Once in the bedroom, Luke laid her out gently across the bed. The look in his dark eyes brought that sting, that threat of tears, happy ones this time. He removed her clothes with a gentle haste, and she found herself naked in a minute, lounging there watching him remove his own with more of a fever.
Once the last shred fell to the floor, he climbed over her, mounting his prey, and she liked being that for him. Wet already, just from being undressed by him, she moved his erection to that waiting, wanting space between her legs. He entered her the same way he'd undressed her, with a compassionate and considerate urgency. Tallan snuggled into the crook of his neck, gazing adoringly up at him, eyelids heavy, panting heavily.

"You know you are mine now. There is no going back. I could never let you go, let you be with another. I hope you are good with that. You never got that time to think."
"With every inch of my being, I am," she reassured him, touching his cheek.
"Good. We have plans to make then."
"I'm all ears, bear boy."
His laugh soothed anything left still unraveled in her as her panther rested within, purred, content, sated and mated.
