“Yes.”
Sod it, words wouldn’t do. Actions would speak louder in this case. He pounced at her, and his lips met hers.
“You’re so sexy at the moment. You have my support. I’ll stand right by your side. Now open those pretty little legs for me because I need to be inside you, like five minutes ago.”
She chuckled. “You mean it?”
“Legs.”
She rolled her eyes and parted her legs. He inhaled the scent of her arousal.
“Hell yes, I mean it. Damn it. I can wait to be inside you. I need to taste you instead.” He was so happy that she was wearing a skirt It meant, in his urgency, he just needed to rip her tiny black panties from her body and place his head between her thighs. She was heaven. He took a lick from the front to the back of her slit. This was all the drug he needed. The pussy of his clumsy butterfly. He was addicted to it already, and he wouldn’t do anything to risk that.
“Oh God,” Teagan moaned on a long drawn out breath. He drove his tongue into her. Dogs or wolves, it didn’t matter, they all had long tongues from panting, in natural form, to get rid of the heat. And he knew that, at this very moment, he was working wonders with his. Teagan squirmed on the bed. “More, more,” she pleaded. He wasn’t the sort of man to deny his woman what she wanted. He brought his fingers to her clit and started to rub before giving it a little pinch.
“I’m going to come,” she called out. Giving him little warning before she exploded on his face. She bathed him in her orgasmic juices, and he licked up every last drop of it.
“I think I’m dead.” She collapsed on the bed, her arms and legs in a starfish position. “I can’t move. What the hell did you do to me?” He moved up her body and kissed her on the lips. She could taste herself on him.
“I just showed you a little of the true extent of my talents, babe.”
“Men.” She rolled her eyes but then sprang up to sitting. He had to dodge out of the way at the last minute. “I want to see more of your talent.”
“I can do that.” He got up and pulled down his jogging bottoms. He was already shirtless because he spent a lot of time like that around Teagan. He pumped his erection a few times. “On your back.”
“No, you don’t understand.”
He pumped himself again. “At the moment my talents involve relieving my hard-on in your sweet little cunt, so whatever ideas your having for other things can wait.”
“No.” She laughed. “Five thrusts a position. Let’s see how many you can get into before you blow?”
He looked at her with a raised eyebrow.
“Are you serious?”
She nodded enthusiastically.
“Challenge accepted, then. I hope your feeling flexible honey, because this is a wolf’s ultimate fantasy. I think we’ll start with that ass in the air.” Teagan scrambled to her knees and gave him the best view in the world. He slid into her in one long thrust. Her pussy hugged him tight, and he nearly shot his load. He growled out to center himself and then thrust, one, two, three, four, five. He pushed Teagan’s head and chest down on the bed and thrust five times more. Then, he pulled her back onto his lap so that she straddled him reverse cowboy style. She bounced on him five times, and then he swung her around so she could do the same facing him. God this was heaven. The bed creaked underneath them, and he let out a long howl. It would wake anyone sleeping in the Glacial Blood mansion. But at that precise moment he really didn’t care, not with Teagan’s tits bobbing right in front of his eyes. He flipped them both onto their side and altered the tilt of his hips. He was getting close and the fine sheen of sweat which had layered on his skin was now turning into a lust filled coating. He flipped Teagan onto her back, and she called out.
“I’m going to come again.”
Thank fuck for that, because he was ready to go as well.
“Come baby.” The bed shook underneath them, and the floorboards creaked when he slammed hard into her. He pulled all the way back and then thrust so hard that the bed smashed against the wall and the geeky pictures of computer memes, that he had above his bed, smashed to the floor.
“Oh God, I’m coming. I’m coming,” Teagan screamed out in ecstasy. Her pussy clenched down on his cock, and he felt the ripples of her orgasm all down his length. She strangled his dick.
“Fuck!” he howled, and buried himself so deeply inside her. He let out a howl again, and his cum spurted from his body in a powerful orgasm that had him seeing stars. The world was crashing around him; such was the ferocity of his climax. He felt the earth shaking and then the feeling of falling. My god this orgasm was the most intense he’d ever had. He could still feel his seed flooding from his body and bathing the inside of Teagan’s body. She was his heaven. His place of redemption. Teagan screamed. Was she still coming? It was then he realized that the scream wasn’t a pleasurable one: it was a terrified one. The feeling of falling wasn’t from a sexual high. It was from actually, fucking falling through his bedroom floor. They crashed to the ground of the room below, and he wrapped himself around Teagan to protect her from the debris coming from the ceiling above. They’d made love so hard that they’d gone through the floor.
“Are you ok?” He quickly checked her for injuries.
“Yes,” she breathlessly whimpered. “I think so. You?”
“I’m fine.” He was still inside her, his satisfied cock softening. They were naked on top of his bed with his ass in the air. It was at that moment that a deep rumbling growl filled the dust covered room.
“Shit.” Teagan looked behind him. Tyler didn’t need to turn his head. He recognized the growl because it was in that instant that he remembered whose office was below his bedroom.
“Hi Kas.” He didn’t move.
The deep growl turned into a very angry call of, “Tyler!”
CHAPTER TWELVE
Tyler had spent most of the last few days repairing the ceiling between his bedroom and Kas’ office and redecorating both rooms. After the polar bear had been pulled off him by Zain, Brayden, and Scott, Tyler had shielded Teagan’s modesty and apologized profusely. Kas had banned them from having sex, of any kind, until his office was back in the state that it had once been. He didn’t care if Tyler got blue balls and they fell off. The polar bear’s office came first. After that he was told that his room would now be the one that Scott had originally used, up in the attic. His bedroom would become a nursery for potential children, because it was closer for potential parents-to-be. There had been additional mumblings of probably needing a massive nursery with all the sex going on in this house, but he’d not commented on that. Thankful for a jar of honey, Zain had agreed to help him out.
“Has Teagan recovered from the embarrassment yet?” Zain asked while painting the wall of Kas’ office with a blue color named midnight mist.
“Not yet. Every time Kas enters the room she goes as red as a beetroot and disappears at the first available opportunity.” He was busy building the new desk to replace the one his bed had smashed through.
“I thought Kas was going to eat you,” Zain laughed.
“When I saw his fangs appear I was pretty certain that was my fate as well.”
“So how many positions did you manage?”
“I’ve no idea. I lost count after the second one. It wasn’t really on my mind to count.” He screwed a screw in then picked up the cover to disguise it and popped it in place.
“It’s got to be the funniest thing that has ever happened here. Just what we all needed.” Zain dropped the brush into the paint tray and examined the bit he’d just done to ensure that he’d covered everything. Of course he had. He was over six foot five tall. He didn’t even need a ladder.
“Glad I’ve made everyone here happier. Wasn’t really my aim at the time.” He rolled his eyes.
“I think we all know what your aim was. I think you achieved that as well.”
“Jealous,” Tyler teased.
“I get all the satisfaction I need from honey, thank you.”
Zain picked up a honey cookie that was resting in amongst all the painting materials. “Although, I am wondering who’s going to be next.”
“Next?” Tyler questioned and perched on the edge of the now complete desk to test it for sturdiness.
“To find a mate. Brayden, Emma, Scott, you. It’s all happening. I hope it’s Katia. She needs someone.”
“Might help if it’s Kas. He won’t be so stressed the next time one of us falls through the ceiling while fucking,” Tyler chuckled.
“No, it won’t be him. He won’t allow himself to fall in love until this business with Nuka is sorted. It’s a stubbornness only us bears possess.” Zain picked up the brush and with precision, that was alien in comparison to his size, edged a tiny section.
“As well as the scary ass growl when you’re stressed.”
“Only way to get others to listen sometimes. Don’t mess with a pissed off bear. The only rule you ever need in life.” Zain placed the brush down. “I’m going to leave this bit to dry before doing another coat. I’ll get some lunch. Do you want anything?”
“No, it’s ok. I’m just going to put Kas’ new chair together and then I’ll come and get something myself.” He tipped the box of parts onto the floor.
“Cool. See you later.” Zain stepped to the door.
“Thank you for the help.”
“Not a problem.”
Tyler was left alone in the room. He shut the door and turned the radio up a bit. He wasn’t a snob when it came to music. He listened to anything that he could sing along to. Despicito, the big hit of the summer came on and he let his bushy tail shoot from his body so that he could waggle it in rhythm to the Latino beat. He loved being able to do this as a shifter. Allow different parts of his body to change depending on what he was doing. He lost himself in the music as he built the chair. One summer hit turned to another and despite it being minus twenty outside today, he felt as though he were on a tropical island. All he needed was the beer and the sun bed.
“It isn’t fair.”
A feminine voice came over the radio. “You get to have fun, while I lay rotting in a graveyard. A silver bullet through my heart because idiots think being mauled by a wolf would mean I’d turn into one. You’re the one who deserves to rot.”
He dropped the screwdriver that he’d been holding. No, not again, he’d thought that after a few days the ghost had left him alone.
“Go away. You won’t win this time. I’ll not allow you to corrupt me. You’re not real,” he growled, his fangs falling into his mouth from their hiding place in his gums.
The freshly painted walls that Zain had just spent hours perfecting started to leak crimson blood. It cascaded down onto the dust sheets on the floor.
“You killed me.” The girl’s voice moaned in an agonizingly long groan. “My bones broke. My blood flowed. You tasted me. Did I taste good, Tyler? Did my blood feed your appetite for flesh? But then blood isn’t the drug you crave is it?” The scarlet that marred the walls turned green. Little packets of catnip started to fall from the ceiling. Not many, maybe ten, but they were enough to make his hands start to shake. He couldn’t. He couldn’t do it to Teagan.
“You aren’t real.”
The ghost let out a piercing scream which flooded through his entire body. He shook with the knowledge that she was dying all over again in that moment.
“No,” he called out.
“Become the monster you are, Tyler Quinn. I won’t ever leave your side again. It’s the only way to make me disappear.”
He picked up a handful of nails that he’d been using to nail the desk together and squeezed them into his hand. They dug into his flesh and gouged out a painful reminder of what was real in the room. His pain was, and the ghost wasn’t. He was stronger than this. He could do it for Teagan. The sounds of their love making filled the air now. Her whimpers as he thrust in and out of her. Her cries of passion as she came around him. Oh God, he needed her. The deathly piercing scream of murder shattered his sexual thoughts. He opened his eyes to see the ghost was now Teagan. She held a packet of drugs out to him. She had bite marks all over her neck. Her skin was pallid as though all the blood had run from her body. Her other arm was at a funny angle, and her eyes were glassed over.
“Take it. Keep taking it. This is what happens when you don’t.”
“I killed her on the drugs,” he responded.
“You admit it.” Ghostly Teagan’s upper lip twisted into a cruel smirk.
He realized what he’d said.
“No,” he shouted. The sound reverberated off the empty walls, a desk and a half built chair being the only furniture in the room.
“She’ll know what you are. She’ll look at you in disgust. These eyes I now possess are hers, and they look upon you with the knowledge of what you have done.”
“I didn’t kill you.” He slumped to the floor and tucked himself up. He couldn’t do this anymore. He’d fought for so long against the memories of that night. Of the fear that he’d taken a life in such a brutal fashion. It must’ve been him. There was no other explanation.
“Take it. Keep the disgust out of her eyes. Show her what you can truly be. You’re a devil in amongst saints. The abomination they fight to rid the world of.”
“No.” He covered his ears. But he couldn’t cover his nose against the scent that now filled the room. “Stop it, please,” he pleaded.
“You didn’t stop.” Ghostly Teagan had turned back to ghostly girl but she still held out the drugs. “It’s time to die, Tyler. Time to leave behind the person you pretend to be and become the person you truly are. This life is over.”
“Over.” The word ricocheted around his head.
He moved his shaking hand to the offered drugs. He snatched the packet and brought it to his mouth. By magic, the other packets appeared at his side. He poured the contents of the single packet into his mouth and swallowed.
“Over.”
CHAPTER THIRTEEN
Even at midnight the desert in Death Valley was still hot. Selene stood with Brayden at her back. He had his hand wrapped around her and resting on her stomach. They were waiting for Ethern to appear. He was late, but then, he was an important man so they couldn’t hold him to his timekeeping or lack of it in this instance. Brayden tapped his foot impatiently on the sandy ground. They were back in the caves where Ethern had first shown Selene where she was created. They were illuminated with candles that she’d magically placed around them. It felt like a lifetime ago since she was last here, but in reality it was merely months. The air crackled with light, and the elder multi-shifter appeared.
“Selene, Brayden. I’m so sorry. There was an incident with some of the wild shifters in the dungeons. I needed to ensure that they were all safe before I could come.”
“Honestly, not a problem. We were fine to wait,” she offered.
Brayden mumbled under his breath something about melting, and she knocked herself back into him to tell him off. Silly snow leopard had forgotten, they were so entwined in each other’s lives now, that she heard his thoughts.
“Maybe next time, if you know that you are going to be late, we could meet somewhere less warm. Like the polar ice caps,” he grumbled.
“I’m sorry, Brayden. Would this help?” Ethern magically produced an ice-lolly for her partner.
“A bit.” Brayden took it with a smile. “Thank you.”
“Is everything alright? Your message sounded as though you were really worried.” She’d sent Ethern a magical message a few nights ago asking if they could meet here as she needed to discuss an important matter with him. He’d replied instantly and scheduled this time.
“I am.” She bit her lip after she’d spoken.
“Selene, what is it?” Ethern took her hand and stroked it. It offered a little comfort, but the worry that twisted in her gut was far too great to be alleviated with a kind gesture.
“I’ve not had a period in over three months.” Ethern took in a sharp intake of breath at
her comment and let go of her hand. “At first we put it down to the fact I was stressed over everything that was happening. Brayden said that whenever he smelled me I didn’t smell pregnant. But over the last month I’ve noticed that I’m putting on a bit of weight. Nothing major. I could just be enjoying Tyler’s cooking, but we thought we should get it checked with you.” Brayden brought her in closer to him.
“She can’t be pregnant if I can’t smell it, can she? Is there something wrong with her? I’ve smelled her fertile once.” Her situation hadn’t just been worrying her but Brayden as well. He’d tried to be strong for her, but she could see the terrified look behind his eyes which meant something bad.
“You did the right thing calling. I’m afraid you’re unique Selene. We can’t be sure of anything when it comes to you.” He swallowed. “I need to examine you?”
Brayden pulled her behind him and snarled. “Examine.”
Ethern held his hands up to placate the snow-leopard, in Brayden, that was protecting his mate.
“Magically, not physically. I’ll need to touch her stomach and that’ll be all.”
“Alright, but if she says stop, you stop right away.”
“You have my word.”
Ethern turned around and waved his hand. A table appeared in the middle of the cave. He checked that it was sturdy and not likely to topple over on the uneven sandy ground.
“Sorry, it’s not a comfortable gynecological table. It’s the best I can do with the location,” he offered to her.
“It’ll be fine,” she reassured.
“If you’ll climb up and lift your t-shirt up for me. Brayden, can you stand the other side of the table please? Hold Selene’s hand.” They both moved and positioned themselves as requested. She pulled her t-shirt up and was sure that her once flat stomach now had a slight curve to it. If everything was normal why couldn’t Brayden smell that she carried his child? She’d asked Jane a few questions about what it was like carrying Brayden. It was done surreptitiously so as not to raise suspicion. She told Jane she was just thinking about the future. She wanted to check that, when she had a baby, she wouldn’t feel like she had an avalanche of snow leopards in her belly. If that was the case, it was never happening. Jane said that Heath knew she was pregnant before she even did. They woke up one morning, and he sat up in the bed and stared at her. He’d told her then and there she was pregnant and after a few weeks wait, to use a pregnancy test, it was confirmed she was indeed carrying Brayden. If Selene were pregnant, she would be over three months, and Brayden still couldn’t smell her. This is the part that worried her the most. What if something was wrong?
