Adam sat up, allowing his dick to slide from its warm resting place with a slight pop. J.J. jumped up and hurried down the hall towards the bathroom. Adam couldn’t help but giggle as he noticed a steady stream of his cum sliding down J.J.’s leg.
J.J. looked over his shoulder, a hard scowl on his face. “Yeah, yeah. Hardee-har-har. If you don’t hurry up, I’m gonna leave your hairy ass here. Now get a move on.”
Adam laughed as he hurried after his husband to get cleaned up.
* * * * *
Adam snatched up a pair of sneakers before sitting on the edge of the bed.
“Damn, Adam, would you hurry up?”
“Christ on a raft, J.J., can I at least tie my shoes? Your shirt’s buttoned wrong, by the way.”
J.J. looked down and indeed he’d buttoned up his shirt crooked. “Crap.”
“Okay, I’m ready,” Adam declared as J.J. fixed his shirt.
“We can take my car, it has the baby seat in it already,” J.J. said, grabbing his keys off the hook near the back door.
Adam busted out laughing. “Hun, we’re not going to be bringing the baby home tonight.”
J.J. stopped. “Of course not. What was I thinking? You might better drive. Not sure I can right now.”
Adam backed his truck out of the driveway with J.J. nagging him to hurry. “Babe, she’s in good hands. Andrea has been down this road before.”
“You’re right. I’m being silly.”
“Just a little bit.” Adam reached out and took J.J.’s hand, bringing to his lips. “It will be fine. You’ll see.”
“I hope so,” J.J. replied, not sounding so sure.
Once Adam had the truck parked, J.J. was out the door like a shot. “Which way?”
Adam grabbed J.J.’s hand. “Come on babe, I’ve been here enough times. I think I could almost find the way blindfolded.”
Sure enough, Adam took them directly to the maternity ward. When they asked about Andrea Sutton, they were given a room number.
“Are you sure?” Adam asked the nurse at the reception desk. “We only got the call—”
“Yes, Sir. I am sure. Room 224.”
J.J. looked at Adam, about to panic.
“Come on, hun, let’s go see what’s going on before you flip out.”
The pair hurried down the hall to the room number they were given. The door was closed so Adam knocked.
“Come in,” Adam’s brother, Luke called out.
The pair walked in to see Andrea in bed, holding the baby, Luke standing close by.
“Well hey, you two,” Andrea greeted them, a huge smile on her face.
“You…that…” J.J. stammered, glued to the floor.
Adam grabbed him by the shoulders, afraid he was going to pass out.
“Wouldn’t you like to see your baby?” Andrea asked the pair who were standing just inside the room.
J.J didn’t say a word. Adam propelled him to the side of the bed. Without saying a word Andrea handed the baby to J.J.
Luke leaned over and pushed the little cap off the baby’s head. “Got a head full of Sutton hair there, Bro.”
Adam looked at his son for the very first time, held in his husband’s arms.
“He’s perfect,” Andrea pointed out. “All ten fingers and all ten toes. I swear he looks just like Trevor when he was born.”
“May I come in?” Maggie Sutton asked as she peeked around the door.
“Sure, Ma. Come on in and meet your newest grandson,” Luke answered.
Maggie came in, followed by Thad. “That was fast, Andrea. I swear you spit ‘em out like watermelon seeds.”
“Mom, I swear I didn’t know if we were even going to make it to the hospital. Once he made up his mind he was ready, he just about crawled out on his own.” Andrea laughed.
Maggie stepped in front of Luke to get a view of the baby. “He’s beautiful. Looks like Trevor did.”
“I was just saying that, Mom,” Andrea commented, still looking at the dazed look on J.J.’s face. He was still staring at the sleeping child in his arms.
Thad snapped a picture of Adam, Luke, Maggie and J.J. as he held the baby.
“What time was he born?” Maggie asked.
“Twelve-thirty-five,” Andrea answered. “I guess I have a knack for delivering Christmas babies.”
Maggie laughed. “It will make throwing birthday parties easier since his cousin also shares the same birthday.”
“Ma, why don’t you have a seat? It’s the only chair in here, so take a load off,” Luke suggested.
“Don’t mind if I do.”
“Still don’t know how you get it that he looks like Trevor,” Luke frowned as he leaned over J.J.’s shoulder to get a better look. He froze, suddenly sniffing. He turned his head and started snickering.
J.J. looked at him, baffled.
“Dude, you have cum in your hair,” Luke whispered in his ear.
J.J. stood there with a horrified look on his face. Thad chose that moment to take another photo.
* * * * *
“Adam, why do you insist on having that picture on the mantel? I mean honestly,” J.J. glared at his husband.
“I love this picture,” he answered as he dusted it off, along with the other pictures of Adam Junior. “Actually, I think it is my favorite.”
J.J. shook his head. He looked down at the nursing baby in his arms.
Adam continued dusting before everyone arrived for the birthday and a half party. “Which one is your favorite, hun?”
J.J. walked over to look at the array of pictures. “The one of the three of us in front of the Christmas tree, the day we brought him home.”
“Yeah, that’s one of my faves too.” Adam snickered. “That’s a Christmas I won’t soon forget. You standing there holding Junior there with cum in your hair.”
J.J. tried to give Adam a hard stare but couldn’t without cracking up as well. “How was I supposed to know? You sure as hell didn’t tell me.”
“You were rushing me so I didn’t have time to examine your…your cum-ffure.”
“You are such a juvenile sometimes, ya know?” J.J. couldn’t help but laugh as well. “Anyway, it’s a ridiculous picture and I can’t believe you leave it out in plain sight. People are always asking what was up with my expression.”
“Anyone home?” a voice yelled out.
“In the living room, Thad.”
“Hey, guys.” Thad walked over and tickled Junior’s belly a bit. “Adam, is it still okay to borrow your truck to go pick up Jason?”
“Sure, buddy. Just be careful, okay?”
“You know I will.” Thad caught the keys Adam tossed him. “I’ll see you guys over at the house in a bit.”
“Of course. As soon as our little glutton finishes this bottle we’ll be out the door.” J.J. smiled at the young man before him. “See you there.”
Thirty minutes later, J.J. parked his car behind Adam’s truck in front of the family home. There were at least fifteen cars parked along the street and in the drive way.
“Looks like a big turnout,” Adam remarked as he got Adam Junior out of his car seat.
“It does.” J.J. grabbed the diaper bag and another bag of miscellaneous baby gear. “Have you met Thad’s boyfriend, Jason yet?”
Adam looked over the roof of the car. “No, not yet.”
“I didn’t think so.”
“Why you say it like that?” Adam asked as they walked up the sidewalk.
“You’ll see. By the way, how come you always get to carry Junior while I get to be the pack mule with all this stuff?”
Adam smiled broadly. “Because he is closest to my side of the car.”
The front door opened and Luke’s three boys came rushing out, each with squirt guns, all trying to soak the other one.
“I see the party’s started,” Adam laughed as he walked in the front door. “Ma!”, he bellowed. “Where are you?”
“Adam, I’m not deaf, you know,” Maggie said, shaking her he
ad as she came out of the kitchen. She held up her cheek for the traditional kiss from her son and J.J. “Y’all come on in. Most everyone is out back. Luke’s trying to set the neighborhood on fire I think with that grill.”
Adam chuckled. “I’ll go reign him in for you, Ma.” He handed the baby to her before going through the house, yelling before he got out the back door, “Bro, you’re gonna have the fire department here in a minute!”
J.J. stood there smiling, still holding the two bags.
Maggie looked at her son-in-law. “That’s what life is, J.J. Memories like these is what makes it all worth living. You just remember moments like these when times get hard.”
He looked at Maggie, who was more of a mother to him than he’d ever known. “I know, Mom, I know. I am truly blessed and I treasure each new memory every day.”
