“There isn’t much you can do, then.”

“We need to find a safe place to hide during the attack. I won’t fight my friends unless I’m forced to, to protect us,” he explained, in a low tone, while they kept walking around the place. “We’ll escape during the chaos of the invasion.”

“But… what if the bar code really can kill me?” she asked, not sure she wanted to take that risk.

“Even if it can do it, the humans will destroy the walls during the attack, and there won’t be anything to activate it,” he pointed out.

“Right…” she nodded, hoping he was right.

“Let’s go back inside before you freeze to death out here,” he said with a scowl.

“Yes, please, sir. It’s very cold,” she agreed, smiling relieved.

When they entered the main structure, Anion was there with a few friends.

“Khajal… what were you doing out there with this weather?” the blue alien asked, with a frown of suspicion on his face.

“Punishing my slave, she complained she was too hot, so I decided to cool her off,” he replied in a cold tone, never looking at Savannah.

Instinctively, she kept her head down and her hands behind her back as she had seen some of the other girls do.

Anion bought Khajal’s story and let out a loud laugh. “I’m sure she won’t complain again.”

“Yes, I’m sure of that too.” Khajal nodded.

“Join us for breakfast. We were on our way to the refectory.” the other man suggested.

“Sure, why not?” he agreed, knowing refusing would probably trigger alarms amongst the aliens.

They headed to the massive place and soon they were seated at a big table. Some of the men there were accompanied by their slaves, and before they reached the table, Khajal had whispered in her ear to act like the other slaves. The last thing they wanted was for the aliens to get suspicious.

So, despite the rage, it made her feel, she knelt next to his chair and waited like the rest of the slaves, for their masters to feed them as if they were pets.

Khajal mimicked the others at the table and handed her some food while eating and chatting with them. They were commenting how successful the raid on the small village had been and the number of new females brought to the colony.

“Your arrival to the colony Khajal has inspired our scientists, and they are on the verge of discovering the way to use these women as incubators for our fertilized eggs,” One of them, called Sullion, said.

Startled, he looked up to the man. “I thought you didn’t have enough eggs,” he pointed out, with a slight frown.

“Oh, but we do. Our females can produce them by dozens, but they no longer seem able to carry the eggs all the way up to the birth of the babies. It drains them way too much.” The man explained. “Our eggs work a bit like what you would describe as a parasite. They root in whatever environment they find suitable and drain their sustenance from the host.”

  “I see.”

“This will be perfect if we can make them feed on the human females. We would be able to implant at least ten eggs in each one of them, and soon we would double our numbers since the gestation only takes a couple of months and all we need is a couple more to get to our adult forms.”

Their plan sounded perfect. If they managed that, they would be practically impossible to defeat. Humans couldn’t replace their soldiers that fast and even a cyborg needed at least a couple of years to become an adult able to fight.

“Have you shared your discoveries with the other colonies?” Khajal asked, doing all he could to keep his poker face in place.

“No, of course not. And we won’t until we’ve been able to breed a few of the females,” Anion replied, in a cold tone.

“Yes, I understand. It would be premature to discuss it if you don’t have reliable results,” Khajal said, nodding.

“Exactly,” Anion said, pleased he had agreed with him.

“I’m sure we’ll have those results soon enough,” Sullion added, with a proud smile.

The meal finally ended, and they stood to go back to their duties.

“Khajal, my friend, why don’t you come with me, and look at the new merchandise?” Anion suggested, with a devious grin on his face. “I’m sure you’re getting tired of that slave, by now.”

“Actually, no. I’ve barely finished training her the way I like, so I believe I’ll stick with her if you’re alright with that,” Khajal stated evenly without emotion.

“Of course, if that’s what you want. If you’re not too busy, would you please accompany to one of the warriors’ training sessions. I’m sure the new men would love to learn from one of the best,” he said, with his usual greasy grin that disgusted Khajal so much.

Though the Taucets preferred to attack from the safety of their vessels, the humans had soon learned to take them outside, fighting them in places ships weren’t much help. Human vessels still weren’t much of a match for those of the Taucets.

That was the last thing Khajal wanted, but he knew saying no wasn’t an option.

“I’ would be more than pleased,” he assured him, nodding. “I’ll just take my slave back to my quarters…”

“I'm sure she can find her way. My men are anxious to meet you.” the other one interrupted.

Khajal pursed his lips but finally agreed, as he got up from his chair and helped Savannah do the same from her kneeling position.

“Go straight back to my quarters and wait for me there. I don’t want you wandering around, do you hear me?”

“Yes, sir,” she nodded and immediately walked away. She had no idea how to get back to his quarters. She hadn't been out of them much ever since she had arrived at that place and the hallways all looked alike.

After a couple of minutes wandering around the place, she admitted she was lost, so she decided to go find someone to help her get there.

Fortunately, she didn’t have to look far. A hard labor slave showed up in a corner.

“Oh, thank god. Please, could you please help me? I’m lost,” she asked, with her best smile on her face.

“Can’t find the gutter you came from?” the other woman asked, oozing scorn.

Her attitude reminded her of Susan. Humankind was really screwed up when instead of fighting the common enemy you fought the ones on the same side as you.

“Yes, that’s right, the cyborg’s gutter. Do you happen to know where I can find it?” she asked, too tired and too worried to waste her time with a person like the one in front of her.

“The cyborg? You’re the cyborg’s slave?” the woman asked, and for some reason, she was sure she saw fear in the woman’s eyes.

“Yes, I am. Do you have a problem with that too?” she asked, sarcastic.

“No… no, I don’t. Just go all the way down this hall, and you find it on your left. His name is written on the door.” The woman explained, quickly disappearing down the hall as if escaping from something.

Savannah concluded the woman feared Khajal and though she agreed he was strong and powerful, she didn’t fear him. He exuded righteousness and looked like a true warrior, not someone vicious and cruel.

Shrugging, she followed the woman’s instructions and soon she was in the safety of his quarters.

She had been pacing for a long while now when someone knocked on her door. Startled, she opened the door, just to find Alexandra there.

“Hey, girl… what’s up?” the other woman asked, with what looked like a fake smile on her face.

“All good, what about you?” she asked, with a polite smile.

“Oh, I’m great. I’m having tea in my master’s quarters. He has given me permission to invite a few friends, and I thought you would enjoy it.” the woman said, with a smile Savannah was sure was meant to be alluring, but for some reason, it looked almost creepy.

  Something was wrong, really wrong.

“I’m sure it will be nice, but I’m not allowed to leave this place,” she replied, faking a regret s
he didn’t feel.

“Oh, come on, you’ll be back before he’s back, I assure you. Master Anion told me they would be at it for the rest of the day,” she explained, and though her tone was light and alluring, she was wriggling her hands nervously.

“Even so, he has means to know when I’m lying and I’m not exposing myself to being punished by him over a tea,” she replied, in a firm tone.

“Are you sure I can’t convince you?” the other woman insisted once more.

“Yes, I’m sure,” she smiled. “I hope you girls have a nice time, though and next time, let me know with time. I’m sure Master Khajal wouldn’t mind allowing me to go.”

“Sure… well, I have to go… have a good day.” The woman finally said goodbye and Savannah watched her walk away with a frown.

She closed the door and went to bed, determined to have some rest. Last night had been very stressful, and she hadn't slept much.

It felt as if she had just fallen asleep when the door to the room was opened, and a furious Khajal entered it.

“Is something wrong, sir?” she asked, startled, sitting in bed.

“I was told you left the room, defying the orders I gave you,” he snarled, and she finally understood what was behind Alexandra’s invitation.

“Who told you that, sir? I haven’t left the room ever since I got here,” she replied in a calmer tone, thanking all the gods she hadn't accepted the other woman’s invitation. She had felt tempted, she had to admit it, but Alexandra’s attitude had quickly dissuaded her from accepting it.

“Anion told me. He said you had gone to some sort of tea party with his slave and a few others,” he said, still with a stern tone, but no longer furious.

“She came by to invite me, yes, but I didn’t accept it since you had ordered me to stay here and not leave the room,” she explained, trying to make him see what had happened with no explicit words.

“Anion insinuated I was becoming too attached to a slave, someone temporary and of little importance in my life,” he continued in a very grim tone.

Hearing the other man speaking in a derogatory tone of Savannah had been a test of Khajal’s patience. It also made him aware of how important the small human had become to him, and that other people were noticing it.

He couldn’t explain it to himself, much less explain it to others. But that was endangering her. The Taucets weren’t pleased to his attachment to her and Anion’s play that afternoon only meant they wanted to see if he would punish her the way they would punish a disobedient slave.

He looked at her bare feet and ordered her. “Put your shoes on. If you wanted so much to go out, all you had to do was ask,” he snarled in a loud tone.

“But…” she tried to protest, but one look at his face silenced her, and she decided it was best to obey him.

Something wrong was going on, and she had no way to know what it was, just trust he would see the truth.

She was still wearing the jumpsuit he had ordered her to put on that morning, so when he took her outside and made her walk as if they were being chased, she thanked heavens for that. The wind blowing outside was even colder than in the morning, and despite the suit, she could feel it biting her face and hands.

  Chapter Thirteen

“It seems the Taucets aren’t pleased with our relationship,” he said when they were away from the igloo structures.

“Why do you think is that, sir?” she asked, frowning, as she walked behind him.

“Apparently, they expected me to turn you into my punch bag. In their minds, that would prove my hatred towards humans,” he explainedwith a stern expression.

“Oh… and how did you answer that, sir?” she asked, startled, shocked even.

“That I wasn’t programmed to destroy my toys,” he replied, exuding his scorn for the aliens.

Her heart missed a beat hearing him referring to her in such a manner, but she scolded herself for being so naïve. She was his toy, a slave he had been given to entertain himself during the time he was to spend on the colony.

But it still hurt… a lot… more than she thought possible and though she tried, she couldn’t get past the huge knot tying her throat to utter a response to that.

“We need to be careful. The Taucets aren’t as stupid as they look and the last thing I want is for them to find a reason to take you away from me,” he continued, surprising her a little, but she guessed he had grown used to being around her.

“I’ll do whatever you want me to, sir,” she acquiesced. She preferred to be with him than with one of the Taucets.

“This won’t last long, I’m sure of it,” he continued, striding faster and forcing her to jog behind him to keep up with him.

“So, we’ll go to the refectory tonight, and you’ll act the same way the other slaves act. If someone asks you if I punished you for disobeying my order, you won’t say you didn’t disobey, you’ll say yes. If they ask for details, you’ll tell them I’ve cured you from wanting to be out of my quarters by making you stroll around the colony several times until you were half frozen,” he explained, stopping and facing her. “Do you understand what I’m saying to you?” he asked, in a solemn tone.

“Yes… what I don’t understand is why you bother?”

“No one takes what’s mine from me. And you are mine, is that clear?” he snarled, through gritted teeth.

“Yes, sir,” she assured him, but it really wasn’t. Why would he feel she belonged to him? The man was an enigma that she wished she had the time to decipher.

“Perfect. Now, let’s go, we still have a few more laps to do,” he said, starting walking again. She followed him, and for a while, they walked in silence and soon she felt she wouldn’t have to lie if asked about her punishment. She was feeling tired, and her hands felt as if they were frozen.

“We need to make plans, in case of the humans attack when we’re not together,” he said after a while.

“What kind of plans?” she asked with a deep frown. She hadn't considered that possibility, but now she realized that it was quite possible, since the Taucets kept Khajal as busy as they could.

“Like where we’ll meet and what you’re supposed to do,” he replied. I’ll do my best not to fight my friends, but I won’t be imprisoned by the humans again. My priority is escaping the colony, taking you with me,” he explained.

“I would slow you down,” she pointed out, not sure what she was feeling. She wanted to escape the Taucets, but she could be easily killed during the attack, either by the Taucets or by the humans. She would have better chances at surviving staying with him, but where would that take her? He planned on leaving the planet to join the other cyborgs that had managed to escape before, and she was sure he wouldn’t want to take her with him.

What would happen to her then?

“Perhaps, but I don’t care. You’ll follow my instructions, and we might be able to leave this place soon,” he said, in a firm tone.

  “Yes, sir.”

“Remember the nearest door to my quarters? I want you to get out through those doors and head straight ahead, to structures where they grow the vegetables,” he ordered. “There will be people running all over the place but, I need you to focus on your goal and run as fast as you can until you get there. You’ll wait for me there, near the exterior wall, I’ll make sure the control room is down so that you can cross it and not be harmed by it,” he added.

She nodded and hoped they were together when the attack happened.

They finally returned to the warmness of the igloos and straight to their quarters. Once there, he ordered her to take a bath while he went back to meet the Taucets.

“I’ll be back to take you for dinner. Put on one of those navy rags you usually wear,” he told her before he left.

She nodded and let out a sigh. Things were getting complicated, and she had no idea what to do. For now, she would have to follow his instructions and hope for the best.

By the time he came back, she was ready, waiting f
or him, as he had ordered her, sitting on the bed.

“Good, I’m happy to see you’re ready. That gives us just enough time for this.”

Closing the distance between them, he took her by her hair and made her turn around and climb the bed on her four, capturing her hands together behind her back with one of his, as he pulled her skirt up with the other, exposing her shaved pussy to his eyes and fingers.

Slapping her ass, he made her spread her legs as wide as possible, before he ran his fingers down her slit and right into her wet pussy, thrusting two of them deep inside her while pressing and rubbing her clit with his thumb.

“You’re so wet…” he moaned, pleased as she gasped, feeling the first waves of pleasure rushing through her body.

He made her wet… all the time like no other man had ever done. She couldn’t quite explain why she reacted the way she did to all his caresses. Savannah was his slave. She should probably hate him for using her as a sex toy. But he did things to her that she never knew she wanted until he did them. She made no attempt to resist, not because she feared him, but because she wanted the pleasure he gave her.

He pushed his fingers in and out of her a few times until he had her trembling and sobbing underneath him before he replaced his fingers with his hard cock.

Plunging it all the way in, he made her cry out, while her walls stretched to receive him welcoming inside her.

He grunted his pleasure, staying still for a few moments before he started pounding her hard, showing an urgency, he hadn't shown before.

His hands gripped her hips so hard it felt as if he wanted to print them in her skin, as he took her down the road to paradise. Moans and grunts filled the room, and after just a few moments, he was taking her over the summit, right to the middle of the wildest turmoil of pleasure and bliss they had ever conjured together.

His growl rolled over her back and made her cry out in response while the powerful waves crashed over them again and again, and he poured himself into her.
