“Is breá liom tú.” This time it was his eyes that widened when she said the words back in his native language. “I learned it a long time ago, hoping I’d be able to say it to my Irish boyfriend one day. I’d nearly lost hope.”
He chuckled. “Then good thing Destiny set her sight on us. I’ve a feeling this is going to be my best Christmas yet.”
“Mine, too.”
Conor’s lips stopped whatever other thought was going through her mind. And even though there was no mistletoe hanging over them, this felt like the most perfect scene from a romantic Christmas movie. And she loved it.

Acknowledgments
Thanks to the other Friends of Fortune who have been on this fun journey with me: Julie, Joslyn, Maria, Jenni, Nicole, Sidney.
Huge thanks to Najla, my amazing designer at Najla Qamber Designs, for another beautiful work of art—and for being ultra-patient with us when we changed our minds, um, approximately a hundred times.
Thanks to Kathy at Indie Chick Editing for your fast turnaround and for helping me make the book better.
Thanks to my author besties—you know who you are—for being there for me through thick and thin, for making me laugh when I wanted to cry, and for making me change my mind when I wanted to smash my laptop against the wall and give up. I’m so happy our paths have crossed, even if only virtually.
Finally, thanks to all my readers, old and new, who give me the opportunity to keep writing the stories playing in my head. If I can keep living my dream it’s only thanks to you.

About the Author
Roberta is an Italian author of sweet, heart-warming romances set in Ireland or in small towns in the United States—two places where she’d love to live while writing full-time. She’s also an avid reader who thinks daydreaming should be a paid profession and that the world would be a better place if bookworms ruled it.
Growing up as an only child, she spent all her free time with her nose stuck in books, enjoying the company of fictional friends, while dreaming of becoming an author. Discovering books by Rosamunde Pilcher was the turning point in her life, and she decided to start writing down the stories that kept playing in her head, just for fun. After the first couple of stories, though, she found it impossible to stop—and she’s been writing ever since.
