Wicked Deceptions: A novella Page 8

by B, Johnna

Thinking of her husband made Angela angry. All this time everyone was looking for him, he was probably laid up with one of his other bitches, laughing at Angela for stressing over him. He was a dirty dog, just like the rest. She wanted to hurt Adonis just like he had hurt her. Without even thinking about it, she leaned over and kissed Courtnie, surprising both of them. Courtnie didn’t resist; she went with it. Courtnie caressed Angela’s breasts through her shirt as their tongues did the tango. Angela didn’t really know what she doing, so she let Courtnie take over.

Courtnie pulled Angela’s shirt over her head and placed soft kisses down her collarbone. This sent chills up and down Angela’s spine. Courtnie loved the way Angela’s body melted under her touch. Her skin was silky smooth and hot to the touch. Courtnie pushed her bra up over her breasts and began to nibble on her dime-shaped nipples, making them hard as little pebbles. Angela couldn’t believe the way Courtnie was making her body feel. Every time Courtnie’s hands touched her, she felt tingles in that same spot. Courtnie gently bit Angela all over her breasts and stomach as she made her way back up to Angela’s lips. She sloppily put her tongue back into Angela’s mouth as she got down on her knees in front of Angela. Courtnie looked into Angela’s eyes and could see the hunger in them. she knew Angela wanted her to keep going. With her eyes locked on Angela’s, she reached behind Angela and unsnapped her bra. Next, she ran her hands down her back and stopped right where her leggings started and started tugging on them. Angela lifted up her hips, so Courtnie could slide them off.

Angela was scared shitless. She had never done anything like this before, but there was no turning back; she had already gone too far. She was brought out of her thoughts as she felt Courtnie licking up her leg. She stopped right where Angela’s pussy started and began to suck on the inside of her thigh. She watched in amazement at all the juices flowing from Angela’s sex. She ran her fingers up and down Angela’s slit, covering her fingers in her essences as she slid her fingers into Angela. Courtnie moved her fingers in and slowly and sucked Angela’s throbbing love button into. Angela felt her soul shake the moment Courtnie put her hot mouth on her clit. Courtnie spread her legs out as far they would go as she hungrily ate Angela’s pussy like it would be her last meal. Angela’s body began to spasm out of control as Courtnie brought her one orgasm after another. By the fourth one, she was squirming all over the couch, trying to get a away, but Courtnie had a firm grip on her thighs. Angela felt herself about to have another orgasm, and she didn’t know if her body could take it. Her body locked, and she was out for the night. Courtnie stood and smiled at her handy work. She put her fingers back into Angela, and her fingers came out covered in her creamy nectar. She looked at her fingers as she left Angela laying there on the couch.

Courtnie wasn’t worried about her waking up any time soon because the Rohypnol she had slipped into her drink would have her out for a while. She walked downstairs to finish what Angela couldn’t. She strutted over to Adonis with a wicked smile on her face. She rubbed her hands all over his mouth before she pried his mouth open with her fingers. Then, she began sliding her fingers up and down his tongue to let his dry taste buds savor what little essence they could suck up.

“Your wife has the best pussy I have ever tasted in my life,” she taunted as she licked his lips to get the left over residue.

Oh, my God! How could she do this? Why would Angela let her touch and have what’s mine? he asked himself as he felt his spirit die a little more. He looked at her with contempt in his eyes. If she where to ever let him go, he would squeeze the life out of her with his bare hands.

“Now, it’s your turn to finish what she couldn’t. I put that little hot tamale to sleep.” She teased as she inched toward him with a needle filled with what she now described as the get-hard-medicine.

Adonis turned his eyes to the ceiling. He had learned to make his mind go to a different place. Even though he couldn’t feel a thing, he no longer wanted to watch her violate his body.

“Do you think you make your wife feel the way I just did? I know you heard her crying to the gods?” Courtnie taunted him.

When he’d heard the moaning coming from upstairs, he tried to close his ears to it. He didn’t want to believe it, but he knew his wife’s passion sounds. His heart burned with hatred, he wanted to kill them both. Fuck you! Fuck you! I’m a man, bitch! You ain’t got no dick! Fuck out of here! He wished like hell she could hear him.

“Ummmmmm,” Courtnie moaned as she slid down his hard shaft.

She tried to not look into his face, he was starting to look bad. His eyes had begun to sink into their sockets. His facial features were now more pronounced. His cheekbones and jaw line stuck out more. As she bounced up and down on his pole, she realized that she hadn’t had to clean him up in a while. Had his kidneys stopped working like the good doctor told her they would? She wanted to let him go, but she would be all alone again. She couldn’t bear the thought of coming home to an empty bed again. Even though he couldn’t interact with her, she felt a special kind of peace with having his warm body next to hers. After she made herself climax a few times, she left him to his thoughts and went to tend to Angela.

Adonis watched Courtnie leaving the basement, with thoughts of his wife sleeping upstairs. He was hurt, angry, and beyond frustrated. If he could move, he’d snap his own neck and end it all, but he couldn’t. All he could do was lay there and fume, wondering what Courtnie’s crazy ass was going to do next.

  Chapter 14

  Always and Forever

When Angela woke up, she was disorientated. At first, she wasn’t sure where she was until she looked over and saw Courtnie sleeping peacefully next to her. Flashes of what had taken place played out in her head. She couldn’t believe what she had done! Angela, like most women, had fantasized about what it would be like to be with someone of the same sex, but she never imagined she would act on it. She was so embarrassed that she didn’t even know what to say, so she quietly grabbed her clothes and crept out of the bedroom.

Angela hurriedly put her clothes on in the living room, hoping she could make her exit before Courtnie woke up. She felt bad about dashing out on her like that, but she wasn’t sure what to say to her after what had happened. She needed to be alone to gather her thoughts. On her way to the door, she heard what sounded like a television playing behind the door leading to the basement. She found that strange since Courtnie told her she lived alone. She started to let it go, but nosiness got the best of her, and she crept to the door. She had just laid her hand on the knob, when Courtnie’s voice startled her.

“Can I help you find your way out?” Courtnie asked, with a slight attitude.

She would’ve hated to have to kill Angela to stop her from spoiling her plans, but if it came down to it she was more than willing.

“Oh! I’m sorry. I heard voices coming from the other room. I thought you said we were the only ones here,” Angela said.

“We are the only ones here. I watched a little TV while you slept last night and forgot to turn it off. Come on. Let me walk you out,” Courtnie offered. The fact that she hadn’t even mentioned how Angela was trying to creep out said she was upset.

“Sure,” Angela said, flashing a last glance at the door leading to the basement, before allowing Courtnie to lead her to the front door. She was about to offer Courtnie an explanation as to why she was leaving so suddenly, but, before she could, the front door slammed in her face.

Angela felt even worse now. She would have some flowers sent to Courtnie’s job with an apology note and hoped that it helped to make things right. Angela got in her car and turned the ignition, giving Courtnie’s house one last look. As she pulled out of the driveway, she couldn’t shake the feeling that she was leaving something behind.

Courtnie heard the doorbell while she was in the shower. It had to have been Hillary reporting for her shift. She had been so busy, she’d forgotten to call the agency and request another aid. Huffin
g, she got out of the shower, stark naked and went to answer the door.

Hillary was standing on the other side, smiling pleasantly when Courtnie opened the door, but, when she saw that Courtnie wasn’t wearing any clothes, the smile faded, and she looked embarrassed.

“Are you just going to stand there gawking or come in?” Courtnie asked.

“Oh! Umm, yes,” Hillary said, trying to hide her embarrassment. Without making eye contact, she walked past Courtnie and went into the basement.

“Hi, Mr. Randolph,” Hillary greeted Adonis with a smile when she entered the basement.

The smile faded when she got a closer look at him. Adonis’s cheeks were beginning to draw in, and his eyes were tinted slightly yellow. Courtnie had been so tied up with Angela that she had neglected to give Adonis his meds for the day.

“Oh, my goodness! You aren’t looking well. Let me get the pail and some sponges, so I can wipe you down.” She turned to gather what she needed.

“Help me,” Adonis said just above a whisper.

Hillary’s head snapped around. “Did you just say something?”

“You heard me?” he rasped, praying that it was really his voice and not the one in his head. He could just barely feel the sting of his dry and cracked lips.

“Yes, I can hear you! Let me get your wife. She is going to be so excited.” She turned to go and find Courtnie.

“No!” Adonis forced another word out.

Hillary was confused. “But your wife will want to know that—”

“Not my wife…” He cut her off. “Trapped…insane. Please!”

“Oh, my God! I knew something was off here,” Hillary said once Adonis had confirmed her suspicions.

Since the day she’d started working there, she’d felt like something was off with the couple’s strange relationship and picture-less home. Now, she had proof.

“I really wished you hadn’t done that.” A voice startled Hillary.

Hillary turned to find Courtnie standing behind her, holding a hammer. Before she could react, Courtnie clocked her in the head with the hammer, knocking her out.

“Please…stop,” Adonis begged, as Courtnie stood over Hillary to give her another whack.

The young home health aide had been kind to Adonis during his trying time, and he didn’t want to see her killed because of him. She was simply a pawn in Courtnie’s game of wicked deceptions.

Courtnie’s face twisted into a mask of rage. “You’re begging for this whore’s life?”

She hit Hillary again, now maddened with jealousy. She was angry at Adonis for begging for Hillary’s life, but more angry at herself for forgetting to dose him with the Special K. Her plan was now compromised.

“Please…just stop this…we have done nothing wrong to you,” Adonis said.

The more he spoke, the stronger his voice got. He was now even able to move his neck, but the rest of his body remained paralyzed. He was forced to watch helplessly as Courtnie continued to bash Hillary’s skull in.

When Courtnie was done with Hillary, she turned to Adonis. She looked like something out of a horror movie, covered in blood and eyes dancing with madness.

“You are mines! You will be with me in this life and the next life and the next life after that. I will follow you through the gates of hell if I have to, but you will be mines forever!”

  Chapter 15

  Reality Check

Angela was awakened abruptly from her peaceful slumber by someone banging on her door.

“What the hell?” she said to herself as she pulled her robe down off the door and slipped it on over her shoulders. “Who is it?” she yelled.

“The police, ma’am! Open up,” an officer said through the closed door.

“These muthafuckas again,” she huffed and snatched the front door open.

This time, instead of the two detectives, she was met by six officers in uniform.

“What do y’all want now? Is this about my husband?”

“Angela Edwards?” one of the officers asked.

“Yes,” she replied. Before she knew it, she was being placed in handcuffs. “What the hell are you doing?”

“Angela Edwards, you’re under arrest in connection with the disappearance of Adonis Edwards,” the officer told her before he began reading her rights to her. As they paraded Angela, in handcuffs, across the yard for all her nosey-ass neighbors to see, all she could think of how was how glad she was that her kids weren’t there to see it.

  ****

Angela had been sitting in an interrogation room, freezing her ass off for hours before someone finally came in to talk to her. Once again, she found herself sitting across the table from Detectives Marks and Johnson.

“Hello again, Mrs. Edwards,” Detective Marks greeted her. “I guess you’ve figured out by now that the fact you’re sitting here again, in handcuffs, this time, means we’ve found out you haven’t been completely truthful with us.”

“I’ve told you assholes everything I know already, so I don’t understand why the fuck I got dragged down here like a common criminal?” Angela snapped.

“There has been a development in the case,” Detective Johnson said.

There was something about the tone of his voice that made Angela uncomfortable. He produced a manila envelope and removed several pictures, which he slid across the table for Angela to see.

“Some might call this a coincidence. I call it conspiracy.”

With trembling hands, Angela began thumbing through the pictures, and her heart sank. They were of her and Courtnie, taken in front of Courtnie’s house the day they’d slept together.

“You had me followed,” Angela said in disbelief. She could only imagine what else they had found out.

“We follow all suspects, so don’t go feeling all special,” Detective Marks said sarcastically. “How long have you been involved with the woman in the picture?”

“We’re not involved. She owns the coffee shop downtown that Adonis and I go to. I was under a lot of stress, so she invited me by her place for drinks,” Angela told them. Her heart beat in her chest, wondering if they knew for sure that she’d slept with Courtnie or if they were just speculating. The last thing she wanted was for the dirty secret to go public and have Adonis find out, or worse, his mama.

“Considering that you were inside for nearly twelve hours, you guys must’ve had quite a few drinks, amongst other things,” Detective Marks said.

“I don’t know what it is you’re trying to say or what Courtnie has to do with it, but why don’t you just spit it out instead of playing the guessing game,” Angela said angrily.

“Glad you asked.” Detective Johnson smirked. “During the course of our investigation into your husband’s disappearance, we interviewed some eyewitnesses who identified this woman and your husband leaving a bar together not long before his disappearance. She was also positively ID’d by the manager of the hotel your husband was staying at during your little separation. She was last seen leaving his hotel, alone, on the day you said he went back to collect his things. Looks like your suspicions of him cheating on you weren’t totally baseless.”

Angela felt like her head had just been slapped backward. “What? Wait a minute! You think me and her conspired to have something done to my husband? You can’t put this on me. I stayed with my sister for a few days while Adonis was gone, and, from there, I went back home with the kids. You can ask my sister.”

“So you’re telling us you had no idea your husband had been with this woman?” Detective Johnson gave her a suspicious look.

“I had no clue. I went to the coffee shop to ask if she had seen my husband, and she told me that she hadn’t. I didn’t know that they knew each other outside of our visits to Coffee and Delicacies every morning. That’s as far as I thought it went.” Her eyes inadvertently went back to the pictures of her and Courtnie, and her stomach churned. “So, what now?”

“We cut you loose,” Detective Marks said, to her surprise. “We sp
oke to your sister an hour ago, and your story checks out.”

“You fucking bitch! You mean to tell me that you knew I didn’t have anything to do with it, and you’ve been in here fucking with my head all this time?” Angela was livid.

“Just because your sister verifies your alibi about your whereabouts doesn’t mean you’re off the hook,” Detective Johnson said. “Somehow, some way, I know you’re tied up in this, and, when we’re able to prove it, we’re going to nail you and whoever else is involved.”

“Whatever. Just cut me the fuck loose and expect to hear from my lawyer about this bullshit y’all done pulled.” Angela barked.

“Yeah, we’ll get someone to release you…eventually. In the meantime, just sit tight. We’re waiting on a judge to sign off on a warrant, so we can pay a visit to your little friend Courtnie,” Detective Marks informed her.

You better hope you get to the bitch before I do, Angela thought. She planned on mopping the floor with Courtnie’s white ass when she caught up with her.

The detectives got up to leave, but Detective Johnson had some parting words for Angela. “And Mrs. Edwards, try not leave town. We’ll likely be popping in on you again, real soon.” He winked at her before leaving with his partner.

The detectives left Angela alone with her thoughts. As she replayed the events in her head over and over, it all started to make sense. Courtnie had known who she was all alone, and it had been a setup, a setup that she foolishly walked right into.
