I managed to find a place to hide one of the guns and the two knives which looked they could take me apart with a few movements. It would take someone who knew how to use them. I had to make them believe everything was perfectly fine and still see if I could make them slip under pressure. I had to be careful and doing anything to turn them against me would be my last and final act on this earth.
I grabbed the two pills, and I looked at them wondering why she was so caring about mentioning them in the first place. I wasn’t going to take the risk, and I put them in my pocket. I made my way upstairs with one of those guns strapped to the inside of my thigh with some duct tape I had found in the kitchen. It was a little awkward, but I came to the conclusion I needed to be ready for just about anything.
“I was wondering what was taking you so long. I would be remiss if I didn’t say you look fantastic tonight. I’m sure Casper would agree. Casper, don’t be so rude. Don’t you think your lady is looking exceptional?” Rita said as she grabbed Casper by the hair and made him nod his head despite the fact he was in no shape to do it himself.
“Rita, don’t put words in the boy’s mouth. He can obviously speak for himself, or maybe he can’t,” Wes said as he picked up Casper’s hand and put his thumb up like he was playing him like a puppet. It reminded me of the movie Weekend at Bernie’s but on a more disturbing level.
“Don’t worry that pretty little head. You’ll be joining him shortly. Those pills I had you take are not exactly what you think they are. It should be hitting you very soon. You were both so gullible to believe we didn’t have other motives for bringing you out here. Our job was to get close. We are paid very well for our services. Let’s just say we fell into this vocation. It really does suit us. You look scared, and you should be. It would’ve been better had you not gotten yourself involved in his life. If you had just left him to us, then you would be safe, and he would be getting what he deserves,” Rita said as she walked over to me and held my elbow. I pretended to stumble.
“The poor girl doesn’t have her sea legs. Perhaps, you’ll find them at the bottom of the ocean. We really do love what we do. It’s something we can do together. I am glad we didn’t have to get messy, and it would have taken a lot to scrub blood off the hull. It’s a good thing you took my suggestion about putting drugs in the champagne. They didn’t even question the reason why the bottle was open when I came up here. I know if I were in this situation I would be more aware of my surroundings,” Wes said as I sat down beside Casper with my head lulling from side to side and making it look like I was having a hard time keeping my eyelids open.
“There’s no sense in fighting it. Two of those pills would knock out a rhino. It’s a wonder you’re still standing let alone being able to put up any kind of fight. Just let it go. I’m getting kind of annoyed you are taking all the fun out of this,” Rita said while she held me by the hair until my eyes were closed. I fell forward breathing heavy with long deep breaths to make it look like I was affected by the pills I didn’t take.
“I know we should just dump them overboard, but I think I would like to have something to eat. Do you catch my drift? We can always come back up here and dispose of them after the sun goes down. Besides, we don’t want to take the risk of anybody with a high powered pair of binoculars seeing what we’re doing. We’re pretty much out here in the middle of nowhere, but you can never prepare for everything,” Rita said.
“I think I have what you need. You know how I get after a job is completed. The money is wired to our account. He’s going to be very happy when he finds out we were able to do what the others couldn’t. I do have to say I feel a little bit bad for what we’re doing to them. We could have been friends. It would’ve been nice to have another couple, but we made our bed, and we have to lie in it,” Wes said as I heard their footsteps leaving and both sets slowly diminished in audio down the stairs.
I lifted my head, and I reached underneath my dress very carefully to pull off the tape with as little noise as possible. I had no idea how to use this thing, but it was better to have it than not to have it. They would soon find they were missing the equipment of their trade. I was kind of hoping they were going to let slip the person they were working for. There was a life raft on board, and I contemplated using it, but there was no way I could outrace a boat with this kind of muscle underneath the hood. They would easily overpower us and might even use the boat as a deadly weapon to send us to our maker.
I looked at Casper, and he was totally out of it. His glass of champagne had shattered with the little bit at the bottom still splattered against the deck. I slapped him gently across the face to see if I could wake him from whatever substance was currently running upstream against his adrenaline. I slapped him a few times and still there was no sign of him coming out of it.
I remembered something I’d seen on television about the safety. It took a moment for me to find it and then I placed it in the position where I could just point and shoot. I didn’t have the silencer. I wasn’t going to need it out here in the middle of nowhere.
I got up slowly holding my breath, knowing the only way out of here was over their dead bodies. I had stated emphatically I wasn’t sure I could come back from killing anyone. This was going to test me in a way I had never been tested in my life. I wasn’t sure I was up to the task, but there was really only one way to find out. I had to keep reminding myself they were going to dump us overboard and let us drown.
“Here is to another payday. I think you deserve the wedding of your dreams. I want us to renew our vows in Bali with the locals throwing rice or whatever they have around this place. I also think after we get remarried we should go back to our estate in England. I’m feeling a bit nostalgic, and I would like to capture the moment where I saw you for the first time,” Wes said as I listened from the top of the stairs to how they thought they were free and clear. I was going to be a wrench in their plans, but not before I listened to more of their conversation.
“You know when we got married it was a justice of the peace. I would like to make this special with both of us completely naked on a cliff. If we’re lucky, we might be able to parlay this into a job at the same time. If we can do this, then we can have our marriage and then kill the guests. I don’t know about you, but I feel slightly insulted they took the bait so easily. I was actually looking forward to seeing their faces as we placed the gun to the back of their heads. They would be shaking so much they might have an accident. Wouldn’t that have been delicious? I know we promised we wouldn’t take anything, but I may have been a bad girl,” Rita said letting Wes know she had taken something, but how much it was going to affect her reflexes was anybody’s guess.
“I may have been a bad boy myself. I think I might have taken a bit more than usual. I see the way you are looking at me, and you are not going to be able to keep your eyes open for very much longer. Let’s just kill them now before we lose what is left of our faculties. The man who hired us should get what his money paid for. He wants confirmation, and I believe the video evidence will suffice,” Wes said as I heard a thud and wasn’t sure what to make of it.
I heard nothing for a full minute and it might not seem like much, but it felt like an eternity to me. I decided to risk it, and I made my way one step at a time down into the galley. I ducked down to see neither one of them was where I had thought they were going to be. The picnic basket was left unattended, and I heard what sounded like a long drawn out moan coming from one of the back rooms. Was it possible they had gotten carried away and decided to add to the euphoria getting physical? I thought they might be pushing it, but they must have thought we were never going to see the cold light of day again.
“I love how your skin feels and the colors I make with my hands. It’s like living in our own little world. I know we said we should kill them right away, but I think this was a better idea. I love how your nipples are so fucking hard I have this desire to suck both of them at the same time,” Wes said as he let his passion unfur
l in a way quite visible from where I was standing in the doorway.
“Yes…bite them…bite them hard and make me hurt like you know I love to. This is our reward for a job well done. I want you to take it out and let me see you move it around in a circle. I want to see those same lights you spoke of,” Rita said with her head thrown back and her chest thrust out to get the sensation of his mouth and those drugs working at the same time.
“Damn, I forget how hot you get after something like this. I know we only take jobs once a year, but for him, we had to make the exception. When Nash Miles asks you to do something, you don’t hesitate for even a second. The difference between getting paid and getting a bullet in the head is not very far apart. It’s interesting people think of him as a humanitarian, but mostly, he’s the kingpin of a very dangerous organization. I don’t know what Casper did to get on his bad side, but I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes,” Wes said revealing the name and it was not a name I was going to forget.
The only thing left was whether or not I was going to kill them or let them finish what they started. The drugs they had taken turned out to be some very powerful hallucinogens. They were flying high on whatever drug was their choice of pleasure.
“I need you so badly. Nash can wait for us to send him confirmation. It’s not like there is any hurry. The money will be there when we send him the photograph of the proof of their demise. I know he didn’t ask for Angel, but I think he’ll be pleasantly surprised we were willing to give him a freebie. That might make it easier for him to hire us again. Has your cock always been that fucking huge? I mean it doesn’t seem natural, and I can’t believe I have ever been able to take something like this,” Rita said with me looking in with curiosity to see he was sporting an average 7 inches at best.
It was nothing like what Casper possessed, but maybe the drug was giving her other ideas. She rolled him onto his back and then climbed on top of him. She didn’t even stop with the lone figure standing not more than 5 feet away from her. She looked up, but she didn’t seem to recognize I was even there. She slammed down heavily on top of him, taking every inch he had with a howl of delight; it made me want to put my hands over my ears.
“I don’t think I could ever have regular sex again. This is so much better, and it always leaves me with my skin tingling afterward. I love the way you fill me up. There’s no room for anything else, yet you’re able to fit two of your fingers side by side,” Rita said as she bounced up and down with her breasts making for quite a spectacle.
“I love the way your hot sauce drips down the length of me and covers my balls. I love the way you hold me tightly. I’m sure you want me to blow my load all over the place. If I could get up and carry you, I would take you up to where they are. I think it would be a real thrill to have sex with you in front of them. We did mention it before, but we never did find a way to implement it,” Wes said as they were really sweating up a storm. The sheets had come undone from the mattress, and it was curled around them.
Rita had her hands ripping into those very same sheets, and I don’t think she even recognized she was doing anything out of the ordinary. She wrapped the strands around her throat and over her face so that everything she saw was obscured by the fabric covering her eyes.
“I’m going to cum, and you know exactly what that means. I hope you know I never mean to hurt you, but it’s out of my hands… YESSSS,” She was shaking like a leaf, and then her eyes came open, and she slammed down her fist so damn hard I thought she was trying to resuscitate him.
She continued to do that, and I could tell there were going to be some very deep bruises after she was done. She used her fingernails to scratch his chest, and she slapped him repeatedly leaving red welts; they were going to take some time to heal. He didn’t seem to care, and it only brought him an inch away from joining her.
He suddenly wrapped his hands around her waist, lifted himself from the bed and unloaded what looked like more than she could handle.
They looked at each other for a second with smiles on their faces and then they fell forward with him landing on top of her. They both lost consciousness. I walked up behind them with my hand outstretched and my finger on the trigger. I felt the cold hard steel in my hands, and it seemed so impersonal to kill somebody like this when there were far better ways to do this be more personal.
Chapter 29
I pulled them apart with the stickiness of their groins leaving me something I was never going to be able to forget about. I looked at them lying there, and they didn’t seem like killers on the surface. I could still use the life raft, but there was still the possibility they would wake up and track us down easily. I couldn’t take the chance, but I didn’t have it in me to put one in between their eyes.
I had to think things through, and one thing came to mind. I didn’t necessarily have to kill them, but they would have to deal with the consequences of their actions.
I dragged her not even caring I was bouncing her head off the floor or on the stairs as I brought her up to the deck. It took more than I thought it was going to and I still had the heavy weight of Wes to manhandle.
I checked on Casper and still there didn’t seem to be an end to his long slumber. I checked his pulse, and it was very strong. It made me feel a little bit better he wasn’t dead. I took the precaution of tying Rita up with the very links of the sheet she had torn in her passion filled moment.
It took almost 5 minutes to get Wes off the bed and another 20 minutes to get him to the stairs. I had to sit there and get my wind back with my lungs burning and my chest on fire. There were droplets of sweat falling from my hair. I couldn’t allow this to deter me from what I was going to do.
I took hold of him by the hands. I finally got him to where he was lying beside Rita and the life raft. I put them inside, and I lowered them by crank until they were on the water. While they were getting busy, the boat had drifted off course, and it appeared they had already lifted the anchor. They would have no idea where to go. I left them with the bottle of champagne clutched in his fist and two of the pills she had given me in her hand. It would be a painful reminder they had messed with the wrong person. I might have to worry about looking over my shoulder, but I just couldn’t kill them.
It took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to get the boat moving. In that time, I looked out, and I realized I could barely see them drifting aimlessly with the current. I would have given anything to hear what they had to say to each other after they woke up from their drug induced state. Would they blame each other, or would they put the blame where it belonged, squarely on my shoulders? They probably wouldn’t even think I had done something like this. They would automatically put their thoughts on Casper and the possibility he had caught them at a most inopportune time.
I pressed down the throttle. I felt the waves crashing against the hull, as I used the GPS unit to make my way back to the estate. I very carefully brought it next to the dock, but I underestimated the space I would need, and I crashed into it. It was then that Casper took a deep breath. It made me almost jump through the ceiling of the cabin.
“What the hell happened,” He said while looking around with confusion and puzzlement at the reason why I was driving and how we had gotten back to the estate.
“I know you’re not going to believe this, but I need you to hear me out. They were not your friends. They drugged you with the champagne, and I was lucky enough I was sick to my stomach. I stumbled on their little plan. They were celebrating prematurely, and they used too much of their own product. They were having way too much fun at our expense. I had the opportunity to kill them, but I couldn’t do it. I hope you’re not disappointed in me. You don’t see them here because I put them on the life raft and set them out to sea. I feel sick about doing that, but they brought it on themselves. I know their faces are going to haunt me, even though I have no idea if they survived or if they succumbed to the sun beating down on them. I didn’t even leave them with a bottle of water. I got a little
vindictive and gave them a taste of their own medicine. I left them with the bottle of champagne they drugged you with and the two pills they attempted to give me. I hope this is the last we see of them, but there really is no way to know for sure,” I said as he looked at me and I could tell he was visibly upset about this latest turn of events.
I could tell Casper was not very happy by this latest revelation and how easily they manipulated him into feeling like they were friends. It was unfortunate it had to come down to this, but Rita and Wes really weren’t the people we thought they were. I’d made up my mind I was going to do something drastic, but I never thought I was capable of actually going through with it. They were human beings, but I’m sure Casper would have had something to say on the score. They did drug him with the very champagne they were celebrating with. It was just my luck I was sick. I didn’t think of it before, but now it was started to hit me; I was this close to joining him at the bottom of the sea.
“I’m still a little fuzzy around the edges about what happened, but I’m getting the basic idea. Those two couldn’t be trusted as far as we could throw them. I’m not sure it was a good idea to keep them alive. If they are who you say they are, then something like being set adrift in the sea is not going to keep them down for long. I do know Nash Miles, but I always thought he was a man of honor. For him to stoop this low means he had to take something personally and I have no earthly idea of what that could be,” Casper said as he tried to get up and felt like his whole world was spinning around him.
