  Dedication

  To my amazing husband.

Thank you for always believing in me, even when I didn’t believe in myself.

  About the Book

Cade Wesley has everything he could ever want.

  His own thriving bar.

  A house on the beach.

  Money in his bank account.

His pick of women whenever he wants.

But he’s been so busy lately that he hasn’t had a warm body in his bed in far too long. All that is about to change.

When Nora Jensen walks into Cade’s Tavern, it’s lust at first sight.

In town on business with the freedom to cut loose, why shouldn’t she take a chance on the handsome bartender and indulge in her first ever one-night stand?

Of course, things are never quite that easy...

  Prologue

  Cade

  Christ, she's amazing.

Her hair cascades across my chest as she rides me like it's the only thing in her life that has meaning. Each time she lifts herself forward, she scrapes her nails across the tight skin of my chest. It’s a delicious mix of pain and pleasure, and it causes chills to race across my body. Damn, she sets an unbelievable rhythm too. Up, down, back, and forth with this amazing hip swirl at the end that has me fighting desperately to hold my load.

My breathing is ragged and my heart is pounding, the pleasure building to epic proportions. The tingles start to spread down my spine and my balls tighten up in anticipation. I tip my head back and close my eyes, trying to hang on. Her hair tickles my nipples as she takes me deep, rocking onto my cock, and a moan escapes my lips even though I try to suppress it. Yeah, there's no way I can last much longer. This woman is too damned good. I'm so fucking close but it's just out of reach.

I hear her moan in ecstasy above me, her ass grinding against my balls as she moves. She flings her head back, moaning my name and begins pulsing around my hard cock as she rocks to the magical rhythm she’s set in motion. Just a few more strokes and I'll—

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.... BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.

  "What the fuck?"

Cracking open my eyes and lifting myself up to rest on my elbows, I blink my blurry vision away and focus on the room around me, no sexy woman in sight.

"Fuck me…” It was a dream.

Closing my eyes in disgust and dropping my head back down on my pillow, I lie still for a second staring at the ceiling, then reach over and disable the alarm on my phone which is still beeping. I'm quickly reminded of my rock hard cock the minute I turn to my side and it touches the cool sheets.

  Fuck that's cold.

And what the fuck was that all about?

I know I'm in a dry spell but damn, it's only been about a month since I went home with that sexy blonde from the bar. I’ve been so damned busy lately I just haven’t had the time to hook up—but obviously, I’m overdue if I’m having dreams this realistic. Fuck, I could have sworn this chick was real.

Shaking off wandering thoughts of said blonde, I contemplate what I should do now. I have a busy day ahead, but the way I see it, I have two options. I could just lay here running sports stats or restaurant business figures through my mind—really anything non-pussy-related—until my erection goes down, and I can head out on my run. That would be the smarter choice since it would have me getting started with my day sooner. Or, I could go with plan B—jack off now and then take my run down the beach after. It’s an easy choice when you think about it. Easier, but not necessarily smarter.

Why put off till later what you can do right now?

Flinging the blankets off my hips with the dream fresh in my mind, I close my eyes and run my hands over my chest and down my abs, taking hold of my cock, and stroking it. It flexes in my hands the minute I touch it. It's so embarrassingly primed and ready that it shouldn't take long to blow. The tip is still slick as I slide my fingers over it, spreading the drops across my shaft. I haven’t had one of these dreams in a long time, and I don’t ever remember having one this intense, this real. I pull my thoughts back to the alluring woman in the dream. I can't focus on her face, which is frustrating, but I can still feel her bouncing on my dick, riding me hard. I can see her above me, grinding her pussy against me, her heavy tits bouncing with every movement. Pumping my cock with the same rhythm as the imaginary woman slamming down on it, it takes just a few minutes before my breath catches and I'm coming all over my stomach. My cock pulses wildly as stream after stream spurts across my stomach and up onto my chest. I can’t help but thrust into my tightly clenched fist. It feels like my orgasm is never going to end. My vision even gets a little blurry from it.

Fuck, that felt good. When was the last time I did that?

  My cock lays
spent across my belly, thoroughly satisfied. I stay rooted in my spot, catching my breath for a few minutes, relaxation setting in, and now I'm debating even going for the damned run. I know I'll regret it if I don't, so I reluctantly roll my ass out of bed and stroll naked into the bathroom, the cool air drifting across my heated skin. I grab a warm, wet washcloth and clean my stomach and chest, and then I make my way back to the dresser and put on some running shorts. The shower can wait until after my run. After pulling on some socks and lacing up my sneakers, I grab my phone and headphones, trot downstairs, and head out the door into the bright early-morning Miami sun.

Starting the morning with a good wank session?

Yeah, today is gonna be a great day.

  Chapter One

  Cade

  "Good morning Cade."

"Morning Abby," I pant as I run by, laughing to myself. No matter what time of morning I come out to the beach for my run, Abby's always out on her deck, usually sipping her coffee in some version of an exercise outfit that leaves nothing to the imagination.

Today is no exception. Her pink yoga pants and yellow workout shirt are practically painted on her stacked body. Yet, in all the times I’ve seen her out here in her gear, I don’t think I’ve ever actually seen her working out.

  "Oh, Cade. Wait up."

Shit. This is the reason I try not to run by her house. She's always lingering around when I'm outside, waiting to hit on me and hinting around for me to ask her out.

The first time I met her here on the beach, she was none too subtle about her attraction to me. I had gone out for my morning run and slowed down to walk the rest of the way to my house when she cornered me near her deck, all touchy-feely and giggly, which was weird considering I was all sweaty from the run. She tried hard—believe me—and I didn't think I would escape that morning with my virtue intact.

She's what I would refer to as a cougar in training. Don't get me wrong. Forty-one looks damned good on her, but she's just not my type.

I stop short in the sand and wait for her to reach me, her sandals slapping against the wood as she bounds down the stairs in my direction.

"What can I do for you, Abby?" I pull my hands up to my waist and rest them there, shifting my feet in the sand while I catch my breath.

Her smile turns mischievous when she reaches me. "Oh, honey, you can do plenty of things for me."

Damn. I walked right into that one.

Her hand slides up my sweaty forearm. "You know I'm just teasing you, Cade." She bites her lip as her eyes run across my chest. I make a mental note to wear a shirt on my next run. "I wanted to see if you were free sometime this week. I'd love to have you over for dinner."

The way she says it makes me think I’m the one on the menu.

I put on my best smile and try to let her down gently. "Thank you for the offer Abby, but I'm gonna be busy at work this week. To be honest, I'll be busy for a while with the business expansion and all."

She pouts, stepping in to crowd my space. "Aww, that's too bad. We'll just plan it for some other time then. One of these days Cade Wesley, you will not have an excuse." She drops her hand from my arm, reaching it around to pinch me.

  Right on the ass.

I wish I could say it was the first time.

With her back to me, she speaks over her shoulder as she's walking away. "See ya around, honey." She puts extra swing in her step as she trudges through the sand back up to her stairs.

Shaking my head with a laugh, I jog down the beach again. Rounding the last turn, I head back down the straight stretch of beach that runs parallel to my house. Buying my house was a no-brainer. It sits right on the beach, and it’s a private beach at that. It’s literally right out my back door, so I can come out and enjoy it any time I want. I love running along the shore, too. There's something therapeutic about the fresh, salty sea air and the ocean breeze. Sunrises never look more magnificent than when they're coming up over the water's edge. I know it's a girly thing to say, but shit, it's true. The beach is my one refuge. No matter what's going on in my life, I'll make time for its sandy shores and crystal blue waters. I don’t have many vices, but if I had to pick one, it would be the beach. And maybe women, but definitely the beach.

I run up the deck stairs and through the back door, stopping at the fridge to chug a bottle of water before heading upstairs to shower. I leave my shoes outside by the door, not bothering to clean the sand out of them. I can do it later when it’s dry. The socks are off before I make it to the staircase and, by the time I get to my room, the shorts are gone too. I toss the sweaty clothes into the hamper and start the shower, climbing in when the water’s warm. The spray beats down on me, soothing my muscles and washing away my morning’s activities. I could stay in here for hours, but my impromptu jerk-off session and my run-in with Abby put me behind schedule, and now I need to hurry. Thirty minutes later, I'm clean, shaved—with no cuts, thankfully—dressed, and out the door headed to work.

The beach may be my escape but this is my home away from home.

  My bar.

  My livelihood.

  My future.

I bought this bar four years ago, when the owners, who happened to be my parents' friends, decided to retire. With no legacy of their own, they had no problem turning it over to me, even though I was only twenty-three at the time. My three brothers and I had spent many years working in and hanging out at this bar, and it didn't seem right to let it close. High school, college, girlfriends, and friends all came and went, but this bar always had our backs.

Hell, I'd gotten my first blowjob in the storage room out back when I was seventeen. I'd just started waiting tables a few weeks before and a hot little brunette waitress who graduated the year before me decided I deserved a reward for my new “promotion” to waiter. How ungrateful would I be if I had turned her down, right? She’d pulled me over behind some stacked boxes near the liquor cage before our shift started, unbuckled my jeans, and dropped to her knees. She had my dick out and in her mouth in record time, and it was fucking amazing. I didn’t know whether to be ecstatic it was finally happening or pissed off it had never happened before. It was the single most amazing moment of my life, at least up until that point. Anyway, I'd just finished coming in Sadie’s mouth—which was fucking sexy as hell, by the way—when my older brother Sloan walked in to get liquor from the locked cage so he could stock the bar out front. He was quick to bust my balls about it after Sadie left. Not that he cared if I got a blowjob or not—his fist bump afterwards hinted at big brotherly pride for my accomplishment. He just knew if the owners, Mr. or Mrs. Reynolds, had caught me instead, they'd surely tell my parents about my indiscretion. That was not a conversation I wanted to have, especially with my mother. And believe me, she would absolutely want to talk about it. Needless to say, it was the first and last time I messed around in the storage room. Well, at least until I took ownership. Being the owner does have its perks.

Being around the service industry most of my life, buying and running the bar seemed like the perfect career path for me. The bar itself was well established and my name on the door—along with the insane number of legal documents I had to fill out—was really the only thing that changed. Fortunately for me, it came with a decent clientele. Unfortunately, that clientele was a little on the older side, so I've spent the most of my time trying to bring in a younger crowd. Live music seemed to be the answer to my problems. Popular local bands, including Seven's Edge which is the biggest one around here, have really pulled in the people, making my bar one of the busiest on the beach. Building an entire deck out over the water with a water-accessible boat ramp and entrance was a smart idea too. With the added pool tables and plenty of flat screen televisions, this place stays packed almost every night of the week. Weekends are downright insane. And the long-time regulars really love what I've done with the place, which makes it even better. The prime beach-side location ensures I have good business year around between the tourists and colle
ge kids.

The kitchen staff begins arriving to start the food prep while I head to the office to work on schedules and payroll. It's going be a long afternoon, but at least I get to leave early.

I'm not even fully seated in my chair when there's a knock on my door, and I look up to Jason pushing it open.

  "Hey boss."

"Hey. What's up? You're not supposed to be here till four o'clock." Jason is one of my managers.

"I needed to bring this by." He hands me a liquor order sheet. "I filled this out last night but somehow ended up taking it home with me. Figured you'd be looking for it."

I take it from him and put it on my desk for later. "Thanks, man. You're right. I'd be blowing up your phone." I laugh and Jason does too.

"So, are you coming back for the dinner shift tonight?"

I'm already shaking my head before he even finishes the sentence. "Fuck no. I need the night off." I've been working myself ragged between shifts at the bar and working on this expansion, but if I play my cards right, I could have another bar opened within the next year down in Austin, on some waterfront property on Lake Travis.

Jason scoffs. "I've heard that before."

"Yeah, well, this time I mean it." I throw out the words, but even I don't believe them. No wonder he doesn't either.

"Sure boss. Whatever you say." Jason heads back to the door. "I'll get out of your hair. See ya at four."

"See ya." I give him a cursory wave without looking up from the stack of papers on my desk. No sooner does the door click shut than the phone rings.

I'm never going to get any fucking work done.

I grab the receiver. "Cade's Tavern. This is Cade."

"You don't answer your fucking cell phone. Why do you even carry one?"
