“Spread your legs,” he said sternly.
I loved the rough tone of his voice. With his hands on my ass, his tongue licked up my pussy. My one hand went back against the window and the other went to his hair. I moved my hips in rhythm with his mouth as he licked and sucked me. My juices were dripping down my leg, but he hurried to catch it. He held me up with his hands and buried his face between my legs. I cried out his name and grabbed hard on his hair. The vibration from his groan moved through me, and I cried out again. I let go of the glass and moved my fingers over my clit. He thrust his tongue into me and my hand sped up. With his fingers gripping my ass, I ground against his face. When he hit the perfect spot inside of me, my pussy tightened and released his tongue as I came. I rode out my orgasm and began sliding from his grip.
He got to his feet and spun me around to face the beautiful city.
“Bend over,” he demanded. “Hands on the glass.”
I stood on shaky legs and did as he said.
“Fuck!” he groaned, as he put his hand on my lower back and thrust into me.
I cried out as I bounced forward before catching myself. There was no holding back. Jay took me hard and fast. I used my hands to push back against him to meet each of his thrusts. I looked out the window at the city lights and enjoyed the feeling of Jay filling me. He reached up, grabbed my hair, and pulled back as he plunged into me deep. His name filled the air when I moved forward against the glass. His other hand held tight to my hip to keep me from going forward. He pumped into me again just as I pushed back against him.
“You look so damn hot,” he said. “I could be buried deep inside of you all day and never have enough of you, baby. I'm going to fuck you, suck you, and lick every inch of you every single day. You're mine, Tabby. Do you hear me?”
I nodded but he held tight to my hair.
“Say it,” he demanded.
“Yours,” I cried out.
“You belong with me,” he said. “No man will ever touch this perfect body again. I'm the only one that will ever fuck you.”
“Yes,” I cried out.
He grabbed both of my hips hard with his hands and thrust into me so hard I came without warning. Jay followed right behind. He growled out my name which only made me come harder. We stood together as we caught our breath. His heart beat hard against my back. I was exhausted.
He pulled out and I whimpered at the empty feeling left behind. I was surprised when he scooped me up into his arms and headed for the stairs. My arms went around his neck and my head leaned against his shoulder. I couldn't have imagined anywhere else I'd ever want to be than in his arms.
Jay pulled the covers back and gently placed me on his bed. He crawled in behind me, covered us up, and pulled me closer to him. I turned in his arms and curled my body around his. My fingers went to his chest. I closed my eyes and tried to memorize every inch as I traced it.
“I've never had a woman in my home before,” he said softly.
“What?” I asked, as I lifted my head and rested my chin on his chest.
“I wanted to tell you that I've never brought a woman here,” he said.
“Not ever,” I said. “Come on, Jay. I've seen all of the pictures of different women.”
“You have,” he said. “Some of them were just dates for events and nothing more. There were some I spent an evening with, but I promise you not a single one of them has ever been here. You're the first and only woman in my home.”
“Do you have a lot of meetings and dinners here?” I asked.
He laughed and looked down at me.
“No,” he said. “You're the only one. I had no intention of talking about work that night. It was the only way to get you here.”
“You've never had a woman in this bed?” I asked.
“Only you,” he said. “I told you, I built this life for us. I meant that. I knew you'd love the balcony and the windows looking out at the city.”
“What if I had been with someone else?” I asked. “What would you have done?”
“It wouldn't have happened,” he said. “You're mine, and you always have been. Just because you didn't know I was there doesn't mean I wasn't.”
Jay leaned over and opened a drawer on the stand next to his bed. He handed me a picture. I looked at it and then back at him.
“How did you get a picture of me at my college graduation?” I asked.
“I already told you,” he said. “Just because you didn't know I was there, doesn't mean that I wasn't. I was always there. If I had known your mom wasn't paying for school, I would have been right there with you. I'm so sorry you had to go through those four years alone. She promised she'd take care of you. I am so sorry, baby.”
“Why don't you have anything personal around here?” I asked.
“I never had a reason to put up pictures of family or anything. I haven't talked to them since I left that day. If I wasn't able to be with you, I didn't want them. I never understood how our parents could do that to either of us. I want us to make our own memories together. Those are the pictures I want to put up.”
“What about your dad?” I asked.
“What about him?” he returned. “He let her do that. I don't need him. He calls my office at least once a month. I've never returned his calls.”
“He didn't know, Jay,” I said. “When I got into that huge fight with my mom, he had no idea anything had happened between us. I was surprised when he tried to talk to me about things. She wasn't home one day, and he sat me down to talk about it. He asked me about my feelings for you and what had happened between us. He genuinely seemed to care. It surprised me. I honestly didn't think he was a fan of me. Maybe you should give him a chance. Maybe he's just as confused on why you left. He seemed very upset. I can't believe I didn't realize she already knew about us. What a horrible person. She's never even tried to talk to me.”
“I need you to be ready, Tabby,” he said, as he rubbed my back.
“For what?” I asked.
“There were pictures taken of you against my car. I guarantee those are the sexiest pictures that have ever been taken of me before. I'm normally all business. You bring out the other side of me. They are going to show up and soon. Your mom might see them. I'm sorry for only thinking of my feelings about them. I didn't stop to think about how you would feel when people saw a picture of you like that.”
“You really aren't worried about what people are going to say about you with me like that?” I asked.
“Not at all,” he said. “I can't think of anyone else I'd want to be caught like that with than you.”
He laughed, and I gave him a dirty look.
“I feel sorry for your dad when she sees those pictures,” I said. “Maybe you should warn him.”
“Nope,” he said. “I wouldn't mind getting a picture of the looks on their faces though.”
“Be serious,” I said. “Do you know what people are going to say? They're going to wonder how I.”
“They're going to wonder how I got a woman as beautiful, perfect, and sexy as you. That's what they're going to say. I'm going to tell them to get used to seeing pictures of me with the woman I love. They're going to be seeing a lot of us.”
I sat up and looked down at him.
“What did you say?” I asked.
“They're going to be seeing a lot of us,” he said.
“Right before that,” I said.
“I'm going to tell them to get used to seeing pictures of me with the woman I love,” he said.
He said it as if it were so natural. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I'd been in love with Jay since I was a teenager. He'd been the only boy or man I ever felt that way about. I couldn't believe what he was saying. If felt like a dream.
“Jay,” I said.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me closer.
“I love you, Tabby,” he said. “I told you that you're mine. You belong with me. I meant that.”
Tears ran down my cheeks and fell onto his chest. I couldn't
stop them. He'd just said the words I'd always wanted to tell him. It felt so amazing, and I couldn't stop my emotions any longer. I'd been tough and given him a hard time since I'd seen him again. That part of me crumbled away instantly when he spoke those words to me.
“Don't cry,” he said. “I've loved you since I was in high school. Why do you think I stayed in my room all the time when I was over? I wasn't that big of a nerd. I did it to stay away from you. You have no idea how happy I was to see you show up at dinner for the holiday. That time that followed was the best time of my life. I mean it. That was better than anything that happened to me before that day or after I left. I feel horrible for what has happened the last four years. I will spend every single day making up for not being there for you.”
“It wasn't your job to be there for me,” I said.
“It was,” he said. “You were mine then, and I didn't have the balls to stand up for that. I will regret that forever.”
“No,” I said. “Don't think that way, Jay. You did it for me. You thought she was going to make me go through horrible things. You did it so I wouldn't have to. We were young. Shit! We still are. Don't live in the past. I don't want you to do things for me because you feel bad about the past. That's not what I want. I love you, Jay. I love you with every single bit of my heart. There's never been anyone but you. You were my first crush, and I've loved you ever since. I am yours, babe. I always will be.”
He wiped the tears from my face.
“You need to promise me something,” I said.
“What?” he asked.
“You tore my heart out once,” I began. “I need to know you won't run from me again. I don't care what anyone says or does. If you don't want to be with me, I need you to tell me. It would crush me. I already know that. I just can't deal with not knowing why again. I'd rather know if it was me or if you wanted someone else. I just need to know the truth.”
“Oh, Tabby,” he said, as he pulled me forward and kissed my forehead. “I promise to never run from you again. I will never want anyone else. I want you. I want everything with you. I want marriage, babies, and rocking with you in old age. I want to take you places you've always wanted to go and do things you've always wanted to do. I want you forever. I love you.”
“I love you too,” I said.
I snuggled in next to him with my head on his chest. Just as my eyes were closing, I heard him speak.
“Tabby.”
“Yes,” I said.
“Promise you'll be here when I wake up,” he said. “I need you know you're not going to run either.”
“I'll be here, Jay,” I said. “You own my heart.”
Epilogue
I was right where I promised I'd be the following morning.
Jay told me he had a surprise for me. He took me down the elevator to a small parking garage. I hadn't seen it the night before. We'd left his amazing car out front with his driver. When we walked around the corner, I saw his car. It truly was beautiful. He grabbed my hand and walked around it. When I saw what was next to it, I stopped moving and looked over at him.
“No way,” I said.
“Yes,” he replied. “It's the same car I had when I was home. This is the car you drove. I couldn't get rid of it. It was always yours.”
“What do you mean It was always mine?” I asked.
“I got this car because of you. You always wanted a black Corvette. I knew that. You're the reason I got it when I was away. It made me think of you. I know it's corny, and I don't want to hear it.”
“That is so sweet,” I said, as I wrapped my arms around his neck. “I can't believe you kept it.”
“So,” he said. “You have a choice. Which one do you want?”
I looked at him and laughed.
“Very funny, Jay,” I said.
“I don't need two black Corvettes, Tabby. When TJ walked over and said that to me at the bar, I knew I had to get one to pick you up in. I had it delivered an hour before I showed up at your house. You won't have to drive it down here. They will bring it up for you, and you'll leave it with them when you come home. I brought you down here so I could see the look on your face when you saw them. If you don't want to drive, the driver can take you wherever you want to go. He can even take you to work.”
“Hold on, Jay,” I said. “I've agreed to stay and get my job back, but I'm not moving in here today. That was our first date you know. It's not going to be easy to be away from you, but I want to date you and get to know the man you are now. I'm not going to leave, but I'm not moving in.”
“You're not living with Tom,” he said in a demanding tone.
I loved that tone in the bedroom, but not so much when he was telling me what to do in life.
“I am,” I said. “I've been responsible for myself for a long time. You have to chill the fuck out a bit. I'm yours. I expect that you are mine as well. I love you so much, but I don't want to rush right in.”
I ended up taking the old Corvette to use. It was my way of compromising with Mr. Bossy Pants. He didn't want me driving an unsafe car, and he backed off a bit on the whole Tom situation. That was my favorite car and reminded me of the short time we did have together. I was actually super excited to drive it.
I went back to work but never worked on anything that had to do with Jay. When he came in for meetings, he'd come by my office and talk. There were a few times we went out to lunch together. He didn't give Tom as hard of a time as I thought he would. He was still hard on him at work but was nice when he came by to see me or pick me up. They were actually getting along. We even watched movies together on the weekends.
It didn't take long before Jay got his way and I moved in. It was only a month actually. I was staying at his place almost every night and couldn't stand sleeping without being in his arms. Each night apart was time I didn't want to give up with him.
His dad called, and he finally returned the call. Apparently my mother had seen the picture of the two of us and totally flipped her lid. When she was going off about it all, she admitted to her husband exactly what she had done. Jay's dad apologized for everything and repeated over and over that he had no idea what had happened. I was happy that his dad was finally able to talk to him again. He even came to visit right after I moved in. I couldn't believe how much nicer he had been to me than before.
I finally put out a picture of Jay on my desk at work. It was one of him in a suit looking super sexy. The picture of us up against the car was there as well, but not for anyone else to see. It was hidden, and I looked at it whenever I wanted to think about how amazing my life really was. Silly I know, but that picture made me smile every single time I saw it. I could just imagine what my mom must have looked like when she saw it.
I noticed Jay was working less and less over those next few months. We'd spend weekends traveling and seeing so many new things. I started adding pictures of our adventures to walls and surfaces around our place. It really was beginning to feel like a home.
I was out on the balcony reading when he came out to join me late one night. He had the most serious look on his face when he dropped down on his knee in front of me and asked me to marry him. It was completely unexpected and normal. I was so happy that he hadn't planned some crazy event or proposed at some swanky restaurant. We were at home alone, and I couldn't have been happier. It helped that he'd had the chef make the exact same meal that he had the night I was there for work. Jay laughed when I offered to eat his steak again. He motioned for me to take it just like he had before. I looked across the table at him and watched his mouth drop at my words that followed.
“I am eating for two now,” I said with a smile.
His fork fell to his plate, as his ass flew out of his seat. I had just found out earlier in the day and planned to tell him as soon as he got home. I guess we both had big plans for the night. He scooped me into his arms and carried to me to our room to show me just how much he loved me.
When I had moved to California, all I expected to
find was a job and an apartment. What I ended up finding was so much more. I'd found the man of my dreams and the perfect life.
The End.
