Pain grabbed the console for support. “Fuck, she gonna fight them.”

Pain watched as it played out. They could hear the bi-play on Morgan’s bridge. Her giving orders to her men and the information coming back.

As they left the Station they shot straight for the on coming fleet. The console bent under the pressure of his hands. Morgan launched a series of missiles, turned and shot in another direction. Then fired again. Zigg Zagged and fired again.

The oncoming fleet broke apart but not all of them could miss the missile spread. Their clocking systems came down on them. 18 Ships came into focus. Fuck. Thought Pain.

“Battle stations.” Rage called out. 5 Ships split off and headed in her direction, 3 into the latest on coming missiles from her ship. It became clear that the pirate ships would intercede her. Pain couldn’t look away, he waited and watched. He was desperate to be with her. To help her. “Give me intercept count down.” He called out.

“5.9 seconds to intercept.” Move it Morgan, thought Pain

“5 seconds to intercept.” Pain started breathing heavy

“4 seconds.” Fuck move now Morgan his brain cried out

  “3 seconds.”

“Fuck they’ll be caught.” Slipped passed his lips. His desolation clear in every word, as Morgan screamed “Fire. Punch it.” She discharged all weapons and shot forward at a speed not expected. He looked back to see the two ships explode in her wake, her ship taking some battering as it shot away.

Pain stared at the screen. And breathed. She’d got away. Morgan’s voice came over the audio.

“Admiral, we are free and clear. 8 Bad guys down. Good hunting. Purgatory out.” He slumped into his chair. What she’d done was not logical, a Cyborg would never have done it. Dark touched his shoulder. Pain turned to him.

“A soldier to be proud of.”

  ***

Morgan read the report on the Station attack. There’d been a massive firefight with the guns from the Station and the Cyborg fleet arriving in time to fend them off. The pirates were crushed. Working together was something new for them. Investigations were on going. No injuries were reported on the Station. It had been six weeks since the attack and they were well into their journey back to Earth Corp. She put down her data pad. A knock announcing Ted’s arrival. “You eat anything?”

Morgan shook her head. “Not really but I’m ok.” He handed her some tea.

  “Thanks.”

“Long trip, get some rest nothing on sensors.” Morgan nodded. She could sleep.

  ***

256 Days he’d waited for her to return. Every day he’d sort an update. Made sure the schedule was on time and every day she got nearer. After the attack, his systems had started to degrade. They didn’t know why. Mac thought it might have something to do with mating but, Pain didn’t know for sure. They’d had to shut him down and re-boot him. More than once. Then Mac had been able to synthesise something close to Morgan’s scent and it had helped. So did the knowledge that Morgan had made a formal request for her team to be based at the Station. That, had surprised him but he was more than happy with it. They were due in 2 days. Medical had been requested for their arrival. It didn’t say why and that ate away at him, he couldn’t help but think, all manner of things were wrong.

By the time Purgatory docked he was a wreak. He was waiting with Rage, Dark and their females. Along with the whole Station Council. They’d come to thank the ship for it’s success in the raid. Pain was itching to move. The door’s opened and as before Morgan’s three boys came down the ramp and took up position. Then a selection of her team came out to form the honour guard.

But he couldn’t see Morgan and started forward. Rage grabbed his arm. A cry came from within the craft and then was muffled. Morgan walked out slowly followed by Ted ……. carrying a baby.

Pain’s brain stutter to a stop. He swallowed. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Morgan came towards them and stopped at the Admiral. “Requesting permission for R &R.” She asked.

Rage glanced at the baby and Ted’s huge grin.

  “Granted.”

“I’d like to introduce you to my daughter Admiral. This is Amber Joy.”

“Daughter?” Roared Pain. His brain started working again. Someone had fucked and seeded HIS MATE!

Morgan turned towards him. “Yes. Daughter. Hello Daddy.”

Pain completely stilled, then dropped to the floor, passed out.

“You got pregnant?” Mac looked shocked and looked at Kim. She looked shocked herself. “We need to look at that ok. Do you need medical?” Mac looked from her to the baby and down to Pain, then back to her.

Morgan shook her head and smiled. “We’re both in excellent health, the baby came early, she grew fast, the nano’s I expect, I kept a record for you, but we could do with a check up later if your free?” Mac nodded.

“If I get to hold that baby, any time you like.” Mac told her grinning.

Kim elbowed Rage out the way and walked to Ted arms out. “Gimmy.” She told him. Ted looked at Morgan, she nodded. He handed Amber over to her.

“Hello gorgeous. I’m your Aunty Kim and that’s your Aunty Mac, we are going to have so much fun you and I.” She bent and kissed the babies head. The baby gurgled at her. Kim’s face lit up.

“Who needs medical then?” Mac asked.

Morgan pointed to Pain. “Him.” She’d had plenty of time to understand Pain. She knew her man and his faults and he loved her. And in her heart she knew she loved him too. She had her own demons and she needed to move passed them. They had created something beautiful and unexpected. The pit in her stomach from her years of pain, had gradually disappeared during her pregnancy. If she were honest with herself, it started with Pain and his need of her. Her life now felt full and perfect.

She opened herself to it, knowing as long as he breathed, Pain would never allow anything to hurt them. Besides, she’d be fighting right by his side protecting their way of life.

  As she’d once told Ted, he’ll do…..

  The End….

  Description:

  WARNING SEXUALLY EXPLICIT NOVEL.

Note to readers, if you’re looking for hot dominant men, kick ass females and a steamy read, you just found it. Enjoy! If you like the work of Anna Hackett and Eve Langlais you will like this.

He'd seen war at it's worse. Done terrible things in its name. To survive, his emotions had been severed. Now they were free and he was his namesake, ANGR.

He battled every waking moment. His emotions so long suppressed, waged their own war within him. He was volatile and deadly. The war he’d been created for had ended, to some extent. Now they fought to control their space and for other Cyborgs. Protect the humans. The innocent. Those left to fend for themselves on the edges of the Universe, shoved aside and discarded to fate. He and his brethren, knew all about that. Cyborgs had been created, used as fodder or worse, then passed around and used again. Their freedom had come at a deadly cost. One, he'd willingly paid, time and time again. And still did.

General of his fleet. They defended their Space Station and searched for other Cyborgs, lost or stolen, discarded and damaged. He would make those that harmed them, pay for what they'd done. It was his mission and no one, got in the way of a Cyborg...... and lived.

Blake searched the stars for her quarry. She was a ghost. Bounty and contracts were her life. It was in her blood. Several generations of bounty hunters had gone before her and she was dam good at it. It made her wealthy and a name, and she loved the life. She didn't need complicated. She worked hard and played even harder. She was a female in a man dominated world. She had to fight to get what she wanted and use the tools she had, to make it work. It hadn’t been easy. She was alone and no-one, but her uncle really knew her. And she liked it that way. Men were the bane of her life. They tried to dominate and take over, and she was ne
ver, willingly, having that in her life any more than she already did.

This time it was an easy recon. Search out the 'magical engineer' that could produce engines no one else could, secure their intel and equipment order. An easy tag.

Only one problem, they were based on the new Cyborg Empires Space Station and it was rumoured, that this ‘magical engineer’ was married to a Cyborg! Seriously? This time getting in and out unseen, wasn't gonna be an option …..

Well then, Blake smiled, she'd have to use ........... other means and she was very, very good at that….

  A word from the Author.

Hello, I'm Jessie and I thank you for buying this book! I know you did not have to.

There are so many choices out there. It's a wonderful feeling knowing that someone else will enjoy one of my stories. And for me, it's about telling a story that I'd like to read myself.

I am not caught up in POV or literacy genius. It's simply not me or my style and I will never be that person, so I apologize to all those who are focused on the POV and the genius of literacy. I envy those that are.

On the days where my pain and meds stop my thinking processes, writing these books have been my lifeline. It reminds me that I still have the ability to rise to the challenge and that I refuse to go quietly into the night. God forbid!

But, I'm a person just like you, who wants to bring some passion into my life and yours, and put a good story out there that's hard to put down, that brings some escapism, sexy fun and pleasure into your reading. We all love a bit of that!

And, I hope I achieve that for you in this book. I sincerely hope you enjoy it so much that you want to look out for the next in the series. (Coming soon) And if I'm lucky, you will have had such a good time, you'll recommend it to your friends and I thank you kindly.

My very best wishes to you and yours. Jessie x

  CHAPTER ONE

“…ake, you need to rise. The sensor alarm has gone off.”

The droning alarm penetrated her brain more than the computer message, but it did the job. Turning she opened her eyes and yawned.

“Immediate danger?” She asked the computer

“None. There is a firefight on-going at our destination. We picked it up on long range scanners. It is blocking our approach.”

“Stop engines.” She told the computer.

  “Affirmative.”

Blake sat up and frowned. Who’d be stupid enough to take on a Space Station? Blake shook her head. Bloody Pirates! Throwing off the covers she reached for her combat trousers and slipped them on. Pulling her T over her head and slipping into her boots, she headed to the door of her bunkroom, it opened automatically, and she jogged to the bridge.

“Give me visual Maggie.” She called to the computer as she jumped into the captain’s chair.

“Visual on screen. I am boosting using the Space Station.”

“Danger to us?” Blake asked scanning the images.

“None.” Blake was torn, she rubbed a hand over her face. She didn’t like the idea of pirates getting their hands on a Space Station and if rumours were true, they’d already done this some months back and it had not been good.

“Can we support the Space Station?”

“Negative, we are too far out.”

Blake watched the bi-play. A ship had left the docking port and headed straight for the on coming ships, fired and turned, zigg zagged and fired again. They were doing some serious damage to the oncoming ships. Blake had to admit, that was some gutsy moves. She watched as it sped off in another direction followed by a number of the ships chasing after it. Dum move, thought Blake, that captain was too good. The lead ship fired again and several more of the chasers were damaged. Err Derr, Blake shook her head. Then the ship shot forward, leaving the others in their wake, with speed Blake could only dream of. She smiled. Her magical engineer was close.

Blake turned her attention back to the main screen and watched the remaining ships come under fire from the Space Station. Blake assessed the fire power. That wouldn’t be enough. The ships made a dash for the Station seeing it lacked the fire power to keep them at bay.

  “In-coming ships.” Maggie told her.

  “Are we cloaked?”

  “Affirmative.”

Several ships slipped their dock at the Station at the same time. The new comers moved to surround the attacking fleet from behind. They were now surrounded, caught in the middle and would be easy targets. It had been a precise battle move, to lure their opponents in. A very good one.

“Maggie, keep us out of the way of any stray fire.”

  “Acknowledged.”

Blake watched it play out. It was clear how it was going to end. Whoever the attackers were, they were done. It was clear that the defence of the Station was some of the best. Whoever captained the lead ship in the new arrivals, knew what he was doing. It moved with precision, anticipated the engagement and reacted. It was both ruthless and vicious. No quarter given. They went for the kill. Blake had to admire the work. It left no argument. They’d be few survivors. Not that it bothered her. No. They had ch
osen to attack the Space Station, they knew the odds. It was a poor plan. Not worthy of Cyborgs. Had it been just humans, maybe it would have stood a chance but then again, a good defence could combat most things, if they were competent and led right. Those attackers were neither.

It was soon over. Ships were scattered and broken. The visual switched to those ships being boarded, the signal bounced from the feed to the Space Station. She didn’t need to see this.

“Maggie cut feed. Monitor for anything coming at us. Move us four clicks out and hold for 48 hours. Then make our presence known and request docking.”

  “What designation are we using?”

Blake smiled she had no identification on her vessel. It gave her freedom to choose one from an extensive list of registered vessels. “Let’s use the Company name Maggie. I’m not ghosting this time. Let them know I’m coming.”

  “Affirmative.”

Angr stood on the bridge of the lead Pirate ship. They’d found prisoners held in appalling conditions. The women were badly damaged. Held in little more than fucking stations, hands and feet handcuffed to the walls. Some of the male prisoners too. Angr rode his emotions. He’d given no quarter and it didn’t seem enough. He looked around him disgusted. The men that ran these ships deserved to die slowly. He’d been generous to those first ones and they’d died quickly. Those left, his men would take their time killing. None would survive for these atrocities.
