by HeVans to Becky

“Are you in pain?” Becky asked, quickly leaning forward to look at their backs. “Where’s that suturing thing?”

As she bent forward, her stomach grumbled loudly and they all laughed. Nyal got up to get the suturing wand, as Ishme spoke.

“I think I need to feed you,” said Ishme.

“I am kind of hungry. No, actually, I’m starving.”

Nyal healed Ishme’s back and then Ishme did the same for him. Together, they presented their wings to Becky.

“These are for you to display in our home,” they said to her.

“This means were officially married, right?” asked Becky.

  “Yes, we are now Joined.”

“Good. Because I’m pretty sure that I’m pregnant. I can’t wait to get started having a family of my own,” she said.

Getting down from the bed, she looked forward to sharing the rest of their lives together. It was going to be a very good life. She couldn’t wait to get started.

  Recipe for HeVanly Stuffed Crescents

  HeVanly Stuffed Crescents

(This should be used as a picnic by the fire with the person/persons of your choice.)

  Ingredients

2 packages bake and serve crescent rolls

Fresh spinach (depends on how much you are making, I use 1 cup, chopped)

  Bacon crumbles

1 or 2 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts

1 jar of your favorite Alfredo sauce

  1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan and/or Romano cheese

Salt, pepper, dried basil (to taste)

  Directions

  1. Preheat oven per the instructions on the crescent roll package, usually 350° F.

  2. Thoroughly rinse the spinach, dry, and then chop into small pieces. You’ll need about a teaspoon of chopped spinach per crescent.

  3. It is best to cook the bacon earlier; one or two pieces are plenty. It should be well cooked so it crumbles easily. Or you can mince it with a sharp knife.

  4. Boil the chicken and then dice into one-inch cubes. This can also be done ahead of time.

  5. Use a cookie sheet and if it isn’t non-stick, spray it with a non-stick spray in preparation.

  6. Combine diced chicken and Alfredo sauce in a bowl. Only use enough sauce to lightly coat the chicken. Add the bacon and chopped spinach and stir. Add more sauce as needed to keep moist and clump ingredients together.

Add salt, pepper, and dried basil to taste - I usually add a teaspoon of each.

  7. Line up all your ingredients and open the package of crescent rolls. Peel off the first piece of crescent-shaped dough and seal together two sides on the large end to form a small cup.

  8. Put a little shredded Mozzarella in the dough cup.

  9. Use a small spoon to scoop chicken mixture into the dough cup.

  10. Add a little more shredded Mozzarella and seal up remaining side; dough will stretch.

  11. Place on cookie sheet and sprinkle with grated Parmesan or Romano cheese.

  12. Once all the crescents are filled, place cookie sheet into oven and set timer for 12 minutes. It will take from 12-14 minutes to bake to a golden brown.
