“Like what you see?” His lips curved up into confident smile.

“Un huh,” I nodded. “Come here,” I grinned when he leaned toward me, covering my body with his.

His hands roamed up my sides, pushing my t-shirt up under my arms. I squirmed to get out of it, and right when I tossed it to the side, his head dipped down causing his nose to skim up my collarbone. I reached down self-consciously trying to cover my small baby bump, but he wasn’t having it.

“Don’t,” he soothed as he pressed a kiss to the small swell. “You’re beautiful.”

I turned my head to the side to avoid his gaze, but he repeated himself as he coaxed my chin back in his direction. When our eyes connected once again, I could see it: the want. Wes wanted me exactly how I was. He wasn’t turned off by my changing body, and he was trying to show me that.

His fingers nimbly reached behind me and released the clasp of my bra causing my breasts to spring free. I watched his eyes dilate as he took them in. I’d always had average breasts, but pregnancy had caused them to swell. “God, you’re beautiful,” he whispered as he cupped one and gave it a gentle squeeze causing my eyes to roll back in my head.

“Mmmm,” I moaned just as I felt his warm mouth on me. He licked and sucked on the right one as his fingers kneaded the nipple on the left. My hands flew to his head gripping his hair as my hips lifted to rub against him. “Please?” I begged. I wasn’t sure what I was asking for, but I knew I wanted more. The throbbing between my thighs was almost unbearable. I’d never been this worked up. Alex was the only man I’d been with, and it was never like this.

“I’m just getting started baby,” he smiled against my breast as he let the nipple pop free from his lips. His fingers gripped the edge of my cotton shorts, and began slowly tugging them down my thighs. I wriggled from side-to-side as I attempted to help him remove them. I frowned when I noticed he was still wearing his shorts. He saw my eyes and chuckled, “If I get naked, I’m taking you now, and I’m not finished exploring.” He tossed my shorts to the floor and slid back up my body, skimming his nose up my thigh.

When he reached my center, he nuzzled against the wet satin. “Fuck, Angel,” he lightly grazed his finger across the dampness. “All this for me?” his eyes darkened even more when he looked up at me. I closed my eyes, embarrassed that he was seeing me like this. I’d always been shy in the bedroom, and the fact that it was daylight and he could see every imperfection I thought I had made it hard for me to relax.

“Stop thinking and just feel,” his finger trailed across me once more before slipping behind the wet satin. My eyes fluttered closed as a moan escaped me when his finger glided inside. “Damn,” he muttered appreciatively before he began removing my panties. “We need these off, now!” he tugged at them before giving up and ripping them, causing me to flinch. “I’ll buy you new ones,” he mumbled as he leaned forward and ran his tongue across me.

“Ahh!” I cried out as he pinned me down with his hands while he teased my clit.

“So fucking sweet,” he murmured. His fingers probed as his tongue explored, and incoherent words tumbled out of his mouth. Before I knew it, he was climbing from between my legs, to stand beside the bed. My eyes flew open thinking I’d done something wrong before taking in his actions. His fingers were nimbly reaching for the drawstring of his shorts, and as I stared in appreciation, he smirked at me. His hands grabbed the waistband, shoving both them and his boxers to the floor in one fell swoop. His cock sprang free, and my eyes flashed in wonder over the size. He was as beautiful as a marbled statue, and as he began to climb back on the bed, I couldn’t help but reach out to touch him.

He pulled away at first, but as soon as I pouted, he relented. “You had your fun, now it’s my turn.” I grinned as I wrapped my fingers around the velvet steel. His eyes squeezed closed as he froze, hovering over me. My fingers danced up and down his length a few times before pausing. I looked up at him and smiled, “What are you waiting for?” My hand left its position, and I lifted my arms to wrap them around his shoulders and tugged him to me.

The muscles in his biceps flexed as he held himself there, unrelenting. I tipped my head to the side as I watched him keep space between us. His brow was furrowed, his jaw tight, every muscle flexed with restraint. “Wes,” I caressed his chest as I tried to get his attention. “I’m already pregnant if you’re worried about protection. I trust you,” I soothed. His eyes wouldn’t connect with mine as he stared at a spot on the pillow above my head. “Wes?” I tried again.

He blinked down at me as the pained expression grew. “My best friend is going to fucking kill me when he finds out what I’ve done.” The way he said it put me right back in his basement all those years ago when we’d made out on the couch in the dark. It was just kissing then, but this man was always so honorable with me that he couldn’t follow his own advice.

“Stop thinking and just feel,” I whispered his words back to him as I lifted my head and pressed my lips to his. He stayed stiff for a moment, but as I parted his lips with my tongue teasing my way in, he finally broke. His body lowered to mine, he lined us up, and he rocked his hips forward. The moment he slid inside me, it was as if we were destined for this. A feeling of completeness filled me, and my entire body sighed in contentment.

“Are you okay,” he whispered against my lips as he paused. I nodded as my hands slipped down his back, and my arms tightened around him.

“Yes, move,” I grinned before lifting my hips causing him to sink deeper.

“Fuck, Angel!’ he growled before springing into action. His hips rocked into me with slow steady strokes as one hand gripped my hip while the other went back to pinching my nipple. “You’re so perfect. You’re going to ruin me; I’ve never gone bareback before. Fuck!” he kept muttering as his hips slowly picked up their tempo.

“Wes,” I cried out as my legs began to shake. I could feel it coming, and I knew he was close, too.

“Come for me, baby. Don’t ever hold back,” he sped up, losing his rhythm and what little control he had left. Just when I started to fall over the edge, he began slamming into me. His grip on my hip tightened– I was going to have a bruise come morning– as his head dropped to bury itself in the crook of my neck. His body stiffened and I felt him swell before spilling into me, which caused me to spiral further into mindlessness.

He paused as he tried to calm his breathing before he lifted his head to look at me. A lopsided grin slid into place as he lifted a hand and trailed his fingertips across my forehead, pushing a stray hair out of my eyes. “Hi,” he grinned.

“Hi,” I beamed back as I reached up and cupped his jaw. “I’m glad you finally came to your senses,” I teased before pressing a light kiss against his cheek. He didn’t say anything so I pressed on. “I’ve been waiting all of my life for you.” He nodded silently before slipping out of me and rolling to the side.

When the cool air of the room hit my sweaty skin, I couldn’t help but shiver. “Come here,” he held his arms open, beckoned me into his embrace, and wrapped us up under the covers. “Relax. We can nap for a bit before dinner. I’ll wake you,” he pressed a kiss to my forehead before yawning and closing his own eyes. The time difference was catching up to us, but I didn’t care. I was right where I wanted to be, with the person I wanted to be with, doing what I always dreamed of doing. At that moment, my life was perfect.

  Chapter 18

  Wes

Things would be different now. She was mine, and I was going to keep it that way. The guilt came full force when I felt her shift beside me. We’d fallen asleep after some of the best sex I’d ever had. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been with a lot of women, but Angel is different. It meant something with her. She was the first one since Vicki that’s made me want more. Cole would surely beat my ass when he finds out about this; I can see it now.

“What’s wrong?” Angel’s murmured beside me. I could feel her warm heat as she lifted her leg, and placed it across my lap.

&n
bsp; I was propped up against the headboard with Angel curled into my side. “Nothing,” I brushed my worry away and plastered on a smile as I peered down at her.

“Don’t lie to me. I’ve had enough lying from men,” she scowled as she slowly began to sit up. The sheet covering her slipped down, exposing her breasts, and I couldn’t help wanting her again.

“I’m not lying; I am just thinking about things.” I tried to be elusive.

“Well, stop,” she grinned as one hand began to slip beneath the sheet.

I had an idea of where she was going, but when her fingers brushed across me, I couldn’t help but groan. “Angel, we’re never going to get dinner if you keep that up.”

“We could order in,” she tipped her head to the side as her fingers wrapped around me. The sheet slipped from our bodies, and Angela shifted herself until she was straddling me. “I’ve waited too long for this, Champ.”

“Sounds like I’ve awakened a beast,” I teased as she lifted herself up on her knees to hover over me.

“It’s been almost two months, and I’m pregnant. Every cell in my body wants you,” she whispered lowered herself onto my rock hard erection.

I knew it’d be good with her, but I didn’t realize how good. As her hot little body began to encase me, her head fell back, and a groan slipped from her lips. Her eyes fluttered closed, and as soon as she started moving, I couldn’t help but grip her hips and help her.

It was a first for me, letting a woman take the lead, but it was fucking awesome. She began bouncing, and as her tits bounced in front of my face, I couldn’t help but lean forward and capture one with my mouth.

“Wes! Oh god, I’m so close!” she panted as she ground herself down on me. I grinned in satisfaction as I let one hand slide closer to where we were joined. I began rubbing small circles on her clit with my thumb as my teeth gently bit down on her nipple. Her head thrashed as her hands flew to my shoulders. “Harder!” she squealed as our combined efforts began to speed up.

All that could be heard at this point were Angel’s screams and the slapping of our sweaty bodies. I would have given anything to be a voyeur in that room at that moment. It was a beautiful sight. Angel in the throes of passion as my cock speared her over and over.

“Fuck!” I growled as I felt the orgasm rush to the surface. She was a quivering mess on top of me, and as she collapsed against my chest, I couldn’t help but release a sigh and wrap my arms around her. “You ready to get cleaned up and go get some dinner?” I chuckled as I caressed her back. “We need to eat if we’re going to keep this up.”

“Can’t we stay in?” her lip pushed out as she peered up at me.

“No. If you don’t leave this room, we won’t be eating. I can’t risk you jumping me again,” I teased as I slowly shifted her off my lap. “I want to take you out,” I rose from the bed, and began to saunter toward the bathroom.

“Like on a date?” she giggled, and I glanced over my shoulder. She was still on the bed, but had rolled onto her side and was staring at me with hunger in her eyes once again.

“Stop looking at me like that,” I teased. “I need to shower. You’ve given me quite a workout.”

“Fine,” she huffed as she rolled to her back. “Hurry up. I need a shower, too, that is unless you’d like to share?” She blinked up at me innocently.

“Come on,” I relented and waved my arm toward the bathroom. She giggled as she pranced past me, and she jumped when I swatted her rear. “Good thing we had a nap, I have a feeling it’s going to be a late dinner with the way we’re going.”

“I’m making up for lost time,” she tossed over her shoulder as she leaned into the shower, and turned the nob, bringing it to life.

  ooooooooo

  Angela

To say that we were able to get cleaned up, and out of the hotel quickly would have been a lie. After I attacked Wes in the bed, I went after him in the shower, too. He was a good sport and didn’t seem to upset over it. Now that I’d finally gotten him to give in to his desires, it seemed pretty easy to convince him to take me when I wanted him. Pregnancy had really done a number on my hormones, and as we began walking down the street to a small Italian eatery I used to love, I couldn’t help but think about what the night would be like when we got back to the room.

“Could you stop staring at me like you want to eat me for dinner?” he chuckled as we walked hand-in-hand down the sidewalk. We were two blocks from The Piazza, and I couldn’t help but stare. Despite the warm weather, Wes had worn a pair of kakis and a white linen shirt. He’d rolled the sleeves up to right below the elbows, and styled his hair kinda messy. I was truly surprised that he’d packed something so nice since we were probably going to be eating lots of fast food over the course of our trip.

“I’m enjoying the view, sue me,” I shrugged as I glanced down at his backside once again. Now that I knew what he looked like without the pants, I couldn’t help but picture him that way.

“You look pretty amazing yourself,” he smiled as we reached the door to the restaurant, and held it open for me. I scoffed slightly as I brushed my hands down the front of my cotton sundress. It was simple, but I needed something loose that would fit over my ever growing waistline. I wasn’t big enough to need maternity clothes, but the regular stuff was starting to get snug. I was just thankful that it was summer. Summer clothes that would work were easier to find.

“Hi. Good evening,” the hostess smiled at us and ran her eyes up and down Wes appreciatively. I know, bitch; he’s mine, I thought as I wrapped my arm around his bicep and squeezed lightly. His brow furrowed as he glanced down at me before leading me to our table.

“I like this jealous side of you,” he teased as he pulled out my chair to help me sit.

  “I’m not jealous,” I grumbled.

“Sure, you’re not,” he chuckled before glancing up at the hostess and winking.

My blood began to boil as I watched him flirt with her before he turned back in my direction, “Still sticking with not being jealous?”

  “Whatever,” I looked away.

His foot nudged me under the table as he tried to get my attention. When I turned back toward him, he narrowed his eyes and growled, “Don’t ever lie to me about your feelings. I’ve been in a relationship like that and I will not go back.”

I nodded. “Fine! I was jealous. Are you happy?”

“That you admitted it? Yes,” he smirked. “What are you going to eat?” he motioned to the menu as the server approached our table.

I grinned as my mouth watered over all the choices. It had been so long since I’d been here, and I’d missed it. “I’ll take The Daily Special and a water, thanks,” I handed the menu over and grinned at Wes’s gaping mouth.

“That’s a lot of food Angel,” he gasped.

“I’m hungry,” I shrugged. “I worked up an appetite, and I’ve got a little one to feed.”

“I’ll have the same, but give me a scotch too, neat,” he handed the folded menu to the server.

Just as the server stepped away, a guy began approaching our table. I wasn’t sure what to make of it at first, but the closer he got the more confident he seemed. He cleared his throat as he stared at Wes. “I thought it was you.”

“Do I know you?” Wes turned slightly in his chair across from me, obvious confusion spreading across his face.

“You’re Wes McKay,” the guy’s smile broadened. “I saw you fight in Vegas several years ago,” he stood a little straighter as if he was waiting for something. “For the record, I never believed you did what they said you did.”

It was as if a light flicked on as all the pieces clicked together. I saw the man who used to grace ads in magazines, and do press conferences come to life right in front of me. “Thanks,” he stood and held his hand out for the guy. “I don’t do any of that anymore, though.”

“You should. You were amazing,” the guy’s enthusiasm was palpable as he stood there gawking. “Wait until I tell my buddies I got to mee
t you.”

“Well,” Wes glanced in my direction as I saw regret cloud his face. “If you don’t mind I’d like to get back to my date. It was nice meeting you,” he shook this guy’s hand again, and then seated himself effectively ending the conversation. “Sorry,” he cringed. “I haven’t had that happen in years.”

“It’s ok,” I let a small smile slip into place. By this point, our server brought our dishes out, and with it, a lighter mood.

“This looks delicious,” Wes groaned as he scooped a large forkful of pasta into his mouth. “Mmmm,” this is going to be hours in the gym to work it off. “You’re going to be the death of me,” he mumbled around the bite.

I couldn’t help but giggle as I watched him. He looked so young and carefree now. I’d seen so many sides of this man since I’d gotten back home that I wasn’t sure who the real Wes was anymore. “He’s right, you know?” I sipped my water as I continued to watch him eat. “About fighting. You were amazing,” I whispered and Wes froze, mid-bite.

“That part of my life is over. I couldn’t go back even if I wanted to,” he murmured as he turned and stared out at nothing in particular, sadness clouding his features.

“Why not?” I placed my fork beside my plate as I shifted all my attention to our conversation.

“It’s not that easy,” he blew out a breath. “First, I was accused of some pretty bad stuff. People don’t forget that. Second, I’m outta shape.” My eyes bugged out at that, and he chuckled. “Fighting shape,” he clarified. “Third, I’d need a trainer, and PR, and I’d need somewhere that would give me a shot.”

“I know you don’t want to hear this,” I lowered my voice so only he could hear, “but what about fighting on the amateur level again?”

“That would be like fucking starting over,” he shook his head.

“You can prove that you’re good enough on your own,” I reasoned. “You don’t need a manager and all that. Do things your way,” I shrugged as I began picking at my food. “At least think about it.”
