Finding Fate Page 50

by Charisse Spiers

Also, it may seem like it was left off on a mini cliffhanger, but if you’ve been reading this since Konnor & Presley, you probably have already guessed that’s because they operate on a timeline as a whole more than an individual couple, and yes, everything will be answered within time. Keep an eye out, Landon’s story is next in Alluring Fate.

For those that have been waiting on books from other series like Sex Sessions, Rescue Me from Darkness, and the like, I haven’t forgotten about them. Thank you for being patient. I promise I’m trying to get back to them as soon as possible, but when I write what is heavier in my mind, I get more books out for you to enjoy faster, and sometimes this means multiple books in a series or even something new to give me a break. It took me four years to get back to my Fate series, and now that I have, I’ve published five books. I believe wholeheartedly the stories are much better now than they would have been in 2014. They always come out when it’s time, and if I let the characters come on their time, the story is that much better.

Please, please, please, consider leaving a review. I will not come at you and comment on reviews or message you or something crazy, even if it is a less than perfect rating.

I know readers are being scared away from reviews. It does not have to be a book summary. It does not have to be lengthy and over the top. My favorite ones are simply if you liked the book and why. It gives me another perspective.

I can’t express how much this impacts a book being circulated in a digital bookstore that is running in the millions in number. If the sales channel you utilize is giving you problems with leaving a review, GoodReads—a book social community—or even Bookbub is perfectly fine.

  You guys rock!

  To everyone else,

My cover designer, my betas, my ARC readers, Instagram teaser makers, my formatter, book bloggers who share things, and bookish friends everywhere that just like to talk books, thank you, from the bottom of my heart for everything you do. This community has its highs and lows, and those who continue to stay for your love of reading are the real MVP. Never let anyone break you down. Without readers, books would simply be an object.

  I love you all!

  XOXO,

  Charisse

  About the Author

I found books when I was going through a hard time in life. They became my means of escape when things got bad. I realized quickly how much I loved to take a backseat to someone else's life and watch the journey unfold. That began my journey with books in November of 2012. I constantly had a book open on my Kindle app. Never in a million years would I have imagined myself as a writer, because I never thought I was creative enough. I'm living proof that things will fall into place when they're meant to be. People will make their way into our lives when we don't expect it, setting the path for what we are meant to do. Never give up on people. Never stop taking a chance on others. Someone took a chance on trusting me with her work when she didn't know me from a stranger on the street and gave me the opportunity of a lifetime as our relationship progressed, which led me to editing and writing as well. This is my dream I never knew I had. As soon as I sat down and gave writing a shot, it was like the floodgates opened. Now, I am lost in a world of fiction in my head, new characters constantly screaming for their stories to be told. Continue to dream and to go for them. No one ever found happiness by sitting on the sidelines. Sometimes we have to take risks and put ourselves out there. Thank you for all of your support, and may there be many books to come. XOXO- C
