“But Ryan presented an idea that piqued everyone's interest and while it's not final yet, it looks likely.”
Zelda stuck a spoon in the bowl and handed it to him. She crossed her arms and propped one hip against the stove as he dug in. Damn, but his woman could cook.
“Ryan is a smart woman. What was her idea?” Zelda asked.
Harrison swallowed the chili and studied his wife's curious expression. She and Ryan were pretty close, it was unusual that Ryan wouldn’t have already discussed this with the other ladies ahead of time. She had told the guys that no one else knew about it. And she was notoriously private.
“She wants to write our stories. A novel for each band member.”
Zelda nodded, her face giving nothing away.
“How would you feel about that?” he asked.
“I don't know,” Zelda said honestly. “I mean, it might be cool.”
“She said she'd talk to you guys about it at the party tomorrow,” Harrison said, scraping the last bite from the bowl. That had gone fast. Zelda took the empty bowl from him and refilled it.
“That reminds me,” she said. “I got Miles that jersey today.”
“Signed?” Harrison asked in surprise.
“Yep,” Zelda confirmed with a head nod and smile. “I told you, people like me.”
“True story,” Harrison agreed. He shook his head. “Can you believe that Sway is the father of a fourteen-year-old boy?”
“Can you believe that Sway is the father of two little girls?” Zelda countered with a smirk.
“I really hope he doesn't lose all of his hair when they turn into teenagers,” Harrison said seriously.
“He's a good dad,” Zelda said softly.
Harrison's gaze traveled over her gentled features. “Yeah, he is.”
“So are you,” she added, her smile turning flirtatious.
He raised an eyebrow. “Don't look at me like that, woman,” he warned. “You know that every time you look at me like that, you get pregnant.”
“Yep,” she answered with a smirk.
Harrison narrowed his eyes at her and tilted his head. “Are you...?”
Her smirk turned into a grin. “What do think of the name Jamie?”
Her shirt choice made sense now.
He set the bowl aside slowly. “I think you better get over here and kiss me right now.”
She did.
Never a dull moment with this woman. He could come home from being a rock star to his house smelling of food and the mother of his children having a lightsaber battle right in the middle of the dining room. She was his every dream come true.
Every. Single. One.
While she believed that she was the out-of-control fangirl who'd finally won the fangirl lottery, the truth was that Harrison had been and always would be her biggest fan. Ever since day one. He was hopelessly, helplessly, out of his rational mind in love with this woman.

Acknowledgments
And so it has come to this.
The fifth book of the Double Blind Series.
It would not have been what it is without the following individuals.
Scott Colby, Amy, Jodi, Greer, Helen and the ENTIRE FFP family. You continue to inspire me and push me every day to be the best I can be. I had no idea what I was capable of until you all raised the bar on me. Thank you for that.
Tara, you make me look better than I really am. Without you, I would have surely sunk to the depths of the sea of indie books out there. Thank you for your talents, your patience, and your encouragement. You're a rock star in your own right.
Mama and Papa. The best parents ever. You guys really are exactly who you appear to be. I couldn't be more proud to be called your daughter. Thank you for letting me indulge in the Star Wars fandom. I know I probably drove you crazy, but you handled it very well.
Laura. I thank you in the back of each one of these. That's because you've been there since the beginning and you'll be there to the end. Or here. Or wherever I am at the time. Unless it's someplace you detest... like a country music festival or something. But I'm sure you'll be texting me the whole time, telling me that you're not jealous at all. I love you. Life would suck without you. For realz, yo. Thank you for making me watch Doctor Who. You were right, he is yummier than bacon.
Kellcie. The other third of the Trio. If I didn't have you helping make sure Sherlock wore her pants, I'd be in trouble. Thank you for your amazing humor, your wit, your charm, your sexiness. Nerd love is forever. Thank so much for making me read Outlander. Part of my heart will never forgive you.
Jamie. I don't know if words can truly express how fond I am of you. I suppose #ballseverywhere sort of summarizes it. Thank you for being so encouraging and hilarious all along the way. You never fail to bring light to my day.
Kati. You're love for these characters is almost as astounding as your love for me and my sister. I have no idea why you're so crazy, but I absolutely adore you for it.
Jo. I realize that I already dedicated this entire book to you, but I feel like there is more to say. I hope we can be friends forever. You're gorgeous and brilliant and funny as heck, don't ever let anyone tell you different. Let's always promise to hate Pink.
Miles. You brought Harrison to life and I'm forever grateful. Thank you for being so classy and a total pro. Working with you has been amazing and I look forward to where you end up.
AJ. Thank you for reading The Hobbit so long ago and making me feel like a complete idiot for putting it off for so long. And then again for making me watching LOTR when I was being a stick in the mud. And also for all the nights you made me play Zelda with you. And introducing me to Leeroy Jenkins... I seriously doubt this novel would have ever happened without all of that.
Sarahi. For putting up with AJ and all of his weirdness. He deserves to be able to save the princess and live happily ever after.
Bear. My nerd in training. I hope I can keep up with the magnificence of your mind and never hold you back. You make me dream. You are my joy.
Charles. If you ever actually read one of these things, you're going to realize how much of the things you say to me I use. I'm not that creative of a writer, I just have a great memory. And I remember every moment, every word, every look that turned my world upside down. You don't know how you saved my life. Please, let me be the only one you keep up until dawn discussing literature genres as they relate to Black Flag. Sometimes forever doesn't feel long enough.
God. Thank you for all that You know good well I don't deserve. And for teaching me that love has never been about deserving.
About the Author
Heidi Hutchinson was born in South Dakota and raised the exact right distance away from the Black Hills. She had an overactive imagination very early on, and wasted no time in getting most of her friends in trouble due to her unrealistic and completely ridiculous ideas. Seeing as she was so lazy and also afraid people would think she was bonkers, she didn't write down any of the story lines that played out in her daydreams.
During her high school years, she took pen to paper and filled more notebooks than she is proud of with angsty, depressing, self-deprecating poetry. This led to her writing down more things: notes, ideas, character bios, plot twists that had no plot yet to twist. After years of cleaning up her own scraps of imagination with nothing solid to hold on to, she sat down and wrote the story that had been in her head the longest. Fueled by coffee and her unwavering and perfectly normal devotion to Dave Grohl, she discovered a writer living inside of her.
She still lives in the Midwest, though not as close to the Black Hills as she would prefer, with her alarmingly handsome husband and their fearless child. They eat more pizza than God intended and she listens to her music the same way she lives: loudly.
