Hell at One Dark Window

Page 6

by Willa Okati

There came a long, long pause, in which Nathaniel’s soul was silent. Barrett kissed him again, pressing more blood down his lover’s throat. Waiting. Watching. Growing ever more anxious. Was he too late, after all? Had his last chance passed him —

Nathaniel blinked. Eyelashes swept his cheeks, the thick fringe dark and heavy against his paling skin. The sharp, cutting edge flooded back into the gray of his eyes. He swallowed the blood that lingered in his mouth, lips working beneath Barrett’s.

Barrett pulled away, looked his lover in the eye, and grinned. “See?” he said. “Told you so. Of course, this changes things a mite, but I’m good at thinking on my feet. Though they harry me through the day, we’ll be off again by moonlight, though hell should bar the way. You and I, together, lover. What do you say? Forever’s got a whole new meaning, now. You in for the long haul? You and me, for always?”

Nathaniel smiled. Fangs, sharp and tiny, glinted in the last of the moon’s cool light. “I looked for you by the moonlight, and you came to me after all, and brought me back, beyond the reach of the hells that barred the way. Yes, lover. I’m with you. Now, tomorrow, until the final death does both us part.”

“That’s my love,” Barrett said, lowering his lips to Nathaniel’s for a hungry kiss. His cock began to swell with lust and love that would never die, but only burn brighter and hotter. “Come with me by moonlight,” he whispered. “One more time.”

He felt Nathaniel’s hand encircle his cock, cold, hard, relentless, merciless, loving. Moving with a new speed and skill, stripping him hard. The new vampire pressed both their erections together, made a tunnel of his hands, and began to pump. Both gasped deep breaths of unnecessary air.

“You learn right fast,” Barrett managed to say.

Nathaniel’s eyes sparkled. “I had a good teacher. Still do. You’ll have to guide me, wherever it is we go.”

“That I will. Tonight,” Barrett swore. “Tonight, we leave forever.”

“Good. But for now, you’re still going to come with me.”

And the vampires laughed as they made busy with hands and cocks, tongues and teeth, ushering in the day with the white fire of climax brighter than any dawning sun.

  The End

  Willa Okati

Willa Okati has far too many ideas for her own good, but is having the time of her life writing them all down. She has a very patient husband who puts up with seeing his wife pounding on the keyboard at 5 a.m., a hard-used coffee pot that she calls her best friend, and cats who think she’s quite insane, but as long as she feeds them, will put up with anything. She adores anything that goes bump in the night, especially if it lands in the bed.
