Hat Trick

“You remember when we were exploring each other in front of Robert that day? It seems he picked up some of the things that we did to each other and tried to use them when we were making love. He used his fingers to excite me and went down below my navel to excite me like you used to. The way he reacted to the incident that day, I feared he would never be able to move on. But to think that he actually tried to learn something and had the imagination to use it when we were together says a lot about how much he has changed. I finally feel that I am in a marriage where the relationship has two partners with equal rights among them. I have been a part of this marriage for such a long time but I never felt this way that I do about Robert now, earlier.” Adelaide almost ran out of breath talking about her new found love with her husband. This was something that Elisabeth rarely saw when she used to interact with her initially.
“That is so good to hear Adel. I knew he was a good man. But it is great to hear that he is going the extra mile to please you now. You deserve all the happiness in the world, Adel.” Elisabeth responded.
“So do you Elisa. Don’t worry. Everything will work out between you and Thomas. Tell me, do you feel any regret because of how our relationship ended? I know we have already spoken about this. But I really wanted to ask you this today as you move into Thomas’s estate and are on the verge of possibly starting a relationship.” Adelaide had already planned on talking to Elisabeth about this.
“Not at all Adel. There was no future in that relationship and I think we both knew that. It is time you moved on and so did I. That is exactly why I agreed to move with Thomas in the first place. I cannot let anything come between you and Robert.” Elisabeth sounded firm when she said this.
“Will you be comfortable with Thomas?” Adelaide was not prepared to ask this question and she hoped and prayed she answered in the affirmative.
“I really did have to move out. Although I had never imagined it would to Thomas’s estate. While I do not have a problem with moving there, I am anxious about living with a man. I have been around women all my life. Whether they were in the form of my customers or with you, I have never had to deal with men in the past. I do not even know how to make love with a man. I have only had any kind of physical relationship with you.” Elisabeth said innocently.
Adelaide started laughing hysterically when she said that. “I know, you have not been with a man, dear Elisa. But believe me, they bring with them a sweet pain that you will grow to love.”
Elisabeth blushed at the thought of Thomas being on top of her. She could imagine their skin touching as their naked bodies touched. She loved the muscly build of his frame and his strong hips. He managed to push her up on top of the table just by lifting her with his hips. She could feel his manhood erect when he pushed her up. Her heart skipped a beat when Thomas squeezed her bottom and she moaned as his hands ran over her bosom.
Adelaide realized that she had touched on a sensitive subject as she saw Elisabeth fidgeting and reaching for imaginary things. She tried to calm her down and make her sit down.
“It’s ok to be nervous first time. Moreover, you are just moving in to his estate, right? There is no way it will come to that!” Adelaide said playfully.
“Stop it Adel!” Elisabeth had turned a dark shade of pink.
“If not Thomas, you would have to be comfortable with another man sometime in your life. So why not now? You have already kissed him and found him insatiable, so it only makes natural sense that you give him a chance at least!” Adelaide was still giggling.
“I just don’t see a future in this relationship, to be honest. He is a friend of the Earl while I am just a mere seamstress. And I do not want to be any man’s mistress!” She sounded defensive when she said this.
“Why would even say such a thing? Do you forget that you are the friend of the Earl’s wife? Do not sell yourself short Elisabeth. Thomas would be lucky to have you. You are a wonderful human being and a true friend.” Adelaide tried to increase her friend’s confidence.
“Whatever the outcome, though, I am going to confine myself to the walls of the carriage house. I will leave to come to work and finish the dresses that I have lined up for the show and only go back to sleep. That is all I am going to do.” As Elisabeth said that, they heard the sound of the approaching carriage and they quickly closed the trunk and got ready to head down and leave. They would first make the trip to the estate and while they arranged to get the carriage house ready, the coachman would head back to Elisabeth’s place and carry the luggage back with Leona and Sally.

Chapter 28
“What do you mean the place is not ready?” Elisabeth’s eyebrows were raised and her mouth remained slightly open, aghast, why this was happening to her.
“Well, the roof fell down in on the carriage house last night. It could be because of the rain or maybe there might have been some problem when they re-did the house.” Thomas was obviously really embarrassed about all this.
“The roof fell in! What if I was there when it happened? You asked me move in here, you remember?” Elisabeth had lost her mind by then.
“Calm down Elisa. I am sure Thomas did not intend for this to happen.” Adelaide said holding Elisabeth by her arms. She patted her arms as if to tell her that it will be alright.
“I have made arrangements for you to move into the house, though. You can take the room adjoining the sewing space that I had made out for you. You can work there and instead of going into the carriage house, you will take a room inside the house. That’s all. Everything else remains the same.” Thomas tried to sound helpful when he said that.
Elisabeth felt like someone had hit her very hard on her stomach. What Thomas said placed him and herself in the same house. After the first few moments of shock, she started getting excited at the prospect of sharing a house with the man who she had such a chemistry with. It was going to be a difficult ordeal for a woman who had been surrounded by women all her life, but maybe that is what made it so much desirable to Elisabeth. Her initial plan was to avoid any contact with Thomas but at the mere sight of him, her mind changed. She did not want to go back to the place that she lived in previously. And he had a huge estate. She could barely see a quarter of it from where she stood. He probably had about 10 rooms in that house that he could spare. Elisabeth decided to take a leap of faith. But before making her mind up, she glanced to her side, towards Adelaide.
Adelaide realized that her friend was looking at her for help as soon as she glanced at her. She batted her eyelid once to indicate that even she thought that this would be the best way forward.
“Ok Thomas. I am fine with those arrangements. Please show us your grand estate while your coachman goes back and gets my trunks and bags.” Elisabeth said trying to force a smile.
The coachman left to get her luggage as Thomas took the ladies around the house.
They walked in through the gate where they were standing and as they moved in, they could see the house among the wide oak trees that dotted the whole estate. The house was painted white and shone under the sunlight. The front of the house was visible from the gate and held a huge entrance door. It was almost twice the size of any normal man. As they made their way towards the door, she noticed that the boards used in making the house looked really heavy and probably were very expensive. It seemed Thomas did not spare any expenses when he re-did the house.
There was big wolf’s head on the door that had a door knocker on it. Thomas held the knocker and rang it against the plate under the knocker. Someone opened the door from inside and greeted them as soon as they came in.
“Hello Madams and Sir!” An excited young girl opened the door when they came in.
“My name is Martha.” She continued.
“Martha, this is Madam Elisabeth. She will be staying with us from now on. And you have already met Madam Adelaide before!” Elisabeth noticed how kindly he spoke to Martha.
“Hello Madam! It’s so nice to finally meet you. I was s
o excited when Mr. Thomas told me that we will be having a guest over at our house.” Martha said. Her excitement showed at how she looked at Elisabeth.
Martha must have been around her early 20s and she seemed like a bubbly girl who had no idea about the dark, sinister world that surrounded the other people in the room. Elisabeth moved close to her and said “We will make good friends, you and I!” That seemed to get Martha more excited.
She suddenly realized that Adelaide was in the room too and turned and asked if she would like to have some tea as she always does. Adelaide smiled back at her and said that she would love a cup of tea.
“Martha, could you make me a pancake as well? I feel starved.” Adelaide called back at her as she was about to leave.
“Elisabeth? You would like some too, I am sure?” asked Thomas as he looked at Elisabeth and smiled.
“Yes, I would love some as well!” Elisabeth returned the smile but did not hold his gaze.
“Pancakes for everyone Martha!” he screamed so that Martha could hear who had already made her way into the kitchen.
“Come, have a seat!” said Thomas.
As soon as one entered the main door, they were ushered into a hardwood floor fixed in the form of bricks when laid on a wall. At the middle of the area was a large carpet. The carpet was looking odd and Elisabeth noticed how a more elegantly designed maroon carpet would look better here instead of the black one which lay there.
Two big pillars stood on either side of this area which ran towards the edge of the wall that connected to the wall which held the entrance door. A series of steps then lead to the upper floor and two separate passages moved in the left and right directions. As they moved forward, they found that on the right hand side, the passage led to a drawing room which had a large windows with drapes hanging from its edges. She noticed that the room definitely needed some new drapes and a makeover.
It did not escape her notice that the house was very well made, structurally. The chairs looked expensive and the rug in front of the fireplace looked snug. “The room could use some better lighting though” she told herself.
“These steps that you see leading up are the new additions. They have been made to replace the smaller ones that were here earlier. The stairs that Elisabeth saw now leading up could easily accommodate up to seven people standing shoulder to shoulder. They moved up the stairs and the stairs moved up to a platform where there were stairs leading in the opposite direction. There was a bust kept at the middle of this platform. They continued up the stairs to reach the main floor which had a rug in the middle of the landing area. There was a room on the left of the house and the door that went straight headed into the dining area. The room on the left was Thomas’s study and library. They went in there briefly but Elisabeth saw the numerous books that laid strewn across the room. There were more books on the floor of the room then there were on the shelves. On the right was Thomas’s room where he slept. It was a very poorly lit room that was probably only used for sleeping. The dining room at the center of the floor was huge and could easily seat 30 people on it. Thomas took them towards the balcony that overlooked the dining room. The view from this balcony was amazing. They could see the trees that lined the estate clearly and the boundary wall running across the length of the street. The estate was located at a crossroad and if a cart passed by, one could see it from the balcony. The balcony had the perfect setting for a lazy sunny Sunday afternoon.
They came out of the dining area and went back down stairs so that Thomas could show them the room where Elisabeth would stay. He showed them the kitchen which was behind the stairs and while the drawing room was located on the right when one came in from the entrance, the room that Elisabeth would stay in was on the left. There were two doors that lead to two rooms on either side of the passage. One lead to her sewing space which overlooked the backyard while the other room was the one where she would stay, that overlooked a part of the entrance gate and the lines of trees. Elisabeth found the room to be really spacious and it seemed to get a lot of sunshine which was always welcome. There was a bed which was attached to the wall at the back and it was right down the middle of the room. While there were huge windows on one side, the other side of the room had wardrobes and closets where Elisabeth could keep her clothing and other dresses. She started to make a plan in her head.
“Well, this looks lovely! Doesn’t it, Elisabeth? I love this room!” exclaimed Adelaide.
“Yes, it is perfect. The sewing space looks spacious as well. Thomas you have outdone yourself. I cannot thank you enough for being so generous and letting me inside your house.” Elisabeth said while looking at Thomas and smiling.
“Well, that is very nice to hear, Elisa! I appreciate it!” Thomas responded with a smile.
Martha came knocking on the door to let them know that the pancakes were ready and they should head over the dining area. All three of them moved into the dining area where pancakes were laid on plates at the edge of the table. The plate in the middle was obviously meant for the head of the house and there were two other plates that were placed on either side of the head seat of the table. Elisabeth sat on the right of the center chair and Adelaide sat on the left.
“You have made some marvelous changes to the house, Thomas. The balcony looks magnificent now. It is simpler than the one you had before, but I feel you can really look into the slope that runs down the street that leads to this house. I think the two rooms downstairs are a wonderful addition as well.” Adelaide seemed impressed by what Thomas had done with the place.
Thomas seemed pleased to hear all the compliments that were being showered on him. “So how does my dear friend, the Earl fare?” he asked looking towards Adelaide.
Just his name was enough to bring about a redness in her cheeks. “He is well and misses you. You barely ever come to the Chateau anymore.” Adelaide complained.
“The Earl seems to have his hands full these days” Thomas said winking at Adelaide.
“Oh shut up!” Adelaide said and looked towards Elisabeth for some help out of the uncomfortable situation.
“The pancakes are delightful, Martha” said Elisabeth to which Martha, who was standing at the corner of the room responded with “Thank you madam!”
“Martha does make some delightful pancakes.” Thomas added lifting a slice of the pancake up in the air to admire the look of it.
After stuffing themselves with the pancakes, they helped themselves to some Tea and moved out into the balcony. Elisabeth saw Thomas’s carriage come back through the entrance gate and saw it move round to the front of the house away from her view. Elisabeth spun around to look for Martha inside the dining area.
“Martha, can you please come downstairs with me while I unload the carriage?” Elisabeth asked her.
“Elisa, you rest. They will keep everything in your room and I can help you with arranging your things once Adelaide has left.” Thomas tried to lend a helping hand to ease her into the house.
“Do you know anything about folding dresses?” Adelaide started laughing as soon as she said it.
The other two women also joined in on the laugh while Thomas just stood there looking at them, clueless about what the joke was.
“Martha will help me with the clothes. But I will just arrange them later because I really am tired right now.” Elisabeth managed to say after she forced herself to stop laughing.
Martha went on downstairs and Elisabeth heard that she had opened the door and let Leona and Sally in. She smiled at the prospect of staying at a new place which an almost unknown man. This could very well turn to be a great adventure. The uncertainty of it all vexed her and made her anxious but she felt willing and able to take a jump and see where it took her.

Chapter 29
It had already been two weeks since Adelaide had moved into Thomas’s estate. It took her almost two days to unpack all her stuff and arrange them neatly in the drawers in the closet and hang the dresses in the closets. All h
er accessories were put in a drawer which was near the bedside dressing table. It had a wide mirror with a larger center piece and two smaller pieces of glass on the side. Elisabeth had tied laces all around the edge of the mirror that made it look nice and homely. She had changed the bed sheets and put fresh sheets that she had sewn herself in her shop in the last couple of weeks.
Elisabeth woke up early in the morning every day and asked Martha for warm water to bathe. While she was working on her plans for the day in her head, she suddenly squealed when she saw Thomas come out from behind the trees wearing nothing but a trouser, one such day. He was carrying logs on his shoulders from the front of the compound and his thinly haired bare body was on display for Elisabeth for the first time. She felt her insides moisten as she moved and the light satin of the robes that she wore brushed against her soft puffy breasts. The sight of his skin glistening against the sunlight and the protruding veins over the entire length of his arms made her go weak in her knees. She imagined herself rubbing her petite body against a hard, toned body like Thomas’s. She felt herself crave for the touch of his manhood. She had never held a manhood in her hands. Adelaide had already told her how a woman is supposed to hold it and play with it to tease a man. Her imagination was interrupted by the knock on the door from Martha.
Since that day she had made it a routine to get up early to see Thomas carry woods into the house. Every now and then he wouldn’t come. Those days were spent fantasizing about his body on hers. Today seemed like one of those days. Martha knocked on her door to let her know that the warm water was ready and Elisabeth asked her to come in and set up the bath for her. Martha came back with the pail of warm water in her hands and said “There seems to be a problem with the bath tub. It seems to be leaking water. I will get it fixed today and for now you can use the bath upstairs that is almost never used. I will get it ready for you and call on you then.”
