“We want to have a big wedding. You are going to help plan it, right?”
She hugged me and giggled, “You’re damn right, I wouldn’t have it any other fucking way.”
I had to laugh. Leave it to Sarah to use her trucker mouth when we’re having a serious conversation.
“I don’t want a white dress,” I giggled as I hugged her tight.
“Oh,” she suddenly screamed in my ear, let go of me and went running out of the room. I stood there stunned for a few seconds. I was just about to turn and go back into the dining room when she came back in the kitchen carrying a gigantic tub.
After placing the tub on the kitchen table she pulled the lid off and started pulling out magazines, clippings, books, samples of everything from napkins to invitations to favors. The counter was suddenly covered in wedding stuff. It was just like months ago when we were planning Chelsea’s wedding and a year ago when we planned Sarah’s wedding. We never had this for Maggie as her wedding was a surprise for her. But even though Tyler and I are already married we had both decided that we wanted to give not only us but our friends and family a wedding.
“Found it!” She said excitedly as she pulled out a small file filled with magazine pages. She opened it and flipped through the pages quickly. “Here,” she said handing me a page. “I was thinking about this as a bridesmaid dresses for you girls, but decided against it. This would be a perfect wedding dress for you.”
I looked down at the page she just handed me and saw the most beautiful dress. It was a luxurious elegant mermaid dress. It was court length and had a cowl neck. It was a light blue, almost pale blue, with a white lace covering. Along the lace some of the flowers were raised and adorned with silver gem stones. It was perfect.
Just after I gave her a teary smile of approval Maggie and Chelsea joined us in the kitchen. We were once again turning the kitchen into a wedding planning one stop shopping area. I never had a real wedding, with both Kris and Jeremy we went down to the Justice of Peace, and technically Tyler and I did elope. But because he loved me he always promised that we would have a real wedding when the time was right.
“Darlin’?” Tyler stuck his head into the kitchen. I smile up at him. “Before spring training, ok?”
“That’s six weeks from now,” Sarah said as she pulled a calendar out of the pile and we all look at where she’s pointing to the day they leave. “Do you want a honeymoon?”
I hear the smile cross his face as he responds, “I don’t care if we get a honeymoon. I just want to be married before I leave.”
“Nope, you get a honeymoon,” she waves Tyler off with a flick of her wrist and turns back to us girls. “Alright ladies, we’ve got four weeks to pull this off. Honeymoon is easy. Jamaica?” She asks as she turns to me. I shake my head yes. “Good, one of the senior partners at Zane’s law firm has a house there. We borrowed it for our anniversary back in November. I’ll give Izzy a call,” she looks at her watch. “I’ll email her it’s the middle of the night over in London. I’m sure she’ll let you guys use the house for a week or so.” She’s already on her phone typing an email away.
We worked for hours going over different ideas for flowers, dresses, tux’s and location. You think we would be experts at this now between the three weddings we’ve already put together. It was when Liam brought in bags of greasy fast food that we realized it was well after midnight and everyone had gone home except for us. Over midnight burgers and fries we planned a wedding. My wedding.

I walk through the apartment checking on all the kids. Payton and Cage a snuggled in their cribs holding tight onto their blankets and stuffed animals. Kristopher is passed out face down on his bed spread out like he isn’t saving an inch for anyone else. When I quietly opened Felicity’s door I notice a light peeking out from under the covers. It’s close to two in the morning and she’s still under the covers reading her books. She is my little book-nerd.
I slowly walk over to the bed and kneel down next to it. Sticking my hand in between the blankets I grabbed her side and started tickling her. She screamed and then squealed. Tossing the covers off her head she squeals and pleads with me to stop. I climb into bed next to her and we snuggle down under the covers.
“Wanna girl talk?” I ask her. We used to do this all the time before we moved back here, but since coming here life has been so hectic we haven’t done it much. She nodded at me. “Do you still love living here?”
“I love it here mom,” she said with a gigantic smile. “I love discovering new things every day. I love the park. I even love school. It’s so much more challenging then back when we lived with dad. I didn’t like school then, it was boring, but here I love it.”
Felicity is smart, smarter than me, smart enough to help her older brother with his homework sometimes, especially in math.
“Are you happy with Tyler? Payton and Cage?”
“Mom,” she whined in that I’m almost a pre-teen whine. “You know I love Tyler. I love that he makes you happy. I love that he loves us, loved us from the second he met us. I love that he took in Payton and Cage even though they aren’t his. He has a big heart and we filled it for him. I love Payton and Cage. I love their baby smiles and laughs. I always wanted to be a big sister and the fact that now I am, I just love it. I wouldn’t even mind if we got more babies to bring home.”
I hug her close and tight. “When did you grow up and become such a wonderful young woman.”
“I’ve been this way for a long time mom,” she giggled at me.
“Alright my young woman, it’s late, no more reading, time to sleep.” I kissed her forehead and tucked her into bed.
Felicity’s words mulled in my brain as I walked around the house turning lights off, could we really adopt more? Would Tyler want to adopt more? Hell we would have to move, find a bigger place, or at the least buy the other apartments on this floor and remodel like they did down stairs.
Tyler is fast asleep with his face squished into my pillow, taking up the whole bed. After getting ready for bed I climb onto the bed and kneel beside him. He’s only left a few inches on each side so it’s not like I could even lie down and curl up next to him, there’s no room. I lightly push him and he just grunts at me. I push him again and he rolls to his back but he’s still hogging the bed. I straddle his hips and drag my nails lightly down his chest. I feel him begin to harden under me. I reach behind me and drag my nails up his exposed thighs. He groans again as he pushes his hip up a little. Leaning forward I brace my hands just above his shoulders and I start a slow sensual lick down his neck. As I reached his left nipple his hands gripped my hair. Suddenly he sits straight up holding me to him.
I giggle as he looks into my eyes, “Well it’s about time. You were hogging the bed and I wanted to go to sleep.”
I slide off his hips and go to lie down on my side of the bed. Tyler holts my movements by grabbing my hips, “You start a dangerous game and don’t even want to finish what you started?” He questions with a hint of humor in his eyes. I nod my head at him as he pushes his now erect cock into me. “I don’t think so,” he said as he crushes his mouth to mine.
Ripping the shirt I’m wearing in half he flips us over so he’s now laying on top of me and my t-shirt is hanging off my shoulders. “Hey, I liked that shirt,” I laughed as he latched onto one of my nipples. He licked and sucked until it peaked to the point of pain, then he moved to my other nipple and did the same. When my hips started to rock under him he started to make his way down my stomach, kissing, licking and nipping my skin with his teeth. His fingertip skimmed across my skin as he ran them over my hips, hooking them into my panties and dragging them down my legs, tossing them somewhere on the floor. Again his mouth was on me, working his way from my ankle to my inner thigh one leg at a time. His tongue just lightly touched my sex and I bucked my hips toward his face.
“Now who wants to play?” he growled as he traced his finger from my clit downwards, swirling through the wetness that see
ped out. “Now who wants me to touch them? Should I roll over and go to bed? Or should I be nice and make love to you?” He pushes his underwear down freeing his hard cock, pre-cum leaking from the tip. He stroked it from root to tip and back down. “Should I just get myself off as you watch and leave you hanging?” His fingers stroked up and down, up and down, my hips moved to the motion of his hand. “Or should I take my cock and shove it in your sweet wet pussy?” He shoves two fingers into me, “You’re already so wet for me.”
Before I could respond he leans back, grabs my ankles and flips me onto my stomach, pushing my knees up under me, raising my ass in the air and pushing into me. I groan as he sinks all the way in. He stilled and waited a second before he pulled back out slamming into me hard, hard enough to push me forward, pushing me into the headboard. He pulled my body back an inch till my head was far enough from the headboard and then slammed into me again pushing my body back toward the headboard. Placing my palms flat against the headboard, I braced my body for the next time and he slammed into me again, the bed rocking with our motion. I could feel my orgasm building, burning in my limbs as it gets stronger and stronger. It burst through me as I scream his name.
As I float back down in my body, I feel Tyler flip me so I’m back on my back. My eyes focus on his face and his electric blue eyes shine bright as his hips move in a slow motion pushing his cock in and out of me slowly. Making slow love to me. His fingers caress my body, his lips make a path along my neck, my fingertips running up and down his back. Slowly we kiss, our tongues mating and matching the pace of our body. I crested into a second orgasm and a second later I felt Tyler still and fill me with his warm cum as he reached his own orgasm.
~~~
The sun peaked through the curtain as I began to wake, I could hear Chelsea talking to Cage through the baby monitor. I feel lucky to have all my friends here in the same building as me. We were always helping each other out when it came to the kids.
Tyler is wrapped around my back, holding onto one of my breasts like it is a lifeline. I turned in his arms and his face scrunched as he lost his hold on my breast. His hand skimmed my back and found my ass. His fingers dug into the flesh of one of my ass cheeks, his face relaxed as he went back into a deep sleep. I sighed and closed my eyes, drifting back to sleep as I snuggled into his chest.
I awoke a little while later to Tyler nuzzling my neck. “Morning,” he said as he placed small kisses along my neck up to my ear.
“I hear Mrs. Stanson is selling the apartment next door,” I said without opening my eyes. I feel Tyler sit up a little and I open my eyes to look into his face. “Payton and Cage are going to need their own rooms at some point,” Tyler smiled down at me. “I want more. I want to give kids who don’t have parents a home. I loved adopting Cage and Payton with you. I always wanted a big family.” I could feel the burn of tears start, “I’m sorry I can’t give you your own,” I whispered as the tears started to leak. “But I want more kids with you and I want to give them the home that we can afford to give them.”
Tyler’s fingers wiped at the tears running down my cheek, “Darlin’, we can adopt as many kids as you’d like. You want ten, then we’ll get six more. I told you they don’t have to be my blood for them to be mine. I love Payton and Cage as If they were mine. The world may know Cage as my own, but you and I know the truth and that’s all that matters. I love Kristopher and Felicity as if they were mine, if I knew your ex would let me, I would adopt them and make them mine also. My family is with you and it doesn’t matter where our kids come from. Let’s see what we can find out about the apartment. Let’s make an offer and if we get it then let’s remodel for more bedrooms and let’s find a nanny to help with all those kids.”
“I love you,” I whisper against his lips.
Sarah, Chelsea and Maggie were all in the kitchen making lunch by the time we actually got around to leaving the bedroom. I’m guessing one of them took the kids to school, or one of the boys at least. I feel lucky that nothing has happened to me to wind up with a body guard like Sarah and Maggie. It doesn’t matter how hot they are, having a shadow like they do can get annoying.
“I just put the babies down for a nap,” Maggie smiled at me. “Liam followed the kids to school this morning. Kris wanted to walk everyone on his own. I wasn’t sure how you would feel about that so we had Liam follow behind.”
I smiled. My boy is getting so big. Twelve years old almost. Becoming such a young man. He had asked me before about walking to school alone with the girls. If it wasn’t for the camera’s that followed Sarah and Josie around I probably would had let him by now, but I could tell Sarah was iffy about it when I mentioned it. She must have been ok with Liam following behind them since she didn’t say anything to stop it.
“I heard back from Izzy, Zane’s boss, she said you guys can borrow the house. I’ll just run by her office here in the city and grab the key from her cousin in the next couple of weeks,” she smiled at me.
“Make sure to tell her ‘thank you’ from us,” I said as I grabbed half of the sandwich that Chelsea placed in front of me. A fancy ass grilled cheese, it was on a sourdough bread, with fontina cheese, bacon and tomatoes. It was so good.
Before I knew it we’re all sitting around talking wedding and plans. Who thinks where to get married is best. I knew I wouldn’t have it back home like Sarah did, a destination wedding like Maggie had wasn’t going to work because there isn’t enough time to pull it all together. Chelsea and Jimmy got married on Long Island, I don’t think I want to go that far.
I pulled a bundle of brochures from a pile of stuff the girls brought upstairs. After looking through about half of them I pulled the next one from the pile. Smiling I knew I found where I wanted to get married. I opened the brochure and looked at the room plan. It would definitely be big enough for everyone. I passed it to Sarah and she smiled and nodded her head at me.
“The ceremony here,” I pointed to one part of the room, “and the reception here,” I said as I pointed to another part.
Before I could even blink Sarah was on the phone, pulling strings and talking like she was booking one of her fundraising events. When she finally hung up, she turns and smiles at me letting me know that the place is all ours.
“Ever think we should leave Decker’s foundation and the four of us start a wedding planning business?”
I see the smile creep across her face and turn to see the same smile creeping up Maggie and Chelsea’s face. I’ve just planted an idea in all of their heads. Maybe it’s something to think about, maybe not.
Chapter 14
It’s crazy outside. Guests are starting to file in, some people I have never even meet. But, that’s what I get for marrying a famous sports star. It’s really overwhelming. If it wasn’t for my girls I’m sure I would have gone running for the hills. I had never been overwhelmed by Tyler’s famous status, or that of anyone else that we’ve hung out with over the past year and a half, but today I am.
Boats were filling up the Hudson River trying to get a picture worth the money with their long range cameras. Thankfully, there are shades on the windows that have been drawn down, that block the view from outside but allows us to still see the view. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get married. Chelsea Piers is perfect, the Hudson River as the background, the sun shining, it’s just perfect.
“Cupcake?” I hear as the door slowly opens.
“Get out you can’t see the bride before you get married,” Maggie yells as she ran towards the door trying to keep it from opening all the way.
I laughed, “Maggie its Theo, not Tyler, let him in.” Maggie gave me a questioning look. “Tyler calls me darlin’, Theo calls me cupcake. Never the other way.”
Maggie opens the door and Theo walks in with his strut claiming the attention of everyone in the room. Theo has stepped up since I gave him the chance. I’ve talked to my cousin a few times and the last time I talked to him he said that he actually had to hire another apprentice beca
use Tyler knew so much that an apprenticeship wasn’t fit for him and that he was hired on as a full time employee. Steven said that he works more hours than a lot of his other employees, that the designs that Theo comes up with are more than he could wish for. Theo just needed someone to give him a chance and that is what Steven and I did for him.
“Do you have it?” I asked as he reached me. He nodded his head and handed me the envelope. One of my wedding presents to Tyler. “Thank you! Any trouble getting it?”
Theo shook his head, “Easiest thing I ever had to get. Tyler will love it.” He placed a kiss on my cheek and turned and walked from the room.
I slipped the envelope into the little suitcase that was packed and waiting to be picked up after the wedding so we can run off to our honeymoon in Jamaica. Tyler is going to love it. It’s hard finding the right present for the man who has all the money in the world and is hard to shop for. But this? This is the perfect present, it makes me happy and filled with so much joy. The thought of his face when he sees what’s actually in the envelope will make me happy for longer than the memory of this wedding.
My father is soon standing at my side telling me it’s time to go. I’m more nervous now than the day that I actually got married. But this, this feels like we actually are getting married for the first time, like we never did get married in Vegas. I can hear my father whispering and telling me to breathe. I follow behind the girls and one by one they walk down and take their place in front of everyone. Then the music changes and it’s my turn. It’s my turn to walk down the aisle.
I looked up and straight into the smiling eyes of my husband. My soon to be husband. I haven’t been married for seven months. No, this is it. This is me marrying Tyler for the first time. I want to run down the aisle and jump into his arms. His strong arms. Arms that will hold me for the rest of our lives. He looks so good standing there in his charcoal grey suit, custom fit to his body. Hugging his strong arms, pulling taut against his massive thighs. His light blue tie matching the color of my dress.
