A Scarlet Collection of Monsters and Madmen Page 21

by Bella BloodLust

  Jess said just loud enough for Kyle to hear, as she reached back to place the book on the shelf he opened the door and stood right behind her. Smelling her thighs and looking up beneath her soft terry cloth shorts, watching the delicate piece of cloth moisten between her legs, her scent was breathtaking. He wanted to taste her, he imagined that if he did, he wouldn’t be able to stop until she died completely from sheer pleasure alone. At that very moment he grabbed the ladder and tossed it to the side abruptly, “I notice everything.”

  His voice sliced through the air like a knife cutting Jess just behind the Achilles tendons. Instantly she started to fall, the moment she could find the courage to scream Kyle’s arms reached out and caught her. Gripping her close to his chest he leaned in, his carnal eyes matching the firm tone in his voice;

  “Just exactly what are you doing in my study Jess, and at five in the morning, no less.”

  Blushing and biting her lip she couldn’t help but be insanely aroused by the man holding her and scolding her for being a curious feline, out of her bed roaming around the castle far beyond her bedtime. Looking deep into his eyes and feeling powerless, she said:

  “I didn’t realize it was so late, I saw the door cracked and the light on and thought you were in here working and got swept away by your incredible collection.”

  Kyle slowly lowered Jess’s legs down towards the ground, she stood staring up into his eyes. He towered over her by nearly a foot, his broad shoulders blocking her escape and his strong arms clenching in a way that made her wonder if she’d already gone too far, to the point of no return. Jess slowly backed towards the table and turned towards the book;

  “This one for instance, is a collection of a distant relative of mine, one I’ve been searching for, for years with no luck as it’s considered a prized antiquity.” Kyle smiled;

  “Are you telling me I have the pleasure of not only hiring but sharing a wing with a descendant of Lord Byron?” Jess instantly relieved continued forward;

  “Yes, it’s actually quite an amusing story, he was well known for his wine and orgy filled parties, it was how he became a father to so many bastard children during that era. He just so happened to invite over Mary Shelley, and well to avoid scandal their child was put into an orphanage and her lineage now ends with me. I’ve always wondered if it’s why I’m a writer, if such things as these can really in fact be, in the blood, as they say.”

  She saw his eyes fill with wonder and amusement, he reached out towards her face gently caressing her left cheek, smiling longingly and deeply into her emerald filled ocean eyes.

  “You continue to fascinate me, in the most surprising ways Jess, if you’d like too you’re more than welcome to come in here and read this anytime.” His hand fell to his side;

  “Now if you don’t mind beautiful, this is the time I find to write; you’re more than welcome to stay and read if you’d like but I must remind you that silence is golden.”

  Kyle pulled out a chair and sat at the desk that had his laptop and current story waiting for him just as he left it the morning before, the words poured out of him effortlessly, as Jess cracked open the ancient book and delved into a world of wonder, from a mysterious branch in her own family tree. Hours went by and the pages turned slowly, gently as she read. Her eyes growing heavier as she felt herself trying not to fall asleep. She wanted to be near him, she could always feel his powerful magnetism even in this calm, flowing creative state. The sound of his hands pounding away at the keyboard swiftly turned into a passionate cadence. She felt herself swooning, the book resting in her lap she started to sleep, her head resting on the chair, her thigh propped up on the arm and her hands slowly finding their way to her breasts. She moaned softly, causing the rapid keystrokes to suddenly stop. Kyle smiled, his cock rock hard he felt her dreaming about him again.

  “Your filthy little mind really fuels the creative fires, my pet.” Laughing under his breath he felt her aroused energy flicking at his aura, inviting him to toy with her as he had been all night long.

  He turned around and saw her hands roaming, teasing her nipples under her shirt, hardening them with each tormenting flick of the finger. She bit her bottom lip, moaning, her eyes contorting as her other hand found itself resting just inside her panties. Touching her soft wet folds, he was in paradise, his chair now facing her he watched her undulate. Her toes curling beneath her socks, her hand reaching towards her neck, the book now falling from her lap and towards the floor. Kyle reached out catching it to prevent her from waking up from this private show entirely debuted for his pleasure. Gripping her throat firmly she smiled and bit down on her lip once more before her lips parted and sweet ecstasy escaped them with one single word that made his heart rush.

  As the blood pounded towards his cock and his eyes glowed, she whispered;

  “Kyle.”

  Her body buckled and hips thrust and bucked uncontrollably, pulsing and pounding, she slowly caught her breath and smiled falling into a deep slumber. The sun began to rise and the coming light illuminated the office, Kyle closed the blinds dimming the provoking sun into serene golden bands that shimmered along the ceiling, realizing the house would soon be alive. The children would be up and the staff was already awake, he knew it was time to take her where she belonged. How he wished tonight that it would be his room but for now she required sleep in her own chambers, she would need plenty of rest today, such a curious pussy, how close she came to being just a strange smell in the cellar. I suppose what they say is true, fortune really does favor the bold.

  Chapter 6:

  Mysterious Awakening

  Jess awoke to the sounds of children laughing, the sun peered into her window, she could tell by the angles of light streaking into the room that it was much later than she expected it to be. As she opened her eyes, her heart pounded;

  “Oh god where am I?!”

  She remembered falling asleep hearing the sounds of Kyle’s fingers typing away on keyboards. It was still dark while she was reading through her ancestry in one of his most treasured possessions, so how did she find herself in bed now hours later? She heard a knock on the door. Kyle had seen her wake up just a few moments earlier from the inner chambers of the home, watching her eyes crack open staring at her glowing skin as it was kissed by the sunshine of early afternoon. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her, especially now that he’d grown so close to her so quickly it seemed. For the most part it was easy to allude to such feelings for the sake of those who pined for him but Jess was unlike anyone he’d ever met before. She felt surreal, like a dream he always hoped existed in this world, but one much too good to be true, it had to be a trick of the light, there must be something about her, anything that would turn his affections towards his innate thirst for power, carnal hunger and control.

  “Come in” her voice trailed like a song bird to the door. Kyle instantly found himself smiling before he even saw her face, well at least in person. He’d been watching her sleep for hours as he continued his work downstairs, in the silent subdued dungeons of the home, filled with screams that were only heard by the lord of Burnett Manor. Jess turned her head and watched this towering man approach her with the greatest of ease, so silent each step he took appeared effortless yet for a man of his stature it took a lot of skill to move so gracefully, with such stealth and ease. He was wearing a soft oatmeal colored sweater this morning, the texture alone made her want to open her sheets and crack a carnal smile before inviting him into bed for morning caresses. He was in jeans again with house shoes this time instead of those intimidating boots of his. Those boots she could feel on her head pressing into her skull while his voice boomed against the dark walls of brick rooms. It was profound the mere glimpses that flowed into her mind freely from his that revealed his true nature. She wondered if this ease of mind melding was due to the fact that he was comforted by her presence or aroused by it. Quite possibly both, it was impossible to
tell with this remarkable man.

  “I hope you slept well.” Kyle said smiling,

  “You definitely don’t require beauty sleep, so rare to see such a beautiful woman fresh from the world of dreams.” She blushed replying;

  “Well I haven’t quite made it out of bed just yet, how did I manage to get here Sir?”

  “Well if I told you that, I’d have to kill you.” He said as his dark eyes glowed and his grin turned mysteriously sinister. As Jess bit her lip waiting for more he continued with a taunting smile,

  “You managed to fall asleep in my office as I worked until late this morning. For fear of leaving you to wake up alone, I thought it was best to carry you back to your chambers to slumber more peacefully.”

  “Wow” Jess smiled.

  “I’m usually much more alert when it comes to being carried, or even noise in general. It just doesn’t happen usually, I can’t believe I didn’t wake up, the flight and getting settled in must’ve exhausted me.”

  “Among other things.” Kyle replied. Jess’s mouth opened in awe, she didn’t expect such boldness, and she thought he’d do his best to play the part of the coy, unknowing boss, perhaps she was getting to him?

  Jess smiled blushing, as she started to laugh a bit and respond he instantly intercepted her thought already hearing it in her mind,

  “When you’re ready the children are downstairs waiting to meet you. I’ve asked them to play outside today instead of in their dayroom next door to your office. I didn’t want them to wake you, I realize you needed the sleep after such a rigorous night.” Kyle smiled his eyes twinkling and his right eyebrow lifting just so to inform her that he watched every nuance and detail of her long into the twilight hours before they were sharing his office together in such sensual ways.

  “Yes, rigorous.” Jess’s eyes turned feline she matched his sensuality and watched him smile.

  “I’m actually quite pleased you slept in this morning, it means we’ll get to have breakfast together. The children usually eat much earlier than I prefer too, it’ll be nice catching up before I’m locked away for the day in my office with my colleagues, there’s a lot of chaos that goes into adapting your personal written work into a screenplay and film production company. But we’ll discuss that some other time, I’m sure.” Kyle started to leave.

  “It’s nearly Noon, would you like to meet me in the formal dining room at 1pm for breakfast? Or Brunch?” He smiled waiting patiently for her reply.

  “It would be my sincerest pleasure, Sir.” Jess leaned up in bed, her nipples hard, teasing his eyes he could see her long legs curling up, she rested on her blanket covered knees and smiled sincerely, counting the moments of eye contact between them as he started to leave.

  “1..2…3” she counted in her mind, continuing her thoughts, “I wonder just how long he plans to take.”

  “Good. I look forward to it Jess, prepare yourself for questions, my children are more curious about you than even I am.”

  Kyle left with that wicked grin that made her want to rip her clothes off and beg him to stay, to forego feasting on breakfast but to feast on her instead. The door closed, the golden doorknob locking into place, the clicking made her shudder. It was time to get ready and fast, an hour wasn’t that long to get ready, at least this was just for brunch, not her ominous fate that awaited her in the world of Darkeel.

  Jess instantly rushed to the shower tossing aside her sheets and running to the closet tearing at her clothes as quickly as possible. As she peeled her clothes off socks first, then chemise watching from his mind’s eye Kyle could see every inch of her soft skin, white as snow, reminding him of the cold harsh winters of his youth where large families placated to little resources leaving him to survive in hellish ways; in ways that still haunted him to this very day.

  He remembered the first time he saw a body like hers in youth, it was fresh after a blizzard and again Kyle and his siblings were sent into the darkness and pits of blustery hell itself to fetch more firewood to stay warm through the night. It was a dark March evening, he was alone with one torch telling his younger brothers to stay behind, knowing they’d never make it back in this wind chill. He marched towards the horizon near a patch of fallen dead trees that still harbored enough wood for winter, hopefully. He walked towards his usual spot, his eyelashes now icicles, his hands numb he saw it the palest snow after the storm hit late the night before, trickled drops of blood leading towards a trail. He wondered what wild animal had been hunted down and if it was still close by, or worse, still eating. He didn’t carry a rifle like most, he preferred just what was needed for the task at hand, an axe.

  His hand was ready, gripped hard on the axe even though he could barely feel it, he started marching towards the blood, as the puddles pooled towards a beautiful naked woman, lying there. Completely frozen with long locks of scarlet soaked in blood. Her face serenely sleeping, a wry smile on her face displayed on the corpses left Kyle for the first time with a serene feeling inside. Deep inside he felt that darkness of tormented youth sparked into existence, the thick energy permeated as his eyes continued to examine her body. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her, the curve of her back, the way her torso flowed into her thick luscious hips. Never before had he laid eyes upon a naked woman before, he felt aroused and captivated by this clandestine moment frozen in time. Her thick legs were iced over and her knees and feet disappeared into the snowbank. Kyle started chopping, the woods were echoing with the sound of wood being torn apart. There wasn’t much time before the next flurry of this storm came through he needed to get back with a piece large enough to burn through the night, but his eyes were transfixed on the porcelain back that was slowly disappearing under the snow. As the wind continued to scream, howl and swirl by slowly hiding what really happened here, between Kyle and this corpse who had opened Pandora’s Box, and the one who left her there for him to discover in the first place.

  Kyle was downstairs by now waiting for her, hoping to wash away the memories of both his tortured youth as well as the origins of his only way out. He never truly enjoyed killing, at least not those who didn’t deserve it. But sometimes beautiful things are created from horrific nightmares, and all that is left is cleaning up the mess and picking up the pieces and trying to move forward.

  Knowing that Darkeel was waiting again, hungry, fueling the fires and waiting to take his next victim. He was just too young to know just what was lurking in the forest that hellish night in March, one he always hoped he’d have long ago forgotten.

  He soothingly took a breath watching his children playing in the yard, smiling, laughing and creating games that made him laugh and smile. They were his light, they illuminated his world and reminded him that life was truly worth enjoying; not just destroying. Even if the past crept in as often as it could to tear apart the world he worked so desperately to create for their sake as well as his. He knew it was the only way to ensure the tyrant within wouldn’t burn the empire down and tear this world apart.

  Suddenly he heard her voice within his head, her voice carrying clear as a bell, instantly taming his wandering mind, singing. Her sultry voice rich and melodic made him sigh in content. He felt her soothing energy washing over him like the hot shower she was in this very moment. He smiled wondering how much longer she’d be, she still had half an hour.

  “I should’ve said 12:30, just to see her squirm.” Kyle chuckled to himself feeling his cock twitch in his jeans, amused by his sadistic ways;

  “Very soon dear Jess, you will be Mine.”

  Her hair was still perfect from the night before, between the silk sheets and the gentle, delicate way he positioned her into bed to sleep. She jumped out of the shower unclipping and tousling her hair onto her wet shoulders, she wandered to the window noticing the children playing outside below her.

  “Oh God, I hope they can’t see me.” She tucked her towel under her arms tighter before tryi
ng to open the window. She cracked it and watched the steam escape.

  “Ooo, she’s up!” yelled the voice of a young girl,

  “I wonder when we get to meet her?” another voice replied,

  “I’m sure it won’t be much longer, now let’s go find him, he’s hiding here somewhere.” They continued wandering into the vines around the house calling out and searching for the dog.

  Jess mindfully realized the time and knew she had only fifteen minutes to meet him in the dining room to make a lasting impression. She quickly applied her makeup, her eyelashes painted, lips and fresh glow she was ready for clothes now if only she could control her over aroused limbs, this delicate dance of sensuality and time would go over just swimmingly. She wandered into the closet reaching for her wedge peach shoes, putting on her skintight jeans before growing four inches, she always loved a man tall enough to wear heels with. She then reached for an emerald tank top, and the softest of her sweaters. Coffee colored angora, she set it on the bedside before positioning her day corseted breasts, and like a swollen soft melon patch they were ripe for the taking. Wrapping the soft fabric around her arms she felt the biting chill in the air.

  “Brrr, I should’ve known better than to leave that bathroom window cracked, I’m definitely not in California anymore.” She trotted in and couldn’t help but notice how cold it was already. Looking down her red painted toes flirted well in these shoes;

  “Alright ladies it’s time to shine.” She grabbed her book off the nightstand shut the door silently behind her, she loved being stealth it let her catch him off guard, he couldn’t be so mysterious if she had the upper hand.

  She walked downstairs, every so often a floorboard panel creaked and she smiled matching his in the dining room, he looked down at his watch. She had five minutes to spare and easily would make it at the requested time. Very impressive, as most took these informal meals as a sign of relaxed disposition, something Kyle detested and what usually provoked his former staff to vanish without a trace so much swifter than if they’d have minded or discovered formal etiquette.
