“Nonsense. This is all Maddie’s doing. I just made a mistake and double-booked a date.”

“And I’m glad you did.” Maddie smiled at all of her favorite people together in one place. It had taken months of hard work to turn Mitch’s house into a combination law office and family house, but they’d done it.

Now her two men could build their practice while they all built a life together. She wasn’t quite ready to give up her apartment in the city, but Maddie found herself spending more and more time at Nestledown with her guys.

Clark had been right that day when he explained their idea for the future. Maddie wanted to wake up every morning in their arms or listen to the sound of their voices and laughter. She didn’t want to stay in a city that didn’t have the loves of her life in it.

The future was as bright as the sunshine streaming in the front windows, and Maddie couldn’t wait to embrace it with both arms.

She winked at Harlow. “Now all you need is to find yourself a pair of eligible bachelors and life will be perfect.”

Harlow held up her hands. “No way. I’m way too busy with my day job and the matchmaking to juggle two guys, let alone one. I’m perfectly happy being single right now, thank you very much.”

Her best friend might not want to admit it, but all she needed was a push in the right direction and a taste of her own medicine. Maddie turned to her with a grin. “Sounds like someone’s in need of a matchmaker.”
