“I’m not getting a tattoo. Those things hurt.”
He chuckled at the same silly argument they’d had for weeks. He didn’t really want her to get a tattoo. He liked that her skin was as fresh and innocent as she was. Unmarked. They both might carry scars but she hadn’t marred her skin with any additional adornments it didn’t need. He just liked to tease her about it because she’d gone on and on about how sweet it was when Colt and Skylar got matching tattoos.
“How would you know if you’ve never had one?” He winked as he grabbed her dress from the floor and handed it back to her.
“Because I can hear Skylar screaming whenever she goes next door to get one.”
“Um, babe, I’m pretty sure those screams aren’t from the pain.” He wagged his eyebrows and then grunted when she smacked him in the stomach. “If they hurt her at all, Colt would never have put one on Skylar’s precious skin in the first place.”
“True.” She gave a dreamy little sigh and he fought the urge to curse his little brothers.
They were good men. Good to their women. They doted and adored. But they gave other men, their older brother in particular, a helluva high bar to live up to. Rachel being best friends with his brothers’ women only made him have to try harder to impress her. He’d give her the world, and he thought she knew that, but it didn’t mean he didn’t sometimes want to tell Cash and Colt to cool it with the romantic gestures.
A phone buzzed somewhere in the car and he groaned, “Sexy fantasy over. Back to the real world, baby.”
“Mmm, it was a good fantasy though.” Rachel smiled and kissed him quickly, “One you can feel free to repeat anytime.”
“Like I said, I’m gonna get hard every time I get in this damn car now.” He laughed as he forced his way through the small space between the seats again and climbed back into the driver’s seat.
“You get hard when the wind blows.” Rachel teased.
“Only if its carrying your scent, love.”
“Such a sweet talker.” Rachel giggled as he helped her climb back over the seat and into the passenger side again. “Was that your phone or mine?”
“Mine, I think.” He grabbed it from the center console and quickly read the text message before turning it off and setting it aside.
He buckled his seatbelt, gave Rachel a pointed look that made her do the same and then put the car in drive. He got them back onto the road and used the wipers to get rid of some of the condensation on the windshield. They barely made it a hundred feet before Rachel asked the question he’d known was coming.
“Who was that?”
“Huh?” He played dumb.
“The text message?” Her brows knit together.
“Just Jemma reminding me about dinner tomorrow.” He shrugged and admitted as much of the truth as he could.
“Oh… weird.” Rachel pulled her phone out and frowned, “She didn’t text me.”
“Of course she didn’t.” He winked, “She’s knows I’m the one that always makes you late or convinces you to stay in bed instead of going out with her and the girls.”
“True.” Rachel laughed and, luckily, let the conversation drop as they topped the hill to home.
Remy smiled to himself as he thought about the little white lie he’d just told. It had been Jemma texting him and she had reminded him not to be late for family dinner tomorrow. It was a new thing she’d implemented after the scares with Colt and then Rachel. The six of them got together once a week and nobody ever complained because their tight little family unit was exactly what they all needed. But that hadn’t been the only thing Jemma had text him.
She’d also been texting to let him know that the box he ordered had arrived. He’d had it shipped to Jemma and Cash’s apartment because he’d known there would be no way to keep it a secret if he had it sent to the trailer. Rachel usually opened their mail and a box from a jeweler wasn’t about to go unnoticed. Sending it to Skylar had been out of the question as well since that girl couldn’t keep a secret from her beloved surrogate sister to save her life. So, Jemma had gotten the honor of being the first and only person in the family to know he’d purchased a ring and according to his sister-in-law, it was here.
He was going to propose to Rachel.
No more waiting. No more backing off. No more being scared about losing her or her being afraid of losing him. She was his and he intended to put a ring on her finger and claim her for all the world to see. Forget tattoos. He wanted vows. He wanted forever and he wanted it with this woman that he loved more than he’d ever known was possible.
He and Rachel had both had enough bad days to last a lifetime. It was time they got to be happy. It was time for their happily ever after.

Book 1 in the Bomar Boys Series
Every small town has that one family that’s more savage than civilized. The ones that are more myth and legend than man. In Old Settlers, Oklahoma that’s the Bomar boys. Wild, reckless and vicious, they skirt the line of criminal and trip over it more often than not. They are their own punchline: white trash but proud beyond compare. Dirty and dangerously sexy, it’s best to steer clear of them or else risk your life… and your heart. These are their stories.
Jemma Buxton was running scared. She’s running home. But she had no idea she was running straight into his arms.
Fleeing an abusive relationship, she left everything behind. Her life. Her hopes. Her dreams. But not her heart. She wants to move on, start over and love again, but can she trust the first boy she ever loved with her bruised heart when he’s already broken it once?
Cash Bomar never thought he would see her again. Never thought she would come back to their tiny, backwoods town. Not after he cruelly and purposefully broke her heart and all but sent her away five years ago.
Seeing her again is the surprise of a lifetime and the fact that she needs his help is the second chance he never expected to make things right. All his life he’s been told he was nothing but bad, worthless and white trash, but she makes him want to be better. Can he convince the only girl he’s ever let close, ever loved, that she was always meant to be his?
They both have pasts they wish they could change. A history together they’ll have to overcome. Can they build a future together without a lifetime of regrets?
*No Regrets is the first book in the Bomar Boys series but can be read as a stand-alone. Each book features one couple and a HEA but will build on each other so they are best read in order.
**Warning** - This book contains explicit language, sexual scenes and violence. Though not depicted, mentions of domestic violence are key to the story and can be a trigger for some.

Book 2 in the Bomar Boys Series
Every small town has that one family that’s more savage than civilized. The ones that are more myth and legend than man. In Old Settlers, Oklahoma that’s the Bomar boys. Wild, reckless and vicious, they skirt the line of criminal and trip over it more often than not. They are their own punchline: white trash but proud beyond compare. Dirty and dangerously sexy, it’s best to steer clear of them or else risk your life… and your heart. These are their stories.
Colt Bomar is a bastard. A dirty, violent piece of white trash, he makes no apologies for who and what he is. He’s never cared what anyone thinks of him and he cares even less about trying to be a better kind of man… until her.
She’s everything he’s not. Good, sweet, gentle, she’s an angel that brightens his dark existence. But he’s seen the kind of destruction a man like him can wreak and he intends to protect her from that, from him, if it’s the only good thing he ever does.
Skylar Holland is no angel. Angels don’t lust after the bad-tempered boy next door when they’re involved with another man. They don’t dream about having the rough hands and sinful mouth of a guy that snaps and snarls at them all over their body. And that’s what she’s wanted from Colt since the moment the troubled Bomar boy said they were nothing but friends.
Friends? With the man that makes her blood boil and her heart melt? No, she wants more. She wants everything. And she’s not about to apologize for going after what she knows they both want. Forever.
Can he overcome his past to give her the future he knows she deserves? Or is he doomed to repeat the sins of his father by dragging her down into the darkness with him? And if she treads into the shadows to win him will she even still be the woman he wants when they come out the other side?
