about it as well. Her mother was excited and a little sad, knowing her baby girl will be out living on her own. Her father well, he didn’t say much on the matter but I could tell he wasn’t thrilled about the idea of his baby girl leaving. What father would be? I know I wouldn’t be.

I excitedly make my way towards the stairs leaving Caleb in the kitchen with Sarah, I take

two steps at a time, Elizabeth’s door is closed, placing my hand on the handle twisting it, I slowly push it open, my mate’s lying on top of the blankets, lightly snoring, chuckling at the cute little noises she’s making, I enter the room, walking over to the bed, I lay down slowly so, I don’t wake

her, when my body makes contact with the bed she stirs a little but doesn’t wake.

I lie here with her, watching her chest rise and fall as she sleeps. I’m memorized by her, she’s

incredible. I’m one lucky son of a bitch, pardon my French. Caleb and I have been bonding more

lately which is a relief, at first, I thought for sure he was going to kill me if I touched Elizabeth but now he’s giving me time to be alone with her. Let’s just say I am very happy with how everything

has turned out. Caleb and I are blessed, having Elizabeth as our mate.

I take my index finger and I start poking her cheek lightly, she stirs a little her eyes open

sleepy, she’s looking at me, I smile at her and she returns my smile with her own. She holds my

hand and places a small kiss on my lips, pulling back she looks around her room, and then she looks

  to me.

“Where’s Caleb?” her voice full of sleep. I tell her that he’s downstairs helping her mother

with supper. Then placing a kiss on her lips, she starts grinding on me, groaning I pull away, even

though it took all my strength to do so.

When I told her we should head downstairs, she didn’t seem to be too happy about it but if

we stayed up here in this room, I wouldn’t be able to stop myself from going further. It’s getting

harder and harder to resist her; surely she knows her effect on me.

Once we get downstairs, we head into the kitchen and the first thing her mom asks is if I

could go and set the table with Elizabeth. Once we’ve done what we were asked, we go back to see

if her mom needs anything else doing before supper. Her mother shakes her head.

“No, I think that’s it. The sauce and pasta are all done. Elizabeth, go get your father, he’s in

his study,” she says she takes the pasta from the strainer and places it in a huge bowl. Elizabeth

leaves the room and goes to fetch her father.

The three of us grab the food bringing it to the dining room; we wait for Elizabeth and

Roman to show at the table, before sitting down. A few minutes later, Elizabeth walks in with her

father following her. Roman nods to both of us before taking a seat at the head of the table. The

four of us taking our seats, everyone digs in. Elizabeth gets up from the table and leaves the room

quickly; Caleb and I stare at each another in question. I’m just about to get up from the table to see what’s wrong but she comes back with a wine glass of red liquid, sniffing the air I can tell there’s blood in there, but it has a scent of wine as well.

She places the glass in front of me with a smile as she takes her seat in between Caleb and

me. My mate’s making sure I’m fed, that makes my insides warm, something that I haven’t felt since

I was human. Elizabeth’s mother looks over at me with a little frown.

“Samuel, I’m so sorry. Are you able to eat the spaghetti? It didn’t even come to mind,” she

mentions, leaning forward, putting her elbows on the table.

“It’s fine, Sarah. I’m capable of eating human food, but it doesn’t satisfy the hunger.

Elizabeth was generous enough to get me a glass of wine mixed,” she nods giving a little smile and

she goes back to eating her food. Elizabeth takes Caleb’s plate filling it up with spaghetti, handing it to him. He smiles at her telling her ‘thank you’. She grabs my plate next putting less than half of

what she put on his plate then placing it down in front of me.

“Thank you, little gem,” she blushes filling her plate.

I lift the wine glass to my lips and inhale the sweet scent of it, my eyes widen. It’s Elizabeth’s

blood… turning my head she gives me a bright smile, I look down and see she has a bandage on her

wrist. She didn’t have to do that, hurting herself to feed me. As if she can read my mind.

“Don’t worry, it barely hurt, and remember I heal fast,” she whispers before she takes a sip

from her glass. I let it go for now, but I don’t want to sit here with a hard on in front of her parents.

Shit… this isn’t going to go well. Oh, fuck it, bringing the glass back to my lips, tilting my head back a little, the blood hitting my tongue, my fangs descending as the glorious taste of Elizabeth mixed with the bitterness of the wine. I have to stop myself from moaning because I don’t think her parents

  want to hear me moaning.

Once we’re all done, before everyone goes to get up from the table, I clear my throat, stops

everyone from moving. They all look at me and I can feel the pressure, it doesn’t help that her father is glaring at me. Elizabeth’s a bundle of nerves right now; she knows I have a surprise for her. I smile lovingly at her.

“Like I said, I have a surprise for you, I got this for you, my little gem,” I hand her keys to the

house; she raises her brow, she looks at me confused.

“What are these for?” she moves the keys around between her fingers.

“Well those will be used for the wedding gift I got you, well got us really. I got us a house to

live in, it’s not too far from here,” I’ve not even finished saying my sentence before she squeals so loud everyone at the table makes a face because of the sharpness of her pitch, she throws her arms

  around my neck.

“You really bought us a house?” I nod my head she squeaks out in excitement again, giggling

like a little girl that just got a pony for her birthday. I start chuckling; she goes over to Caleb hugging him before she moves to her mother and father. Her mother has tears in her eyes from seeing how

happy her baby girl is. Her father is trying to hide his smile, but I know he’s happy for her as well.

Elizabeth is humming with excitement while we drive to the house; of course, Caleb has

seen it. I got him to come with me when I had to check it out with me. I hope she loves it as much as Caleb and I do. I turn on the road where we’ll be spending the rest of lives together she gasps as we pull up to the house. Her eyes go wide, she looks between Caleb and me; her eyes they’re sparkling

with happiness, she whistles as she takes in the massive size.

“Is this really our home?” she asks in wonder, we nod she claps her hands together, sighing

happily. She kisses Caleb and then me; she opens the door as soon the car is parked and takes off

towards the door. Caleb and I chuckling shaking our heads as we exit the car, all we hear is her

squealing and screaming in the house. Well, I guess it’s safe to say she loves the house.

Caleb and I head inside and shut the door. We can hear her upstairs, taking two steps at a

time, we both make it up the stairs to see her running from room to room yelling ‘oh my God’.

“This house is incredible. I still can’t believe it’s ours.” She has a dreamy look on her face as

she looks around the master bedroom.

  “There are three master bedr
ooms. A room for each of us, and then there’s another small

bedroom down the hall. This way we don’t all have to sleep together, all the time. If you want alone

  R a v i s h i n g E l i z a b e t h ‘ W h i t e T i m b e r P a c k ’

time with Caleb, I’ll stay in my room.” She frowns, shaking her head. I’m confused; I thought she

would be happy about spending time with each of us separate.

“What’s wrong, little gem? What’s with the frown on your adorable face?” she hugs herself,

looking at us. “I don’t want us to be separate. I don’t like being away from either of you,” she

mumbles. Caleb and I walk over to her, both of us placing a hand on her shoulder.

“Elizabeth, it’s only for some nights. There will be nights where you’ll be with Samuel and

some nights you’ll be with me. Samuel and I talked about it and we’re cool with the idea,” Caleb

mentions, trying to soothe our distressed mate.

She seems to loosen up after Caleb tells her that. If she wants us to all sleep together every

night, I couldn’t care less, just as long as I’m near her.

“There’s no furniture in the house,” she says, placing a strand of hair behind her ear. I reach

in my back pocket, grabbing my wallet I flip it open taking out my credit card, and hold it out to her, and her hand reaches for it with a shocked and confused look.

  “What’s this for?”

“It’s for you to get some furniture tomorrow with Caleb. We need to have something in here

before the mating,” Caleb nods, Elizabeth seems unsure about taking it and spending my money I’m

sure but she’s my mate, I want to do this for her, so I just remind her.

“You’re my mate Elizabeth. I want to provide for you. I want you to be happy, so please take

the credit card and get everything that is needed in the house. The house came with a fridge and

stove as you saw when you were running through but everything else, please get what you want,”

she hugs me looking up smiling.

“How did I get so lucky…?”

“Oh my little gem, it’s us who are the lucky ones to have found you.”

She giggles as we both kiss the side of her head.

  Chapter 16

After Caleb and Samuel took me home after showing me our house, they stayed for a little

while before heading home. I can’t believe Samuel actually got us a house; it must have cost a

fortune. All the windows are tinted so Samuel, can walk around during the day, I’ll be able to be with him during the day which makes me very happy. I’m just thrilled that we’ll all be under the same

roof. I will be the woman of the house. I’m just glad the cooking lessons my mother gave me, will

help me with feeding my mates. I don’t want to serve burnt food that would be so embarrassing.

It’s been a long night, I really didn’t get much sleep I was too excited about going shopping

for furniture for our home it’s weird to say that ‘our home’. I can’t believe Samuel, actually gave me his credit card. My life seems to be falling into place since I moved here. I remember putting up a

huge fight about moving here in the beginning but I’m glad my parents didn’t listen to me. If they

would have listened to me, I wouldn’t have met Samuel or Caleb, my heart hurts and my wolf

whines just thinking about the what if’s.

My clock on the little dresser beside my bed, the angry little red numbers brightly blinding

me read, five AM. I groan, turning over I put the pillow over my head, today’s going to be a long day.

I’m too excited to fall back asleep. I can’t wait to head out with Caleb to go shopping. I’ve never

really picked out furniture before, so I’m hoping I do a good job, I just hope I don’t get overwhelmed with all the choices.

Well, I guess seeing as I can’t go back to sleep, I might as well get up. If not, I’ll end up

looking up at the ceiling, tossing, and turning. I throw the blankets off me, sitting up I rub my face, sighing. My feet hitting the floor, I tiptoe out of my room towards the bathroom, trying my hardest

not to make a peep, my parents are probably still sleeping. Once I’m finish relieving myself in the

bathroom, I wash my hands then I head back to my room to get dressed.

Walking down the hallway back to my bedroom, I listen closely, checking if I hear any

movement from my parents’ room, but its dead silence. I guess they’re still sleeping. Once I’m in my room I turn on the light and walk over to my dresser, taking the clothes out that I’m going to wear

today. When I’m finished getting dressed, turning the light off and shutting my door, I walk towards the stairs.

As I make my way downstairs, I notice this it’s eerily quiet. I switch on the light in the kitchen

and head over to get a coffee mug ready to make myself a hot drink, all I need to do is make sure the

  R a v i s h i n g E l i z a b e t h ‘ W h i t e T i m b e r P a c k ’

kettle is full of water and switched on. I take a spoon out of the drawer, and put a fair size amount of coffee in the cup, then add some sugar. While I wait for the water to heat up my stomach growls, I

might as well check the fridge to see if we have anything good to make. I take the handle in my hand pulling, the smell of spaghetti sauce from last night hits my nose, looking around pulling the meat

drawer out, and I see some bacon, so I grab it. Hmmm… What else, oh there’s egg’s, maybe an

omelet, grabbing all the ingredients, I close the fridge by hitting it with my hip. I lay out all the food on the Island, snatching a pan for the bacon and one for the eggs from under the counter.

I take a big bowl out; and start wiping up some egg’s, adding some onions and spices.

Walking over to the stove, I turn the dial on medium heat, places the pan on the burner, waiting for it to get hot enough to add the bacon. Once it’s ready, I lay down the bacon in the pan; and it starts to sizzle in the pan. I get the pan ready for the eggs adding some butter, and then cracking three

eggs into the bowl, whisking them up, pouring the mixture of egg in the pan. The yummy smell of

the bacon frying in the pan makes my mouth water.

The bacon and eggs are almost done when I hear movement coming down the stairs and

then my parents walk into the kitchen; they stop dead in their tracks and stare at me in shock.

“Seems like someone couldn’t sleep because of what’s plan for the day, honey,” my mother

giggles out to my father who grunts in response.

“The water is still hot if you want coffee. Are you guys hungry?” they both look at each other

  then back to me nodding.

“You need any help, sweetheart?” my mother asks as she pours hot water into her cup.

“No, I should be good. I’ll just make more eggs,” she nods, walking over to the table placing

the cup of coffee in front of my father, then she grabs one for her, taking it to the table, she sits down beside my father. After all the foods finish cooking I take three plates down from the

cupboard, loading them with food. I take two plates over to my parents, setting them down in front

of them; thank both say ‘thank you’.

“Smells amazing sweetheart,” my father says before diving in, mumbling thanks, I dig in as

  well.

After we’re all finished, I take the plates to the sink and wash them, placing them on the

drying rack, turning around to check the time on the clock on the wall it’s only, seven AM.

“I’m going to watch some TV and rest on the couch for a bit before I have to leave,” both of

; my parent’s nod.

  R a v i s h i n g E l i z a b e t h ‘ W h i t e T i m b e r P a c k ’

I slowly open my eyes and see the TV is still playing, I must’ve have fallen asleep I hear

voices coming from somewhere in the house, groaning as I sit up, stretching my back. Hmmm… I

wonder what time it is, grabbing my cell phone on the coffee table, and see a text message from

Caleb, it was sent at eight thirty, mentioning he’ll be here at nine. It’s nine thirty now. I guess the voices were Caleb and my parents. Why didn’t he or my parents wake me up?

I get up off the couch and walk towards the kitchen to find all three of them sitting around

  the table, chatting.

“Well, great to see you’re up sleepyhead. I’m guessing getting up early this morning was too

much for you,” my father snickers.

“No, dad… I just had to slave away making you both breakfast,” the expression on his face is

  priceless.

“We didn’t make you make us breakfast, you offered,” he mumbles out, taking a sip of his

coffee. I start chuckling at the fact that he’s sulking at the table like a little kid, Caleb smiles at me, he stands up from the table making his way over to me.

“You ready to go? So, we can get some furniture for the house?” nodding, we say bye to my

parents and head out the door. I can’t wait to see what they have!

We’re standing in the furniture store. Elizabeth is having a field day, choosing between

furniture for the rooms. She’s already chosen out the beds, which I got to admit, are comfy as hell, almost fell asleep when I was testing them out, she picked out some nice oak dressers for each of

the bedrooms; she got an amazing dining room table. The couch, oh my God, let’s just say the couch

is incredible, it’s going to be nuts with the TV she chose, sixty inch TV and with the comfiest couch I ever sat on, I know for a fact there’ll be many Sunday’s where I’ll be sleeping peacefully on it. I can guarantee it. Oh and don’t get me started on the lazy boy she got, that thing right there is a man’s precious gift, besides his mate, of course, I got to say I did drool a little when I saw the lazy boy, I’m man enough to admit it.
