“Are you sure?” Serena asked worriedly. Kaydin especially had seemed eager to follow the traditional ceremony, and she didn’t want him to be disappointed.

“I’m positive,” Kaydin answered with another kiss on her ear. “The most important part is being with you and Jerrod, officially joining our lives together, and getting started on the family the three of us want.”

She grinned, lifted up to press a kiss to Kaydin’s mouth, and then maneuvered so that Kaydin sat on one side and there was room for Jerrod on the other. He immediately took the seat beside her and pulled them both into his arms. The three of them kissed each other for quite a long time before coming up for air.

“About that family thing,” Serena whispered, wanting her men to be the first to know. “Is it all right that we got going on that a little early?”

“Early? What do you mean?” Jerrod asked, looking adorably confused.

“She means,” Kaydin said, turning her around to face him. He searched her expression for a moment, perhaps finding what he hoped for. “That we’re pregnant?”

  “Yes.”

“But how do you know? I mean how can you be sure? Don’t you need to see a doctor or…or someone?” Jerrod looked completely freaked out. It wasn’t exactly the reaction she’d been expecting. “Maybe we should delay the mubella claiming for another day.”

“You don’t want to marry me?” Ice was filling her veins, even as everything inside her denied that was what Jerrod meant.

“Hell, no,” Jerrod said, pulling her into his arms even more tightly. The whole room had turned to him, obviously sensing his strange mood. Jerrod dragged in a ragged breath, let it out slowly, and tried again. “Hell, I mean, yes. Yes, I want to marry you. It’s just…maybe we should wait until after the baby is born. I’m not sure that claiming you right now would be good for the baby.”

“At this point in time the baby is about the size of my fingernail. Sex won’t hurt a healthy pregnancy.” She nodded toward Loukie and her partners who all grinned in agreement. “But if it will make you feel better, we can take things slowly. Please say you’ll marry me today.”

“Of course,” Jerrod said as she slid into his embrace. “As far as Kaydin and I are concerned you’ve been our mubella from the moment we met. This just makes it official.”

“Well then,” Kaydin said as he lifted her to her feet and guided them to stand in front of Ewin. “What on Descon are we waiting for?”

“Nothing,” Serena said as she held hands with both of her men. “I have everything I need right here.”
