Outlaw (Devil's Fury MC 2): Bad Boys Page 10

by Harley Wylde

It got quiet and no one seemed to know what to say. I didn’t either for that matter. I wanted friends, though, and if these ladies were attached to guys in the club, then I’d be seeing them a lot. Or so I thought. I rubbed my hands up and down my thighs, a bit nervous. What if they didn’t like me?

“I don’t normally do stuff like go to a biker club. I was passing through and the lady at the motel said I should check this place out. She left out exactly what the Devil’s Fury was when she gave me directions.”

Adalia laughed. “I bet that was a surprise. You seem a little…”

I rolled my eyes. “Yeah. I know. Outlaw says I look all sweet and innocent.”

  “Are you?” Meiling asked.

My cheeks warmed. “Not as much now as I was that’s for sure. I don’t know what it is about that man, but I seem to lose all sense when he’s around.”

The snickers told me that I wasn’t the only one who suffered from that affliction when it came to the Devil’s Fury men. Even Shella was blushing a bit and cast a glance toward the back of the house. I’d noticed when she arrived that the man at her heels had seemed extremely interested in what she was doing. Now I wondered if she felt the same about him. He’d been quite a bit older than her, but Outlaw was over a decade older than me. Age didn’t seem to matter much around here.

“So what trouble followed you here?” Adalia asked. “It seems to be a common theme. Meiling was trying to escape the owner of the strip club, among others. China was brought here by Blades when he found her in a brothel. Grizzly and Mae checked up on me after Badger found me in an alley. He killed the man who was raping me and went to prison. Shella’s mom was an addict who didn’t give a shit about her kids, only her next fix. And Lilian…”

Shella sighed. “It’s my fault she’s gone. She didn’t want Grizzly to know about the baby. I thought someone had hurt her. I didn’t know she’d wanted to be with Dragon. After all she went through in Colombia, I didn’t see how she could stand to be touched.”

My mouth opened and shut a few times. My life hadn’t been anything like theirs. Sure, I’d lost my parents when I was younger and went into the system, but I’d lucked out. Escaping a marriage to Garrison West had been lucky, but I hadn’t even realized I was in danger. I’d just known I didn’t want to marry him, so I’d left. My story was so… tame compared to theirs.

“A man I knew as Garrison West, but the club knows him as Bastard, wanted to marry me. My foster parents were pushing me to accept so I left when no one would take no for an answer,” I said. “But until then, my life hadn’t been bad. Strict, and a bit suffocating at times, but no one had ever hurt me.”

“I heard Badger grumbling about Bastard,” Adalia said. “He’s bad news and I’m so glad you didn’t end up in his hands. I overheard part of his conversation on the phone. Something about the marriages not always being legal and he made the women whores or drug mules.”

I nodded, that’s what Outlaw had shared with me. I didn’t know if he was supposed to tell me or not, but I was glad that he had. It made me feel a little less silly for running when I did. I only wished I knew if my foster parents were in on it, if they’d known who he was and what he’d wanted with me, or if they were in danger. If he’d heard anything since we’d talked, he hadn’t brought it up.

I didn’t know how these women lived like this, with only being told certain things, even when it pertained to them. Didn’t it bother them? I knew that Outlaw thought he was keeping me safe, but wouldn’t it be better if I knew that danger was coming? Of course, he’d said he wasn’t an officer, so I assumed that meant he didn’t make the rules and just followed them.

“I know that look,” Adalia said. “That look spells trouble. What are you thinking?”

I chewed my lower lip. “Well, wouldn’t it be better if we knew when we were in danger? I mean, it’s great the guys want to protect us and all, but if trouble is coming I would think we’d be less likely to have something bad happen if we knew to watch for it. Right?”

Meiling sat forward a little. “Go on.”

“What if we demanded that they tell us when bad things are coming down on the club, or if one of us has garnered the attention of someone who wants to hurt one or all of us?” I asked. “That’s stupid, right? They’d never go for that.”

China smiled faintly. “You’d be surprised what men will be willing to do with the proper motivation.”

Shella folded her arms over her chest. “Great. I have nothing to withhold since none of the guys here will touch me.”

Adalia arched an eyebrow at her. “None here, but you’re hooking up with someone somewhere, aren’t you?”

Shella blushed and nodded. “A few guys at the college. Nothing serious. It’s just some fun.”

Something told me that none of the guys knew about it, especially the one who had followed her. I could see him using any of those poor college guys as target practice. No doubt she was going to be trouble for whatever guy who tried to wrangle her.

The back door slamming into a wall startled me and I shot up out of my chair. I whirled to face the rear of the house and Outlaw, along with the others, came charging through. He stopped in front of me, placing his hands at my waist, and I could tell by the look in his eyes that something was really wrong.

“We just got word from Grizzly,” he said.

Shella shot up out of her chair. “What? Is something wrong with Lilian?”

“He lost her trail, but Dragon was still searching for her,” Outlaw said. “That’s not the news. Attila contacted him once he reviewed the files that were sent over about the rat infestation, and the trouble Bastard is trying to cause. He thinks it’s Shepherd, who is conveniently missing.”

“And my foster family? Are they involved? Was anyone able to find out?” I asked.

Pain flashed in his eyes. “Angel, your foster mom is gone. Her body was found on the side of the road. They shot her and dumped her.”

My heart slammed against my ribs and I felt tears well in my eyes. “They?” My voice cracked, but I didn’t care. The woman hadn’t been the warmest, but she’d taken me in when I didn’t have anywhere else to go.

“We think the reverend is part of the scam,” Outlaw said.

“It’s worse,” Badger said. “Don’t hide this shit from her. You see any officers here? You think any of us are keeping this from our women?”

  “What’s going on?” I asked.

“Your foster father, the good Reverend Tolbert, is the brother to Shepherd at the Savage Raptors. It’s not a coincidence that Bastard ended up as a deacon of that church. We think your foster dad went and got him the night he was left for dead, and they’ve probably been working together this entire time,” Outlaw said.

“And if your foster dad is related to a traitor, and helped Bastard all this time, it’s possible he’s partly responsible for the women who were put into brothels or used as drug mules. Don’t shed any tears for that asshole,” Badger said.

China was clinging to Blades and I had to wonder if this was all too much for her. Meiling looked a little pale too.

“Grizzly wants a handful of us to go help the Savage Raptors track down the three men. I’m volunteering,” Blades said. “I couldn’t keep you safe, but maybe I can prevent them sending any other women into a situation like yours. I’ll return soon, my China.”

I looked away as he leaned down to kiss her. My heart was breaking. Not just because a man I’d thought was good ended up being evil, and not just for the loss of Suzy Tolbert, but for these women with traumatic pasts who were having to face all this again. I felt like I’d brought this to their door. If I hadn’t shown up, if Outlaw hadn’t brought me to his house and asked me all those questions, would this ugliness have ever touched the Devil’s Fury?

“Angel, whatever dark thoughts just went through your head, forget them,” Outlaw said.

“If I hadn’t come here --” He pressed a finger to my lips, silencing me.

p; “Without you, we may not have ever known what was happening, which means that Attila may not have found out for several more years. If ever. Think of all the women you could be saving, all the ones they won’t be able to hurt once we catch them,” Outlaw said.

“He’s right.” Meiling pulled away from Dingo and came closer, placing her hand on my shoulder. “No one deserves to live that kind of hell. It’s a painful reminder of my past, and same for my mother, but we’d rather our guys go off and stop those monsters before others are hurt.”

“Thanks,” I said. “I needed to hear that.”

Outlaw cupped my cheek, drawing my focus back to him. The worry in his eyes made my stomach clench. He glanced at the others and seemed to do some sort of silent communication that cleared not only the room but the house. Everyone left, and we were alone once more.

“We’re leaving in a few hours,” he said.

“Guess that means you need to pack.”

He pulled me tighter against him. “No, it means I need to officially claim my woman. Then I need to pack.”

I gave him a faint smile and pushed up on my toes so I could kiss him. “Only you would think of sex at a time like this.”

“Baby, with you around, I’m always thinking about sex.”

  Chapter Ten

  Outlaw

I locked up the house to make sure we wouldn’t be interrupted, then I led Elena to the bedroom. If she’d thought I was kidding about claiming her, she was wrong. No fucking way I was going off without making sure she was mine in every way possible. In fact… Work your magic and make Elena my wife.

It only took Wire a second to respond. Did that earlier. You’ve been married for the last few hours.

That fucker. He must have done that after Church. I smiled and tossed the phone aside, pulling Elena against me. She placed her hands on my chest, but she didn’t push me away. She fisted the material of my shirt and held on.

“When I get back, we’ll go ring shopping,” I said. “Unless you want to tell me your size now and I’ll surprise you.”

“Ring size? I don’t need a ring, Noah.”

“My wife certainly does need a ring.”

  Her eyes widened slightly. “Wife?”

“Let’s just say if anyone goes looking, they’ll find all the proper papers saying we’re married. If you want an actual wedding, then we can talk about it when I get back, but as far as the world is concerned you’re now Elena Borden.”

Her brow furrowed. “Like that girl that murdered her family?”

“Lizzie Borden?” I asked. When she nodded, I debated admitting the truth. I’d seen the look in people’s eyes when I’d answered that question in the past, but decided not to keep it from her. “Distant cousins. Her direct line ended with her and her sister, but I’m related through her father’s side several generations back. We share a great-great-whatever grandfather. Like I said, distant. Very, very distant.”

“Elena Borden,” she said, as if she were trying out the name. She smiled up at me. “I like it.”

“Good, because I wasn’t giving you a choice. You’re mine, angel, and I’m never letting you go.”

Her grip on my shirt tightened. “I didn’t want you to.”

I kissed her, taking possession of her mouth like a starving man. Her lips parted and I deepened the kiss, wrapping my arms around her. I didn’t know why fate had picked her for me, but I wouldn’t argue. There was no one like Elena in all the world, and she was mine. Only mine. Forever.

I made quick work of removing my clothes. Her hungry gaze watched my every move, and I could see her nipples harden under her shirt. When I reached for her, she came willingly, let me strip her until I could hold her naked body against mine. I ached for her and worried that this would be over far too fast.

“We don’t have a lot of time,” I said, glancing at my phone display from where I’d tossed it on the floor. “I need to know we’re on the same page, Elena. No condoms. I want kids with you, if it’s at all possible. I know I’d said that I would give you time, but I don’t want to. I want a family with you more than I’ve ever wanted anything.”

She ran her fingers through my beard. “I ran from a man who wanted to keep me pregnant, or so I’d thought. But he wasn’t you, Noah. I want a family with you too, and I don’t care when it happens. If you want to try now, I’m okay with that.”

I cupped her cheek and kissed her softly. “I don’t know what I ever did to deserve you.”

“You’re a bad boy biker.” She smiled. “It’s probably the other way around. You’re my reward for being so good all these years.”

“I can live with that.” I lifted her into my arms and walked over to the bed, then eased her down onto the mattress. She looked so beautiful spread across my bed. I stretched out beside her, trailing my fingers over her soft skin. Her nipples hardened more, and I lightly brushed my thumb across one.

Elena gasped and arched into my touch. I gave the peak a little pinch before leaning over to take it into my mouth. I flicked the bud with my tongue before scraping my teeth over it. I felt her fingers grip the back of my neck as she tried to hold me in place. Smiling, I pulled away just to show her I could. She growled in frustration, which was cute as hell, but it quickly turned to a moan when I focused on her other nipple.

I loved how responsive she was. I stroked my hand across her belly, then a little lower. My fingers brushed the top of her slit and I could already tell she was wet. I rubbed my beard across her breasts as I slid a finger into her tight pussy. She felt so fucking incredible that I worried I’d blow the second I got inside her.

My phone started ringing on the floor, but I ignored it. Those fuckers could give me enough time to be with Elena at least once. She reached up and grabbed my beard, forcing me to look at her for fear she’d yank it out.

  “What, angel?”

“They need you. We’re out of time.”

“They can fucking wait,” I said. “I’m only sorry this isn’t the most romantic setting for your first time.”

“Noah, I don’t need flowers or anything. I just need you.” She kissed me. “Now shut up and make me yours.”

“I don’t want to hurt you.” It wasn’t that I’d been with a virgin before, but I’d heard that it could sometimes hurt a woman the first time. The last thing I wanted to do was cause her pain right before I left.

Elena tugged on me so I covered her body with mine. Her legs parted and I settled between them. My heart was pounding and I didn’t remember feeling this way even my first time with a girl. My cock nudged against her slick folds. I reached between us to get the right position, then slowly sank into her. She paled, but otherwise she didn’t show any signs of discomfort.

With one hard thrust, I buried myself inside her. She gasped and tensed a moment, but gradually, she began to relax. My dick pulsed and twitched inside her. She was so fucking tight, and felt so damn right. I was nearly shaking from the effort to not take what I wanted. If we’d had more time, I’d have jerked off first so I’d have had more control.

“I’m fine,” she said. “Really. It pinched a moment and there was a bit of a burn as you stretched me open, but it’s not painful.”

“I can move without hurting you?”

  She nodded.

I gave her a few short, slow thrusts, just to test if she was telling the truth or what she thought I wanted to hear. When she didn’t seem to be in any pain, I took her harder and faster. Our bodies slapped together, but I knew I couldn’t hold out long. Not this first time. It had been over four years since I’d been inside a woman, and even if it had just been yesterday, Elena felt like perfection and would have still tested my limits.

Using my thumb, I circled her clit. It took a few tries to get just the right amount of pressure and speed, but soon she was gasping and arching, trying to get even closer to me. I shifted my hips on the next thrust and must have hit the right spot because she came, crying out my name. The heat of her release made my balls si
zzle, and it only took another three strokes before I was filling her with my cum.

I kissed her as my cock jerked and the last few spurts shot from the tip into her. I savored her taste and wished the moment could last forever, but the damn phone was ringing again. Reluctantly, I drew back and stared down at her. Her cheeks were rosy and her eyes were shining brightly. I wanted to remember her like this forever, all happy and content, sated.

“My perfect angel,” I said, toying with her hair. “I wish we had more time.”

“I understand, Noah. Just go and hurry home. But be safe. If anything happens to you…” She drew in a sharp breath. “I can’t lose you. I know we’re still new, but I think it would break my heart if you didn’t come home.”

I traced her nose with mine. “I’ll come home to you. Whatever it takes.”

Kissing her one last time, I withdrew from her body. It killed me to rush through a shower instead of getting to spend a few more hours with Elena. It was one thing to fuck and run with some club whore or one-night stand, but my angel was my one and only. It felt wrong on so many levels. Waiting would have been better, but despite my reassurance to her that I’d return, part of me knew there was always a chance I wouldn’t make it. Being part of the club meant there were always risks. I’d accepted that when I’d asked to prospect.

She was curled up in the bed, the covers pulled up to her chin as I quickly pulled on my clothes and shoved a few things into a bag. I hoped we wouldn’t be gone too long, but it was a good twelve to thirteen hours from here to Bryson Corners. And since I was going, it would take even longer unless I took one of the club trucks. As much as I loved riding my bike, with my fucked-up hands, I couldn’t handle long trips. Even holding the steering wheel of a car was difficult after a half hour, but it was still easier than handling a bike that long of a distance.

When I was packed up, made sure I had the weapons I might need and enough ammo, then sent a quick I’m fucking coming to Dingo so they’d leave me the fuck alone, I knelt on the bed next to Elena and leaned over her. She tipped her face up and I kissed her, trying to show her everything I was feeling and didn’t have time to say. I backed away, grabbed my bag, and walked out after one last lingering look at my woman. I knew if I didn’t get the hell out of the house, I’d never leave her.
