Graleex sighed in relief. “Thank the Mother World. But who are you? I do not recognize your voice.”

“I am Captain Arelez, Captain of the Pokacu ship Flight,” said the voice. “I am currently en route to our current invasion, but now that I have found you, I will set the ship’s course for the Mother World so you can deliver your information to her right away. She will be interested in hearing from a survivor who is as obviously loyal as you.”

“Thank you,” said Graleex. “Thank you so much. I will be on stand by awaiting your ship.”

“Roger that,” said Captain Arelez. “Arelez out.”

Graleex’s console turned off with a click and the red light stopped beeping. Graleex then sat down on the bench next to the console, feeling relieved and happy that he had managed to find a Pokacu ship that would take him home, back to his world that he had not seen in too many years.

And all thanks to the actions of a couple of naïve Earthlings, Graleex thought with a chuckle. Little do they realize just how doomed they—and their world—will soon be.
