“Don’t you dare come!” Reese ordered.
“My God, Reese! You’re driving me crazy!” Victoria moaned.
“Too fucking bad! Hold it!” Reese commanded.
Reese spread Victoria’s legs and started kissing her inner thighs, sinking his fingers into her every now and then.
“Victoria, you’re a goddess. You can give life,” Reese said as he attached his mouth to her clit.
“Reese! I can’t wait. Please!” Victoria said as Reese licked her clit.
Reese stopped and made his way up Victoria’s body. Finding her lips, he kissed her. Victoria was panting and quivering when Reese touched her.
“We’re done for now,” Reese said.
* * * *
“What!” Victoria snapped.
“We’re done. For now. Get dressed.”
“Are you serious?” Victoria demanded.
“What’s the problem?” Reese demanded.
“We’re not going to…”
“How does it feel, Victoria? Now you know what I’ve been going through since I got back. No, fucking suffer, like you’ve made me suffer,” Reese said with a dangerous look.
Victoria saw Reese’s eyes narrow and that don’t fuck with me look return. She was suddenly seized with anger. Suffer? What the fuck is this? She grabbed his shirt and roughly flipped him onto the bed. He was still dressed. He had been stimulating her and denying her a climax for the better part of an hour and now he was done? I don’t think so!
“The hell we are!” Victoria said as she started to unbutton Reese’s jeans.
“Get off me!” Reese ordered.
“You bastard! You aren’t leaving me hanging!” Victoria exclaimed. She freed Reese’s cock and watched it spring to attention. “You want this just as much as I do!” she said.
Reese’s look turned dangerous as his hazel eyes glazed over in lust.
“Then give it to me, baby. Fuck me!” Reese commanded with a snarl.
Victoria slammed down on Reese and heard him roar when she made sudden contact with his hips. He grabbed her ass and slammed her down once more. She could feel her body coming to a climax it hadn’t known in some time. She slammed down again on Reese and squeezed her legs in a death grip around him. She felt her pussy squeeze his cock just as tightly as her legs were squeezing his hips. She threw back her head and screamed. Every fiber in her body seemed to snap as she felt herself shake at the force of her orgasm. She collapsed onto him. He growled and moved her off of him. He roughly flipped her onto her belly and grabbed her hips.
“Get that ass up! You aren’t leaving me hanging.” Reese demanded dangerously.
Victoria lifted her hips. Reese teased her slit with his cock before slamming inside her.
“You belong to me!” Reese snarled as he slammed into Victoria. “When I want you, I want all of you. Is that clear?” he demanded as he slammed into her again.
“Yes…” Victoria panted.
“Fuck what anyone else thinks! You are mine!” Reese snarled.
Reese continued his rough fucking and Victoria’s cries became incoherent. She submitted to his demands and let go of her inhibitions. Once more, she rediscovered the emotional connection they had established long ago. Remembering the ties that bound them together body and soul. Down deep she knew Reese again.
He gripped her hips and plowed into her as he came. Victoria could hear Reese’s quick breathing as he rubbed her back.
“Holy…fuck…” Reese panted.
“Is right,” Victoria breathed as she released her grip on the sheets.
They recovered for a moment as they lay holding each other. Victoria put her head to Reese’s chest and listened to his heartbeat. She smiled as she recalled the last time she had done that. It was the night before he left for Afghanistan. He had reassured her he would be back and he had come home just as he promised. She broke away slightly.
“How do you always know?” Victoria asked.
“Know what?”
“Know what’s wrong and how to fix it.”
“If I tell you, I’ll have to kill you,” Reese said with a smile.
“I think you read minds.”
Later at dinner, Reese broached the subject of Victoria looking for another job and going back to work. She explained that she didn’t want to leave the boys again. He thought for a moment before speaking.
“Why don’t you try and find one like you had before? Working from the house,” Reese said.
“There aren’t very many like that,” Victoria said.
“Sweetness, you’re not challenged. I mean, being a great mom is very important. But you need to be challenged and for you that means work. You spent all that time getting an education, you need to use it,” Reese said.
“I don’t want to leave the boys.”
“Let’s get a housekeeper.”
“No, I don’t think so. You ran off with the last maid you had.”
Reese reached and took Victoria’s hand. “I don’t think I’ll ever find another one like her again.”

Reese and Victoria returned from California just fine and everything seemed to return to normal. They worked out their differences at home with duties and responsibilities. She went back to work as a freelance engineering consultant, deciding she would go nine-to-five when the boys started school. It was almost three months later while they were eating breakfast that she told him they were having a visitor.
“Anna’s coming tomorrow afternoon,” Victoria told Reese.
“Anna? What’s she doing here?” Reese asked.
“I’m not sure. She called and left a message and I haven’t been able to reach her since,” Victoria said.
“Did she ever get that job as a system administrator?” Reese asked.
“Yes. She was sick a few months ago. I told you that, right?” Victoria said.
“No. What happened?” Reese picked up Jake.
“She had some kind of virus. She was in the hospital for a while.”
Reese laughed. “That’s funny, a system administrator getting a virus.”
The next day, when they were putting the kids down for a nap, Victoria informed Reese that Anna would be coming by late that afternoon. Victoria and Reese went downstairs for a while to clean up the house a little before she arrived. Over the monitor they could hear a ruckus start. He went to check on the boys because one of them was making a lot of noise. He didn’t need to ask which one, he already knew.
“Come on, trouble, let’s go downstairs so Josh can sleep,” Reese said as he picked up his son.
“He needs to stay in his bed and sleep,” Victoria said as she passed them on the staircase.
“He can go to bed early,” Reese said, kissing Jake.
Jake was acting up again and wouldn’t take a nap when they put him down, so Reese picked him up and took him downstairs. Even if he didn’t like taking a nap, his brother Josh did. Reese heard Victoria’s cell phone ring and she told him Anna was close and would be coming soon with her new husband.
“Oh? Anna has a new husband? When did that happen?” Reese asked, a little puzzled.
The last time Reese had seen Anna, she didn’t look like she was ready to hit the dating scene. In fact, Anna looked more like she wanted to become one with the nearest wall. It was as if Anna had died with Marc and Alyssa and the shell that was left was an empty body. She didn’t even look the same. He remembered a bright, confident woman who owned the space she walked into. The last time he had seen Anna she barely said five words and looked lost. He was curious about the man who had managed to bring her out of her shell.
As Reese considered Anna, he started to worry. What if this bastard was the wrong kind of guy? What if she hadn’t been thinking straight and gotten herself into something that would be difficult to get out of? He cautiously decided to wait and see. He heard the doorbell and called to Victoria that he would get it. He scooped up Jake, who was walking along the edge of the table, and opened the f
ront door. He couldn’t help but smile because the old Anna was back! She looked fantastic and was looking like her confidence had returned. The guy she was with was looking toward the street. When he turned around and they looked at each other, Reese couldn’t believe who was in the doorway. The man with Anna was obviously just as surprised as he was.
“Thompson?” he asked in surprise.
“Rock?” Reese asked, just as surprised.
“You two know each other?” Anna asked.
“Come in,” Reese said, opening the door wider. “Anna. How are you? I heard you were sick,” he said, hugging Anna with his free arm.
Victoria came out of the kitchen before Anna could answer.
“Anna!” Victoria cried with delight.
The women left the room and Reese looked at Rock O’Malley. He still couldn’t believe what he was seeing. This guy was one of the SEALs he had been working with on all this cyber-terrorism crap. He had also served with him and his SEAL group in Afghanistan. Anna and a SEAL? Reese briefly wondered if Anna really had returned to her old self and how this SEAL was managing it. I know this guy and he’s one smart motherfucker…how the hell did Rock and Anna wind up together? This man would not be as easy to manipulate as Marc Santiago had been.
Rock O’Malley was the new commanding officer of Navy Special Warfare Group Five. This was the guy Reese was working with to set up the new Force Recon Unit going into Texas to support Joint Cyber Command. He knew this man’s tolerance for crap was low and the old Anna was an expert at screwing with people. He couldn’t stop wondering how these two had ever come together and married each other.
Reese led Rock into the living area of the house and set Jake down. He thought about Anna and all she had been through. She had changed since the last time he had seen her and she looked truly happy. He watched Jake and thought about how much his life had changed since Victoria had come into it. Through all the ups and downs in his life he knew that he had found a solid foundation with Victoria. No matter what happened they were a team and were meant to be together, so Reese knew they would always survive and come out stronger. He sincerely hoped Anna had found the same in Rock O’Malley. He smiled to himself. He glanced at Rock how in the hell did this happen? Knowing Anna, and for that matter, Rock, it had to be one hell of a story and he couldn’t wait to hear it.
“You’re Anna’s new husband?” Reese asked.
“Yes, sir, I am,” Rock said.
