Bloody Vows Page 5

  “Do I need to buy their son a dog collar?” Rosalie blurts out, and it makes everyone in the room laugh.

  Joey groans, “That was not nice Rosalie. You are right about one thing. This pregnancy is making you do, and say things that you normally would never say. This is one of those times, I am so glad Ransom is not in the room. Please never ask Tanya that the next time you see her. I would suggest maybe a nice outfit for Tanya and Ransom’s baby.”

  Erik drops his newspaper, “Your wife is funny, Joey. There is humor in that one. It takes a lot to make me laugh. I remember my mortal wife telling my mother that she stinks, and her food sucks. That embarks on a whole other story. My wife was stuck caring for my mother in her last days. They were able to get along once she apologized for her pregnancy antics. Never be upset with your wife if she speaks something out of character. A pregnant woman is prone to blunt honesty.”

  Charlie musters a small laugh, “My wife threw out the whole bloody dinner when she was pregnant with Willow. She even knocked me for a bloody loop. She took a sword to me a few times. Willow is just as fierce as her mother.”

  We continue to laugh at the stories the men tell everyone.

  Rosalie hugs me tightly. We also laugh about the horrible wedding dresses from the past.

  ~~~***~~~
  For the rest of the week, we chose to play hooky from school. Papa, Christian, and I went through our list of invitations. We exclude all mortals who don’t realize that we are vampires. The only ones we include are the ones who actually know we exist.
  Chapter 4
  Thursday night, I perch on my elbows, and toy with Christian’s hair. We are talking about his ex. He finally gets around to it, “How did you handle things last Tuesday with Tracy and Shelly?”
  My face scrunches up, “They warned me not to marry you. I will be honest, and tell you that they believe you have ulterior motives. Tracy said that I am an abomination, and our daughter Feather is just an illusion. She said if I never came around, she would have made you forget all about Feather. And you would be married to her instead. Shelly and Tracy believe that you are only with me, because you want to be king someday. Once you have that then I am disposable to you.”
  My eyes clench tightly. I already know what he is about to do next, “THEY SAID WHAT?”
  The words repeat for a second time. His eyes are practically popping out of his head. The anger shows in his face, and it courses through his blood. The night of blissful sex turns sour instantly. He caresses my lips with his, and then he places me back on the bed. He jerks a pair of blue silk boxers over his athletic ass.
  He found a pair of grey sweatpants, and he lets his temper fly, “THEY FUCKING LIED TO ME! THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULD BE ON THEIR BEST FUCKING BEHAVIOR! I AM FUCKING LIVID!” He paces back and forth until he sits right next to me in bed. He pulls me close to him, “I could give two shits if you were a princess—or not! I would never marry you if I did not love you! I hope you laughed at them! Tracy has been trying to worm her fucking way back into my existence. I told her to knock it off right away. That does it! This is the final fucking straw! I love you so much, Jeannie. They are full of shit!”
  His sheet covers my chest, “I know they are full of shit. I know you well enough Chris, and you would never do that to me. They can believe what they want to believe. Just let it go, Chris. Karma will catch up to them sooner—or later.”
  Christian huffs angrily, “I have had it with those two! They want us to fight! I refuse to let this slide this time, Jeannie! I am finished!”
  He slams the bedroom door, and he is cursing a lot. There are mirrors right above my head. These mirrors are on the ceiling in his bedroom. A few silly faces reflect in the mirror.
  After ten minutes passes, Chris remains in a bad mood. It is time for an intervention. I found one of his shirts, and put on my thong. The small ivory shorts and my fuzzy slippers complete my midnight ensemble. I tiptoe from his room, and down the corridor. There is shouting escaping from his office. It is time to face the situation, and head inside. Christian is furious this time. He has Shelly and Tracy on speakerphone. He is still cursing at them in English. My arms wrap around his waist, “That will be the last time you ever fucking talk to my fiancée like that! I do not care anymore, Tracy! We broke up because you have issues, and you know what your fucking issues are!”
  It is time to distract him. My hands slide inside his boxers. Christian never stops me either. My hands continue to rub his enormous cock, and I make him gasp. His grey sweatpants are sliding down, so that his sizable cock comes out to play. He never stops me. My lips slide around his enormous shaft. He begins to stutter, “I… I… I am done talking to you!” He slams his phone down to abruptly end his conference call.
  His thick shaft glides slowly in and out my mouth. He never pushes me away. My knees rest on the plush burgundy carpet right in front of him, but hidden by his executive desk. He gasps, “This is really wrong, Jeannie! I should stop you right now!”
  A brief pause silences the air, just enough to speak, “But, you won’t do that. This feels too good. You would have already done it by now if this truly bothers you.”
  He pulls my hair back, allowing me to continue. He slumps in his office chair allowing me to have my fun with him. There is only one tiny problem. That damn office door remains unlocked. We were home free until one of the Enforcers walks in. He quickly tucks me underneath his desk, long enough to remove whoever it is from his office. “Is everything okay, Chris?” the voice echoes.
  The voice belongs to Tommy. The ultra-religious vampire when he thinks it’s best is now in the room. My mouth continues to blow his boss. Talk about bad timing.
  He answers with a few breaks in his voice, “I… I can assure you that everything is fine, Tommy. Now… will you please leave, and lock the fucking door?”
  “You both have been through a lot together. I want to make sure everything is okay,” Tommy speaks to him again.
  His thick shaft rams in the back of my throat. The quick move makes him gasp loudly. Christian tenses up, “I… I… can promise you that everything is fine! Now… please… do me a favor and leave! Please, lock the fucking door after you leave!”
  Tommy refuses to take the hint, “I will go ahead, and check the perimeters. Let me know if you need to talk about anything—or get anything off your chest.”
  With bad intention, a loud slurping sound echoes inside the room. Christian grits his teeth, and he holds my head still for a minute, “I promise Tommy, we are doing okay. If I need to talk to you about something, I know where to find you. Now please leave!” he practically begs.
  Tommy opens the door, but locks it on his way out. Christian sighs, “That was extremely close Jeannie. What if that was Saber?”
  With wild ambition, my focus returns to slamming his thick cock in my throat again. He pulls my hair gasping, “You better answer my question!”
  “He would have to witness me giving his most trustworthy Enforcer a blowjob then,” I paused.
  Christian gasps, “You are very evil! That is so wrong, but this feels so fucking good! Damn you!”
  A small chuckle escapes my throat. My mouth continues to work hard and fast, by wrapping my plush lips around his gorgeous cock. It is a joy to toy with his cock. This is more fun than what I previously thought. He jerks back, and releases while moaning loudly. His hot cum pours down my throat. Every single drop slides down with ease.
  It was time to walk away without any recourse, but my fiancé waits for me to stand up. He jerks my shorts down, and then he slams me on his desk. His shirt now rips in half, followed by my thong. He slams his hard cock deep inside. The rough sex commences, as he gives me a violent orgasm. He grunts and pounds his lukewarm flesh against mine with rapid motion. His name echoes loudly, as another earth-shattering orgasm vibrates my spine. He refuses to stop fucking me. He picks up more speed by gripping my hips roughly. He pauses long enough to flip me over, but he slams me back on his desk, facing him
this time. So many bruises will cover my legs after this violent fuck fest. My hands clutch on the edge of his desk gasping. He keeps me there until he finishes deep inside. He leans over me, and softly pecks my cheek. We stay for a minute—or two just warmly embracing each other.
  After he stands up, he wraps me in his blanket, “I want our baby. I am so fucking tired of waiting.”
  Little moments like these, take me by surprise. He cradles me his arms for a few minutes. He carries me to his bedroom, so I can continue to straddle him. He moans my name loudly, as he penetrates a few times. We stop our fuck fest. He cradles me in his arms for the remainder of the evening. This puts us in complete bliss. The instant bliss helps me fall asleep. But, someone wakes me up by shaking me the next morning.
  Rosalie shocks me by standing right there, “If you are not too sleepy, it’s time to steal you away for my wedding rehearsal.”
  My naked body remains hidden underneath the covers. A groan vibrates my throat, as she continues to speak, “Your fiancé told me that you would be in here. Please don’t be mad at me, but all the girls are there except you. I am panicking right now.”
  My index finger points to my robe, and she hands it to me. The plush ivory robe covers my body, “That is okay, but it feels odd. I never expect to see you in his room. Where is my fiancé at anyway?”
  Rosalie points outside, “He has already showered and changed. Joey is picking him up, and taking him to the rehearsal. I am not trying to be rude, but please hurry!”
  My shower lasts a whole ten minutes. Speed is not an issue for me as long as Christian gave me some of his blood. There is no need to shave anymore due to the concoction Louie created. My dress is a simple summer dress. Blow dryers are chasing me above my head. My shoes slide over my feet. The makeup is on in record time. Rosalie hands me my tiara, and then she grips my arm. It surprises me when she teleports us to her wedding rehearsal. She places me in a large ballroom for her wedding rehearsal. A woman with shoulder-length blonde hair in a canary suit is already waiting for us.
  “You will stand right before Ember. Oh wow… she does bear an uncanny resemblance towards the both of you!” the woman shrieks.
  Rosalie giggles, “This is Princess Jeannie. Jeannie this is my mother-in-law, Violet Cirrus, but you can call her momma if you like.”
  She should have been recognizable. Joey and Violet share the same eyes. The woman hugs me, and then she gawks at me strangely.
  Oddly enough, she sniffs me a couple of times, and then her eyes widen. Her face changes to shock, “We need to go ahead, and put Jeannie in line.”
  She moves me ahead of Ember. Ember sneaks out another snack from her purse.
  “Are you okay, Ember?”
  Ember smiles, and then she shakes her snack at me, “I am fine… I am here to support Rosalie and Joey. How are you doing, Jeannie?”
  My arms wrap around Ember, and hugging her feels, as if she is a sibling, “Your stomach is starting to show.”
  Ember pats her belly, “I better stop eating so much, but it is impossible.”
  Susan, the wedding coordinator makes us practice a couple of times until we get it right. Joey and Rosalie have their fun by making the rest of us giggle. All of us make it to their rehearsal dinner.
  My fiancé found me, “How is my future wife holding up?”
  His ultramarine eyes are dancing. I quickly peck his lips. I blush at the term fiancée.
  Violet oddly rushes over to me, and she appears distracted, “Can I pull you to the side for a minute?”
  My fiancé keeps me in his gaze, and he follows us to another room. Violet keeps walking around me, sniffing me strangely. She stops a couple of times, and then she stares at me. “Who were your biological parents?” Violet calmly asks.
  “My mom was a vampire hybrid, and her name was Shawna Justice. My dad’s name was Forest Justice. Why are you asking?”
  Violet gawks at me again, “There is an odd scent about you, which makes me question your lineage. Was your father mortal by chance?”
  My dad had blonde hair with chestnut eyes, “My dad was mortal.”
  Violet asks me again, “Do you know anything about your dad? Where did your dad come from?”
  Christian studies her strangely, “Her dad was adopted. There is no paper trail on him. We have no idea where he comes from. This eludes us for over a year now. What are you trying to assert, Violet?”
  Violet puts a finger to her lips, “Your scent is a very peculiar scent, but that scent is easily recognizable, because it is a scent of a sky fairy. You need to find out about your father, Jeannie, and find out quickly! Let me involve my son.”
  I gawk at her oddly. My fiancé pulls me closer to him. This begins to worry me, “What is going on, Chris?”
  Christian pecks on my cheek with his lips, “I have no idea, but there is suspicion, in which we are about to discover something huge.”
  Violet ushers Joseph inside the room, and he stares at me strangely. Violet taps his arm, “You need to smell her. Cut through all that dead scent, and you will find the other scent. But, really smell her, Joey.”
  Joey walks over to me to sniff. He is also making a strange expression. The peculiar sniffing only causes more paranoia, and I second-guess my deodorant. Joey stares at me a few times, and then he stops.
  “Do you smell the same thing?” Violet questions him.
  My fiancé takes a quick glimpse at me, and he squats, “Joey, what is going on?”
  Joey sniffs me a few more times, and he stands back, “How in the hell did this happen? Who is your father, Jeannie?”
  “My dad was adopted. I have no idea about his parents. His name was Forest Justice.”
  Joey squats down, “That is a familiar scent, but it is a trace scent. I will have to find out about your dad, Jeannie. There is a sinking feeling that he was also a hybrid.”
  With a quick glance at Christian, he closes his eyes. He tilts his head out of curiosity, “Are you trying to tell us that Jeannie has a fairy scent to her?”
  Joey studies me even closer, “She has a very faint scent of a sky fairy. It is hard to tell whom she belongs to, because it is a trace scent. The only way to find out about her dad is to perform a blood test to see who her grandfather is. The only problem is that there is a plethora of sky fairies. This must be brought to Oberon and Titania’s attention quickly. They will find out who her grandfather is.”
  Rosalie found us, “Oh there you are! What is going on? Why are you all hiding in here?”
  “We are talking about Jeannie and Christian’s upcoming wedding,” Joey changes the subject.
  Rosalie giggles, and then she hugs me, “Trust me when I say that you will get over the nerves quickly.”
  Christian watches us hug each other, and then his face changes. “Are fairies able to detect other family members—or are they drawn to their own relations?”
  Joey makes another strange face, “What are you asking, Christian?” Rosalie cocks her head to the side.
  Joey shrugs his shoulders, “Ember and Rosalie were automatically drawn to each other. That is because Ember is Everest’s daughter, and Rosalie is Rosebud’s daughter. It needs to be conveyed that this is a distinct possibility.”
  Rosalie stops hugging me, and then she glances at Joey, “Why do I get the feeling that there is an unassuming joke.”
  Joey leads his wife by his side still staring at me strangely, “We need to talk in private, Rosalie. There is a feeling that shit is about to hit the fan.”
  Christian takes my side, and then he caresses my lips gingerly, “We need to find our answers for Jeannie, so that we know what we are dealing with.”
  Chapter 5
  We return home in total silence, and we try to stop talking about my father. Christian calls my grandfather, “Saber, you need to meet us in my library. There are a few questions about her lineage that need answered.”
  We walk into the library to hear the Enforcers playing poker. I never utter one single word
to them, and just sit in a chair. Ian notices first, “Why do you seem like someone just dropped a bomb on you?”
  Papa enters the library. They immediately kneel to one knee. Christian paces back and forth. Saber gestures for everyone to stand at rest. My great-grandfather glances at us strangely, “What is going on, Chris? What do you need to know?”
  He never hesitates, “Do you know anything about Jeannie’s father? Do you know where he comes from?”
  Papa stops, and he makes a peculiar expression, “The only thing I know about him is that he was adopted. Why are you asking?”
  The others stand up eyeing me strangely. Christian shrugs, “Joey seems to believe that Jeannie is part fairy. That explains why her bloodline morphed the way it did. I believe this is what caused her vampire side to come out with ease.”
  Ian whistles, “I did not expect to hear that! Are you sure?”
  Zane stands up, and then he pops himself in the head, “That explains it! That is why her vampire side is more prominent! I have been trying to figure out how in the world was her blood able to mutate. It is almost like she is Saber’s daughter—instead of his great-granddaughter.”
  I am completely lost in confusion by this point, “Surely I am not part fairy! There is no way I could be part fairy too! This is completely insane!”
  Papa disappears, and then he reemerges ten minutes later with photos. He lays pictures of my dad out on the table. I stare at him closely to try, and figure it out for myself. Ian stands over to the table, and then he whistles, “I can see that he is a fairy. He has a perfect tan, as a fairy. This is fucked up.”
  Christian points to my dad’s picture, “Who is his father though? He has to seem similar to a sky fairy that we have already met by now.”
  Alexander walks over to the table, “At least he is not Joey’s son. He seems vaguely familiar though. I have seen that face somewhere before, but I have no idea where.”
