Revenge of a Queen (Black Hallows Book 2) Page 29

I grip his shirt and start un-fastening the buttons and surprise flares in his eyes. "I need you, Marcus." I ensure that my tone is smooth and serious, even as pleading as I am, he needs to know how much I want this, how much I need this, need him.

"Make me forget,” I tear his shirt open. “Take away his words,” my hands brush up his chest. “His touch,” I drag my nails down his abs. “Just fucking everything that isn't you and me, right here in this room." His skin is warm, yet goosebumps appear at my touch. "I want you to take me, Marcus, right here on this desk, mark me, fucking claim me the only way you can."

My words snap him into action as he growls. Fucking growls.

He attacks my mouth with unrestrained lust. Lips, teeth, tongue, I feel him everywhere, yet I still need more. He slides his hands along my thighs until my dress is parted fully and he drags my ass to the edge of the desk. He looks down and gets the first glimpse of what I'm wearing underneath. The red lace already soaked in my desire.

"Fuck," he grunts out like he is in pain. "So fucking sexy," he practically spits.

He drops to his knees immediately, ripping my thong aside and plunges his tongue between my folds. There is no teasing kisses or slow licks, no, he fucking feasts on me, ravishing me like I am the very air he needs to breathe. Every lash of his tongue against my clit feels like a flame licking my body. My legs start to shake as he brings me to the edge so fucking fast, I can't do anything but grip his hair, and fuck his face, chasing my release. It doesn't build, or creep up on me, it just bursts out of me full force, ripping a scream from my throat as he pushes me into the fastest fucking orgasm I've ever had.

I am barely finished coming when he stands, gripping my thighs in a vice like hold as he takes out his cock giving it two quick pumps before lining it up and thrusting inside of me. I stretch around him, deliciously, as he begins to pound into me at a wicked pace. The desk bangs loudly into the wall and I know for sure the other two will know exactly what we are doing in here.

His cock pistons in and out of me and every thrust hits my clit hard. He drags my right thigh around his waist by the leather holster wrapped around it and the angle allows his cock to drag across my G spot in rapid succession. Fuck.

“You feel so fucking perfect wrapped around my cock, Ells,” his gravelly tone has me groaning, “You are fucking mine.”

I move my hips to meet his thrusts as he continues his vicious assault with his devilish dick and dirty words. “Yeah, baby, take it. Take my cock in this perfect fucking pussy,” he is gritting through moans as I clench around his cock at the sound of his rough voice coaxing me towards another orgasm.

“Marcus,” I half scream out, as I feel myself getting ready to come again.

He moves his grip back to my waist, gripping it so hard I know it will bruise but I don’t care. He lifts me by my hips drawing back before slamming back into me, thrusting deep one last time. His cock throbs inside me and he fills me with his come.

He growls my name as I scream his, as we both go over the edge together. Holy fuck.

Even after he has spilled in me, he continues to move slowly inside me, like he can’t bear for us to be finished. We are still catching our breath when there is a hard rapid knock on the door and we both smile slightly. It’s time to go.

  Chapter 46

  ELLE

Once Marcus ensures I am presentable again, we pull the door open and find Lincoln there alone. If he heard us, he is polite enough to pretend he didn’t.

“Where’s Jace?” I ask, the panic that Marcus had erased starting to creep back in, but Lincoln just rolls his eyes and nods over my shoulder.

I turn and find him with Taylor backed against a locker as he curls a lock of her hair around his finger. Sweet lord.

I move towards them and catch her words, “And what makes you think it wouldn’t be me rocking your world, playboy?” she asks him, and I have to squash a smile.

“Oh, I am more than willing to let you show me,” he teases her with a savage grin.

“Pretty boy,” I call him, and he scrunches his eyes up like he is a child about to be scolded.

“Hey, Queenie, thought you were busy,” he teases, confirming he knows exactly what Marcus and I were doing in that room. I ignore my blush and turn to Taylor.

“We are heading out for the night, let us drop you off?” I ask and pray she takes me up on my offer because after my meeting with the devil I don’t want to leave her in their grasp. She looks between me and the guys and then to Jace, noting the serious expression on all our faces before she nods.

Jace throws an arm around her, “Might have to sit on my lap, little vixen,” he teases and now I roll my eyes.

“Ignore him, he’s probably stoned,” I toss over my shoulder as Marcus curls his arm around me and we exit the school. Lincoln already has our car from the valet, and I presume that is thanks to the obscene wad of cash he slipped him on the way in.

The drive home is quiet, apart from Jace’s relentless attempts at flirting with Taylor, much to all our amusement. Good on her though because she takes it in stride, eventhough he is trying to bed her with his full charm. Seems she isn’t that immune though. When we pull into the gates of her house, Jace jumps out and lets her out of the back seat where she was sitting next to me. He shuts the door after her and just as she goes to leave, she turns back and slams her lips to his. He seems startled at first before he curls his arms around her waist and kisses her back. When she pulls away, she smiles shyly and says something we can’t hear before she heads inside.

Jace climbs back in and we are silent for about thirty seconds before we all burst out laughing.

“Fuck off, you buncha assholes,” he jeers at us, turning the music up to drown us out.

The rest of the drive we are all lost in our own thoughts. I have no idea what is running through each of the Rebels' minds right now but, for me, I can’t get the look in Greg’s eyes out of my head. It’s a look I have never seen before. He looked smug, satisfied even, like he had achieved something within our interaction. I didn’t show any fear, no matter how much of it I felt being that close to him, so what else would have had him gleaming like he was? I'll call Ash when I get inside and see if he came up with anything that might shed some light onto things.

We pull up to the gate and buzz but there is no answer. Not totally unusual considering it’s pretty late. Zack must have fallen asleep with Cassie but there is usually still one of the security guys around to answer. I roll down the window and lean out until I can reach the keypad and enter the code, so the gate opens.

It’s dark and quiet, calm. Just how I like it. I can’t wait to get into the house, out of this dress and into bed. Lincoln pulls up to the house and moves to park in the garage in what has become his spot. Just as he goes to turn off the engine his ringtone blasts through the sound system, the caller ID Jack Hanson. I know outside of the three of them, he is their eyes and ears out on the streets. I know he was aware of us having plans this evening, so whatever he is calling for must be important. Marcus looks at me, but I shake my head and motion for him to stay with the guys and gesture to the door leading into the house.

I get out of the car so they can deal with whatever business they have in peace. I move towards the entrance to the house taking my shoes off as I go. I drop them on the floor and make my way to the center of the house. It’s so quiet, my earlier estimation must have been correct, everyone has gone to sleep. The guards must be doing their hourly perimeter check, overkill I think considering the security system Z invented but hey what do I know?

As I get near the kitchen, I hear soft music playing, jazz, so Zack is awake somewhere it seems. I head to the kitchen first and grab a bottle of water, unscrewing the cap, and taking a sip as I head towards the living room. When I round the corner the first thing, I see is blood, so much fucking blood.

  WHAT THE FUCK?

The bottle of water falls from my grip, spilling onto the bottom of my dress as it hits the
floor. I have my pistol in my hand quicker than ever before, as I flatten myself to the living room door. I want to call out to Marcus and the guys but the water bottle hitting the floor may already have given away my spot if someone is here, even if it didn’t, I can’t risk it.

My hand shakes, for the first fucking time ever. I instantly think of the praise Zack gave me the first time I ever held a gun and didn’t falter; he praised my confidence, and ability right off the bat. I was never nervous. That training feels fucking worthless at this moment in time.

I move silently as I enter the room further, taking as much effort as possible to steady my breaths and keep the panic at bay. I reach the sofa and when I find the source of blood, my whole world falls apart.

Zack is lying in a pool of his own blood with his eyes closed.

  Please don’t be fucking dead.

I don’t hesitate to go to him and the relief I feel when I press my hand to his neck and his eyes snap open and hit mine. The look in his eyes shatters my whole fucking world. We may not have grown up together, but our circumstances meant our sibling bond grew quick and strong. I know that look, it isn’t just pain, it’s pure and unfiltered grief and that’s when I know. He doesn’t have to say the words, but he does, he knows I have to hear them.

He chokes, a mix between a breath and a gurgle as he says three words that crush my soul, “They have her.”

  My daughter is gone.

  TO BE CONTINUED...

Damn let me start this by saying this book was a freaking journey. A fast, crazy, whirlwind of a journey that took me in so many directions that I didn’t plan. So, like if you wanna yell at me then yell at the characters, it’s all their fault.

I still can’t believe this is my second book because I still haven’t gotten over the fact, I released the first one to be honest. The last few months have been crazy weird for me. For people to be picking up a book that I wrote and not only reading it but loving it too. Just insane.

So first, thank you to my readers. Every single one of you. I love you all! Thank you for taking a chance on such a newbie author and loving these characters as fiercely as I do. From the reviews, comments, and stunning edits! You guys are the freaking bomb!

Sammie, where do I even start? You are my rock girl! I would not be on this journey if it weren’t for you and I love that even with half a world between us, we grow closer every day. Thank you for being the best alpha a girl could ever have. For every time you loved Elle, every time Marcus pissed you off and every time Asher made you swoon. Just from the bottom of my heart, thank you for being the best book bestie a girl could ever wish for.

Dean, thank you again for reading something that’s definitely not your thing and loving it anyway. Oh, and as agreed we will never discuss the steam.

Mum, let’s also never talk about the steam! Let’s just focus on what a superhero nanna you are to my girl. Thank you for every extra sleepover you gave her to allow me time to write in the midst of a freaking pandemic. You rock.

To my husband, thanks for not reading my first book or this one either but loving and supporting me anyway.

To my awesome beta readers! Andrea, Sam, Jess, Brianna, Laura…. What would I do without you? Thank you for the time and patience you gave me and devouring the words I wrote. Your comments always make me smile. You’re the best!

And finally, to my street team!!! You guys are awesome! Thank you for being part of my team and hyping up my books and loving them.
