She whimpered. Her clit ached despite the man who touched her, or the anger she felt toward him. Her body had been well trained, and not by Tearlach, but by the man he hated above all others. Davien Blood.
She caught her bottom lip between her teeth and struggled not to give into the first glimmers of pleasure that threatened to burn a path through her body. Her thighs clenched as he reached between her thighs fully and pinched her clit. She half sobbed, her hips bucking beneath the unwanted touch.
“Yes, you remember what my touch is like, don't you?” He growled and rolled her clit between his finger and thumb. “Your body has missed this.”
No, god, no. Not now.
She couldn't stop how her body was reacting. Her inner walls rippled and clenched, pressure built within her being until she struggled to stay still beneath his touch. He stroked along her nether lips, parting them fully with a single stroke.
“Such a tight, wet little hole, you haven't lost that have you?” He laughed and slipped one finger into her body, teasing her inner walls. “I'll bury myself within you soon enough, whore.”
Heat marked her cheeks. She whimpered and tried to shut out what was happening. She couldn't. Not with the way his hand was between her thighs. Or the desire he triggered within her. No, it's not him, it's the way I've been trained. She moaned and pressed back into his touch, her thighs taut, heat marking a devastating path through her body. Her nipples tightened fully into pips as she rocked on his lap.
“Wanton little whore.”
No, I'm not like that. I'm just— this is how I've been taught, trained— I can't help it.
She stopped fighting, her hips rolled with each new touch, slick heat coating her inner thighs and walls alike. Her body was no longer hers to control. Davien, Tearlach, all of the men that had used her before, had seen to that. She sobbed out. Her body bucked and twisted beneath his touch as she lost the ability to speak.
He didn't give her a chance to think, to stop him, all she could do was react to his touch. Pleasure and pressure surged through her being. She squirmed, sobbed and writhed on his lap. Her body pushed toward the edge of sanity. He didn't care. All that mattered was her obedience to his desires.
She kicked as it hit fully. Her hands clenched. Her inner walls threatened to clench tighter with every passing moment.
“Come for me, slut. Come for me now!”
She didn't have a choice. It hit fully, like a punch in senses. She arched across his lap, sobbing as she did so. Her thighs clenched, closing on his hand. Tearlach. She didn't want it to be Tearlach, but this was how it was now. Davien hadn't been able to come to her in time. Nor had she wanted him to at first. Not until it was too late.
She screamed in pleasure and hunger combined.
Then it was gone. His hand moved from between her thighs and she felt herself pushed to the floor. Her body shook, limbs weak and trembling from what she had been through. Yet he didn't care. Why would he. She'd obeyed, and accepted her punishment, then found herself used and tossed aside as any slut might be once the master was done with her.
Tears pricked at her eyes, but she took a deep breath and tried to keep them within.
“Hands and knees, whore!” He snapped out the order.
She struggled onto her hands and knees, and did her best to hold position, her backside still sore from the spanking she'd been given. She braced herself and tried not to let her body get the best of her.
“Such a pretty sight. I'm going to fuck you senseless whore. You'll pass out on the floor before I'm finished with you.”
Celeste closed her eyes. It wasn't his usage of her that would make her pass out. It was exhaustion. Between the cold and her exhaustion from the way she'd clambered down the cliff, then rest of it, she was already about to drop.
Clothing hit the floor, along with his boots. She tensed, knowing what would come next. His cock. Her body. There was no denying that. She'd been through it only, what felt like, a few hours before when he'd used her in the cave. Now he wanted to go through it again.
It's my own fault. If I'd stayed still when he was spanking me he'd not have reacted like this.
No, she couldn't believe that. It wasn't her fault. She couldn't help it with the pain he'd inflicted on her. Her body was exposed to him. Vulnerable.
The head of his cock pressed between her nether lips, giving her no more than a moment before she felt him thrust within her body. Her body jerked at the rough entrance. Her thighs tensed as she tried to hold position. It didn't work. She barely had time to brace before he pulled back and thrust back within her.
Her inner walls tightened on his cock, her clit throbbed, the pressure she'd only just recovered from one usage and now she was forced to endure another. She sobbed as he pushed deeper into her being, slamming hard and fast into her core.
She cried out, her back arching, head lifting as she sobbed with the pressure of his sensual assault. Her nails scratched at the wood beneath her hands and knees. She didn't want this, she didn't need this, yet he wasn't about to give her a choice. Tearlach cared not for her wants or needs, only for his pleasure.
Each thrust threatened to slam her to the floor. Her inner walls clenched hard and fast about his cock. Liquid heat coated the walls of her pussy as she moved, writhing, pushing back against him as he used her hard and fast.
“Yes, that's it my whore.” His words nothing more than a low growl. “Move for me, you're mine. Always will be. I'm never going to let you go, Celeste, you've been mine since the day I first laid eyes on you.”
No, I'm not yours, I'll never be yours except for the moment.
She didn't dare tell him that, he'd beat her black and blue. She bit back the words, swallowing them, nothing more than a soft sob escaping her lips. Each thrust felt like a slap, a punch within her body, that mingled pain and pleasure in a dangerous mixture, stripping her being of her ability to think or speak.
His balls slapped hard and fast against her swollen nether lips. The slick sounds filled the air as she felt him tangle his hand into her hair and use the grip to force her head up. She screamed in pain from the grasp. Her inner walls clenched tight on his cock, her body reacting to his use of her as it had done before.
“Come for me, slut, come for me and let me hear it.”
She groaned, bucking beneath him, his cock swelling, pressing against her inner walls until she had no choice but to react to him. Heat washed over her body, coating his cock with a slick film of desire. Her voice twisted into a cry. Sobs became screams as she fought against the pressure and the pain her body pushed her through.
The sore muscles, aching joints, the way her backside had been tanned and welted earlier all added up to a point where she knew only one thing. Pain.
With a sob she collapsed to the floor, barely aware of his seed coating her inner walls as she gasped for breath. There was nothing she could do but gasp and whimper for breath even as he moved away from her and left her as a wreck on the floor.
She struggled to stay awake, but it was a losing battle. She groaned and tried to open her eyes fully. It didn't work.
“I warned you, slut, that you'd pass out before I was done.”
Chapter Three
How long she'd been on the floor, she had no idea, but by the time she woke up she was chilled and aching through to the bones. With a low groan she sat up and looked around the room, he wasn't here and she hadn't even been given a blanket. God, no wonder she was chilled to the bone.
Celeste stood up slowly and tried to shake off the deep seated chill that left her aching. It didn't work. She grabbed the blanket that had been left on the floor where she'd dropped it earlier and then wrapped it back around her body.
Where was he?
On the ship, obviously, but where?
Discussing something with the Captain, or in a fight, or card game for all she knew, but at least he wasn't in the room with her. It gave her a chance to try and recover from the events of the evening.
Nois
es, voices, the mingled and seeped through the closed door. Raised voices. An argument? No, there was something else going on, and for a moment she thought about opening the door, and then remembered that Tearlach would have locked it to prevent her from trying to escape.
She frowned and moved, slowly, to the bed before she sat down on the edge of it, the blanket wrapped tight about her still chilled form.
“Get them on board, now!”
“You can't do that, they're not welcome here!” Tearlach's voice broke through the rest of the shouts.
“We've got business we have to do with the Island, if the Lord of the Island sends a message to heave to, we heave to.” The Captain replied.
Heave to? Who was out there? He'd said the Island, which meant— god, it couldn't be.
“If he steps foot on this ship our deal is done.”
“You've paid me already, Tearlach, and on this ship I am god, Christ and the entire heavenly brigade, so don't fuck with me.” The Captain's voice was cold and dangerous.
Shaking and uncertain she moved to the door and leaned against it, listening to the conversation beyond it. Then she heard it. The heavy steps of someone walking toward the door. She darted back and settled on the floor, the blanket wrapped about her body as she looked at the wall, anywhere but at the door in case he realized she'd heard the conversation.
The door opened and she shifted, looking over her shoulder. “Sir, is something wrong?”
“On the bed, face down, hands behind your back. Now.”
She frowned but did as he told her to do. Silently she settled on the bed, and crossed her hands behind her back. Before she had a chance to protest he bound her wrists behind her back, and thrust a gag into her mouth.
“He's not going to find you if you can't call out, slut.”
It was Davien. He was there, he'd come for her, but he was right, if she didn't call out and Tearlach wasn't out in the line of sight, then he wouldn't know that she was here. So close, and yet— there had to be something she could do?
“Make a move, make a sound, and I'll slit your pretty little throat. If I can't have you, then no one will.”
He was mad. Insane. Killing her so Davien couldn't have her? What sort of man was he?
The type she should have known better than to ever want anything to do with.
She nodded her understanding and kept silent. The cloth gag filled her mouth and would have prevented her making any real sound even if she had the chance to try.
“I know he's here, Captain, this is the only vessel he could have met.” Davien Blood's voice filtered past the locked door.
“And who are you talking about, sir?”
“Tearlach. Nothing more than a petty thief without the courage to face me. So, where is he, and the woman he has with him?”
The captain didn't reply, not at first. When he did his voice remained calm. “Ah, now it would be poor business practice if I divulged the names of my passengers. They've paid good money.”
“Then you admit you have someone here?”
“Sir... ”
“Where is he?” Davien's voice was cool and cold. “Tearlach has broken the laws of the Island and Jamezen will not be pleased if it's discovered you've aided him. Believe me, that will lose you business. Business you can't afford to be without if I understand the situation correctly.”
Tearlach growled.
“Ah, I see your point.” The Captain sighed.
A moment later she heard it. The sound of a key in the lock.
Tearlach moved and dragged Celeste up with him, forcing her in front of his body. One hand locked on her throat. The blanket spilled to the floor, leaving her nude and trembling even as the door opened.
“Don't come any further, Blood, not unless you want to see the wench dead.” He pressed the edge of a dagger against her throat and she whimpered. “I don't think you want that, do you?”
“Hm, are you so sure about that, Tearlach? She's just a woman after all. Easy to replace. Whereas you stole from me, you and I have a personal matter of honor deal with. So kill her or not, I don't give a damn. Either way, you're a dead man.”
The edge of the dagger pressed closer to her throat and she tried not to sob in fear. With the gag in her mouth she couldn't protest. She couldn't tell him not to kill her. Worse, she might die without saying another word to Davien and that hurt more than anything else.
“Afraid of me, are you Tearlach. Just like a coward.”
“No, more a man who knows when his back to the wall. You're not taking her, Blood. And I've no desire to get into a fight with you right now.”
“I don't believe you have a choice. I have a warrant for your arrest from the Lord of the Island. You broke Island law and you're to come back and face charges. Or be hung, here, on the ship without trial.”
Tearlach's breath hitched. “You're insane.”
“No, I'm not. Read it for yourself.” He offered the letter out toward Tearlach. “Jamezen makes it clear, if you come in for the trial and win, you'll be permitted to remain there with Celeste if she wishes to be yours. Of course, we both know you'll not be able to prove that she wishes to be with you.”
Tearlach wrapped his free hand about Celeste's body, cupping her left breast. “Hm, you'd be wrong. I know she wants to be with me. Her body responds to my touch with a fire I've never seen in a woman before.”
“She's trained to do just that.”
“No, it's more than training. I'm no fool, Davien, she wants me, needs me, she didn't even fight against me when I brought her out to the ship. If she didn't want me, if she didn't want to belong to me, then she'd have fought, called out, done something to find a way to be free of me. Yet she didn't.”
“And yet, you have her gagged.”
Tearlach brought his hand up and stroked the gag in her mouth. “You've no idea how sweetly she reacts with a gag in her mouth.”
“You'd be wrong, I trained her with the gag for a while, I'm well aware of how she can move with one in her mouth. How helpless she feels with one in place. Combine a gag with a blindfold and the reaction increases.” Davien locked his gaze with Tearlach, discussing Celeste as if she wasn't even there.
“You'd be surprised how much I know about this sweet little bitch.”
“If you're so certain of yourself why don't you face the court? Or are you going to admit you're a coward?”
“I'm no coward!” His words little more than a growl.
“Then return to the island for the trial, once it's done you'll be free to leave if you win.”
“I'll win, I'll prove it. We're coming back to the island and I'll prove it.” He scraped the edge of the blade over Celeste's throat. “She's mine. She'll stay mine and there's nothing you can do to stop it.”
“We'll see.”
“She stays with me.”
“Of course, but you come with us back to the Island, now. No waiting. You're not going to be given the chance to get out of this one.”
Tearlach nodded and pushed Celeste down on the bed with a cold laugh. “Fine, we'll be going back with you. Celeste will speak for me. When she does you'll find out how it feels to be the one rejected. You'll learn to deal with it.”
Celeste blinked, her teeth digging into the gag as she listened to the conversation. Didn't they even care what was going on? What she felt like? She wasn't an animal. She had a life, or she'd had one until they came along. Until Davien had taken her.
“Get her dressed and ready to travel. You've got five minutes then we leave.” Davien looked down at her trembling form, then back at Tearlach. “A minute later and I come in here to get her.”
“We'll be ready.”
“Of course you will be,’ he turned and walked out of the cabin, shaking his head.
Tearlach didn't move until the door was closed. “Stupid, fuckin’ son o’ a bitch!”
She couldn't say a word, not with the gag in her mouth. God, she wanted to though. She wanted to tell him that he didn't have a chance
of winning.
No, the last thing I need to do is rub that in his face, I'll never hear the end of it.
Worse than that, he'd realize she wasn't going to vouch for him at the trial. The fact he thought, he assumed, she'd stand up in open court and agree to be his was— was more than she could even begin to understand.
There was nothing he could do to her that would make her declare that she wanted to be with him.
“You will tell them exactly what I want you to say, Celeste, of that I have no doubt. You were meant to be with me, we both know that. No, it's more than meant to be, destined to be, I own your heart and soul and that's something you can never deny or fight. There's a part of you that I made.”
She wanted to shake her head, but it would have been a waste of time.
He'd never accept it. Not until he heard it in court. All she could do was hope and pray that Davien would do something to prevent him from killing her. She didn't want to die. She was too young to die.
He leaned down and undid the bonds on her wrists. “Up, get the blanket around you. We've got to leave to face our accusers, Celeste. And they will accuse you of playing games. Pitting one man against another. You've no idea what they'll do to you... ”
She paled but moved her hands from behind her back then reached for the gag, stripping it out from between her lips. “He— he said I was to be dressed.”
“The blanket will work well enough. You're a slave. Nothing more than a slave and that means you wear what I tell you to wear and nothing else.”
She lowered her head and stopped herself from saying what she wanted to say. Celeste reached for the blanket and wrapped it about her body, she had to believe that it would work out, that she'd be able to tell the truth and still be safe.
“Move, slut. I'm in no mood to keep them waiting.”
He never was. Celeste sighed and tucked the blanket in a little closer, hoping it wouldn't slip free. The last thing she needed would be exposed like that again. She chewed on her bottom lip and lowered her head. Heat flushed across her cheeks, she didn't want to be exposed this way, but there was no choice. Not with the mood Tearlach was in.
