of how many times she’d looked at the door to see if either Rob or Daniel was coming for her. Or better yet, both. This time, finally, she saw Rob. He walked straight toward her, but she couldn’t determine anything from looking at his face.

“Ah, Rob. Are you paying her bill?” asked Spike.

“I think she has assets with which she can pay,” said Rob. Spike laughed. Louise blushed, wondering if the double entendre was intended. Judging from the smirk on Rob’s face, it was. He wouldn’t.

He opened the briefcase and took out the collar she had turned down before.

“You accept my conditions?” she asked, trying not to sound suspicious.

“I do.” He kissed her lips, surprising her. She surrendered to it, opening to admit his tongue, her heart melting.

“Spike, get glasses of champagne. I’ll pay for those,” Rob said when they parted, making some sort of signal to him that she couldn’t see. “Louise, I really think you should be kneeling for this.”

She slipped off the bar stool and onto the hard floor. The tile hurt her knees, but somehow that was appropriate. I can take what you give me, Master. Whatever it is, I’ll do my best. But where is Daniel?

Her heart fell at the thought she might have lost him. Must have. They would come in together, wouldn’t they? Or maybe Daniel was still deciding, sitting in that room alone. She’d never seen him cry, but maybe he was—

Rob touched her shoulder. “Take it easy, darling. It’s going to be all right. I promise you.”

I made my offer, didn’t I? And now I have to stick to it. But Daniel, you’ll always be my friend. And I’ll always love you.

Rob was holding the leather collar in one hand, and the other was caressing her neck. She did want it. She wanted Rob to have control, to push her boundaries. She leaned her head back, making her neck as available to him as she could.

He wrapped it around her, the leather soft. At her throat was a small square of cool metal she hadn’t expected. But it didn’t press on her, even when he buckled the collar in back.

“Do you like your job, Louise?”

  She shook her head. “Why?”

“Daniel said something about that. You’re an accountant, right?”

  “Oh. You two talked?”

“Yes. Give me your eyes, Louise.” He pointed between his own, and she tried to concentrate and focus there. She was his now, she knew that. There was a great deal of peace in that. She could let it all go.

“Good girl. I love you, Lulu.”

She smiled. “I love you too, Rob Randall.”

Her eyes wandered enough to see that Spike had poured three glasses of champagne. Could that mean? Did it?

“Get up on the stool again, Louise.” She hadn’t expected that order, but she was grateful. Her knees definitely ached from the hard floor; rugs and cushions made kneeling a lot easier. She got up, sat, and then swiveled to find Daniel a few feet away. He was wearing his clothes again, and he took two more steps and then knelt on one knee in front of her, opened the small box with the shiny diamond ring, and held it up.

“I accept, Louise. Will you marry me?”

She took the ring out and put it on her ring finger. It fit perfectly and shimmered like starlight. It was so beautiful. “Yes, Daniel. I will marry you.”

“Daniel and I have decided some things,” Rob said. “We could have asked you. But I enjoy telling you more.” He handed out the champagne.

  Uh-oh.

“One is that we’re happy to have you be a kept woman, if you want to quit your job. Or help you go back to school if you want to learn to do something different. But we want you to be happy, and we have enough money that you don’t have to work if you don’t want to.”

Louise nodded. “But then I’d be expected to do the housework, I imagine.”

“We’ll pay for maid service too,” said Daniel. “And we’ll live in my house. Each of us will have our own rooms, but the one big bedroom will be for the three of us to sleep in.”

“And you,” said Rob, “most definitely sleep in the middle.”

She looked between the two men, wondering if she’d made a mistake leaving them alone together in that room. How much had they conspired on? “Do I get a choice about that?”

“No,” said both of them in unison.

I can’t really imagine any place I’d rather be.

  Chapter Ten

  Three months later

The reception was winding down. She’d greeted everyone, danced with half the room, and it was getting near time to make their exit or the photographer was going to make them run through the whole batch of poses yet again. Louise grinned at Daniel, seizing her moment while the photographer was busy with the bridesmaids. “I’ve decided to take your virginity tonight.”

Daniel blinked. He looked great in his tux, a combination of size and elegance that was unusual. “I’m hardly a virgin, Louise.”

Louise nodded. He’ll figure it out eventually. If he doesn’t end up liking it, we don’t have to do it again. Unless I’m feeling sadistic. She somehow doubted Rob would stop taking her in any way he pleased if she said she didn’t like it. He’d try to find a way to make it work. There was comfort in that, knowing she wouldn’t be allowed to disappoint. She was going to provide Daniel the same comfort.

She turned toward him, blocking everyone else’s view, and pretended to straighten his tie. “You wouldn’t say no to your mistress on her wedding night, would you?”

  Daniel smiled. “Of course not.”

Tall, redheaded Kathy tapped her on the shoulder. Kathy looked lovely in her green satin gown. Louise was almost jealous. But for three months, she’d been firmly of the opinion that no one had it better than her.

“I just wanted to ask you, hon, did they mess up on the vows or something? I’ve never heard of the groom being asked to obey before.”

Louise smiled. What to tell, what best to hide? Kathy was good at keeping secrets, however, unlike the other bridesmaid, Zoe. Telling Zoe would be like taking a full-page ad out in the newspaper. The one most annoying thing about her arrangement with Daniel and Rob was that she felt like she couldn’t tell anyone.

“Daniel just likes a guiding hand once in a while,” said Louise. “After the stress of his job, he’d rather be told what to do.”

Kathy glanced at Daniel, who nodded.

“Lucky you,” said Kathy. “Do you have a brother aroun
d here somewhere? I could use a man like that.”

“No brothers, I’m afraid,” Daniel told her. “Two sisters over there by the punch bowl, but I don’t think they’re submissive.”

“Submissive, hmm? You and my darling Louise? That I’d like to see.”

Louise thought of what Rob had told her, that there were a lot of male subs looking for mistresses. Not that they were quite like Daniel, but maybe she could find someone for Kathy at the club. “Maybe we can arrange for you to see, Kathy. Would you like to have Kathy over as a guest, Daniel?”

Daniel’s cheeks pinkened. He’s so cute when he does that.

  “As you wish,” he said.

“Just one more of the whole wedding party,” said the photographer, getting on one knee and looking through his viewfinder, waving people into position. God, but the man was a pest. A family friend of her mother’s, so she hadn’t been able to refuse him. Mom herself was drunk, carrying on with her ex-husband, who had a red nose. The open bar had been at her mother’s insistence too.

Rob walked over, his groomsman’s tux a silver gray in contrast to Daniel’s black. “I think that’s enough, actually,” he said. “Let’s let the happy couple out of here.”

  “Please,” said Louise gratefully.

  “Excellent timing,” agreed Daniel.

The three of them went to the car together, a rented black sedan with tinted windows that was almost as big as a limo. Rob opened the rear door, and Louise picked up the hem of her white dress and climbed in, with Daniel following. Then Rob walked around to the front and got in the driver’s seat. Just a good friend, driving them to the airport. No one knew but the three of them that Rob had tickets for Buenos Aires like they did. Daniel had in fact suggested it, as he had that they spend the first night in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia, before flying south.

If Kathy accepts Daniel, then maybe I can tell her about Rob. She shook her head. Time enough to worry about that later. She had more important things to think about, and the idea of what she was going to do to Daniel had been making her wet all afternoon. It was the perfect wedding night surprise, or so she hoped. “I’m impatient, Rob. Can we stop at the house on the way?”
