Sin & Savage Page 33

Tori reached up on her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around his neck. “Let’s go to bed, Savage Monroe.” She nuzzled his neck with a trail of featherlight, slow kisses.

Savage closed his eyes for a brief second trying to stifle the driving urge to be inside her. His hands slid around her body, coming to rest on her bare behind, his fingers gripping her soft skin there and squeezing. Her nightie was pushed higher by his movements, exposing her naked flesh to his eyes. Sweat broke out on his skin; he could barely remember his name. He wanted her so badly that he was aching for her, but he wasn’t going to take her like some feral animal—no, he would follow her lead and do whatever she wanted, however she wanted.

Suddenly, her moist tongue licked at the pounding pulse in his throat, and he nearly lost it! He groaned. His trembling hands brushed her thin chemise even higher and skimmed over the rounded contours of her stomach before reaching for her swollen breasts.

Her lush breasts were warm and pliant beneath his raw touch, and as he cupped each one, his hot mouth captured her pink lips, his tongue rimming them before plundering inside. Her own mouth opened more, allowing him to go deeper, and when he did, her small hands slid from his neck, down over his chest, to the hardness hidden in his pants. Her restless palm stroked and caressed his erection. She rubbed faster and stronger, and a new sense of urgency tore through him.

He yanked his lips off of hers then and stared down at her, noticing how her beautiful eyes sparkled with a bold, seductive glint. Her cheeks were flushed and rosy; her smile was sexy and wicked. The pretty picture she painted was more than he could stand and Savage’s heart melted even more. This was his wife, the woman he loved. She was different than the others he’d had. Her scent was different, her taste was different, even her body felt more alive—warmer and softer than he’d ever touched before in his life. His insatiable need to bury himself deep inside her right now was making him dizzy as all hell.

“No fair, Snow White,” he moaned. “If you don’t slow down, I’m liable to start acting like the sex-starved asshole I really am but desperately pretending not to be.”

“For your information, mister, I happen to like sex-starved assholes,” she teased, as she grabbed his hand and tugged him in the direction of the larger bedroom.

As they stepped across the threshold, Savage had barely enough time to notice that the bed had been turned down, exposing fresh white cotton sheets. The night lamps on either side cast a soft glow into the room. Vases of white roses had been placed on the dresser and nightstands, their delicate perfume lightly scenting the space. His fevered brain registered the total scene in a split second before refocusing on the hot, sexy woman standing before him.

Slowly, she unbuttoned his shirt, her eyes never leaving his. “I love you, Matthew, like I’ve never loved anyone before.”

“I love you too, Tori—so much—and the promises I made to you today, I will keep. I’m a man of my word, and you will be safe in my arms for always.”

A small smile lit up her face. “I know.”

As she let his shirt drop to the floor, his bruises became visible. In fact, his body was covered with the black and blue contusions and for a split second, Tori was taken back to that damp tunnel and the horror they’d faced together there. But today was for new beginnings and the past wiped clean.

Her hands moved to the zipper in his pants and undoing it, she tugged the garment down slowly. Within seconds, he stood naked in front of her, fully aroused. But his hands remained at his sides, allowing her to do what she wanted.

She grabbed the hem of her chemise, pulled it up and over her head in one fell swoop, letting it puddle onto the floor too. His breathing picked up. His hungry eyes raked over her finally naked body, his power enveloping her like a blanket, even though they stood a foot apart.

One second they were staring at each other and in the next they had come together with a slam. Savage’s frantic lips found hers, just as his arms came around her, pulling her soft body into him. The dam within him had broken and there was no stopping him now.

His hot tongue dipped into her mouth. His desperate hands found her breasts again, cupping their weight and squeezing. His fingers moved further down, dipping and rubbing between her legs and he heard her gasp with the pleasure he was giving her. He felt her own hand slink down to his erection and she squeezed him, stroking him harder and faster.

“Shit, Tori.” He tore his lips off of hers, and tugged her onto the bed.

The pure scent of the roses wafted into his nostrils as the coolness of the white sheets hit his overheated skin but none of that registered because all he could feel and smell was her. He was on fire, his loins burning up with hunger for his wife.

He groaned with pleasure as she shifted into position beneath him, spreading her legs for him. Her nails scraped his arms over his tattoos before coming around to his back, pushing him into her even more. She arched her back and in one fluid motion, Savage lifted her hips and entered her, sliding deep inside. She was wet and tight, and as her muscles tensed around his hardness, he sighed. He was home, being loved unconditionally in her arms.

Tori squeezed her eyes shut, as he thrust in and out of her, her tight body screaming for release and her hips matching every move he made. Her lids fluttered open again and she watched him as he watched her.

She bit her bottom lip with sweet agony. His fingers dipped between her legs and stroked her there, as he thrust over and over again, taking her higher and higher. Her trembling hands splayed against his ass, squeezing and pushing him into her, her legs wrapping around his waist. It had never been like this for her. The connection to him was all consuming.

“God, Tori,” he mumbled, but she was too far gone to process anything except that she was reaching her own crescendo. Her core muscles tightened around him even more, before exploding into waves of intense pleasure. She clung to him, their hips rocking as one, as she milked every last drop from him. Dampness slicked both of their bodies, and as his tense body shuddered, he dropped his head between her breasts.

Savage’s heartbeat seemed to take forever to return to normal. He fingered the strands of her hair that had fallen over her cheeks and cradled her body close to his. He’d never felt such a connection to another human being. The closeness they’d shared had taken him to another dimension. He was overcome with emotions.

“I’m so in love with you, Tori,” he said, as he planted a soft kiss in her hair and pulled the cotton sheet over their cooling bodies.

Tori sighed with contentment. “I love you too, my Vegas angel,” she smiled.

  Chapter 70

  Monday – 1:46 p.m.

  Las Vegas Airport

Nana and Joe sat across from Savage and Tori in the departure lounge.

The older woman turned to her fiancé and smiled. “It’s so beautiful, isn’t it, Joe? Look how much they love each other.”

Matt and Tori had their arms around each other, kissing and putting on a public display of affection that had caught the eye of many a traveler in the busy airport.

Joe nodded. “Your tingle is never wrong, Estelle.”

“I know.” She reached into her purse for a tissue to dab at her wet eyes. “What can I say? I’m amazing.”

Joe leaned over and gave her a quick peck on her cheek. “I’m glad you’ll be staying in Vegas with me until we get married, sweetie.”

She nodded. “Tori will be coming back for a weekend visit in a couple of weeks’ time anyway, and then before you know it, she’ll be moving here with her new husband permanently. To think that my beautiful grandbaby and I will be living here together, in a town full of slot machines—well, the joy that all gives me—it’s almost too much for an old woman like me to bear!”

  * * *

Tori pulled away from Savage and giggled. They were sitting side-by-side on the airport lounge seats and her husband had his arm around her.

“We’re putting on quite a show for the public, Mr. Monroe,” she chirped.
<
br />   Savage frowned. “I’m going to be wifeless for two weeks, so in the words of your smart grandmother, fuck ’em all!”

Tori laughed. “It’s too bad you can’t come back to Gideon with me until July.”

“I know, baby, but we have to start building that case against the rest of those asshole bikers who didn’t get their heads blown off. I can’t let Hank and the guys down. I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay, sweetie. We’ll be together soon enough.”

“Yeah, but I’m gonna miss you like crazy until then.” He leaned in to taste her soft lips once again.

Nana and Joe continued to look on, proud grins splashed across both of their faces.

  Epilogue

  Tuesday – 8:30 a.m.

  Bradford Elementary School, Gideon, Texas

Tori sat at her desk inside the empty classroom, waiting for her kids to arrive. She had just gotten off the phone with her husband, wanting to make sure that he was all right, especially as he was still recuperating from his injuries. He was, but he missed her like mad, he’d told her.

A secret smile played across her lips as she fingered the gold wedding band on her left hand.

Her friend and fellow schoolteacher, Cassie Platte entered. “Hey there you, I tried calling you this weekend but you didn’t pick up. Were you enjoying that boring bathtub of yours, Bonnie Bell?” she prattled, referring to Gideon’s pious nun.

Tori grinned. “Something like that, I guess.”

“Well, the girls and I ended up going to Splay’s after all. We met these really cute guys. The place was incredible and so much fun! I’m telling you, Tori, next weekend, we’ve decided that we’re dragging you there, kicking and screaming if we have to, but you’re coming with us. You’ve just got to get some excitement in your life again, girl!”

  “You think?”

Cassie nodded. “Sure, your life is way too boring. How was that stupid bathtub anyway?”

Tori’s eyes glinted with mischief as she held up her left hand, showing off her new wedding ring. “Actually Cassie, I didn’t end up soaking in that old tub after all. I went to Las Vegas and eloped with a Son of Perdition outlaw biker. What do you think about that?”

Cassie’s eyes grew wide and her jaw dropped open, as she stared at the wedding band on her friend’s finger. “Victoria Alexandra Jones—what the fuck?” she screamed, her voice reverberating into the hallway that was filled with kids.

Tori burst out laughing. Wait until her friends heard the whole story!
