A smile broke out on her face and she lifted one leg to entwine it with his, letting her toes tickle up and down his calf.

  “Don’t move.”

  “I’m not moving!”

Connor let his brows wander up on his forehead, stating quite clearly that she was moving her leg.

Jaidyn rolled her eyes. “Well, I’m not moving the important parts. I like you just where you–ohh!” She moaned and pressed her head back into the mattress, a clear sign that she must have felt him harden in her again.

Connor chuckled at her immediate response.

Licking her lips, she let her thumb caress his cheekbone. Connor thought he saw something like mirth flicker in her eyes for a moment.

“Hm …” Her smile turned to an impish grin. “I still think I could have done better than a rich merchant like you.”

Naughty, playful little pixie. Connor had no idea where this was supposed to lead, but he played along, interested in what was on her mind now. “How so?”

Her fingers ran through his hair, massaging the back of his head. “You see, I do believe I attracted a dashing, wicked sea captain’s attention.”

“Really? A dashing, wicked sea captain?”

“Yes.” She gave a jerky nod. “He always expected me to address him as ‘sir.’ And he had a treasure chest too.”

Connor felt his slowly hardening cock promptly stand to attention. “That sounds wicked, indeed.”

She hummed as she must have felt him stretching her again, her eyes fluttering closed for a moment. “Oh yes, very wicked.”

Connor rolled his hips, starting to stroke her deliciously slowly yet again. “All this talk about wickedness …”

With a moan, Jaidyn arched her body into him, whispering, “Gives you ideas?”

  “Wicked ideas,” Connor confirmed.

Biting her lower lip, Jaidyn apparently struggled to keep her mind on the conversation. “How wicked?”

Reaching up, Connor grasped the velvet rope hanging from one bedpost to hold the brocade curtain back. Swiftly capturing her wrist in it, he pulled the rope tight and grinned. “Very wicked.”
