Stretching her arms upward to the dark sky, Delinear laughed.
“The fools! Little do they know that we have amassed an army from all over the universe!”
“True. But, still, we have a problem,” Eloran said to her. His hand was lazily stroking his cock while he spoke.
Delinear turned her head to meet his eyes, but at the same time, couldn't help but drop down to his hand. He laughed at her gaze.
“Love your dick much?” she guffawed, shooting her eyes back to his.
“Well, you have to admit it is damned amazing!” he answered.
“It is indeed!” she absentmindedly said. Then, she asked, “What problem?”
“Getting them onto Earth.”
She rolled her eyes, and sat up crossing her arms on her knees with her chin on them. They had worked for thousands of years, amassing a massive army, but like the Anaerris, only a few Onaerris were left. They had been set to training the others that they had gathered. Yet, still they did not know how to get them to Earth. Her own Vorc'ara was nowhere near strong enough, nor could she keep it open long enough for thousands of troops to emerge. So, Eloran was right. It was a problem. Oh, sure! Delinear had not had a problem betraying her own. After all, she had done it numerous times. That bitch, Analyse, had caused all kinds of problems, which had led to Delinear's ousting from the Anaerris Council, where she had sat since the beginning – or the casting out to be sent to prison, which was a more accurate description! And, all because Delinear invented the Terraforming machine against all rules and laws. Then, she had easily seduced and killed a young guard, who she had enlisted to help her. She did so by opening a Vorc'ara to a world of pure ice where he would freeze to death in seconds. When it had disappeared, she had every intention of finding out where it was, and stealing it back, but the War of the Exiled had begun and. When she did find out where it was, she was angered, because it had been burned to the ground. But, not by the Onaerris! But by the Anaerris to keep anyone from getting their hands on it! Frustrated, she had immediately joined Eloran, and furiously helped the Onaerris destroy the Anaerris. She took great happiness in killing her own kind! Her desire and sexual lust drove her to want to rule, and enslaving both of their kind was her strongest wish! Just the thought of having slaves to do her every whim fueled her sex.
“DAMN!” she shouted to no one.
Restless, Delinear stood and stretched uncaring that she was nude, or that Eloran was lusting with his eyes even as his hand pumped his own hardened cock. The two of them adored watching each other give themselves orgasms. And, then she'd give him what he wanted! But, it was fun to flaunt her nudity in front of him. After the stretch, she put her hands on her hips staring out at the ocean before her, and slipped deeper into thought. Frowning again, neither she nor Eloran ever believed that Analyse and Jolinaer would escape to another world, dimension, plain of existence, realm, or another place!
Rumors and legends of a “Jewel” began running rampant to the point where Eloran began to believe it was not an object, but a person, that was in the stories. Once they realized this, they had spent the last several thousand years trying to figure out where the Jewel was. This person had the power and knowledge of the Anaerris from before the fall not to mention the knowledge of everything else! With that knowledge, they could finally challenge the one who had confined them to this universe, and get rid of him! But, they believed that they couldn't get rid of the Creator without the Crystal, and of course, the Code of Anaerris that had been hidden long ago. They had failed at every turn. But, it had only been just a few weeks ago that rumors abounded from Imaerra. She was convinced that she had discovered a Fae was living in Colorado, in the guise of a tiny little dog with a human slave. So, Eloran had sent both Imaerra and Quazer to spy on the Fae to make sure of it.
Delinear grinned on a side note that sprang into her mind. There was one thing that was great about the inferior humans, and that was their colorful words and phrases. The entire council, and all others, used them quite frequently. The word “Fuck” was her favorite of all! It turned her on so much, that any time Eloran, or her many other lovers, said the word, she would spread her legs, and let them do it! She turned to look at Eloran who was licking his lips, then her gaze drifted to his huge hard-on. She needed to ride him now! As she walked toward him, she continued her thoughts.
They had realized that the Fae bitch was dancing around a young, human woman. No one could enslave, or confine a Fae, while they were in a different form, either. They were far too powerful. But, they could make her so damn miserable that she just might tell them what they wanted to know! So, together, both Delinear and Eloran had ordered Imaerra to follow the tiny Fae with storms that grew wilder and wilder with each manifestation, hoping that it would force her to turn into her true form. Then, she could be coerced into telling them who the Jewel was. Delinear frowned as she gazed into the darkness while she approached Eloran. But, it didn't work, so then, she had tried to kill its human pet by capturing her. Until that moment, not one of them had ever entertained the idea that a human could use any powers at all! When, oh hell! What was her name? Gina? Gong? Gem? Yes! That was what Imaerra had told them! Gem! When she saw her open a Vorc'ara, Delinear's mouth had dropped open in surprise. Delinear stopped in shock! That's when it came to her that Gem was not just a human! She had to one of her own! She had to be Anaerris! The one they had been looking for over thousands of years, who most believed was myth! And, she was protected by a Fae! They had to do something! She stopped and stared down at Eloran, who was still stroking himself, and felt wetness flow from her sex. Well, maybe after she rode him! They had time! After all? Where could she go even with her protectors? This Gem didn't even realize that she was from another world and universe...and, they had obviously not told her!
“Fuck,” Eloran smirked flipping his massive cock at her, his balls distended to almost a full ten inches.
She grinned at the word. He knew her so well! She walked to stand over him, so he could see her wetness as it dripped onto his cock, then sank slowly over it. As she sat down on him, taking him inside of her, he reached for her very large bouncing breasts.
“Fuck,” she agreed, and screamed when she felt him slam his huge cock into her body.
“Now, what?” Gem asked Jaxx.
Jaxx pulled his mate to him, slamming her body against his. Gem relished the feeling as she felt his hardness press up against her.
“Excited to see me?” she quipped with a smug grin.
“I'm always excited in your presence. I know I'll be spending our entire existence together hard. I will always be hard for you, when I'm both with you, or apart from you. Just thinking about you makes me hard!” he grinned against her mouth as he punished her mouth with his.
Several minutes later, he broke off the kiss, and she stroked his cheek with her left palm, while her right hand was gripped in his.
“You know what we have to do, right?” he asked her.
She nodded her head, then added, “I never felt such incredible power from anything as I did when the book spoke through me, Jaxx. Whatever is to happen isn't going to be easy, nor is it going to be gentle.”
“We are going to experience a lot of pain, Gem. Are you certain you wish to do this?” he asked, frowning at her.
She smiled sadly at him, and pulled his head down so she could lean her forehead against his.
“Oh, my love. It is what our Creator wants, so how could either of us deny it?”
“Because, He gave us free will – all of us, Gem. It is, and has always been, our choice,” he told her. “Each of us have one life, but infinite choices. We must choose wisely, my beautiful mate.”
“But, how do we use wisely in the face of everything?”
“Wisdom is not chosen by chance, but by what is right. If we choose right, then the choice is wise.”
She grinned up into his gorgeous eyes, and stroked his cheek gently.
“You are wise, Jaxx, but choosing what is righ
t is always the hard thing to do.”
“But, the end result will end in something beautiful. Regardless what it may do to us, the end will not justify the means, but we will be worthy of the final outcome.”
Gem thought of that for a moment, then, looked at him. He was right. But, the truth be known, she was terrified. Who was she that she was chosen? She had no idea, but he was her mate. He was right, and therefore, any pain created by this process would be worth it if it kept the book's knowledge out of the hands of Eloran and Delinear.
“Then, we do this – now,” she told him, and he nodded once, leading her to the book that lay on the table.
“First, according to the book, there are apparently three things needed – my blood upon the cover, yours upon the pages, and something you possess that must be used to help open it along with my blood. I will go first since the cover must be opened by my blood, and while you can touch it, you cannot open the hidden crystal pages that are the real Terraforming machine.”
He turned to look at her.
“Are you ready?” he asked her.
“Of course not! I'm not going to lie, and tell you I'm not scared stiff, Jaxx. I don't really have a choice in this, but you? I am so sorry that you are involved in all of this,” she told him. “And, exactly what do I possess that we need?”
“I don't know, but Gemma said that you do. Think, Gem! What could it be?”
Gem shook her head. “I really don't know, Jaxx. I can't think of any….” Gem stopped as she realized something. She grabbed the amulet in her hand, and pulled it out showing it to Jaxx. “This! This is it! It's an amulet that my Dad had hidden. I found it right after the fire!”
Jaxx took the amulet, and stared at it. It was like nothing he had ever seen, but what shocked him most were that the symbols upon it matched all three moons!
“You know what it is?” Gem asked him.
“I do.” He looked up at her. “This amulet contains all three symbols of Anaerra, Onaerra, and Domaerra. There has to be something on the book, or in it, that will activate it!”
Gem thought a moment.
“What if...Jaxx! What if this is what is keeping the crystalline pages hidden?”
“I never would have thought about that! It makes a lot of sense. We will proceed with that knowledge. Gem, I am just as afraid as you, because I never even thought of anything like this. We should be, because the power of the Creator is great, and should be respected at all costs.”
Pulling her toward the table, he pulled out an ancient dagger that she had never seen before.
“How did I not see that?” she asked, shaking her head.
“Oh, probably, because you had your eye on, uh, something a bit bigger?” he laughed, and she joined him in his own nervous laughter.
“Indeed. And, to tell the truth? I love the thing that's a 'bit bigger' better anyway!”
Jaxx jerked her to him for one final kiss, before they touched the book.
The two of them stood in front of it, looked at each other, not knowing if neither would survive, and proceeded as they had been instructed by the codex.
Letting her hand go, Jaxx, first, took his dagger and sliced his palm, letting his own blood drain on the cover of the Codex. Nothing happened. They looked at each other in puzzlement. Suddenly, they heard a loud twanging sound, that made each of them turn back to look at the book. The cover was slowly becoming blood red. As it took shape, they saw the symbol that also matched Gem's amulet in shape, design, and size. It began to glow silver with the first symbol of the river, which they both realized was the peach ocean of Anaerra. Then, immediately followed by the smoking mountain, which was obviously representing Onaerra. And, a snow-capped mountain, which represented Domaerra, glowed silver, swirling just like any Vorc'ara. Finally, there was a starburst at the top, and could only be one thing. Destruction of everything they knew. Gem looked at Jaxx, and at his nod, she placed the amulet down where it settled easily into its special place.
A sonic boom followed by a brilliant light, burst from the code so brightly, both Jaxx and Gem were blinded by it. Gem screamed. Then, nothing.
Taylor wasn't happy about any of this, and turned to run back to the cabin, when Rick caught up with her, and wrapped his arms around her to hold her back. She glared at him when he shook his head in warning. Narrowing her eyes, she turned back to look at the cabin that was across the lake. She huffed, turned, and stomped up the steps, walking into the cabin behind her, and slamming the door in his face. She plopped down onto the tattered sofa that was covered with dust and dirt over years of neglect, and sneezed as it flew everywhere. Then, she broke into tears.
Rick knew how upset Taylor was, because he was just as frustrated at Jaxx as Gem. It was a huge mistake for something to happen in their world that no one knew about, and even worse, when they couldn't help the one person they both loved like a sister. Rick sighed, climbed the same steps, and opened the door. He walked into it, and saw the love of his life in tears. His heart broke. It had been more years than he could remember since she had last cried. Slowly he approached his mate, and silently sat down beside her, pulling her into his arms. She buried her face into his chest, and he sat holding her tightly as she unleashed a tide of tears.
Outside, Stacy and Stan were talking about what they had planned to do in case something went horribly wrong.
“I don't know, Stan. What do we do, now? It has already gone south, but could it get any worse?” Stacy asked him.
Stan shook his head at the obvious answer to her question.
“Of course, it could get worse! Why did you even say that? You know what happens whenever someone says that! Look at who and what we are, Stacy.” Stacy just frowned at him, then turned to look toward her cabin where they had left Gem and Jaxx. “OK. I mean look at all of us. I'm not human, Stacy, and despite the fact by mating me, I gave you your longevity, and even given your almost invulnerable and immortal status, you are still human.”
Stan paced back and forth, trying to find the words he needed to say. He stopped and looked at her as if he had come to a decision.
“Look,” he said pulling her to him. Oh, she was mad, and he knew it, but he needed to make her understand. “I know I told you about our war, but I never told you all of it.”
Stacy's head jerked toward him in surprise.
“Huh?” she asked.
“Yeah.”
“But, why?” Stacy was very puzzled.
“Because, the carnage and the blood that flooded Anaerris was even sickening to those of us who did not believe in attacking the people of Anaerris.”
“Blood?” she said, then her eyebrows went up, and her eyes opened in total shock. “Oh, shit! It was a thousand times worse than anything you told me, right?”
“No. Try a million times worse,” he told her sadly.
Stacy looked up at him. She wanted to know.
“I don't care. Show me,” she demanded.
Stan shook his head, but Stacy wouldn't accept it.
“I demand it, Stan! I'm your mate for the Creator's sake! I am due all that I am entitled to as your mate. That is what you said.”
“Well…,” he started.
“No. No 'well'; no 'I'm not sure'; no 'I don't think that's a good idea'; no nothing! Show me!”
Hanging his head, he nodded, then raised his hands to her head holding them on either side of her forehead. He slowly lowered his own to hers until his forehead touched hers.
Stacy gasped as images flooded her mind. In seconds, tears, in an unending stream, flowed down her cheeks as she realized why Stan had never showed her all of it. And, right at that moment, she wished she had kept her damn mouth shut! The violent scenes of mutilation and blood were already making her stomach churn. But, what was worse was the wide River of Blood that wound its way toward the brilliant red moon of Onaerris, looking for all the world as if it was actually flowing straight into it. He showed her why the river was filled with blood by centering his thoughts at the be
ginning of it. Stacy started to gag, and in seconds, she was bent over throwing up anything that was in her stomach. Stan had been right! She would forever remember the dismembering of the Anaerris people as knives and swords sliced their bodies open allowing their blood flooding into the river. And, it wasn't just a few! There had to be thousands more Onaerris waiting their turn for the bloodletting! The faces that she saw as Stan continued to bring them up were covered in the blood of the Anaerris as they drank the blood of their enemies, even before draining the rest into the River of Blood. But, when she saw her own beloved's face covered in that blood, she threw up all over again, while Stan held her hair back, and cut off the images that he had poured into her mind. He regretted showing her his own face during the purge, even though he was not a part of it.
“I'm so, so sorry, my love,” he said softly, as he held her in his arms when she collapsed.
Stacy could only shake her head. Her lover's face was still prominent in her mind, but she had no one to blame but her own stupidity.
“Don't,” she begged, pushing against his chest. She lifted her eyes to his. “It's not your fault. It is mine. It was I who wanted to know. I understand why you didn't want me to see it.”
“I did so against my better judgment, Stacy. I'm sorry you saw what I looked like.”
“But, I know it wasn't the reason your face was covered in blood,” she told him.
Shock crossed his face. How could she possibly know that?
Pulling his head down, she placed a gentle kiss on his lips.
“How did you know?” he asked still surprised after she raised her lips from his.
“Because, it's you,” she stated simply.
Stan closed his eyes, and sniffed his mate's scent. How did he ever earn this beauty? He didn't deserve her.
