“Boy, are adults dumb. Why would you forget to eat?” Veronica made a comment and laughed while shaking her head at them.
“Let’s go pack up your things Veronica.” Her grandmother said, leading her out of the room.
A few minutes later his mom came back into the room. “I hope you remembered to use protection. Not that another grandbaby wouldn’t be nice. But I think you should wait until you’ve been together for a bit.” She looked between the two of them.
Chase couldn’t stop the guilty look that crossed his face, and she saw it, “Oh, well I guess we can hope that Kitty won’t get pregnant.”
“It was only once mom, and honestly, the other times I used protection.” He admitted.
His mom had the sense to turn bright red, and turned away, “Kids nowadays. But I must admit that in our younger years, your father and I couldn’t keep our hands off of one another either!”
Chase stood up, “Alright I’ve had enough of this conversation. Veronica are you ready?” He yelled out.
Kitty and his mom laughed, “Well just being honest.” His mom commented.
“I know mom but hush now. Veronica will be in here any second.” Chase commented.
A few minutes later the girl came running into the room. “I heard you laughing in here, what was so funny? What did I miss?” She asked.
“Nothing dear, we were just laughing at how much food your father can eat.” Chase’s mom commented.
“Oh, did you tell Kitty about that one time when he ate like 200 tacos?” Veronica asked.
“You ate two hundred tacos? Why in the world would you eat so many of them?” Kitty said surprised.
“It wasn’t two-hundred, it was like fifty of them and my friend and I were trying to see who could eat more. I won, just so you know. But I don’t think I’ve ever ate another taco in my life after that!” Chase admitted. “I was sick for weeks after that.”
Kitty laughed, “I guess that teaches you!”
“Come on, let’s go drop off Kitty.” Chase gave his mom a hug goodbye, “I’ll drop off Veronica tomorrow again.”
“Bye. Kitty it was great seeing you again, don’t be a stranger.” His mom hugged Kitty goodbye.
Chase helped Kitty up into the jeep once more and drove off. Veronica was in the backseat telling them about all the things she had sold, and what was left to sell. “I might look through my things and take some more stuff tomorrow.” She commented.
“How much did you make today?” Kitty asked her.
“I think grandma said my share was like two hundred dollars.” Veronica said proudly.
“Wow, that much, nice job.” Kitty said, smiling.
Chapter 37
Chase helped Kitty into the hotel room after checking her in. Veronica carried a small container, and held it out to Kitty once they were inside. “Here grandma and I made these for you earlier, they are chocolate chip cookies, and they are yummy.”
“Oh, thank you so much. I’m sure they are delicious.” Kitty took the container from Veronica and placed it on the small table in the room.
“Hey where are my cookies?” Chase asked.
“I have more in my backpack silly.” Veronica laughed, “Don’t worry we didn’t forget about you. But I didn’t pack many since you were saying how you needed to cut the sweets out of your diet the other day.”
“I didn’t mean grandma’s cookies though.” Chase laughed.
“Too bad daddy!”
Kitty smiled up at him, “I’ll share mine with you if you want.”
He pulled her close and kissed her softly. “I’ll see you tomorrow sometime.”
“We can pick you up in the morning and you can have breakfast with us. This is why I was saying she should have stayed at our place daddy.” Veronica said.
“I guess we’ll pick you up in the morning.” He kissed her once more.
“Oh Veronica, by the way, I think your dad keeps forgetting to tell you about this.” Kitty began, “On Monday he’s going to talk to the principal at your school, and if he’s not satisfied with the results of the meeting, you’ll be here with me.” Kitty told the girl.
“Really? Daddy I get to spend the day with Kitty?” Veronica jumped up and down happily. “Why didn’t you tell me that before?”
“Sorry munchkin I’ve had other things on my mind.” He gave Kitty a knowing look. “Come on let’s get you home and in bed, you’ll have another long day tomorrow.”
“Bye Kitty.” Veronica ran over to her and gave her a hug, “I think we’ll have fun on Monday, I hope I get to come.”
“Me too sweetheart.” Kitty hugged her tightly back.
Chase gave her a hug as well and one more kiss, this one a little longer than the other two. He could hear Veronica in the background whispering something about adults. He chuckled as he let Kitty go and left the room.
Chapter 38
Chase got home and put Veronica to bed. He ate the cookies his mom and Veronica had packed for him quickly, and wished he had more. However, he was also thankful, because he knew they would ruin his body if he ate as many as he wanted.
Though he had worked off quite a few calories in the afternoon. He thought of making love to Kitty and smiled. Her body was pliant, and he was sure it would be even more, once the cast was off of her leg.
He couldn’t wait to have her sit on top of him and slide down his rock-hard cock. They had tried earlier but couldn’t get her leg to move the right way in order to accomplish it.
Chase felt himself harden as he thought back to the afternoon of love making with Kitty. He wished she was here right now, he’d love to make love to her and have her fall asleep beside him. Then when they woke up in the morning make love to her again.
It was at that point, he seriously began to consider what Veronica had said about Kitty moving in. Heck if his daughter was okay with it, why shouldn’t he be?
Moving her in with them would solve many issues. The fact that she didn’t have a place to live once the time at the hotel was up was the main one.
Another thing it would help to solve is those days when Veronica didn’t have school, Kitty would be able to take care of her. Though his mom did now, and other days she was in daycare, it would be nice to have someone who loved her with her.
He couldn’t forget the extra added bonus of being able to make love to her anytime he wanted. Well almost anytime, as long as Veronica was preoccupied doing something else.
Chase made a note to talk to Veronica about coming into his room, especially if Kitty moved in with them. He was sure the she would be ecstatic about this development and promise to leave them alone, or at least knock on the door before coming in the room.
Now if Kitty would only agree to it, all of their lives would be easier. He sighed thankful that he had been able to work his way out of the mess he had almost created earlier in the day.
But thank goodness, he’d been able to find the words to let her know that he loved her.
Chapter 39
Veronica was up bright and early, Chase could hear her moving around in the house as he opened his eyes. He walked out of his room and found her. “Hey munchkin what are you doing?”
“Looking for more stuff to sell!” She stated. “See I have a big box full of things I can take.” She showed him a box.
Chase sat down and looked through it, “Are you sure you want to get rid of all of this?” He asked.
“Yes, I want to have more money saved up.”
“Why munchkin?”
“I told you I want to buy you a gift when you get married to Kitty.” Veronica said.
“What, I haven’t even asked her to marry me yet.”
“But you will soon, I can tell.” Veronica giggled.
“Is that right little munchkin. How do you even know she’ll say yes?”
“Oh, I can tell.” She smiled at him and ran out of the room to find more things to put into the box.
“Hey munchkin, sit down for a second I want to ask you s
omething.” Chase stopped her when she came back into the room.
“Sure daddy.” She said as she plopped down beside him on the couch.
“I was thinking about what you said about Kitty moving in with us. Are you sure it is something you want?”
“Yes daddy, I do.” Veronica answered honestly.
“Okay, I think I’m going to talk to her about this today. I just wanted to make sure you hadn’t changed your mind about it.” Chase explained.
“No of course not daddy I love her.”
Chase hugged Veronica close to him, “So do I sweetie, so do I.”
“I know that daddy, I could tell by the way you kissed her goodbye yesterday.” She laughed.
“One other thing, if she moves in you must knock on the bedroom door, you can’t just come in.” Chase stated.
“Why not?” She asked innocently.
“That is a discussion for when you are much older but for now I just need you to listen to me, okay?”
“Sure daddy, I’ll knock from now on.”
“Thanks munchkin, do you have everything packed? We’ll go pick up Kitty and come back for breakfast. What do you think about pancakes?” Chase asked.
“Can we have chocolate chip pancakes?” She smiled.
“Sure munchkin.”
“Then it is a deal giant!” She laughed. “But can you carry this box for me?”
“Sure, I got it.” He picked up the box that was actually quite heavy and followed Veronica to the jeep.
“What do you have in this box?” He asked wondering if he should go through it once more.
“Some old shoes and clothes mostly, plus a few books that I won’t read again.” Veronica said.
“Alright, just make sure it is all stuff you want to sell before you put it out.”
“I will daddy.”
Chapter 40
Kitty opened the door to let Chase and Veronica in. She hugged them both and kissed Chase on the lips.
“Can I tell her daddy?” Veronica asked.
“Well I don’t know.” Chase looked at her, “I would rather discuss it with her later today but oh well go ahead.”
“Daddy and I want you to move in with us!” Veronica announced. “We talked about it yesterday and this morning more, and both of us think it’s a good idea. What do you say?” Veronica looked at her expectantly.
Kitty put her hand up to her mouth in shock and then looked at Chase, “Are you sure this is what you want?” She questioned.
He shuffled his feet and shook his head, “Yeah I want this, as long as you do.”
Kitty was sure but she was nervous it was a big step.
“Come on Kitty, it will be nice. That way on Monday you will be there and I can just stay home in case daddy doesn’t like what the principal says.” Veronica said.
“Yeah okay sure.” She finally answered.
To Chase it didn’t sound too positive but more of an answer to quite his daughter. Kitty and he were going to discuss this in private later just to make sure it was the right choice for them all.
“Come on munchkin, let’s go make breakfast.” Chase picked her up and carried her to the jeep.
“Kitty do you like chocolate chip pancakes? Daddy is making them.” Veronica smiled as she talked.
“I’ve never had them but I’m sure they are quite fattening and good.” Kitty laughed.
Chase opened the door for Veronica and then opened the door for Kitty. “I told you before you could stand to put on a few more pounds!” He said and swatted her ass.
Kitty yelped and almost fell over, Chase barely caught her before she lost her balance. “Sorry I didn’t mean to do that at all. I was trying to give you a friendly swat on the ass. See if you put on more weight I wouldn’t have almost knocked you over.” He laughed as Kitty stuck out her tongue at him.
“Hey munchkin, why did we bring the box along if we were going back home for breakfast?” Chase asked Veronica.
“I think you told me something about me not selling everything I had!”
Kitty laughed as she listened to the banter between father and daughter, how she would have loved to have that growing up. It made her wonder what her real father was like and how different her life would have been had he been in it.
“Hey you know I’ve been thinking and I think I do want to try and contact my real father. I mean sure he’s missed out on 23 years but at least I would have him in my life now. That is if he is still alive.” Kitty said to Chase.
“Okay, if you find out his last name we can look him up online. But that will mean talking to your mother.” Chase looked at her.
“I had an idea about that. If I talk to my father, or should I say who I thought was my father, he might not be as nasty when he tells me the information. I think he wants off the hook of me thinking he was my dad.” Kitty reasoned, giving a shrug.
“I’m really sorry honey that your parents treated you like that the other day. Hell, I’m sorry they treated you the way they did when you were growing up. In my opinion, no child should ever feel unloved.” Chase put his hand on her leg and squeezed it.
“I know, I would never do that to a child.” Kitty said.
Chapter 41
Chase pulled up to his home and helped Kitty out and then grabbed Veronica out of the backseat. She had already undone her seatbelt and was almost out of the car, signing a song about chocolate chip pancakes and how much she planned on eating.
He laughed, as Kitty asked her, “Are they really that good?”
“Oh, my goodness they are like heaven when you put them in your mouth.” Veronica sang.
“Is that right, I can’t wait to try them!”
“Kitty I’m so glad you aren’t going to not eat them because you’re worried about gaining weight. You know daddy is right, you look really nice a little bigger!” She said innocently.
Chase laughed and shook his head, “Oh to be so young and innocent again.”
“You know the other day Ms. Simmons made a comment to me and I’ve been thinking about it for a while. She was talking about how little I ate, and that it wasn’t right for the industry to make us basically starve ourselves to succeed.” Kitty explained.
“I have to say I agree with her. So, what can you do about it?” He asked.
“I’m not really sure but I’m going to try and talk to some of the other models I know and see if we can get a group going, almost like a support group at first. Then when we have enough people maybe approach some companies and talk to them. I want to see if we can change this about the industry. I don’t want young woman s growing up thinking they have to be skinny to be desirable. You’ve taught me that isn’t the case.” She smiled at him.
“You are still very skinny Kitty, you talk like you’ve blown up to over 200 pounds. You have to weigh all of 120, if that.” Chase replied.
“Oh, my goodness I hope not. You know I was only 102 pounds before this. That’s a huge amount of weight.” She panicked.
“Shhh, remember you want to change those standards. So, in order to do that you have to show them you can weigh more and men and other consumers will still find you attractive.” He calmed her.
“Yeah, I know, I can’t help but panic still. I don’t mean too. Hey do you have a scale that I can use to weigh myself?” She asked.
“Only if you promise to not freak out if you weigh more than you think.” He said to her.
“I’ll try.” She promised.
“I’ll go with her daddy and make sure she doesn’t get upset. Make the pancakes, I’m starving.” Veronica took Kitty’s hand than let it go, “I guess I can’t hold your hand yet but once you’re off the crutches I can, right?”
“Of course, sweetie anytime you want too.” Kitty smiled at her and followed the little woman looking back at Chase as he began to get the ingredients together.
He smiled up at her, “You heard the boss, I have to get to work, or she’ll scold me!”
“Yep you don’t want her starvi
ng!”
“Or you either!” He winked at her, “I love you Kitty.”
“I love you too Chase.” She turned and made her way to where she could hear Veronica calling her from.

Kitty took a deep breath and realized she would weigh a lot more because of the cast. She laughed realizing that and stepped on the scale. But still her heart sank for a moment when she saw the needle stop at 115.
“But you have a cast on, how much do you think that weighs?” Veronica mentioned, knowing that Kitty was a bit upset.
“You know what I’m not going to worry about it. What your dad said made sense. I can’t very well go in and claim that bigger models are needed and weigh nothing.” Kitty told the girl.
“Yeah that’s true, they would look at you like you’re crazy!”
“They sure would.” She patted Veronica on the head.
“Kitty I’m glad you agreed to move in, it will be nice not being the only girl in the house!” Veronica smiled.
“Is that right?”
“Yeah sometimes daddy can’t help me pick out a good outfit. I swear he has no idea what colors go together!” She laughed.
“Well don’t you worry, we’ll make sure you have outfits that match from now on.”
“I love you Kitty.” Veronica hugged her, though she only came up to her waist, it was still one of the best hugs Kitty had ever had in her life.
“I love you too Veronica.”
“Hey you two, hurry up the first batch is done and ready. Get them while they are still hot.” Chase yelled from the other room.
“Come on, the butter melts on them great when they are hot.” Veronica ran out of the room.
When Kitty made it to the kitchen, Veronica already had her plate in front of her and was putting the butter on the plate of pancakes in front of her.
“Are you really going to eat all of those?” Kitty asked looking at what had to be 6 pancakes.
“Most likely not but daddy always puts a lot on my plate, because he knows I love them so much.” She smiled.
Kitty sat down and put her nose to the plate, “They do smell delicious.”
