  A Memory of Light by Robert Jordan & Brandon Sanderson remained in first place on the hardcovers list for the fourth
consecutive month, while Frost Burned by Patricia Briggs debuted in second. The new runner-up was The Cats of Tanglewood Forest by Charles de Lint & Charles Vess (Little, Brown), out of 46 titles nominated, up from the 39 we saw last month.

  David Brin’s Existence moved up the chart to number one on the paperback list, with A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin maintaining its spot in second place. The runner-up was David Drake’s The Road of Danger (Baen), with 51 titles nominated, down from last month’s 58.

  Max Brooks’s World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War rose to first place on the trade paperback list this month. There was no new runner-up, with 40 titles nominated, down a bit from the 43 we saw last month.

  Star Trek: Devil’s Bargain by Tony Daniel (Pocket) debuted in first place on the media-related titles this month, and there was no new runner-up. There were nine titles nominated, down from last month’s 13.

  Forgotten Realms: Charon’s Claw by R.A. Salvatore stayed in first in the gaming-related titles, with no new runner-up. There were 12 titles nominated, up from the eight we saw last month.
