  Chapter One: Draylah Montana

  Family night… December…

“Okay, what do we do inside of the movie?” I squatted down to be eye level with Frederick and Camellia. They looked so adorable bundled up in their puffy coats; Camellia’s was pink of course, and Frederick’s was a dark blue.

“Shhhh!” They simultaneously put their little fingers to their lips, and I nodded with a smile before rubbing their heads full of shiny, curly hair. I scooped Frederick up, just as Ricky picked up Camellia.

Tonight, Ricky, Lily, the twins, and I were going to see a movie. Lily had been begging to see Wonder, and tonight we’d finally given in. Ricky used to hate going to see kids’ films, but now he was used to the idea. I smiled at the thought as we trucked it down the hallway of theaters inside of Arc Light.

“I cannot wait!” Lily screeched, making me chuckle as Ricky held the door open for me and her as I held Frederick in my arms.

We bought Frederick and Camellia their own seats, because we didn’t want anyone sitting next to us and them bothering that person. My babies were pretty well behaved but very curious and adventurous, so it was nothing for me to catch them digging into someone’s purse or eating someone else’s popcorn.

As soon as I placed Frederick in his seat between Lily and I, he stood up in it to stare at the people sitting behind us.

“He’s so cute!” the girl behind me squeaked, and Frederick gave her a subtle smirk, clearly admiring the cute young girl.

I quickly made him sit down and helped him out of his bubble jacket, before placing some popcorn in a little brown box in front of him.

“That’s Ricky AK and Draylah,” I heard a girl behind us whisper, and I prayed like hell she didn’t spread the word any further.

Ricky and I could hardly go any damn where without people being in our faces or paparazzi taking pictures of us. But at least the movie tickets and snacks we got were for free.

There weren’t many things Ricky and I didn’t get for free. Even expensive brands would send me stuff free of charge, which I didn’t mind at all. I never worried about an item being sold out or hard to obtain because I always got a free one in the mail; Ricky too. It was either that, or we’d get early access to stuff that hadn’t been released yet. People seeing it on us was promotion for these brands, so they didn’t mind. It was easy as hell to stay rich, but Ricky and I did spend here and there.

“Damn he smells good,” the other replied referring to Ricky, before they both giggled.

  “Shit, her too.”

Thankfully, the girls didn’t bother us until the movie was over, and because of that, Ricky and I both happily took pictures with them and a few others who eventually recognized us. The theater wasn’t too full at all, so we weren’t being ambushed. We’d gone on a weekday purposely because we knew it would be less crowded.

After a bunch of pictures, the five of us left out to the car, and once Lily and the twins were buckled in, Ricky and I got into the driver’s side and passenger side respectively, before pulling off. The twins had fallen asleep thirty minutes into the movie and hadn’t woken up, so I was ecstatic.

“Mommy, Daddy, can I have an Instagram?” Lily questioned.

“Hell no,” Ricky replied instantaneously, causing me to laugh.

“An Instagram for what, Lily?” I inquired.

“Post pictures and videoooss. I already have my name; Lily AK.”

“Nah, baby girl. Instagram is for hoes, aight? It’s for them bitches with build-a-bear ass bodies and wide funky puss—”

“Okay!” I cut Ricky’s vulgar ass off, as Lily laughed heartily. “Maybe when you become a big girl, okay?” I looked over my shoulder at my beautiful daughter, and she smiled with a nod.

“Well, I know I want stilettos for Christmas,” Lily added.

“The fuck? Who the fuck she been around?” Ricky hissed, glancing to me as I grinned. “You don’t need no fucking stilettos, Lily. That’s for bitches that swing around the pole.”

  “But Mommy wears them!”

“Bruh, she about to give a nigga a heart attack. Next she gon’ be asking for pole dancing classes. Let me find out one of them crusty ass niggas in her school is in her ear. I’m gon’ knock him and his pops’ muthafuckin’ block off.”

“Relax, baby.” I laughed. “When you become a grown up, Lily, you can wear some stilettos, okay? Right now, they’d hurt your little feet.”

“And no daughter of mine is gon’ be out in these streets with Flintstone feet, aight?” Ricky looked in the rearview mirror, and Lily chuckled with a nod.

We continued en route to the house, and I turned up the radio so we could listen to some music. I didn’t want it too loud because my twins would wake up if you even stepped on a cracker. “Motorsport” by Migos was on, so I began to bob my head a little bit, singing along as Ricky whipped through the dark city of Los Angeles.

“Ride that dip like a BMX, no nigga wanna be my ex…” Lily sang along, getting some of the words wrong. But before I could silently thank God that she didn’t hear what Cardi had actually talked about riding, the car swerved.

  SCURRRR!!

“Ricky!” I shouted as he pulled over abruptly into a no parking zone.

“What the fuck she just say?”

“Did you seriously pull the car over like that over a song?” I was baffled, but laughter was still seeping out.

“She want Instagram, stilettos, and now she rapping Cardi B? Nah, fuck that bullshit.” He finally put the car in park. “I need a minute. I think I’m having a fucking heart attack.”

“Ricky, you are so dramatic.” I burst into laughter watching the distress on his face as his hand covered his broad chest.

“Let me find out that school she at is breeding thotties instead of scholars. I’m gon’ pop every teacher in that bitch. Hand me that water. Fuck.”

“Baby.” I snickered as I handed him the bottle of water, in which he took down dramatically.

“Lily, baby, I gotta throw ya bike out when we get to the crib.”

  “Whyyy!” she whined.

“You don’t ride shit no more. You know what happens when you ride something too much?”

  “No. What, Daddy?”

“Some shit will crawl up in ya ass and eat you alive from the inside out.”

  “Ah!” Lily screeched.

“Ricky!” I chortled heartily, hitting him in his hard stomach.

“And you’ll never have a fucking ex. Any nigga you bring around is getting clocked. Aight, baby?”

“Aight.” She nodded. “But what’s an ex?”

  “Some shit you’ll never have.”

“What will I do without my bike, Daddy?”

“I’ll get you some roller skates or some shit.” Ricky put the car back in drive and pulled from the curb.

  “Okay!” Lily shouted excitedly.

  “Why are you thro
wing out her bike?” I shouted in a whisper.

“She not riding a fucking bike, a muthafuckin’ wave, a horse, and she lucky I’m letting her ride in this damn car. I don’t ever wanna hear about her riding shit. And turn this bullshit off,” he fussed, cutting the radio off as I giggled while massaging his shoulder to calm his nerves.

I wasn’t sure Ricky would be able to last when both Lily and Camellia got to be older women. The poor men that they’d bring around wouldn’t stand a chance either.

When we got home, Lily and I made some hot chocolate for everyone except Ricky. After Ricky and I put the twins to bed while Lily had her bath, Ricky read her a bedtime story until she dozed off.

“You better not throw my baby’s bike out. I paid good money to have it customized.” I straddled Ricky as he laid on his back in the bed.

He was sexy as hell when he had the low-cut facial hair, but that low scruffy beard he’d been rocking for the past few years had him looking even finer. I didn’t know I could be this attracted to somebody, and every day it only heightened. He was so grown and sexy, but still fun as hell. He was the same man I’d met years ago in that studio, but with a little more mature, grown man swag, and I was fawning.

“You hear me?” I asked, watching his perfect teeth sink into his plump bottom lip as his hands gripped my hips and ass. I ran my fingers over his chest, outlining where he’d gotten my name tatted years back.

  “You wet.”

  “Focus, Ricky.”

Rolling me onto my back and placing my legs onto his shoulders, he entered me, filling me up and making a breathy moan escape my lips.

“Cum on this dick first.” He growled against my lips before slowly sucking them.

  Fuck that damn bike.

  ***

  A couple days later…

Tonight, Ricky’s grandmother wanted to spend time with the twins and Lily, which was perfect because there was a Christmas festival tonight. It was like a huge ass carnival, and there would be some performances too. It was similar to Coachella but a little more urban, and the tickets were a little less expensive at $400. I was so excited to have a good time with my man and my friends.

Once I was dressed in some jeans and a black bandeau top that had lace stitching down the middle, I slipped into my black and brown Louis Vuitton desert platform boots, and then stood up to look over myself in the mirror. By the time I had my jewelry on, Ricky came out of his closet looking simple but sexy as usual. He was dressed in a white Clippers jersey with blue and red writing, light blue jeans that sagged perfectly, and some Balenciaga sneakers. His ice was minimal but still shined like always, and you could smell his Maison Margiela cologne from miles away. It wasn’t too strong at all though, just very pleasant and alluring.

“Fuck you smiling at?” he quizzed, sipping some of his bottled water before twisting the cap back on and seductively stroking his beard. Okay, maybe it wasn’t seductive, but it was to me. My eyes lingered over his strong caramel arms that were covered in tattoos.

  “Nothing, nigga,” I snapped.

“Where the fuck is the rest of ya shirt, Dray?”

Looking down at my bandeau top, I brought my eyes back up to his as he neared me. He towered over my frame like the leaning tower of Pisa, eyes low as he scanned me.

“This is the shirt, baby. It’s gonna be hot and stuff when I’m dancing.”

I was on the edge of my seat, waiting to hear his rebuttal. But to my surprise, all he said was, “Aight. Only ‘cause my name is big as hell on your lower back, and you look good as fuck. I do like to show off a little bit,” and kissed my lips before taking my hand into his. On our way down the stairs toward the front door, he said, “But if I catch a nigga looking at you for too long, it’s a wrap for cuz.”

“I know.” I chuckled, praying the niggas that looked only did so on the low.

When we got to his truck, he opened the passenger door for me like always. It amazed me that after so long he’d never forgotten to. Most times niggas only did shit to get you, then would stop doing it and show their true colors. So, I guess being a gentleman was in Ricky’s blood… somewhere… for certain people.

“So chivalrous.” I smirked as I slipped into the leather seat with AK stitched in the headrest.

“Only for you. The hoes ride in the trunk of the Range.” He nodded towards his Range Rover which was parked tonight.

Chortling, I replied, “They better not be riding in any of your damn cars.”

“Course not.” He smirked sexily and nodded to my feet, telling me to put them inside so he could close the door.

Once Ricky got in, we were on our way to our destination, and about five minutes into the drive, I got a text from Virginia.

  V: Look, lmao!

I read the text and clicked the link attached, which sent me to Instagram. Within the text thread, I saw what looked like Tabitha, but I wasn’t sure. I also wasn’t sure why Virginia would be sending me something about that bitch. Honestly, I’d forgotten she’d even existed because she’d been such a good ex bitch by disappearing seemingly.

“Ricky, this better be a lie.” I frowned, reading the headline on the gossip blog a few more times. I didn’t even bother clicking the sound on the video, which displayed Tabitha on what appeared to be Instagram Live.

“What?” He glanced my way before putting his eyes back onto the road.

“This blog post says ‘Alleged ex boo of rapper Ricky AK, Tabitha, reveals that while dating the rapper, he cheated on her with multiple women, some even while she was in the same house; including wife Draylah Omari.”

  “Oh.”

“Oh? Did you really do that? You fucked other bitches in your house while Tabitha was there? And even me?”

“Yeah, I did, Draylah. But I only fucked you once knowing she was in my crib. Every other fucking time, it was just you and me. And I tried to get her to leave that one time, but she was bullshitting, so I put her ass in the basement. She wasn’t my official bitch anyway.”

I thought back to the night when he’d left the bedroom to get my bag, and how I heard some ruckus. He was probably kicking her ass out by that time.

“The basement?” I tried to be upset still, but the visual sent me into a fit of laughter. “You knew I was wifey and didn’t wanna fuck up, huh?” I caressed his tattoo-covered hand as it sat on the gearshift.

“I mean, honestly, no, but I knew I wanted to fuck with you and that you wasn’t like these other bitches, meaning if you saw Tabitha, you’d dip.”

  “You’re so rude.”

“I’m not rude, baby, never to you; a nigga is just being honest. I ain’t know you well enough, but I knew I wanted to fuck. But it didn’t take long after that for me to see I wanted you as my wife… not wifey.” His hand rubbed my thigh, and even though I had on jeans, it felt so good.

I half smiled at his words and his touch, while staring out the windshield.

“You ain’t shit for fucking other girls knowing she could probably hear it.” I chuckled.

“Ain’t like I asked her ass to put up with the shit. She could have left any day and I wouldn’t have given a fuck.” He shrugged, and the relaxation in his face let me know he was being honest.

If I was Tabitha, I would have murdered this nigga. He was too fine to be treating people like that.

“That dick kept her around. The ain’t shit niggas always have the best dick.” I shook my head at him as he chuckled lowly. “I would have murdered you and the bitch you brought home.”

“I know; that’s why I love you. You crazy as fuck and don’t take no shit. That’s what a nigga likes—needs. That’s also why ya pussy is so fucking fire.”

I giggled shyly and sunk down into the heated seat to enjoy the rest of the trip.

The ride to the Christmas festival wasn’t a long one, mainly because Ricky and I had the music popping. After parking, we located Bia, Kattlyn, and Virginia along with their significant others, and then went through the gates of the festival.
Everyone looked so nice, and I couldn’t wait to turn up.

Luckily, most of the people here were celebrities themselves, with the rest being regular people who were well off. By saying that, we didn’t have to worry too much about people bothering us the entire time for pictures and autographs since 60 percent of the people were celebs too.

“Lemon” by N.E.R.D. and Rihanna played loudly as people stood near the outside performance stage, got snacks, waited in line for the few rides available, and purchased merchandise.

We all got drinks, with us ladies getting some frozen margarita-like thing, and the guys getting the usual dark liquor that I only drank when getting faded with my husband. We had seats on the side of the stage so that we wouldn’t have to stand amid the rowdy crowd, because that would only bring problems, especially with Ricky’s crazy ass.

“I thought it would be cold as hell, but it’s cool.” Bia smiled as Kito sat down, pulling her into his lap.

“I know, and I’m thankful because I barely have a shirt on,” I replied, making my friends laugh as Ricky ran his hand down my big tattoo with Lily’s name located on my side.

“This drink is strong!” Kattlyn said, staring at her cup with a face full of confusion.

“I thought it was just me, but y’all bitches always call me a lightweight, so I kept it to myself.” Virginia shrugged, taking another sip and closing her eyes with a frown as she swallowed it.

“Nope, you’re right this time.” I laughed.

MG of course brought some weed, so as “West Coast” by Lana Del Rey played during the intermission before the next performer, we began to roll up.

“It’s so sexy seeing you roll that shit.” Ricky locked his arm around my neck and kissed my temple. I turned to face him and let our cold lips collide slowly, before getting back to it.

For the next two hours, we smoked, finished our one drink, and danced to the music. The performers were all artists I fucked with, and the deejay was really good with the in between songs too.

“Fuck kind of shit was that?” Kito asked, referring to how high he was I guess.
