‘I love you, Mrs. Harte,’ Julian said scooping Eva into his arms and laying her back against the office couch.
Eva glanced at the hard bulge in Julian’s trousers. She wrapped her fingers around his tie and pulled him close to her. He placed a hand at each side of her shoulders and held his weight just above her, careful not to lean on her bump. Her pregnancy was driving his sex drive through the roof, but he was gentle and tentative and his throbbing cock and deep groan were the only signs of his urgency. She ran her tongue over his bottom lip and exhaled with a soft moan.
‘I love you too, Mr. Harte. Let’s play.’
End of Round Three.
Game over.

I love writing, but somehow when it comes to this part words fail me. There’s always so much I want to say to so many people that I’m sure I sound like a rambling idiot. So, here I go again…
Editing sucks. Simple. I hate rereading and rereading a book that I’ve already had circling around my head for six months, but it’s a necessary evil, and it’s made much less horrific when you have an awesome editor. Jenny Sims I love working with you. Your notes make me smile, you don’t think I’m a crazy Irish Person (well, you do, but you hide it well lol) and by the time we’re done I know I have a book to be proud of. Thank you.
I’m a lucky girl to have made some very lovely writer friends. Natalie Martin and Caroline Batten are my go-to-girls for advice, a rant and general hand holding. I know, without any doubt, if it wasn’t for them I would never have hit that publish button. Thank you both for being such good friends.
‘Mom, Mom, Mom…’ I hear that word stuck on repeat in my house, and sometimes (all the time) it’s hard to concentrate with a little person demanding my attention. But my kids are the best. I know everyone thinks that about their own; but mine really are lol. Thank you for being you.
Publishing books does funny things to your head. One day you can be on top of the world, sales are going well and the reviews are good. The next day you can be a blubbering mess, sales have plummeted and reviewer’s eyes are bleeding. My poor husband is, I’m sure, sick of listening to be rant on and on and ON! I love you, baby. Thank you for loving me back.
Thank you to my lovely Brooke’s Book Bitches ladies. You make me smile and you keep my spirits up when I need it. And, most of all, you have my back and I love you all for it.
Lastly and so importantly, thank you, my readers. I started writing this series to challenge myself and to see if anyone actually wanted to read what I wrote. I won’t lie, I found writing Queen of Harte’s much harder than the first two books. I so wanted to give Julian and Eva the ending they deserved and I wanted that ending to live up to readers expectations. I hope I’ve achieved both.
And, as always, my virtual door is wide open if you’d like to stop by and let me know how you got on reading. Here’s where you can find me.

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the Harte Series as much as I enjoyed writing it. My new series SCRUBS is coming late 2015. I hope you’ll stop by and meet Lucas Callaghan.
Love,
Brooke x
