Because Hanna- Gale didn’t think she had the strength to stop this, to end the searing passion and the smoky taste and the way that her mind was filling with desire and passion and pleasure and leaving no room for anything else.
It was impossible to think of anything but the feeling of his hands against her skin, the way he brushed her skin and pushed up her skirt, the way her panties were slid off her skin and into the floor in less than a minute.
She stepped out of them without even realizing that was what she was doing. Then his hands were tangling in her hair and she felt her dress slipping from her skin, hands sliding around her body to undo her bra and let it fall to the ground.
Hanna- Gale felt a flash of worry, about what the heck would happen when Casey arrived, worried about her, only to find her with Dan’s hands on her body. Despite herself, she felt the heat of desire spike at her own thoughts and she kissed him back harder.
Before Hanna- Gale knew it, she was naked aside from the shoes that she balanced on, high heels and nothing else. Dan hadn’t even taken off his jacket and the thought made Hanna- Gale blush red and shiver with lust. She grabbed his jacket in her hands and pressed her skin against the fabric he wore, feeling shudders pass through her as it rubbed against her breast, setting her nipples on fire and making her groan with a burning heat and need for him.
Dan chuckled, a low sound that suddenly sounded a lot warmer than before. He lifted her into his arms and before she realized, they were at the couch. He sat down and pushed her gently down. Hanna- Gale blushed, finding herself on her knees and Dan undid the buckle of his belt, unzipping his jeans. Hanna- Gale blushed at the sight of him- he was big and it sent shivers of warmth through her.
Then Dan’s hand was in her hair and she was taking the whole of him past her lips and into her mouth. He was hot and the taste of him flooded her senses, making her groan with pleasure. When she had woken this morning, she had not expected to be naked and on her knees for a man that she had only just met. The realization had her moaning softly with pleasurable lust as she sucked and licked, feeling the heat between her own thighs reaching a fever pitch.
She was so lost in thought and the feel of the pleasure coursing through her body that she jumped when the door slammed open. Dan held her in place, glancing casually at the door, “Casey, nice to see you.”
Worry and fear flooded Hanna- Gale, and she braced herself for his understandable anger. Instead, all she heard was his laughter and his footsteps. She prayed that he would be okay with this, and from the warm sound of his laughter, she was starting to hope that he was. That everything would work out. Her head was spinning with lust.
“Hanna- Gale, when you said you were going to sort things out, I didn’t think you’d go this far.”
A blush crept deeply up Hanna- Gale’s cheeks and she moaned softly with embarrassment. When she felt Casey moving behind her, shivers crept up her spine, “Mind if I join you?” His voice grew husky and Hanna- Gale thought she would be overwhelmed by desire right then and there.
His hands stroked her skin and she felt him press against her warmth, slowly sliding between her thighs and making her moan with pleasure. He was big and the feeling of him entering her was delicious. Her vision danced with stars and she felt like she was floating.
Hanna- Gale gasped as Dan gripped her hair tighter and the waves of pleasure threatened to drown her. She was lost in the feel of them, Casey thrusting deeply within her and making her moan and shiver with delight, the feel of his body against hers making her tremble all over.
She held on tight to the couch as the overwhelming feelings flooded through her, heady and hot and blissful. Hanna- Gale moaned, feeling her climax overwhelm her, crash into her and leave her gasping and trembling and trying to hold onto the feelings that felt too overwhelming to handle.
Casey and Dan climaxed soon after, and their groans made Hanna- Gale tremble with sheer pleasure as she swallowed and shivered and tightened. She felt them both and she felt the bliss overwhelming her senses.
It was blissful and dizzying and everything that she could have possibly hoped for, all wrapped into one and Hanna- Gale never, ever wanted it to end, never wanted to stop the pleasure that coursed through her veins and made her want to gasp for breath and lose her head all at the same time. She felt perfect and Hanna- Gale could never remember feeling this good.
It was wild, it was thrilling, it was contentment and danger all wrapped in one and Hanna- Gale was finding more and more that she absolutely loved it and wanted it so much more than she could dare to admit.
She swallowed and shut her eyes, letting the whole moment wash over her slowly. Perfect.
Dan sank back into the couch and Casey pulled out, pulling Hanna- Gale into his arms. Hanna- Gale gasped and sank back against him, feeling the heady pleasure blur her vision. She shut her eyes and sighed in contentment, letting the moment wash over her and leave her content and comfortable in the moment, the warmth blissful and sweet.
And for that moment, it was more than enough.
Thoughts of before rushed through her head, playing on repeat and Hanna- Gale smiled as she stood outside her house. It was about a week after her meeting with Dan and Casey and things couldn’t be going better. She’d finally found the solution to all of her problems and the future looked bright in front of her.
Dan had been the one to suggest it and Hanna- Gale was thrilled. The Snow leopards would be renting out the building as a sort of base/ club house, especially for when they needed to deal in more upmarket meetings. It was important to make sure that clients and guests were treated well and Hanna- Gale’s home would work perfectly.
Not to mention, she would get a nice income from the business, allowing her to pay for the basic living costs of the house and herself, and give her enough to live on very, very comfortably. Comfortably enough that she could quit her job and move here permanently.
She would keep a whole wing to herself, including several bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen, lounge room and study. It was bigger than any house Hanna- Gale had ever stayed in, and it suited her perfectly. It could comfortably house a large family and then some, so Hanna- Gale wasn’t complaining.
She would stay in her house, retain ownership, and be paid to lease out parts of it. The club would be kept happy about their turf and property, and Hanna- Gale got to keep everything she wanted, as well as ending her income woes.
It was perfect. It freed up time for her to search for work, if she wanted, or to spend time with Casey and the club. Casey and Dan had both insisted that she be fully welcomed into the club and Hanna- Gale was thrilled at the thought.
It wasn’t the life she had planned. It wasn’t sedate and safe and planned out like the one in the suburbs. It was dangerous, it was fun and it was thrilling. Hanna- Gale found that she loved it, craved it, and wanted it.
And every time she looked into Casey’s eyes and saw the fiery eyes of a snow leopard, she knew that she had made the best choice for her and for those around her. Staring at the house, she felt Casey’s arms wrap around her body and she sighed in contentment.
The roar of his bike wasn’t far off and she longed to ride with him for long hours, ride away from it all and focus on hours spent with him, a life in a fancy house and on the open road.
It was unusual, it was different, and it suited Hanna- Gale down to the ground. It was everything she could have hoped for.
“Ready to go?” Casey’s voice whispered into her ear.
Hanna- Gale turned and kissed him, tasting him on her lips and feeling the searing, smoky heat. She could lose herself in his arms, lose herself in the feel of his hands on her body, him ahead of her as they rode on the bike, his smile as he looked at her and burnt her with those beautiful eyes. She couldn’t believe that she had once dreamt of hating this man, for even a moment.
“Ready.” She smiled.
Everything was just perfect.
The snow leopard stood, prou
d and tall. Hanna- Gale could see him standing atop the mountain, surveying his domain. He was so proud, and standing so tall. Hanna- Gale couldn’t help but admire him, couldn’t help but see majesty in his stance, in the way that he looked over his people, over the millions scattered across the earth.
Somehow, even though she could not see them, Hanna- Gale knew that there were millions down there, millions around the world who were aligned with this magnificent creature. She felt like her breath had been taken away from her in a sudden rush, in a beautiful rush of air and breathlessness. She bit her lip and took a deep breath, feeling the sensations catch in her throat and tighten in her chest, an ache that she could not let go of, an ache that was lingering in the background and refusing to let go of her.
She loved it, loved watching this creature, watching the muscles that bunched beneath his skin, watching the rise and fall of its breathing and the ways his chest tightened and relaxed, expanded and contracted with each breath. He looked so powerful standing there, so strong towering above everyone, a force to be reckoned with, someone who should not be messed with, or argued with. There was a magnetism about him that Hanna- Gale could not ignore. There was a strength that rippled through him, a power that she could not deny, something about him that was drawing her closer and closer and closer.
She could feel the way that the air seemed to ripple around him and it touched something deep inside Hanna- Gale. She felt a freedom, a longing, and an ache that she had never felt before and did not know what to call it. It was something that was calling her to him and she could not turn away. Something about his eyes as he stared out into the distance.
It was a mysterious force and Hanna- Gale didn’t know how or why it was working on her, didn’t know what to do or what to say or how to act. She shuddered, feeling herself move, as if in a trance. One foot moved a step forward on its own, tentative and hesitant. Then the second foot followed, stepping into the unknown, stepping into a world that she had never before experienced, or even heard about.
Her body seemed to be moving on its own, stepping out into the great unknown, stepping out into something new and strange and different in so many ways. She didn’t know what lay ahead, and she didn’t know what was waiting for her. But Hanna- Gale stepped forward, one foot at a time, moving out into the unknown, with no one but herself to offer guidance, no one but herself to help her move forward, move onwards.
And yet, she had to move, had to move forward and keep going, had to keep moving until she found the place where she needed to be. And she had a feeling, a feeling deep inside of her, that she was meant to be here, meant to move towards the snow leopard that was standing so proud on the mountain, who was watching over everyone with such strength and dignity and grace, who was not about to quit or give up or move away. He was strong, he was confident and she needed to be by his side.
She needed to get to him. She took a step, moving closer and closer, approaching him faster and faster, feeling the breath on her skin as she gasped, her breathing coming in short, sharp pants as she ran towards him, ran towards him and felt the pressure on her skin, on her body. She felt the ache in her chest as she approached and got closer and closer.
The snow leopard turned around, fixing his eyes on her, those beautiful, yellow eyes that seemed to stare into her soul, seemed to stare into her very mind and capture her with the intensity, with the way that he wouldn’t look away, the focus, the breathless way it made her feel, the tension that caught in her chest and left her gasping and shaky and wanting to be closer already.
The draw to him was spiritual, was more intense than anything that she had ever felt before and she could not turn away. She could not turn away from this leopard, this creature with such strength, the creature who would guide her, keep her safe and bring her the type of fulfilment that she had been craving and needing and wanting for the longest time, that she had been so desperate for, for the longest time. She needed it, ached for it, wanted the fulfilment and the purpose in her life, and wanted to feel whole again.
She needed this. As she approached, it hit her all over again. The snow leopard stood, proud and tall.
There was a magnetism about him that Hanna- Gale could not ignore. There was a strength that rippled through him, a power that she could not deny, something about him that was drawing her closer and closer and closer.
She reached out a hand, reached out towards him, longing to pull him in and draw him close, to feel him near again, feel something, anything. She could hear her heart pounding in her ears.
This time, when she reached out, she felt Casey’s hand in hers. This time, she felt on top of the world. This time, everything was perfect.

Panther Protector
Chapter 1
Isabella- Fae woke up to the sounds of a roar above her head. With a start she jumped up, feeling the stress and tension flood through her system and make her feel sick. For a moment, she did not know what was going on, she could not remember what was happening and why she was hearing the sound of roaring above her head, why the intensity of it all was so close to her, so overwhelmingly close, so intense and so ever-present. Isabella- Fae bit her lip, feeling the tension rise within her for what must have been the hundredth time that evening. She pushed herself up, feeling the panic ebb and leave her with nothing but a washed out worry, a dull beating heart and a shuddering body. She squeezed her eyes shut and took a deep breath, trying to process what was going on around her.
She was at an airport, sitting on one of the many benches and chairs that dotted the place. She was leaning against the wall, feeling the coolness of it press against her skin, through her jacket and her shirt. Of course she was hearing the sound of roaring above her head- the planes were taking off and landing all the time, with no regard to her sleep, no regard to what she was doing or trying to work through, trying to process. She squeezed her eyes shut, taking a deep, deep breath, trying to settle the panic in her bones.
She slumped back again, letting the feelings of it all wash over her like water, wash over her like rain, like a cool bath after a long, hot day outside. She shook her head, taking a deep breath and trying to think through the events of the last week or so, trying to think through everything that had happened, and everything that she needed to process, work through and to do.
She had gotten the phone call last week, but it felt like only last night. She had been sitting in her apartment, kicking back after a long day at the office, when she had gotten the phone call, the one that had changed her life forever, the one that had shifted everything, all her plans, all her worries, everything. The one call that had completely upended her life with no worries, as easily as if a switch had been flicked.
"Miss James? I'm afraid I have bad news. Your father is missing." Her father, a man who she loved and respected and honored. Her father, a man who meant the world to her and who had alway
s been there for her, through her life. Her father, a man who had, essentially, raised her, and who had always done everything in his power for her. Her father, a man who she loved and cherished and adored. He was missing.
Isabella- Fae had felt a stone sinking in her gut, felt like she had just been punched to the heart, had her heart ripped out and twisted in her chest. Her father was missing and no one knew where he was. Her father was missing and nobody had a clue where to even start looking. The call had come in late that evening and Isabella- Fae had barely slept since then. She had spent many nights awake with worry, awake with the stress of not knowing if he was alive or dead, awake with the stress of planning and planning and trying to find ways to find him, to manage everything that was now dumped on her plate. Her old job fell by the wayside, meaning nothing in the face of all that she had to do, of all that she had to try and accept.
It had been a rollercoaster, a whirlwind of activity and work and so much more. It had been intense, highs and lows that had swept her off her feet, aching hearts and beautiful support that she had never expected. It had been everything, and nothing, but when it boiled down to it- her father was still missing. And that was all that Isabella- Fae could think about.
Her father was a noble man, a hardworking man, a man who everyone seemed to admire. He was the kind of person who treated everyone well, and how they deserved to be treated, often even better than that. He was the kind of man who listened, who stopped and had time for everyone, who had time to help everyone that he met. He had raised Isabella- Fae all on his own, after her mother had died when she was young. He had raised his baby girl, and made sure that she grew up feeling loved and supported and cared for.
He had always done everything in his power to make sure that she felt secure, felt loved and cared for throughout her life and, for that, Isabella- Fae was endlessly grateful. She knew many people who never had that, even with both of their parents present. And she was lucky enough to have that with only one parent and a busy parent at that.
