“No,” Turner replied, shaking his head. “You’re right. Of course you’re right.”
“If you think differently of me now and don’t want me to go back to L.A. with you then I’ll understand,” she told him.
“Of course I still want you,” he replied, kissing her lips.
“Are you sure?”
“Never been more sure of anything.”
They passionately kissed each other for another couple of minutes. Cole looked at them and rolled his eyes, grunting.
“Glad that this’ll all be over soon,” he stated.
“Wait a minute,” Turner said, taking a break from kissing. “I just remembered. You still have another year of this.”
“Yeah. It’ll go by fast,” she reassured.
“I hope so.”
Parker then looked at her watch and hit a few buttons.
“What are you doing?” Turner wondered.
“One year from the date we got Heath. Clock’s ticking,” she smiled, as her and Turner passionately began kissing again.
