However, they did not stay at some plush condominium at the base of the mountain. Instead the school kept the girls secluded in a modest cabin a few miles away from the mountain. The school used to take them right to the mountain, but after one trip that involved girls sneaking out and drinking with older men—and of course the parents not wanting to take any responsibility for their daughters’ actions—the school thought it was best for everyone involved to just avoid this possibility.
The entire second floor of the cabin was one large bedroom with ten beds in it. The girls were going to share a bed each. The chaperones slept downstairs in the smaller bedroom. The three chaperones—all women of course—were drinking some wine they brought with them. The girls wanted to be alone, which was even better for the chaperones.
The sun set in the window. Darkness had fallen.
Five miles away, vampires erupted out of the snow.

Victor, Ash, Gabriel, and Radu walked at a slow pace over the snow covered land. The coldness did not bother them. Gabriel’s cigarette hung off his mouth as he walked through the snow. Radu pulled his long black hair into a ponytail with the help of a rubber band.
“This is going to be fun,” Gabriel said through his cigarette.
“I like to reward my men for doing a good job.”
“Malachi still got away.”
“I expected him to. I also I expected him to go to the closest airport and take a flight where Vlad did not live, and then take a flight to where he did live. I had a man at every major airport in the US. He took a flight to Chicago where Kenneth was. Kenneth kept an eye on him and saw him take a flight to Los Angeles.”
“So from there another man followed him home?”
“No, unfortunately there was a lag between the flights. It was daylight by the time that flight landed, but we have still narrowed it down.”
“You still thought I would fail to kill him.”
“You hadn’t done it for three hundred years, why start now?”
Malachi and Gabriel had a past, Radu’s words stung. Ash broke the tension.
“We ain’t had nothing easy like this in a while,” Ash said.
Ash had long, red hair, a rare color of hair for a vampire. He was a native from Ireland like Jericho. But unlike Jerico, he was a protestant, and the two of them have had a rivalry that has spanned centuries. This accounted for the red hair. Victor came from the Mediterranean. He was Greek. His dark eyes sat well with his short dark hair. He walked in the back of the group. A quiet vampire but can always be counted on. These two along with Gabriel were some of Radu’s toughest men.
The group of vampires came to the cabin away from everything in the middle of the woods. It was just a log cabin with a front porch to it. The cabin had only two floors, the big bedrooms upstairs and a kitchen, bathroom, and bar downstairs that had to be stocked by those who rented it.
“C’mon boys, this is it,” Radu told his men.
The four of them leapt up into a bare maple tree a few yards away from the cabin. They all stood on a strong branch, not worried about balance as they looked across into the second level bedroom window. The girls sat in the middle of the room. With no internet connection in the room the girls resorted to texting on their phones, listening to their iPods, and the growing rare act of just talking.
Some of the girls nighties cut high on their legs, especially on the legs of the attractive young girls. This excited the vampires. The four of them peered more closely into the cabin.
“Remember, everyone gets only one,” Radu said.
Radu jumped off the branch. He landed and made his way to the front door. The rest of his entourage followed him. Radu put his hand on the front door’s doorknob. The locked knob gave as Radu turned it. A doorknob stood no chance against vampire strength. Radu walked through the broken door.
In the entrance of the cabin sat the three chaperones drinking white wine and talking to each other.
“Let’s take them out first,” Radu said to his men.
The three middle-aged women had turned their attention from each other and looked at the doorway.
“Ladies, please finish your wine, enjoy it,” Radu said as he walked closer to them.
“Who the hell are you?” one of them asked.
“It doesn’t matter. I advise you to finish the wine, one feels less pain if they are drunk.”
He ran at one of the chaperones. He grabbed her by the neck, and the other two started to scream. Ash and Victor grabbed the other two and ripped out their jugulars to quiet them. Then they sucked out their blood. Radu had the other one lifted over his head as he squeezed her neck. Her blue eyes bulged as she felt her last pain. He squeezed harder until he put his fingers through her skin and destroyed her jugular and spinal cord. Her lifeless body fell to the ground and Radu licked her blood off his hand.
“Past its prime,” he said.
Gabriel flicked his cigarette on the floor, then walked upstairs to the bedroom.
3
In the room the schoolgirls heard the screams.
“What was that?” one of them asked.
“It sounded like Mrs. Beaudette,” said another. “I’m going to see what the problem is.”
She got up from the floor and walked out of the room and down the hall to the stairs. This girl, Lucy, was the bravest of the group—maybe because she was also one of the most attractive. The rest sat there quiet, waiting for her to return with the news. They were not afraid, yet.
There was only one scream. Maybe one of them saw a spider or something like that, Lucy walked down the hall toward the stairs. Then she heard the sound of someone walking up them. No serious thought of fear existed in her mind until the figure walking up the stairs came into her view. Every step he took raised himself more into her sight. Each step scared her more than the last, until he stood at the top level.
Gabriel stood there looking at her with his dark eyes. She felt as though he was looking right through her. He took a hard, long look at her. She had a good size chest for a girl of her age. Her long blonde hair hung down to her shoulders and helped bring out her blue eyes. Her high cut nightie showed enough of her young teenage legs. Gabriel liked this one.
“Well I usually like to play the field, but you seem to be a safe bet.”
She trembled as she stood there looking at him. She had no idea what he was talking about but it could not mean a good thing. She was too scared to speak, scream, or run. She just stood there looking at him. Gabriel locked eyes with her. She found herself walking toward him at a slow pace. Gabriel smiled back at her and with his right arm, opened the bathroom door to the right of him. She approached closer to him. He grabbed her right shoulder with his left hand and motioned her inside the bathroom.

The girls sat in different places in the room, some on the floor and some on the beds. They waited for Lucy to come back and tell them the cause for all the screaming.
“What’s taking Lucy so long?” one of them asked.
Radu opened the door to the room. The doorknob banged against the wall when the door opened and cracked some of the wall. The doorstop was crushed and did not do its job. Some of the girls grabbed each other and screamed, some just screamed, others just froze with fear not sure of what to do. Blood dripped from Radu’s bottom lip. He licked it with his blood red tongue. Victor and Ash ran to the window of the room blocking it with their bodies. The girls gathered themselves in a circle in the middle of the room.
The vampires moved closer to their prey. Most of them started to cry. Ash was the first to make contact by grabbing a brunette girl with his hand on her right arm and then throwing her body against the wall. The impact killed her. The others grabbed their victims.
Radu bit into the neck of one of the girls. He pulled his head back from her neck ripping out her jugular and sucking it in his mouth. The girl next to him screamed her hardest upon seeing this. Radu looked at her and smiled with her friend’s voice box resting
in his cheeks.
“What? Don’t all teenage girls want to meet a vampire?”

Lucy did not know what she was doing, why, or how she was even doing it. She just knew that she was doing it. She didn’t even know if she liked it or hated it. She sat with her legs open on the sink in the bathroom. Gabriel placed his mouth on her neck slowly. Her nightie hung open from her shoulders, and her naked breasts rested against Gabriel’s chest.
She had changed. Before she was just being kissed, now she found herself kissing back. Her right hand started to move along the side of Gabriel’s back. Gabriel moved his left hand down her chest from her nipples toward her lower body. He got a hold of her panties and ripped them off. The two looked at each other.

The vampires had cut through eight more girls, and now stood just the nine most attractive of the group. Radu sat on the edge of a bed.
“Now we are going to play a little game, a game of elimination. If you girls want to live, you’ll have to give me a good reason to allow it.” He smiled hoping they will get his point.
Some of the girls cried some more, some just looked at each other, scared. One of the girls looked around at her friends and then looked right at Radu. She was the most sexually experienced one in the group. Some of the boys that went to their all male Catholic brother school back in Montreal would describe her as a freak. “Hey mister, I’ll suck your dick,” she said to Radu.
“Oh, you will suck my dick, but I don’t know if that’s worth your life. You’re going to have to do better then that,” Radu replied.
She started to dance, rubbing her breasts and lower body.
This is a good start,” he said.
7
Lucy stood there naked with her ass hanging into the sink. No words were said yet. They did not seem necessary. Gabriel’s shirt was off and his pants were making their way to the ground. The kissing has gotten more passionate. This act was new to Lucy. She was only fifteen, but not a virgin. However, her two only other partners she had known quite well, and never before had she lost the ability to speak while in the act.
She wouldn’t know what to say if she could. She just got ready as Gabriel positioned himself inside her. Gabriel grabbed her buttocks with his two hands and started to rock.
8
All of the girls had gotten the hint and stated to dance seductively. Some started to take off their top pieces and let their breasts hang out. The three vampires watched and enjoyed everything. Ash smoked a cigarette and laughed. Radu looked at his men and gave a signal. Radu turned his head and looked at a girl, the other two vampires followed suit, each looking at a different girl.
They signaled their girls to come to them. The other six stood in the middle and started to cry. The vampires grabbed their specific girl by the neck. They put their mouths to their young necks. They bit into it and sucked their blood. The six other girls screamed as this happened. Ash ripped out the throat from his girl. Victor and Radu dropped their dead snacks to the floor.
“That was the first cut,” Radu said.
9
Poor little Lucy now found herself bent over the bathroom sink getting it from behind from a stranger whose name she did not even know. She didn’t care. Her feelings of this situation had gone from afraid and confused, to enjoyment. She was enjoying this. She had never felt like this in her young life. Her lover’s cum dripped down her young leg. It was over. Gabriel then put his mouth next to her neck.
10
The six girls started to gradually get more naked while they danced. The girl who started dancing first, took the iniative again and kissed another girl. Morality had gone out the window along with that feeling of safety. They were going to do whatever they had to do to please their unholy visitors. The two kissing started to grab each other’s breasts. Radu had seen enough.
“All right, ladies,” he said.
Radu stood up off the bed. Ash and Victor moved toward the rest of them. The three vampires looked at two girls each. Radu grabbed the necks of the two kissing girls. He looked at them both and made his decision. He decided to keep the girl who offered him felacio. He grabbed the other girl, bit her neck and drained her blood. Ash and Victor killed the ones they did not want also by the same means.
Now three girls stood in the middle of the room. All of them were crying.
“Ash, find Gabriel. We got what we want.”
Ash left the room and found Gabriel pulling up his pants in the bathroom.
“I see you made your choice,” Ash said to him.
The vampires did not leave right away. They stayed for a few more hours. They had nothing to worry about. Nobody else was going to show up. They had their fun and swapped the girls amongst themselves. They wanted to introduce these girls properly to the life of a vampiric concubine.
St. Mary’s School would never be the same after the news of this broke out. Neither would those four little girls.

Vlad relaxed at his desk smoking a Cuban cigar. He had just finished breakfast and could not think of anything he wanted to do next, so he decided to smoke and turn on the world news. He was able to take his mind off the stress of his world, if he thought about the stress in the real world. Fox News bashed the Democratic president, CNN praised him, and Vlad couldn’t care less. He didn’t care about politics. Both these stations distorted the facts, their agendas so transparent. He flipped over to BBC News to get a fresh outlook.
Nothing immediately grabbed his attention, so he continued to his enjoy his cigar. Then the middle-aged anchorman grabbed his attention.
“The police stumbled upon a horrific sight this morning at a cabin in Quebec, Canada. We warn if there are any young viewers watching, you may want to ask them to leave the room.”
This perked Vlad’s interest as the shot changed to the outside of a cabin in the snow. A female reporter spoke over the scene.
“Suspicions were raised when twenty girls and their three chaperones from St. Mary’s Catholic School for Girls in Montreal did not show up for skiing at Mont Blanc yesterday. Concerned parents called the school saying that none of them had heard from their daughters in some time. This prompted the police to check in on the cabin and see if everything was all right. What they found was beyond their darkest imagination.”
The view changed to the inside of the cabin, on the second floor. The viewer could make out ten beds, and the blood. It was everywhere, on the floors, the beds, the walls. The reporter continued to narrate.
“The three chaperones and sixteen of the twenty girls were found dead here. Their bodies mutilated, jugulars ripped out and drained of most of their blood.”
The scene then flipped quickly between four pictures of girls from their school photos.
“Four girls however are currently missing without a trace. The authorities have no idea behind the motivation of such a gruesome crime, but believe these four girls who came from affluent families maybe are being held for some type of ransom, though no demands have been made yet. The police have no leads, and have found no fingerprints, footprints, or car tracks near the cabin. The community is in complete shock.”
Vlad bit down hard on his cigar and growled under his breath.
“Radu.”

Vlad reviewed the situation. Radu was in Canada. What happened in Canada meant many things, but amongst them it was also a message for Vlad. It was still Canada, though. Radu didn’t have a clue where Vlad was. Vlad could feel safe. The Crusaders haven’t contacted Jericho yet. There wasn’t really anything to do right now, except try to enjoy the day.
He went up to the bathroom on the fourth floor. The bathroom was dark when he first entered. Vlad did not need light to see, but seeing in the dark required the power of blood. Vlad saved his blood anyway he could. He turned on the light, and the bathroom went from the blue tint of how he saw things with his nocturnal eyes, to normal lighting. He made it to the sink and started to brush his
teeth. He didn’t do it to fight off plaque or other tooth disease, as there was nothing living in his mouth. However, living things did go into his mouth. Things like blood, skin, and inner organs that caused his mouth to reek like death. He didn’t want his breath offensive to the rest of the world. He used a concoction that was a mix of baking soda, pure spearmint, and a bit of gasoline that he kept in a metal syringe. He squirted it out on his toothbrush and shook it vigorously inside his mouth. Vlad felt that maybe the breath of vampires caused the garlic myth to come about.
He walked out of the bathroom and into the hall. Malachi came out of a guest bedroom with just his black slacks on from last night. His body had less than four percent body fat on it. Vlad wondered how a man in the eighteenth century possessed a strong body like that without modern weight lifting. Nowadays, every man with a needle and a free ass cheek could look like that. Malachi was a warrior ahead of his time. His human strength carried over into what made his vampire strength.
“Malachi,” Vlad said. Malachi turned his head toward him. “I want you to get Jericho and Michael. Tell them to get ready. We’re going for a ride.”
Malachi cracked a smirk. “Yes, master.”
2
Vlad waited in the parlor of his mansion on the first floor. Malachi, Jericho, and Michael came down the stairs from the second floor dressed and armed. They stood right in front of Vlad. Michael pulled off his cigarette.
“So master, where are we going today?” Jericho asked with a bit of a smile.
