"She's forgiven Amber."
"That is different, they are twin sisters. They can't stay mad at each other for long."
"Come on, were being called to the stage," Amber dragged me to Beverly."
"Ladies and Gentlemen," Beverly announced. "Tonight we are here to both pay tribute to Captain Nathaniel Roberts and to christen his new ship. Since leaving the Alliance and taking up residency in our free society Captain Roberts has sought the proper dress uniform to wear. As seen here in this footage, he has started experimenting with both fashion and color, in the Anaxous System." The monitor came to life with a video clip of me being led back to the Revenge by Tanya, wearing her pink jumpsuit. The crowd roared with laughter then applauded, wanting more. "Next we have the good captain shedding his clothes, and still undecided about what to wear, leading a parade of his fans and signing autographs." The video changed to me being escorted, after my abduction and robbery, wearing nothing more than a pair of bikini briefs, bunny ears and a tail. The crowd laughed, whistled, and applauded again shouting for more. I stood bravely, while Beverly peeled back layer upon layer of my hide salting the open wounds. "Once again our hero has made an evolutionary step in fashion." This time the video was of me walking aimlessly across white section, wearing Natty's yellow dress, while she followed me wearing nothing but her panties, blowing kisses to the crowd. I should be more like her, unconcerned about what people thought of her. But, I couldn't. "Finally the uniform has evolved once again." Beverly held out a short, slinky, pink party dress with captain bars over the left breast. The crowd started chanting put it on, put it on, as the words flashed on the monitor.
Amber came to my rescue. She pulled off the dress, she was wearing, abandoning it. She took the pink dress from her shocked sister and put it on, then started blowing kisses to the crowd. The crowd loved it. They applauded, and Beverly left the stage defeated.
Chief Mike took the stage. The image of the new ship came on the monitor with a suited mechanic holding a magnum of champagne. "Its not often that I get to christen a new ship. This is a special ship, designed for my friend, and hero of the Border Worlds, Captain Nathaniel Roberts. The crowd cheered and applauded. I was able to reuse his old hull number. Again the crowd cheered. I christen this ship XP-0555, the Persephone." At his signal the suited figure smashed the bottle of champagne against the hull.
Red, Jewel and Mike led us aboard the Persephone for the first time. Everything was clean and shiny, as far as I could see. Red escorted Tanya and Natty to our cabin. We would catch up later, after the tour.
The first stop was engineering. The engines hummed while on standby, waiting to be brought to life. The reactor looked bigger, than what I expected for a ship of this size. Jane and Kim waved as they made minor adjustments at their consoles, fine tuning the ships systems. The hyperdrive was different. It was much smaller than I expected. Mike explained it was a gift from my Iniguar friends. My ship and Red's battleship were the only two ships to have the new hyperdrive. While the drive itself wasn't much different than ours, the way it processed data was. We were now able to make a thirty light year jump, jumping two or more systems within its range. This new hyperdrive will make travel much faster, not having to slow down, recalculate, and jump between star systems.
He took us to the shuttle bay. Two transport shuttles, two assault shuttles, and a captains yacht waited for use.
"You didn't think I was going to give you an empty shuttle bay, did you?" Mike laughed.
He showed us the port nacelle next. It was empty for now. It could be used for either cargo shuttles, fighters, and even small scout ships. Each nacelle had both a launch tube, and a separate landing strip. The starboard nacelle was identical.
The crewmen had small cabins, like the Revenge. Its galley was much smaller, but it had a full size recreation room, and four holographic simulation rooms with a large library of files to choose from.
The bridge was well thought out and organized. The seating was comfortable. There was now a couch behind the command chair for visitors, or lounging. There was a also cabin attached to the bridge, that could be used for resting, an office, or as a meeting room.
The officers galley was small, designed for a lot fewer people than my old galley was. I now had a proper conference room, two holographic simulators, and a recreation room. The best surprise was yet to come with the staterooms.
The officer quarters were spacious, much lager than the size of the rooms aboard the Revenge. They were all furnished with Iniguar furnishings, which I preferred. My stateroom, was as large as it had been on the Revenge. The bed was big enough, for the four of us. There was plenty of spacious seating and it was decorated with artwork that I could appreciate. Instead of having a bathtub to relax in, I now had a hot tub sunk into the floor. The shower was large and spacious made of the same black stone as my previous shower. The vanity had seating for four, it was spacious and well lit. The girls would love it. The galley was about the same size as my old one. The attached pantry was fully stocked.
Red, Tanya, and Natty were patiently waiting for me to complete my inspection.
"What do you think about the Persephone?" Mike asked.
"Its to much to absorb. For once I am without words. I can't believe its real, and mine. I don't know where, or how, to begin thanking you."
"I have one more treat for the girls. The three staterooms across from yours are reserved for them, for when they need a little alone time. The stateroom directly across from yours has just been redecorated for Tanya and Natty. The choice of decorations, and furnishings, make sense now."
The chief opened Tanya's suite revealing what looked like a child's nursery. There was a crib, large enough for Natty, a bed for Tanya, and plenty of comfortable seating.
"This is perfect," Tanya said. "Help me get Natty up and into bed."
"You do know, that if you allow her to sleep all day, she will keep you up all night."
"She's tired, and needs her sleep. It will be okay."
We got her up and onto the cribs mattress without her so much as blinking. Tanya removed Natty's panties and put an adult sized diaper on her, just in case she had an accident.
"Tanya, I have some essentials being delivered for Natty, they will be here shortly," Natasha announced over the rooms comm unit.
"That's weird hearing you speak, while you are asleep in the crib."
"I am not asleep, she is."
"Aren't you the same?"
"Yes, and no. We share the same body, she is my avatar, but there have been several changes in her. She is also developing her own personality. I can not control her much longer. Natty shouldn't have called me a baby while acting like one herself. Now she is learning what it is like to be a baby."
"How long is she going to be like this?"
"It depends how long it takes for her to grow up a little and apologize. She is stubborn, so it will be awhile. Right now she is enjoying being a two year old baby. I don't foresee her changing, any time soon."
"Thank you for giving me a baby sister. I've always wanted one."
"You are welcome Tanya."
Jewel excused herself wanting to leave, tears barely held back.
"Jewel whats wrong? Why do you want to leave so early, it is time to celebrate, and that includes you?" I asked.
"I have to pack up my belongings, and find a new place to live. Beverly just fired me, and wants me off her ship today."
"Why did she fire you?"
"For being kind to you, and your wives, and for having all of you as my friends."
"She can't do that. I'll talk to my sister."
"Thank you Amber, but I'll be okay. I just enjoyed working aboard the Lucy, especially when y
ou were the captain."
"Jewel, you can move into Natty's cabin, she prefers to stay with Tanya anyhow. For the time being, I need a communications officer to fill in for Tanya. I'll have some crewmen move your belongings here."
"That will infuriate Beverly."
"All the better."
"Cappy, I already have crewmen moving Jewels possessions here. I anticipated, that she would be joining us," Natasha said.
"Then its settled Jewel. Welcome to our crew."
"Mike and Red, I'll see you a little later at the celebration. I have a little private celebrating to do. Jewel, please join us."
After Mike and Red left us, I had a desire that needed filling. I missed relaxing in the hot water of my bathtub. Now I was eager to give my new hot tub a try. I got a chilled bottle of wine from the galley and three wine glasses, bringing them to the edge of the hot tub. Amber was undressing and Jewel was already in the hot tub relaxing with the jets on. I quickly undressed and Amber and I joined Jewel in the hot tub, sitting along side of her.
I poured some wine for Jewel to help her relax. Her being fired and thrown off the Lucy was taking its toll on her. Amber talked to her in quiet tones trying to sooth her damaged ego. I gently massaged her shoulders. At first she tensed up, then she gradually relaxed letting the hot water and us soothe her.
"Why are you being so nice to me?"
"You are very kind, and we are all your friends."
Before she could say anything further, Amber kissed her silencing her. Jewel drank a little more wine and settled down relaxing, in the hot water. The heat from the water helped ease the stiffness in my muscles and joints. I started relaxing. Until now, I was unaware of just how tense I had become.
"Nathaniel, can I spend the night with you and Amber? I don't want to be alone. I want to be with my friends."
"You are welcome to be with us anytime you wish."
"Thank you."
Jewel relaxed further nestled between Amber and me. Her eyes closed as she was lulled to sleep by the hot water and the feeling of security amongst friends. Amber got out of the hot tub and toweled herself off. I woke Jewel and helped her out of the tub and we toweled ourselves off also.
"I'm sorry I fell asleep. I was up most of last night, and the stress of being fired has exhausted me. I feel so tired."
"Nathaniel and I normally take an afternoon nap. Our bed is spacious, and you are welcome to join us."
"Do you have some bed clothes I can wear?"
"You can wear one of Amber's nighties," I joked.
"Nathaniel, you know I don't wear nighties. Jewel, we'll find you something to wear."
Amber opened my wardrobe and selected one of my shirts for Jewel to use as a nightshirt. We retired to the bed for a nap. The comforter kept us warm, as the heat from being in the hot tub began to fade. I snuggled up against Amber, but couldn't get comfortable. I missed Tanya and Natty along side of me, and Natty more often than not draped over me. I missed the comfort of her covering me, and warming me, while I slept.
"Jewel, would you mind snuggling up with me, and maybe draping an arm and leg over me?"
Without answering, she snuggled up, her body pressing against me. She positioned one of her legs over mine and she held me in her arms. Her breath warmed my neck. I felt content sandwiched between Jewel and Amber, warmed by their bodies, and secure with Jewel holding me. I fell asleep, feeling at ease.
Chapter 4
I woke alone in bed. I slept longer than I planned, with the comfort the girls provided, and the relaxing feeling of sleeping in my own bed. Amber and Jewel were quietly talking on our couch. Jewel was still dressed in my shirt, using it as a nightie. Amber was wrapped in a fluffy robe.
I put on a robe myself and went to Tanya's suite to check on her and Natty. Tanya, was leaning over and checking on Natty.
"Natty, bad girl. You went boom boom in your diaper."
"Are you my mommy?"
"I'm your big sister and I suppose I am your mommy now. Lets get you cleaned up and changed." I had my suspicions as to what boom boom was and I didn't want any part of it. I quietly exited and went back to my cabin.
"Nathaniel, how are Tanya and Natty doing? Whats wrong, you look as white as a ghost?"
I collapsed on the couch with Amber and Jewel. "Tanya looks happy. Apparently, Natty made a boom boom in her diaper. I have my suspicion as to what that is, and had to leave. I'm sure, Tanya is thoroughly enjoying herself, caring for her baby sister."
Tanya came in with Natty. Her dress, and fortunately for me her diaper had been changed. She was wearing what looked like the top of a baby doll outfit. The combination of baby doll and diaper just didn't look right, on a grown lady.
"We just came over to say hello. I need to feed Natty and give her a bath before bedtime."
"Is that my daddy?"
"I suppose he is."
Natty waddled over and gave me a kiss on the cheek, leaving plenty of baby drool.
"That was cute," Amber hugged and kissed Natty, who shyly turned away.
"Come on Natty, lets get you fed."
Tanya took Natty by the hand, leading her back to the nursery.
"Natasha."
"Yes dear."
"Is there anyway I can convince you to change Natty back?"
"I'm sorry, but she went to far while you were enjoying your breakfast this morning. I told her to quit acting like a baby. She told me I was the baby and dumped over 100 gigabytes of data, explaining how I was being like a baby. She needs to learn exactly what it is like to be a baby. She has been regressed to a two year old child for less than a day, and as far as I can tell she is enjoying every minute of it."
"What if I asked her to apologize?"
"I would prefer that the apology is sincere and comes from herself."
"Would you please send a general recall, to the crew? We will be departing in two days."
"Yes Cappy. I'll perform system diagnostics, and preflight checks. Do you have a destination?"
"Nueva Zelanda, for now."
"I'll program the navigation computer with the course, and warm up the engines so they will be ready whenever you are."
"Thank you Natasha."
"Amber, do you want to eat in the officers galley, or here?"
"I would love to eat Doc's cooking. I haven't had any of his home cooked meals for quite some time. But, I don't feel like dressing this evening."
"I am the captain and you are the captain's wife, so lets declare the dress code as anything or nothing, as you prefer."
"I approve of the new dress, or undress code."
"Jewel, you are in for a treat tonight."
"Don't I need to dress for dinner?"
"No, its come as you are. All Amber and I are wearing are these robes."
We went to the officers galley. As I suspected, Doc had prepared a meal worthy of royalty. Doc, Jane, Randolph, and Kim were already enjoying their meals. We joined them, seating ourselves at the table. Doc had prepared a meal of some type of roast meat, baked potatoes, broccoli with a creamy cheese sauce, and fresh brotchen rolls.
"Nathaniel, dressing down a little, aren't you?" Doc asked, scrutinizing the three of us."
"I didn't see the need to dress, as we would only have to undress again shortly, so I changed the dress code to come as you are dressed or not."
"That could lead to some very interesting situations. I've tried it before. Are you going to introduce us to this nice looking young lady, or do you not know her name?"
"Doc it may come as a surprise to you, but sh
e actually has a name, as well as a hot body." I pointed to each officer as I gave an introduction. "Doc, Jane, Randolph, and Kim, this is Jewel. Jewel these are my officers, friends, and for all practical purposes, my family. Jewel will be joining us, filling in for Tanya as our new communications officer. Randolph you don't have to worry about me staring and fantasizing about Kim any longer. I will be turning my lustful thoughts to Jewel now."
Kim turned a deep red, still not quite use to my lewd comments. She was maintaining her makeover, even experimenting with different makeup and nail polish. Randolph had scored big, landing her as his girlfriend and roommate. They fell in love almost instantly, when they first met. Kim was transformed from geeky to hot babe by my wives, at my request.
"Where are Tanya and Natty?" Doc asked, not used to seeing me without them.
"They are in the cabin across from mine. You and Kim may want to visit them after dinner."
"Are they ill or in need of my services?"
"Doc, I don't think there is anything you can do to help."
"I'll get my medical bag."
"You will be better off bringing a strong bottle of booze."
"Did they leave you over Jewel? Is Tanya wearing your balls as earrings now?" Randolph inquired, looking under the table to see if my manhood was still attached.
"Randolph, you are right about her wanting to take my balls, when she first found out about Jewel. Tanya doesn't mind my being with Jewel now. She is even happy and taking a break from us, to care for Natty."
"You were with her before?"
"Yes, awhile back. We had fantastic sex the first time we met. We didn't even know each others names."
"You were always the ladies man. Did you wear Tanya out with to much sex?"
"I'm not sure to much sex is even possible."
"Why aren't you, Tanya, and Natty, together then?"
"Lets just say, they need a little alone time. I'm sure they would appreciate a visit from you, and Jane."
Doc, Jane, Randolph and Kim excused themselves leaving to check on Tanya and Natty. The three of us continued eating our meals, enjoying the home cooked dinner.
