ZACK
Where’m I going here?
ELI
The house. Drive to the house. Pal, stop kicking that cage or we’ll dump you right here and you’ll never see him again. Stop, okay, because we’re taking you to him.
ICE
You what?
nick
He’s seven months old. He can’t survive. Where is he?
The anger now seems to have left Nick. He’s resigned, weak, pleading.
ELI
Just keep the noise down, pal, and in ten minutes you’ll see him. We’ll take you right there. Just lay calm.
nick
Where is he? What are you planning to do with him? Please, he’s a baby. He’s not had his bottle. He’ll get hungry soon and start crying. What kind of people are you?
ICE
We’re bad guys to mess with, dickhead. So keep your mouth shut and you’ll get your kid back.
ELI
Ten minutes, pal. Just lay quiet for ten minutes and you’ll be glad you did.
Perhaps knowing he has no choice, Nick lays his head down.
