“I do apologize in advance for that little pain you’re going to feel,” he spoke, and I almost fainted. Put it in inside already, dammit! I was so not a fan of anticipation!
“Ready?” he asked, and I nodded without thinking about the consequences, and he proceeded, making me bite my lip and mutter numerous incoherent words in my head. Fear immediately took over me, and I tried to move and escape from him, but his palms gently cupped my face as he kissed my forehead before moving down there a bit. The pain weakened.
“Shh, it will pass. Relax, munchkin. It will pass,” he reassured me, and I calmed down a bit, but my look still stayed frantic as he looked warily at me. He retreated before going deeper again slowly, and I noticed that it didn’t hurt as much when he moved.
“I’m okay. Move. It hurts less,” I spoke. A blush found its way to my cheeks for the hundredth time that night. He smiled and obeyed before pressing his lips to mine. When I finally got used to having him inside of me, moving, it was like someone else took over my body, for I wrapped my legs tighter around him, my right hand on his back, while the left was on his butt. What a lecherous wife I was. I lusted him.
What was there not to lust about him, anyway?
“Better?” he had asked between his thrusts, still slow. With his unstoppable assaults on my lips as I moaned, shame was long forgotten. Pure need crawled up my skin.
“Sorry,” I apologized, and he only shook his head with a sad smile. I could hear his loud breathing as if he were screaming them. A huge part of me was satisfied that it was because of me.
“It’s alright.” He stopped. I almost wanted to roll us over and finish what he started on top of him. “I’m the one to blame for the last time. Ready to continue?” he asked hesitantly, and I nodded as he roughly pushed himself deeper. I simply bit my lip, once again throwing my head deep in the pillow. That one I had not expected but had surely enjoyed.
“So tight, so good,” he spoke so…satisfyingly that just the sound of it made me aroused all again as some type of pride swelled in my chest. Was it this big of a deal when you made someone you cared for happy, even in lovemaking?
He kissed me again, muffling my weakened yelps and moans. His hand held my cheek while the other caressed my chest, building up another sensation I so gladly awaited. Gone was the pain completely. Uncontrolled pleasure had me dangling on edge, ready to cross over, but something was missing.
Not yet.
“Faster please,” I found myself begging, just as he told me I will, as he moved my legs upper around his waist, which only resulted in him getting deeper inside, allowing him to speed up.
“So fucking tight! I could spend the entire night inside without getting bored!” he whispered in my ear, getting more and more speed with each single thrust, without a doubt from his limitless stamina. Those who said that sex is all about performance were so fucking wrong. His words did so many things to me I could not even explain. Maybe I had a thing for dirty words, who knew?
“Blake, I…” This time, the peak of orgasm hit me stronger. I think I clawed the skin on his back. My body could not stay in place as I had the need to writhe beneath him.
“Just a second, try to hold in,” he said before his thrust got harder, and I could no longer take it. I came. He followed shortly after.
When he had finished, he collapsed on top of me. Both our breaths were hard and rugged. He then lifted his head with a smile, his hair messy as always, a wild look in his blue eyes I so loved.
“That was…amazing. I reason that it was the best I ever had, wife,” he said and kissed the place between my chest before rolling next to me and hugging me. I weakly nodded before snuggling into his chest; despite his sweat, he smelled of his usual cologne whose name I still didn’t know. I had completely agreed with his words.
I yawned, and he kissed my forehead.
“Sleep,” he said before he pulled the blanket over our bodies. I embraced the warmth it brought despite my body previously being on fire.
Sated. Truly satisfied and sated.
“I love you, Kaley Blackburn,” he suddenly said, and I smiled. Those were his last words before I drifted to the world of slumber. They left me with a smile on my face.
“Why, I love you too…Blake Blackburn.”
Fate worked in funny ways. I had finally come to understand that. Because things I had at the moment could be lost in the future—either nearby or distant—I had accepted to appreciate every single second.
It wasn’t a wrong assumption in the end. I just shouldn’t have forgotten it when I needed to remember it the most—on that fated day.
Chapter 32
Honeymoon
Perfect relationship? Such a thing doesn’t exist. If it did exist, then there’d be no point in a relationship at all. Fighting and going through hard times might seem painful and bad, but it’s precisely at the end of those bad times that our bonds can grow stronger and we can get to know others better. And it’s that kind of imperfection that makes us grow. And that’s what makes our bonds so beautiful.
When I woke up, my senses were immediately aware of the smell of bacon and eggs. Food and I had this, so to speak, unbreakable bond that would make me place it above any other need, Ayden excluded. Now that I had Blake, I guess that the two of them would have to fight for the spot. But as Blake was usually the one preparing me the most delicious food there was, he might have a chance at winning that spot after all.
I tried to remember what happened and where he was. Memory hit me, and I blushed. My “Blake sex machine and me his woman” plan worked, causing my eyes to snap open only to realize that my head was covered with a blanket. Looking at my body, I saw that I was indeed naked like the day I was born, making me blush even more. It happened. It really happened. I had done it with Blake!
“Is my beautiful wife up yet?” I heard his voice and lazily pulled the blanket down to my nose as I was met with the grinning face of the devil himself. God, what those blue eyes did to me.
“Nope.” I yawned before covering my head with the blanket again, earning a chuckle from him.
“Then I guess that I’ll have to eat this beautiful breakfast I made all by myself. Poor little things: the ham, the bacon, the nicely cut and toasted bread, and this orange juice. Don’t worry, I won’t let your existence go in vain. I’ll eat you guys if she doesn’t want.” I knew what he was playing at, and there was no way that I’d break down to his tricky ways. I could always wake up later and use seduction—Mel said to use it if I ever needed anything, so—to get that food again. And the soreness I was feeling in my lower region didn’t really give me strength to get out of the bed.
“And those chocolate chip pancakes with a cherry on top as desert…” That was when I gave up and removed the blanket in a swift movement, licking my lower lip.
“Where is it?” I raged playfully like some wild animal at him, and he simply raised his eyebrow before his eyes went to my body, making me roll myself into the blanket as fast as I could. I forgot I was naked!
“Ah–ah.” He scowled at me. “Food first.”
“They are food!” I protested. A blush crept up my cheeks.
“Real food. The pancakes I made are European style, so they are for dessert,” he said, and this time I raised my eyebrow. There are more pancakes than those I eat? Like seriously? Pancakes are my favorite food; I should have known them long ago.
“Okay,” I agreed warily, only because I wanted to try that thing.
“Good, say ah now,” he demanded before doing it himself, making it impossible for me to say no when he was so cute. And with that, he fed me with his hands.
“This is feta,” he said, showing me some soft white cheese, and I frowned at its funny name. “Also known as Greek cheese. You can basically eat it with almost anything, or so I do,” he said, giving me a bit of it with ham, and he was right; the thing tasted incredibly good.
“See?” he asked, and I nodded, asking for more as he continued to feed me. When he finis
hed, he took some weird food that was put in a triangle filled with something, and by the smell of it, I guessed that it was the so-called pancake.
“They’ll taste differently since those have milk in them and are filled with just Nutella and chocolate and my favorite, bananas.” I raised my eyebrow. I already liked how that sounded. Bananas and Nutella and pancakes plus cherry? It was like a dream come true.
“Gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme!” I demanded like a child on Christmas, but hey! You’d act the same if you found out that there are more types of your favorite food out there, wouldn’t you?
“Alright, alright.” He grinned once again before placing the pancake in front of my lips, making me bite on it. The way he excitedly followed my face for a reaction and the heavenly taste of those pancakes he gave me only resulted in me giving him a warm, satisfied smile and a thumbs up.
“I can die in peace now,” was all I said before taking another. He was right; you could feel the milk in it, and it was giving off a wonderful taste mixed with chocolate. I moaned; this was heaven!
“Tease,” I heard him say and turned to him, wondering what he was talking about. Had he gotten crazy after all that time? He lately started mumbling things to himself I couldn’t quite decipher.
“You’re sitting there all naked and moaning, making me just watch it,” he explained, probably noticing my confusion, and I blushed with my lips parted before giving him a simple shrug.
“Well, who made me get up earlier?” was all I could answer before he took off his shirt. I removed the blanket and spread out my arms for him to put the shirt on me. After that, I turned back to my pancake. And needless to say, I had a lovely sight in front of me to make it sweeter. Those abs. I licked my upper lip. I’d never get tired of seeing them.
“See something you like, munchkin?” He wiggled his eyebrows, and I blushed but decided to go along.
“Why, yes I do. You have something against me admiring my husband?” I raised my eyebrows acting all brave, but I knew it would backfire on me. It was Blake, the first person I thought of as Satan’s spawn.
“Of course, I don’t, wife,” he said and mischievously grinned. “Does that mean I can watch my wife naked as well?” he asked, and I gulped, already done with the pancake. Where was he going with this?
“Yeah, of course,” I said hesitantly, and he smiled all of a sudden, catching me off guard. But then he lifted me and put me on the ground before taking off the shirt he just gave me seconds ago. I instinctively tried to cover myself, but he grabbed my arms, preventing me from doing so.
“You said I could watch you. I know you’re still sore from last night, so I won’t touch you yet. But tonight, you’ll be all mine once again,” he said, wiggling his eyebrows, and I gulped. This man…
“You have a wonderful body, Kaley,” he said before leaning in to kiss my chest and going lower to my belly. “And one part of me is growing up in here.” He pointed a bit beneath it with a grin, making me smile.
“What do you think it is going to be? A boy or a girl?” I asked. The word excitement isn’t to describe what I felt when I thought about our future family.
“No idea, but I somehow have that feeling that it’s going to be a boy. Not that I mind, but I’d love our first baby to be a boy so that he can protect his younger sister, and no one would complain if he inherits the company.” He chuckled, and I was in awe of him. Leave it to Blake to want more.
“It would be fun to live with mini-you around,” I said and thought about it. A little black haired boy with huge blue eyes—I could already see his picture clearly in my head.
“Don’t even mention it. I want someone to look after you,” he said and pulled down the shorts he was wearing, leaving him completely naked in front of my eyes. My poor innocent—who was I lying to? I wanted that piece of man myself.
“We should go sightseeing, you know?”
“I am enjoying my sightseeing at this moment very much, thank you,” was my response to it, and he grinned before sweeping me off my feet bridal style.
“Then I guess that it’s time for exploring under the water.” Really Blake, really?
By the time we had finished, Blake had decided that he should take me to try tzatziki—kill me if I knew what it was—but I shrugged and went along with him. Apparently, he had a rich friend here called Alexandros who owned a business with a Greek kitchen, so we went to his restaurant. He had also called him to the wedding, but Alexandros thought that he was lying about it, so he didn’t come. As it seems, Blake actually did that trick once.
The guy was very funny. He spoke to us in English, but his first words when we meet were a few Greek words I later found were not so pretty and “He actually got married!” My guess is that he cursed at Blake for not taking more time into proving that he was seriously getting married and for being tricked the first time. It seemed like it really was a big shock that the world’s biggest bachelor decided to settle down.
“Dear God, she looks like a goddess! We, young lady, need to take a selfie.” He took his phone out of his pocket, and in an instant, he pulled me into a hug, taking that selfie with me having a confused expression on my face. It took me a few seconds to understand what actually happened, and just as I came to the realization, I was engulfed in another bear hug. Blake was hugging me from my right as Alexandros was on my left, and all I know is that I looked like an alien when I heard the click of the camera while the two of them probably looked their normal beautiful selves. Blake more than him, of course.
“She’s so cute, man!” Alexandros exclaimed as Blake cooed at the photo before pulling out his own phone from his pocket, probably to send the photo to himself. Men, phones. And then they say something about us girls.
“What?” I finally asked, but neither of them paid attention to me as some weird white cream with something green in it was placed in front of me. Was I supposed to eat that? How was I supposed to eat it? Was it ice cream? Moreover, it was surprisingly hot for February in Greece.
“That’s Greek salad—well sauce—but I like to eat it without anything. It’s called tzatziki. Try it. It’s the best,” Blake said before taking chips from another plate and dipping them in that sauce. He ate it and continued to talk with Alexandros. Well, to complain about too many Bluetooth devices in the room and not being able to pair or something.
Taking another chip, I hesitantly dipped it into that tzatziki sauce before and placed it in my mouth. The taste was surprisingly…refreshing, tasty, and beautiful. I simply craved for more, so I ate another chip with it. I think it had pickles in it. And garlic as well? Oregano? I was not sure, but I guessed that my pregnancy had something to do with me liking it. Pregnant women like to eat weird mashed-up foods. Google proved that a hundred percent true.
“Tasty, isn’t it?” Blake asked and took more of it, and I playfully growled like Smeagol from Lord of the Rings, “My precious,” making Blake pout at me. I found his expression both cute and funny at the same time.
“Our precious one,” I corrected myself. I got a cheerful smile from him in return. As for Alexandros, he was chatting with me all the time, and it was interesting how he shared many stories of his and Blake’s college days. Like the one when they were dared to go in their professor’s room and steal her panties but ended up seeing her having sex with another professor instead. Let’s just say they had clear tens as long as they never said a word.
After a whole hour of talking with him, Blake and I headed outside to continue with our sightseeing, promising to be back tomorrow, as Alexandros said that he would give me his secret tzatziki recipe. How could I not come after that?
What surprised me the most was that it was not only Alexandros that knew Blake, but most of the people stopped to talk to him, and I soon found out another thing about Blake: that he speaks Greek. He had introduced me to many of those people, and my favorite person was an elderly woman called Aleksandra who gave us two matching wristbands that apparently kept love between a couple. I found th
em cute, so I took them without hesitation and tied one on his wrist next to the expensive Rolex he had, as he did the same to my hand. Why do all rich people buy Rolex, anyway? Was that their way of recognizing each other?
I didn’t know what they were talking about when he was about to pay, but by the scowl on his face and the smile on hers, I guessed that she didn’t want us to pay.
“Damn that woman. She’s too obsessed with my love life. I think that she anticipated this moment of my life more than my own mother,” he said and sighed before shaking his head, suppressing a small smile on his own. He said that, but he was happy that she cared for him.
“She really seemed like a nice person. You know a lot of people here, don’t you?” He nodded with a smile.
Blake in his casual clothes with a relaxed expression on his face as he was enjoying his time was most definitely the Blake I came to fall for more and more.
“I spent most of my childhood here in Greece,” he started. “Then I had to move back for business when I was eighteen. But then came back here around two years ago while controlling the company from here, and I went back to America some four months ago. I met you after being home for around a week, if I’m not mistaken,” he explained, and I nodded my head, processing the newfound information.
“Oh, that’s why,” I said and smiled before coming to a sudden stop. “Say, Blake. Do you believe in fate?”
That made him stop before giving me a warm smile.
“Probably. I didn’t believe in many things before I met you. I thought that my reality were only those facts that went against my favor,” he started as I listened, letting every word of his sink in my heart. “And then you came, defying everything I was used to and going against all reasons to be who you really are. I don’t really know why I came back to Seattle when I planned to stay here for a little while. It’s true. We met by the oddest circumstances when we needed each other the most, so yes, maybe it was fate, and maybe it was not. I cannot say for sure that I can believe something that uncertain, but, Kaley—” he got close to me, his hands grasping my face as I lost myself in the depths of his blue eyes yet once again “—if I’m going to believe in something, then it’s the certainty of our love. I believe I made the right choice by meeting you, marrying you, and falling for you. I wouldn’t want anyone else, even if it were the same fate that gave you to me that tried to set me up with them.”
