“Did you enjoy that?” Nicholas asked, drawing her closer to him on the bed.
Page made a noise of affirmation deep in her throat. “Very much,” she said, eyes fluttering closed. Nicholas stroked her back lightly, the sensation drawing shivers out of her. “That’s lovely.”
Nicholas kissed her again, pressing his body close to hers. “I love you,” he said again, and the two lovers drifted to sleep still tasting the blood they now shared.
