After a short goodbye, they left the café and strolled down the sidewalk.
Fifteen minutes later, Darcy arrived at the house Seth and Gage were building. Seth put down his hammer and ran over to open her car door. When she got out, he pulled her close and kissed her passionately.

“I missed you,” he said.
“Missed me?” she laughed. “I saw you for lunch less than two hours ago.”
