″I'm so sorry you've traveled all this way. ″ She said, ″Tell them all that I'm sorry, but this is my decision. ″
″Ava, what are you talking about? Get in here! ″
″No. I'm not going back with you. ″
″Of course, you are! ″
″No, I'm staying. Life is good here. I don't want to go back. ″
″What have they done to you? ″ He asked, incredulous.
″They have shown me an alternative to how we live and I'm staying. I've found my soul mate! ″ Ava said, happiness welling up inside her.
″Ava you are being ridiculous! ″
″I'm not. Going back would be ridiculous! I'm sorry you wasted this journey. Tell them I'm fine. ″ She said, ″Here, take this. ″ She threw the box that she had traveled there for up to him and he caught it, ″Now you have everything we needed. I'll see you if you ever come back. ″
″We may never come back, if we go, you'll be stranded here. ″
″I'm not stranded, I'm living. ″ She said, ″Go!″
″It's your choice. ″ He said. He stood for a moment longer in the doorway, then moved back and closed the door with a thud behind him. Ava knew there was a chance she was crazy, but she didn't care, she was happy.
″Erox! ″ She shouted. He had walked away, not wanting to see her departure. He turned now and saw her still standing there, her bag and case at her feet as the ship lifted away behind her.
″Ava? What are you doing? ″
″Erox, you were right all along! I don't know why I fought it! ″ Ava shouted. She left her stuff and ran towards him. He understood then, and ran for her too. Catching each other, they kissed, harder and more intensely than they had minutes earlier.
″You are my soulmate. I'm choosing to stay here with you. ″
″I cannot believe it. ″ He smiled.
″One condition. ″ She said, ″I will be working in the Command Center, not the fields. ″
Erox bristled but nodded, ″Ok. I can arrange that. It is up to me after all. ″
″Exactly. ″ Ava said, ″Now, can we make it official?″
″I would love to. ″ They returned to collect her belongings and walked back to his home, their home.
For the first time since her arrival on Rista, Ava felt nervous. Not the kind of constant panic she had lived with during half her time there, not the terror of the crash but the normal type of nerves she remembered from Earth when she met a guy she liked.
Although they had done a few things over the course of the week when she couldn't resist him, she knew that now they were going to go all the way. As much as she wanted to and couldn't wait, she knew she was unlike any woman that Erox had had relations with.
She wondered how weird it would be. What if it turned out it wasn't even possible? She thought.
″Are you sure about this? ″ Erox asked once they were back at home. He wrapped his arms around her.
″I am sure. I want to be yours. ″ She said. He kissed her then and from the intensity of it; she knew how happy he was that she had chosen to stay.
″Shall we move to the bed? ″ He asked.
″Good idea. ″ Ava said, ″I'm a little nervous. ″
″That is ok. Soon, you will feel so good, you will not feel nervous. ″ He smiled. She was sure he was right. She lay on the bed.
″Turn over. ″ He said. She did as she was told. Erox climbed onto the bed too, kneeling between her legs. He leaned over, she could feel his weight slightly leaning into her, and he began to kiss her back.
Ava breathed loudly as he made his way up her back towards her neck. He was being so gentle that she felt her nerves melting away.
″Is that good? ″ He asked.
″It is. ″ Ava sighed. Erox unclasped her bikini top at the back and he took his time, covering her back and her shoulders with light kisses until Ava felt all of her skin tingling at once.
Now that her top was mostly off, she lifted her shoulders a little, inviting him to move his hands around from her sides to her breasts.
″I will never get used to the way they fill my hands. ″ He whispered into her ear. She knew he loved it from the way he played with them.
″Your hands feel so good. ″ She lifted up further so he could trail one hand down her stomach, down until he found what he was looking for. Ava gasped as he slid one of his strong fingers in.
″You are much warmer than I am used to, it is... thrilling. ″
″I'm ready. ″ Ava told him.
″Are you sure? ″
″Definitely. I want it.″
Erox let go so Ava could turn over, facing him. She lifted her knees either side of him and opened her legs, showing him what he wanted. She was thrilled to see he had already slipped his shorts off at some point and she could see everything.
It would be the first time she would find out why a Ristite man's Tok had two parts and she couldn't wait. It was bigger than any she had seen on Earth, which made her feel slightly nervous all over again but she knew it was going to be the best she had ever had.
Ava watched as he leaned forward and got himself ready. When he was, he looked up at her, keeping perfect eye contact as he pushed into her. Ava moaned as he filled her, she couldn't help it; it really was the most amazing thing she had ever felt. He leaned down closer to her then, so he could kiss her before he began to move.
″Is that ok? ″ He asked her as he began to move his hips.
″Bette than ok. ″ Ava said, ″Much better. ″
Now she knew, the upper part of his Tok stayed on the outside, rubbing against her, giving her infinite pleasure. As they became used to each other, Erox became braver, moving quicker and faster.
″Oh, oh, wow. ″ Ava moaned as she felt something building, something stronger than she had ever experienced.
″I know. ″ Erox said. As Ava cried out with pleasure, Erox shuddered and released himself into her. They stayed together, breathing hard for a few minutes before he moved and lay down to relax beside her.
″That was amazing. ″ Ava said, ″Truly. ″
″It was. I've never known it to be like that. ″
″I'm so happy I'm staying here with you. ″ She told him, kissing him on the cheek.
″I always knew you would. You cannot deny your soulmate. ″
″Even as I was heading for the ship? ″
″I may have been concerned for a moment. ″ Erox laughed.
Ava thought about how Erox had been when she had first arrived and couldn't believe the difference in him. Although he was still the strong, confident man she had felt an instant attraction to, she now felt like she could see the real him.
There was a softer, loving side and she was excited to get know him more and more as she made her home on Rista.
″Earth, come on Earth. ″ Ava said, watching the screen in front of her for signs of a connection.
″Hello Ava, Earth here.″ A clear voice replied.
″Hi Tom. ″
″How's life on Rista? ″ He asked, no longer with the note of concern she had grown used to hearing during the first few weeks.
″Fantastic, thank you Tom, how is Earth? ″
″Busy as always. The ship should be arriving with you in two weeks with the tech and items that you've requested. If there anything else you'd like to add?″ Tom asked.
″Some more heat spray is always appreciated. ″ Ava said.
″Of course, I'll add that to the list. ″
″Thank you Tom. Is that everything for today? ″
″I think so. Take care of yourself Ava. And say hi to Erox for me. ″
″Of course. Thank you Tom. Bye for now. ″
They disconnected and Ava removed her headset. Looking around the Command Center, she couldn't believe her luck.
Once upon a time, she had believed working in an office in the Earth Research Center was as good as it could get. Now she was doing constant research on Rista to send back, living with the most handsome man
in the universe and living a peaceful life. She couldn't imagine a better life.
