His eyes traced the edge of her neck, down her shoulder to her tits. Without even realizing he was doing it, he licked his lips. She had the perfect rounded breasts, and tiny nipples begging to be licked. Her thumbs hooked her shorts, dropping them down to the floor, along with her panties. His eyes zoned in on her smooth pussy as if it was calling to him. Freshly waxed with only a thin line of hair, just the way he liked her.
His voice was gravelly from his need for her. “Now, strip me.”
A small smile played on her lips. She moved into his body and lifted the hem of his shirt, driving it up over his head. She leaned into him, her lips wanting to be on his, but he shook his head. “Not done yet.” Her bottom lip pouted, and it took every ounce of control he had not to bite it.
Dropping to her knees, she started to unbuckle his jeans and slide down his zipper. Smiling, she yanked hard, dragging his jeans down his legs to his ankles. He leaned against the closed door, gripped his cock in his hand, and demanded, “Open.”
She peered up at him, her eyes glinting when she obeyed his command. He rocked his cock into her mouth, groaning at the heat and the way she was swirling her tongue around the base of his dick. He would blow his load in the next ten seconds if she didn’t stop soon. Grey felt her cup his balls and cover him in a light squeeze.
“Shit!” He hissed. It felt too good and she knew it. In the last month, they hadn’t spent any available hours apart. If she wasn’t sleeping in his bed, he was in hers. Their time together behind closed doors had clued her into Grey’s weak spot. His balls.
He thrust his hips, his cock hitting the back of her throat and pulling out. Gripping his cock with her fist, she jerked him slowly. Wrapping her lips around his balls, she moaned, causing a vibrating rumble over his sensitive sac. His back shot up straight and he gripped her hair. “Get your ass in the shower. Now.”
She slowly got to her feet with a coy smile and got into the shower, letting the water wash over her body. She gave into everything he needed when it came to sex. He had eased her into his demanding side, even though she got off on it. In return, he was more than happy to give her the touching and the softer side of holding her. He’d be lying if he didn’t say he enjoyed the cuddling as much as she did. Any excuse to be touching her, he took full advantage.
“You coming?” He watched her peek down at his cock, her hand sliding between her legs.
Grey trailed her into the shower, closing the door and gripping her against him, his mouth crashing down on hers. The water beat on his back, his tongue lashing at hers in a rhythmic dance. He could taste the water seeping between them. He reached down to her pussy and circled her before sliding his finger inside her, feeling her wet, tight walls gripping him.
“Ahh…” She groaned, burying her face against his chest.
He pumped his finger inside slowly, gearing her up.
Pulling out, his wet finger circled her sensitive nub and she moaned loudly, tightening her grip around his neck. She was ready for him.
He lifted her up, legs wrapping around his waist, and he entered her in one quick thrust, both of them breathing hard. Plunging inside her, he felt her inner walls clasping against his cock. Pure fucking heaven being inside her.
“Baby, go faster, I want to come.”
“You making demands now?” His teeth grazed her ear lobe and then sucked on it hard.
“Yeah, hard…” She panted. He moved his hips faster, slamming harder into her core, each time being rewarded with her breathy groan. Unable to keep a slower pace, he pounded into her, giving her what she was asking for. His cock grew thicker with each thrust, feeling her juice moisten over his cock.
Tightening his grip on her ass, his fingers dug into her flesh. He slammed into her again until he was deeply seated inside her core. “Fuck.” He grunted through gritted teeth as he spilled his seed inside her. Her body tensed and the walls of her pussy formed a vise grip on his dick. He could feel her whole body convulse from her orgasm.
His mouth dropped down on her while they both rode the last wave of their orgasms. His hips jerked, his cock pulsating into her one last time.
Resting his head against her neck, loving the feel of her fingers draping over his back, he whispered, “I love you.”
He felt her lips kiss his temple. “I love you more.”

Britt turned the oven off and pulled out the bread. While she was becoming a bit more domesticated, she was no Betty Crocker. Bread from the box would have to do.
“Smells good.”
The voice startled Britt. She jerked her hand toward the stove, nearly sending the hot tin flying across the room. Thankfully, the oven mitt saved her from a nasty potential burn. She turned to see Mrs. Fords, her hand covering her mouth, horrified.
Britt laughed. “I’m okay.” She pulled off her mitts, tossing them on the counter.
“I knocked but there was no answer. Grey said you were in the kitchen, I hope you don’t mind me letting myself in.”
“Of course not. I must have been deep in the baking zone.”
Mrs. Fords smiled back at her. In the past few weeks, an obvious effort had been made on the part of all the Fords, especially Grey’s mom. It started with a simple invitation to Sunday dinner, and then wafted into a morning coffee break when she went over to Britt’s ranch. She had learned quickly her first impression had been way off. Grey’s mom never disliked her. She just didn’t know Britt. Mrs. Fords was just like any mom, wanting the best for her son.
“Well, it looks good.”
“Looks can be deceiving. Thankfully, Grey doesn’t have to rely on my cooking to feed him.” She eyed the containers in her hand. “Leftovers?”
She shrugged. “I know how many long hours you both work. The last thing you should have to worry about is food when you get alone time.”
Britt clamped her mouth closed. She wouldn’t do it, she would not say it, but she knew what Grey’s mom was thinking. Of course, she didn’t want them cooking during their alone time. Spending time in the kitchen would not get her the grandbaby she was itching for. Britt could barely control her smile when Mrs. Fords glanced over at her.
She huffed. “Well, can you blame me? With your blonde hair and Grey’s blue eyes, my grandbaby will be gorgeous.”
Britt burst out laughing.
“What’s so funny?”
“Nothing,” Mrs. Fords snapped at Grey as he stood in the doorway. She placed the food on the table and winked at Britt before leaving.
She turned and blushed at Grey. Gone were thoughts of bread and babies. Her mind was going back to the incredible orgasm he had given her a couple of hours ago.
He walked over to the stove and leaned down to sniff the bread. “You got it done?” he smirked, knowing she almost didn’t and it would have been his fault. His hand reached out to pull her against his chest.
“Yeah, well, it almost wasn’t done since someone wouldn’t let me leave the bed.”
After they had gotten out of the shower, Grey took her to his bed again. This time no sex, just cuddling. They had fallen asleep and woke up an hour before everyone was supposed to be at her place. After she scolded him for letting her fall asleep, which made him snicker, she raced back to her place to start the bread.
His hands curved around her back, landing on her butt. He smirked. “I still think you should have cancelled tonight and stayed in my bed.”
She hit his arm and scowled. “You better be on your best behavior.”
Rolling his eyes, he stepped back to her fridge, pulling out the steaks and a beer.
“Who’s coming again?”
“Jasper, Sarah, Lucas, Travis, and Kellie. I was thinking about inviting Tripp but since you haven’t lifted the ban on him stepping foot in the house, I decided against it.”
“Good choice.” He rifled through the drawer, seemingly looking for a bottle opener.
“Grey…” She stopped when his head jerked in her direction.
“No.”
Tripp was not up for discussion. It hadn’t been the last three times she’d brought it up either. She hated to be a wedge between the brothers, although both Grey and Jasper made it clear this had merely been a last straw with Tripp. By no means was Britt a fan of Tripp’s, but she could tolerate him. She tried to get Grey to forgive his youngest brother, wanting the Sunday dinner tension over with. Grey was stubborn. He seemed to have no problem ignoring Tripp when he was forced to be around him.
Tripp had apologized, though she couldn’t quite figure out if it was obligatory or genuine. It seemed rehearsed. She had her suspicions Mr. Fords had played a part in Tripp’s apology.
He had showed up at her ranch midday. She had been in the barn with Lucas when she heard the truck pull up. Making their way to the door, they stared in silence as Tripp pulled up the driveway, parked, and got out.
“What the hell does he want?” Lucas sneered.
Britt kept her watchful eye on Grey’s youngest brother as he walked toward them. There was something different about him. His hands dug deep into his pockets and his hat hung low over his eyes. Even his usual arrogant swagger was off. “Maybe his dad fired him and he’s looking for a job.”
Lucas snickered.
Tripp looked up from the ground, meeting her gaze. “Need to talk to you.”
Lucas stepped forward. “Ain’t you done enough talking, Tripp?” Britt watched his body tense and his brows furrow into a deep scowl.
“Wasn’t asking you, Lucas.”
“Ya didn’t ask her either. Coming up here saying ya need to talk ain’t asking, asshole.”
Tripp’s face reddened and he took a step forward, only to be matched by Lucas. Shit, breaking up a fight was not on my list of things to do today. Britt moved quickly, wedging herself between the men. She rested her hand on Lucas’s chest, gaining his attention.
“You go finish up in the barn, I’ll be there in a minute.”
His heart pounded against her hand. Lucas was usually a laid-back type, but when he was angry, he was not a man to be messed with. His already tense jaw tightened. He was not happy to leave her with Tripp and she knew why. Her relationship with Lucas would rival the closest brother and sister duo, and as any brother would do, he was having her back.
Britt tapped her finger over his shirt and smiled. “I’m fine. Go ahead, I’ll be there in a sec.”
Lucas stood glaring at Tripp before turning around and heading through the barn doors. Britt spun around to face Tripp. “What do you want?”
He seemed surprised at her tone. “Came by to apologize.”
Britt squinted her eyes and crossed her arms. “Okay, apologize.”
“I just did.”
“No. You didn’t. An apology means actually saying you’re sorry, Tripp.”
His mouth twisted and his jaw clenched. “I’m sorry,” he said through gritted teeth. He was not getting off that easy. If he was going to make amends, she was going to make him admit everything.
Britt cocked her head to the side and raised her eyebrows. “For what?”
“For what I done.”
“Which was?”
“Damn, girl, you’re a pain in the ass.” Tripp pulled his hands from his pockets and rested them on his hips. Apologizing was obviously new territory for him. Britt stood silently, watching him stare off past the barn.
“Fine. Sorry for the trouble I caused with you and Grey. The plan was my doing. Grey didn’t have nothing to do with it.” His apology lacked genuine sincerity. He really did suck at this.
“And?”
His eyes shifted to meet her stare. “And telling Sarah, I saw you and Lucas in the barn.”
“And?”
“And what? There’s nothing else.”
She narrowed her eyes, stepping forward. He had almost a foot on her, but she wasn’t backing down. “Think hard, Tripp. What else have you done?”
She could see the wheels turning. His eyes showed recollection. He knew. He licked his lips and took a deep breath. “Sorry about the fences and the feed store order. I was angry but it gave me no right to mess with your ranch. I’ll repay you the money for the order.”
The money wasn’t very important, and it wouldn’t break her bank. However, the tension and discord amongst the brothers wasn’t something she wanted. She would be the bigger person and accept his apology, genuine or not. And, of course, his money.
“Okay, I’ll send you a bill. Now, I gotta run. Bye.”
“Wait, you gonna tell Grey I came by and apologized?” There was a twinge of hope in his tone. For a brief second, she saw the arrogant asshole facade crack and a worried little brother emerge. It was a side of Tripp she hadn’t ever seen. She realized the apology didn’t have much to do with her, if anything. What Tripp wanted was things to be okay with Grey. She held a lot of power over Tripp, she realized. She was the difference between mending the brothers or not. He may not deserve it, but unlike Tripp, she was not an asshole.
“I’ll tell him.” Britt turned away.
“And my dad?”
Britt snorted and shook her head. Glancing over her shoulder, she couldn’t help but laugh. He must have heard it from Mr. Fords and demanded Tripp apologize. “Yes, I’ll tell your daddy.” She smirked and made her way into the barn, not bothering to look back again at Tripp.
She had mentioned it to Grey, but it didn’t change much. It seemed he didn’t think much of the apology. Either way, she accepted it. Only time would tell if Tripp would be a problem in the future.
“Don’t see why you needed to invite Travis, either.”
She almost lost it when she saw his lower lip jut out. Greyson Fords pouting was hysterical.
“He’s my friend, Grey. Stop being jealous, we went out once. Hell, you were there.”
“I got no problem with Travis. He knows you’re mine and I don’t have a problem reminding him if he forgets.”
She snorted. “You’re such a guy.”
The doorbell rang. “It’s probably Jasper, I’ll get it.” Grey walked to the doorway, slapping her ass before walking out.
“Hey!” She shouted. Yeah, he was all guy.
She heard the voices from the front and turned to see them all, not just Jasper, walk into the kitchen.
“Hey everybody.”
“Smells so good, Britt. I swear, these two started drooling when we got out of the truck.” Sarah joked, pointing at Lucas and Travis, who laughed. Travis held his arms out, oblivious to Grey’s sneer. She walked over, embracing him in a hug. It had been awhile since she’d seen him.
“Hey, Travis. Stoked you could be here.”
“Always good to see you, sweetheart.”
She didn’t miss Grey’s glare when she pulled back. She stuck her tongue at him, and his eyes narrowed in warning. The men all filed out back by the grill to start the steaks, while Sarah helped Britt with putting the salads on the table. Their friendship had gotten back on track. Sort of. They didn’t go out much, but she liked hanging out with Sarah when their group got together. When she first met Sarah, she thought they would wind up being good friends. As it turned out, she seemed to get along better with Kellie. She had come over at least one a week for dinner at the ranch when Grey was working late. She even stayed overnight two weeks ago, when they had gotten into too much wine. Her friendship with Kellie was effortless, free from any judgment on both sides.
“Just going to have to do buffet style, no way we can all fit in my dining room.”
“I like it this way, less formal.” Sarah opened the cabinet. “How many are we? Six?”
Britt did a mental calculation. “Um, seven.”
Sarah looked over her shoulder at Britt. “Who are we missing?”
“Kellie.” Britt looked back down at the table, adding spoons to the bowls. She quickly realized Sarah stood right next to her. Peering up, she saw Sarah’s angry eyes.
“What?”
Britt laughed. “What, what?”
“Why?”
“Why
what?” Britt laughed at how ridiculous the conversation sounded. Sarah obviously did not see the humor.
“You know I don’t like her.” Her voice raised as her lips tightened.
No way, girl. Britt was going to put a stop to this right now. She held up her hands. “I get you don’t like her. Even though I think your reasoning is bullshit. That’s on you, you don’t want to like her, then don’t. I do like Kellie, and I invited her because we’re friends. If you’ve got a problem with her, then it’s your problem.”
“Fine.” Sarah closed the cabinet sharply and walked out back where the guys were hanging out.
She huffed a heavy breath, hoping Sarah would lighten up. Movement from the doorway caught Britt’s attention. Kellie was standing at the door, looking extremely uncomfortable, but smiled at Britt. Her eyes appeared unsure. Damn. There was no doubt in Britt’s mind, Kellie heard the whole scene with Sarah.
Pushing it aside, she walked over, taking the plate out of her hands and pulling her in for a hug. “Hey! So glad you made it.”
“Sorry I’m late. My car couldn’t make up its mind whether it wanted to work or not and stalled the whole way here.” She laughed.
“That sucks. But you’re here now. Come on, let’s get a beer, everyone’s out back.” Britt started to the door, halting when she felt Kellie’s hand on her elbow.
Kellie bit her lip, looking over Britt’s shoulder to the back door. Smiling uneasily, she squinted. “You sure it’s okay I’m here?”
Yeah, she definitely heard Sarah. Britt turned to Kellie and mustered up a smile, even though she was mad as hell at Sarah at the moment. “This is my house and I invited you. It’s more than okay you’re here. I wouldn’t have invited you unless I wanted you here.”
Kellie nodded, and she could see a bit of her tension release. She started again to the door and hoped like hell Sarah behaved herself.
Grey had put out a few chairs earlier in the day. When Britt walked down the two steps to her yard, she noticed Grey at the grill talking with Jasper while Travis, Lucas, and a pinched face Sarah sat in the chairs. Travis looked over his shoulder and smiled when he glanced passed Britt.
