Staring up at the ceiling with Victoria in his arms, James couldn’t help but smile. Softly, he offered, “If you want, I could pay off the store loan for you.”

Twisting around and propping herself up on her arm to stare down at him, she shook her head, “I don’t want that; I don’t want you for your money.” With a sultry look in her eyes, she ran her hand down his chest, curling her fingers around his erection, “I want you for your body.”

He laughed out loud then gasped as she stroked him. Damn, even though they had just made love, he was quickly preparing to have another go at it. But then she stopped and looked down at him with a grave expression. Reaching up, he tugged on a strand of her hair, “What is it?”

“Actually,” she caught her full, lower lip between her teeth and he wanted to bite her. “I was wondering if you might give me a reduced rate for designing my website.”

His smile was slow and a little predatory, “I’ll do it for a kiss.”

“You’re so easy,” she purred, lowering her head and kissing him with all of the love in her heart.

  Epilogue

James kissed the smattering of freckles on his wife’s nose as she fed their youngest child. After fifteen years of marriage, four children, three sons and a little girl, he was even more in love with Victoria. They had weathered so much over the years and his love for her only deepened. It had been a huge blessing when her parents decided to take over My Romance after the birth of their first child three years after they wed. Little Jeremy had had the worst colic and Victoria was the only one who could keep him from crying by holding him and singing to him at all hours of the night and day. It had been impossible to stay awake all night and then try to face customers during the day.

Of course the elder Jeremy wanted to add more manly stuff to the shop and rename it Boobs and Bombs but he was quickly vetoed. James was almost certain the old Marine had been joking. Once Little Jeremy outgrew his colic Victoria expanded her business, creating a thriving internet marketplace and cyber community of artisans and customers.

Michael and Stephen came four years later, the twins a royal handful, especially with an older brother whom they worshipped. It had seemed that they were going to be blessed with only three sons when Victoria discovered she was pregnant on her thirty-eighth birthday. It had been a wonderful shock.

Brushing a strand of dark hair from his little girl’s face, he beamed, “She’s going to be spoiled.”

“I know,” Victoria smiled softly, resting her head against James’s chest. “With all of her brothers and all of her male cousins, we’ll never have to worry about boyfriends bothering her.”

“Mom has already spent a fortune on girly things,” he rolled his eyes but he continued to smile. “And Lia is only seven weeks old.”

“My mom is just as bad,” she chuckled and he nodded his head in complete agreement. Victoria sighed, a serene smile on her lips, “I love you, James.”

Taking the baby from her arms, he gently laid Lia down in the bassinet next to the bed. Victoria’s lush breast was still uncovered and his groin tightened. Wrapping her in his arms, pulling her further into him, he kissed the sensitive spot behind her ear and whispered, “I don’t have to be at work for another two hours; what about you?”

“I have plans with Taylor and our dad but that’s not until this afternoon.”

God, he loved her. “I suppose he wants to see the kids.”

“Yep.” Stretching her arms above her head, she smiled her sensuous smile that still brought him to his knees.

“Are you sure?” he asked, afraid of hurting her.

“Yes,” she breathed as James gently pushed into her. She arched off the bed, her eyes slamming shut in pleasure. “Oh, yes.”

Smiling, James let Victoria know exactly how much he loved her. And nine months later, little Jacqueline Templeton joined the world.
