The Trespasser’s Unexpected Adventure wouldn’t have been finished without the perseverance of my husband, Peter, my strongest critic and biggest fan. Thank you for all your love, encouragement and support. For understanding my hours at the computer and distractedness at the dinner table, I also thank my awesome children, Daniel and Amy.
Words cannot express my gratitude to Iola Goulton for her professional advice and assistance in editing The Trespasser. Thank you for everything you taught me.
Amanda Swanepoel, you were a delight! You’re unshakeable belief in what I was doing helped pick me up, dust me off and put me back on track many times. I’ll be forever grateful; thank you.
Jean Anderson, your proofing and comments were insightful and invaluable; I treasure your support. Etheljoy Smith, your belief in me and my writing kept me going.
Melanie, your enthusiasm to read my first draft was refreshing and your comments were more than helpful. Your ideas about kayaking and mountain climbing set me on the right path.
Others who taught me included Brent Martin, who took me abseiling and sent me over the edge. Thanks for keeping me safe! The professional insights of Rose Cherringon, a retired constable with NZ Police, helped me to shape the fighting scenes. Thank you so much for your excellent contribution Rose.
I couldn’t have come up with the ideas of the motocross tricks without Phil Falconer’s input. Shane Harrison, I look forward to one day racing in a Ferrari with you! Alright, maybe we’ll just end up watching someone else race in a Ferrari, but it’s nice to dream…thanks for all your petrol-head advice.
